Greetings my fellow Byzankomenians, I have a statement to make. Today is the end of the monarchy. Earlier today, I sent my men to the royal palace to officially end the monarchy. It was a largely bloodless coup, the king surrendered almost immediately. He is now in our custody. Along with this, I have worked with several other major military leaders to ensure that the provinces will fall in line today. By the end of today, we should be in control of the entire country. Many of you might be confused right now. Who's in charge? What comes next? You might be asking these questions right now. I'll answer them now.

As of now I, General Ozel Ayhan, am officially in control of the country. I will be working with other military officials to install an official provisional government. Until then, the country will be in a state of Martial Law. The provinces of the country will be reorganized into several military districts as well. This will all be dealt with once the provincial government is officially in place.

I am also ordering the arrest of many members of the monarchist government, from the RMSS to the Ministry of Transportation, I am working to make sure the government is truly in the hands of the people. I have also ordered the release of some of the republicans that Artemis I had arrested.

This will be the end of our talk, Byzankomenians. Keep tuned to your local news stations for more information. I know this all seems confusing right now, but once we get things stabilized you'll understand what is going on.

For too long the imperialist and reactionary state, Byzankomenos, has brutally suppressed our people. They have robbed us of our resources and have brutally exploited the poor of our country. No more, today is a new day for our people and our nation. Today we rise to face up against the imperialist country. Today we begin our resistance. Response to the Kurdish People's State

January 25, 2020

Today,in the early hours of the morning, several hundred armed men entered the Capitol Building of the Kurdish Autonomous Region. The various representatives of the region had gathered to start their daily session. The men entered the debate chamber and preceded to massacre all the representatives. Security would attempt to stop them, however, they were overwhelmed. After this the leader of the men, Bêbaş Kinar, declared the formation of the Kurdish People's State. Not many developments have been made since.

I am here to officially declare the Kurdish People's State a terrorist organization. Along with this, I am ordering the arrest of anyone who declares them self or is suspected to be associated with this organization. Additionally, I will be working with local officials to ensure that the region remains stable. I have also signed an order to send an additional 5,000 troops into the Kurdish Autonomous Region.

The government will continue to monitor and control the situation in the Kurdish Autonomous Region.

Prussiaholm has recognised the People's Republic of Noxtrem from the beginning, meaning it to be a symbol of co-operation and future friendship, trade deals and even potential AEDO membership. However, under Ludwig Schmidt's new liberal majority parliament, many in the Reichsparlement are hesitant to open up trade and other relations with the communist nation. This has also brought light to another thing happening in the world, the rise of communism. In countries across the world Socialism and other forms of leftism are taking form. While the Reichsparlement has made no official statement, it's clear that the general view of the Reichsparlement is disfavourable to communism. Former Prussiaholmer diplomat, Jakob von Hasser, gave us this statement; "Under Ludwig Schmidt's liberal capitalist administration, diplomacy towards left nations will always a little harder".

A meeting was made between Emilia Braun, the diplomat for Prussiaholm, and various representatives of Rutthenia to attempt to decrease tensions between the nations and maybe renew the titanium trade from Rutthenia to Prussiaholm. The meeting, however, went badly. Due to the language difference, and lack of a translator, there was a lot of misunderstanding during the meeting and it ended in Emilia Braun storming out and a Rutthenia representative yelling at her. None the less, this has severely set back the previous tension reduction efforts.

Central Powers Pact Expands, Makes Demands

President Wengu Salbahar of the West African Federation agreed to join the Central Powers Pact after weeks of vigorous debate which yield the creation of the Historical Reclamation Initiative: Along with maintaining stable conditions for the African economy and a network of mutual defense, the Central Powers Pact will seek to re-integrate territories that were lost to "predatory colonial powers" during the "Millennia of Shame."

The West African Federation proudly stated that they and their partners would do everything in their power to reclaim the lost provinces of Equateur and Orientale. The Merinan government made demands of the Comoros, citing the minor fledgling imperial history of the Merinan Empire (1500-1509) prior to colonization by European powers. Axum has doubled down on claims to Southern Arabia, stating that Himyar supporters are "historically illiterate and deeply anti-semitic." Al-Sudan poked the hornets nest by claiming that the border with Zakalistan was drawn by colonial rulers in a deeply unfair manner, depriving them of 150 miles of northern territory. Zakalistan officials have dismissed the claim as ludicrous propaganda.

