Global Diplomatic Conference?• Unhappiness with education standards

After the recent Naval conflict between Panjali and NGU ships in the Atlantic, among other conflicts across the world, calls have been made to host a Global Conference with representatives from every nation to meet and discuss global issues. Chancellor Ludwig Schmidt spoke at a panel about it earlier this morning.

"Prussiaholm is committed to ensuring global tensions only decrease over the coming months and that is the main reason why we want a worldwide conference. The whole world, specifically the global economy, is suffering as a result of embargoes, war and conflict. We are sure that a conference like this would go a long way in improving things. We will be reaching out to other nations to see about hosting said conference."

While the conference sounds all well and good on paper, can nations put aside their conflicts and meet to make our world a better place? That remains to be seen.

A recent poll shows 47% of people believe Prussiaholm's education standards should be higher.
"Prussiaholm is a first world, developed nation. Our education system simply isn't befitting of a nation like ours. The Reichsparlement must do more to improve the situation." says Jana Mayer, President of the Reformed Education Panel. While it's not confirmed yet, rumour has it the Reichsparlement will be rolling out Education initiatives to the Development-Expansion plan.

​​​Naval skirmish outside Caspia results in NGU victory



The Panjali 2nd Fleet was sunk


After a brief skirmish between the Union Navy and the trespassing Panjali blockade fleets yesterday, the Union Ministry of Defense has confirmed that the blockade ships of the Panjali 2nd Fleet have been sunk and destroyed by the combined forces of the Union Navy, along with support by the Worrisian Federal Navy.

Following the moving of several Panjali fleets into the Atlantic Ocean earlier last month, concern was expressed on whether or not an Asian military action would be performed against the Nationalist Gold Union. These concerns were confirmed when two Panjali fleets motioned in to the Laurentian east coast in an attempt to form a blockade.

Afterwards, the force of the Union Navy drew on into the blockade and surrounded it. During the Prime Minister's visit to Standevia, he reportedly told the Panjali Premier to move all ships out of the Nationalist Gold Union's waters or face destruction. Additionally, APSIA Ambassador Donald Cohen filed the same request to his Panjali counterpart. Yesterday, several warning shots were fired to try to convince the fleet to move out of the waters. The shots were ignored.

The shots that were not ignored, however, were the ones that tore apart the 2nd Fleet and sunk its ships to the bottom of the north Atlantic. While the Union fleets in Caspia took a considerable toll in the combat, the end result was in the Union's favor.

Prime Minister Page addressed the nation on the victory today on television. While the entire country had been sitting on edge, expecting the worst, Page announced the victory over the "invasive forces" and the "eternal defense of our sovereignty." He also thanked Worris for their armed cooperation.

"We have expelled the fleets of a distant country that thought they could do the impossible," Page said, "And they couldn't do that impossible task. Now, Premier Kapadia [of Panjal] should reflect on his reckless decisions and apologize to his country for the damage he has caused to so many families."

Page later clarified, stating, "We didn't want it to come down to this. We offered Kapadia many chances to send his ships home. He persisted, and now he pays the ultimate price."

The site of the battle, having taken place in NGU waters, will be turned into a state memorial. A leak on the National Parks website suggests that the floating monument that will commemorate the site will be emblazoned with an inscription that reads:

"This site is dedicated to the events that transpired on June 1, 2020, in which the cooperative efforts of the Nationalist Gold Union and Worris dispelled a foreign threat. May the hundreds of Union and Worrisian sailors who lost their lives for their continent's sovereignty, as well as the thousands of Panjali sailors who were used as pawns in a petty power struggle, rest peacefully in Heaven."

Mashriq to Join the APA

Following Mashriq's withdrawal from the Euxine-Caspia Pact a diplomat was sent to the McFreedomstani capital city of Shanghai to discuss Mashriq joining the Asia-Pacific Alliance. Mashriq has begun initiatives to grow good relations with the East Asian nation since Prime Minister Mohammad bin Abdul Khaliq took office in March. This is the biggest action Prime Minister Mohammad has taken since he was elected. This marks the beginning of his foreign relations campaign. Along with joining the APA, Mashriq will also be joining the Aurum Union. In short, we will be adopting the gold-backed Rupiah. The process to phase out the Dinar petrocurrency will begin in December, at the end of the FY 2020. In order to meet the minimum gold reserves requirement for the AU, we will be purchasing 200 Tonnes of gold from McFreedomstan for ~$8,873,400,000. The Federal Reserve Vault will be upgraded so that it will be able to hold all the new gold.

​​​Willem op de Haar discharged from duty



Willem op de Haar


The Union Ministry of Defense announced that Willem op de Haar, General of the Afrikaner Weermag, has been discharged from duty and will be forced to resign his office as Governor of Suidwes and Rhodesia.

The stated reason for the discharge was that "op de Haar did not fall in line with the Union government's visions for Africa." No further comment was given.

Op de Haar holds significant influence and power in the NGU-controlled African territories, being the Head of the Presidium of the Kaapbond, General of the Weermag, and Governor of both the Suidwes and Rhodesian Free States.

The firing comes after the failed meeting between Foreign Minister John Paquin and Panjali Premier Kapadia in which the two discussed policy on the NGU African territories.

Kurdish Autonomous State Works to Rebuild

Today, President Ozel Ayhan visited the Kurdish Autonomous State to speak with the local populace there. He began his visit by going to the city of Diyarbakir, where he spoke with the Governor-General of the region. In the mid afternoon, he traveled to many of the rural communities to discuss with them how they felt about the Autonomous State and their relation to the government. He also worked with various charity groups to distribute goods to the devastated populace of the region. Around 5:30, he entered the city of Midyat, the final hold out of the Kurdish People's State. There, he worked to help hand out food rations to the people of the city. He is currently staying the night there and is expected to give a speech there tomorrow.

While the KPS may be gone, the repercussions of their rebellion are not. The short conflict has cost nearly 15,000 lives on all sides of the conflict. Many areas of the KAS have been devastated by the war. The economy of the region has been left in tatters and food has started to become scarce in many parts. Thousands have been left homeless and have been forced to migrate north, where the government has tried to resettle them elsewhere in the country. The government has worked to get supplies into the region to help rebuild it, but many say they are not doing enough. Many people of the region feel that they have been ignored by the government.

A representative of the central government had this to say about the operation:

" We are working hard to get supplies into the region. We have worked to send troops into the region to stabilize the region and help pass out supplies. We are getting thousands of volunteers to come from all across the country to head to the region. Doctors, builders, engineers, electricians, and many other ordinary people are all heading to the region to help. Things might seem bad now, but we are trying the best we can to get the operation running smoothly."

The amount of damage done to the region has also put doubts onto the ability of independent Kurdistan to effectively govern the region. While the so-called "Kurdish Republic" originally stated they wanted independence "within 6 months" it now seems that this time frame would be unreachable. Despite this, they have not backed down on their statement and have said that they will continue working to ensure an independent Kurdistan. Whether the population supports this is unclear at the moment.

The game is set in Ancient Songjaing just a decade after the Ming Dynasty was forced out of the Chinese Empire, during the Tang, Ming civil war. the game focuses on player vs enemy in th form of completing story quests but has player vs player action available as the game features two main factions the Tang and the Ming.
Despite recent issues with both these Dynasties in real life the setting has been well received and the game which costs 3 Yuan a month or 2 if you receive your internet through Renraku has over 9 million subscribers with the number climbing each month.

​Butterfly Swords Online is the first video game to be sold in Songjiang and its success is likely to bring in a flood of other companies who want in on the market. The game has also firmly put Renraku ahead of its multimedia competitor NEONET who is reportedly also working on a game but seem to only be in the early stages of development.

Renraku on the other hand has already begun to work on other game titles intent to stay ahead of NEONET in the Songjiang market.

​​​Paul Philip willing to negotiate with Kaapbond

Paul Philip IV, Leader of the Union, has personally offered to negotiate the terms of the separation of the Kaapbond from the Nationalist Gold Union.

This comes as a diversion from the policy of the Christian Right government, which has chosen to take little action since the firing of Willem op de Haar. Shortly after that firing, the Kaapbond presidium assembled and declared that the Kaapbond would be declaring independence from the Nationalist Gold Union.

After the press conference in which Willem op de Haar announced the separation of the Kaapbond states from the NGU, Paul Philip's father-in-law King Friedrich III of Sudwestafrika was shot and killed. Although the culprit hasn't been caught or identified, Paul Philip assured that the Nationalist Gold Union had nothing to do with his murder.

Although it isn't entirely clear what would be negotiated in a meeting between Paul Philip and President Willem op de Haar, the Kaapbond said they would be willing to host or be hosted.

In other Cape-related news, Willem op de Haar has given his position of the military governor of the Suidwes Free State to Weermag Lieutenant General Schalk Altus and his position of the military governor of the Rhodesian Free State to Weermag Lieutenant General Bill Caaren.

Prussiaholm Recovery

With the war with Vanavoy almost guaranteed to be over soon, The King has issued a decree to begin the rebuilding of South Prussiaholm. The decree, also began a military build-up scheme, including renewing the Naval Development Plan until April 2022 and beginning similar projects for the air force and other branches in the coming years. Military Consul, Adler Nosson said this when he announced the decree;
"Prussiaholm was faced with a threat this year, one that nearly ceased our existence. Territory in the South has occupied and ravaged, and god knows what would have happened if our brave and valiant troops hadn't pushed them back. This cannot happen again. That's the whole point of this process of arming our selves. It is purely with the intent of national defence.

Prisalia Bearer Loan shifts hands!

Upon chatting with the B.U. the Sea Emperor Have decided that it would be wise to sell the bearer loan of Prisalia to the B.U. Empire for the tiny cost of $1 and 20% of the revenue. This was a tough decision as we would have, in time, recuperated the entirety of the loan with the interest. But using clever prowess that our might emperor owns, he determined we would gain much more by getting some of the money now, instead of all the money later.

The Black Sea Railway

We have met with some UCK officials recently and something large has come to our attention. It seems that a "Black Sea Railway" Is being planned. These contacts have disclosed that the railway is planned to wrap around the entire black sea, crossing through Nomiconia, Daciiland, Byzankomenos, and B.U. They have disclosed to us that they have not gotten a response from one nation yet, but they would not tell us which nation that was. We hope that this railway will bring economic prosperity to all involved nations.

In this time of economic turmoil and uncertainty, it can be a difficult undertaking to perceive how the principles of sharing and cooperation are a solution to world problems. The more thorough our analysis, the more we all become entangled a web of examination and analysation, finding no end to its complexity. The more we write and intellectualise, the more we criticise and contest, the more we begin to turn against one another, and our desire for prosperity is pushed further away.

We can no longer create a better world by waging war against those we disagree with. We have gone too far into a society led by tribalism and chauvinism, and the crises we are met with leave no time for incremental reform. The small breakaway communities which abandon this mindset are not enough to reverse our world's current trajectory towards global economic collapse.

The one solution we have left to seek is to unite the people of our planet through goodwill and common interest. Our current world conflicts all stem from the same common interests - but with different approaches creating friction.

The Economic Cooperation Agreement, or ECA, aims to be the means to unite the global community under a common goal: economic prosperity. All signatories of the ECA will agree to work towards this goal, and cease and current or future attempts at economic warfare. The full text of the ECA has been drafted and is set to be released, which will outline all stipulations that all signatories agree to.

I.The Economic Cooperation Agreement is an international agreement which aims to ensure economic stability for all members and the world.


1. If two signatories are to engage in a conflict, an emergency meeting will be held between all ECA signatories to discuss the matter.
2. Nations which are not apart of the ECA are to be treated with the same respect given to all signatories.

II.Signatories of the ECA agree on the following terms:

1. Signatories may not engage in embargoes, blockades, or other forms of economic warfare.
2. Political conflicts between signatories are to be set aside for the common goals of economic stability and prosperity.
3. Hostile or aggressive economic actions against member states will be treated as hostile actions against all ECA signatories.

III. The ECA is to be refreshed in the August of every following year.

1. Nations which seek to join the ECA are able to sign on at any time.
2. If a signatory decides not to refresh their signature in the following August, they will be removed from the ECA with no immediate repercussions.

The Railroad Plan


Building of a railroad between the countries of the Black Sea, Prussiaholm, and Ruthenia has been proposed by the UCK. They believe it is beneficial for an interconnected system and so do we.

After the series of events that caused problems in our city, and the rest of Nomiconia, we have finally began attempts to recreate the Nomiconian economy, and for economy we also need connection. The plan given out to multiple nations by the UCK seems to be a smart idea, boosting both their and our economies. This can provide a quite needed jump start. plans for constructions are not yet known of but we are to hope they come soon.

Railroads may seem quite boosting to our economy, but tax breaks are even better. There have been many corporations drawn into Nomiconia and many small businesses started as a result of the extremely reduced taxes by the government. At this rate recovery to previous GDP is expected soon, with levels also expected to grow after that.

​​​New Worries hit Religious population
The religious population of Nomiconia has been particularly worried over the past months after a pro-Ubizytotskan extremely secular president was appointed temporary. Even though elections are occurring in 2022, the public is still worried reforms will be put in place that may put pressure on those who have a god. The president, Ivan Kolzoff, has been denying his extreme secularism but not many have been buying it. Read more about this on P7.

This morning after hearing about the injustices occurring in NGU our Emperor Dr. Black held a speech declaring "The injustice that The National Gold Union forced down the throat of their dock workers in intolerable. Due to no fault of their own, but due to their maladroit government, they are losing their jobs. The Government should be ashamed of themselves. Fabulous earnings.

Overview/goals

Our expansion to four corners of the earth have been met with some difficulties but with our new ally the B.U. we have managed to get our foot into Europe. But nevertheless successful, we are now able to trade with every continent with profitability. Our goal is to focus on our key marginal trade routes this coming business year. Our new priority 5 goal is to expand our shipping services onto land potentially via drone. Roman C. Janson will be no longer apart of the Croesus bard and Chong W. Lammons who invested/hold more stock, than Mrs. Janson last quarter.



Europe

We are now able to trade with B.U., Walgreens, Zakalistan, and Byzankomenos making our trips to the Mediterranean sea is worth wild. We should see at least 5% increase from the immediate effects next quarter and with focused efforts we should see at least dramatic increase within the second quarter of 2021. Negotiations to ship and get into the oil business with Mashriq has been met with strong resistance. We don't expect to be able to get into Mashriq's market any time soon.



America

The trade between the Americas is booming as demand increases to fill the void NGU cargo ships left. A whole 5% increase from our America HQ was reported as prices of shipping increased. We plan to add 5 more ships here to help fill in the gap. We also plan to acquire NGU ship/port companies laid off workers and as the companies become desperate, buy them out. This is in hopes that when NGU is no longer embargoed we will have a wedge to dominate their trading markets. Our largest profit margins this quarter was Asia-pacific to America trade. Our cruise lines to Standevia are being booked a month on average in advanced.



Asia

Going swimmingly our growth has increased by 2% in these markets. Our largest global profit margin is shipping within the MCfreedomstan Emire. Our project to buy a bauxite mine and aluminum factory in Panjal has been met with some financial difficulties. We suspect we can accomplish this in the next 2 business years. Our University of Goa initiative has been meat with astonishing demand with 742 students already enrolled and beginning next year. Our oil rigs have been activated and are pumping black gold like crazy. We virtually have enough oil that once refined could fuel our entire fleet

We have great expectations about the future, remember the top 8 investors are apart of the Board of Croesus if they so choose so, meaning they will have a direct hand in our government and are payed hansomly.