The Central Powers Pact represents a significant military force numbering in the millions, and an economy to back it if current trends persist. The world anxiously awaits the response of the nations being challenged.

As March 14th, Election Day, nears the main parties have been submitting their candidate for Prime Minister. In this article we'll be explaining each candidate and their stances.

The ASBP's candidate is General Mohammad bin Abdul Khaliq, a 50 year old retired army general turned politician. Mohammad is campaigning on a promise of more women's rights and more modernization of the nation's infrastructure. He is also calling for more privatization of Mashriq's oil mining operations. Mohammad favors leaving the Euxine-Caspia Pact (ECP) as he sees no reason to be in it because of the nations lack of Black or Caspian Sea coastline. He wants closer relations with the East Asian nations, wants to join the Asia Pacific Alliance (APA) and wants to adopt the Rupiah currency.

The Social Democratic Party's candidate is long time National Assembly member Wajeeb al-Salaam, Wajeeb has been a member of the Assembly since 2000. al-Salaam advocates for more funding to social welfare and is in favor of staying in the ECP. He also wants more government regulation in the market, including a state-owned oil company. The most controversial stance Wajeeb advocates for is same-sex marriage and equality, something not many have openly called for in the past.

The Conservative Party's candidate is Faraj al-Kindi, Faraj has been a member of the National Assembly since 2010. He advocates for allowing religion into the government and abolishing social welfare entirely. al-Kindi is also in favor of joining the APA but does not believe Mashriq should adopt the Rupiah. Faraj also calls for more military and police spending.

Military Report

Today, I am going to go over the situation in the Kurdish Autonomous Region as it currently stands. Here is what we know so far.

On January 25th a group of Kurdish Communist Revolutionaries stormed the Capitol Building of the Kurdish Autonomous Region. They killed all the representatives in the building along with the Premier of the region. After this they declared the formation of the Kurdish People's State. Soon after this, various Kurdish members of the armed forces defected and sided with the revolutionaries. Along with this various towns and communities have joined the Kurdish People's State. They have managed to organize relatively quickly and have managed to seize control of a large area of land within the Kurdish Autonomous Region. Here is a map of the territory they control.

This rapid growth of territory is largely due to the fact that one of our generals, Esmerxan Darçîn, defected and sided with the revolutionaries. This has resulted in them Gaining a large amount of territory. Despite this large amount of territory, it is estimated that the KPS have a relatively small fighting force when compared to our own. It is estimated that they have around 16,000 Volunteers mainly concentrated around the capitol region of Diyarbakir. They also have a relatively large ground around Mardin and Midyat. A sizable force exits around lake Van Golu. Their numbers are growing rapidly though, and if a response is not made quick, their small force could balloon into a massive force.

This leads us to the final point; our response. We have sent the 8th and 10th Divisions to the south to deal with this rebellion. This is about 30,000 men. Along with this, we have started launching air strikes on areas of major rebel presence. The nation of Mashriq has also started launching airstrikes against them as well. They do not have much of an air force, making it much easier to safely attack their troops. We hope to have this region fully secured within the next couple of months.

Today, Prime Minister Ivan Vankovich announced the passing of new agreement between Sietsk and Ubizytotska. Starting immediately, those who signup for the Foreign Skill Exchange program will spend time in the other country. Travel expenses are paid for by the governments while private parties will cover the individual's expenses.

Ubizytotskans who are considered impoverished are offered jobs in Sietsk to be paid a wage and learn new skills. Those Ubizytotskans will stay in Sietsk for two years while they build up necessary job and life skills, and return to Ubizytotska to use those skills. In return, Sietskian students may attend the Foreign Exchange program in Ubizytotskan Universities to attain engineering degrees. They will be allowed housing on campus and can return home between terms.

Prime Minister Ivan Vankovich stated "We hope this program will help the youth and impoverished of both countries to become better versions of themselves. As well as create a stronger bond between Sietsk and Ubizytotska".

​Paul Philip IV & I, the Leader of the Union and Vanavoian Emperor, has issued an official decree in the Vanavoian Empire today as head of state to call for new Imperial Senate elections within the country.

The decree comes in a time of intense chaos in Europe as the Vanavoian Imperial Army rushes to the border of Prussiaholm after delivering an ultimatum to the kingdom.

In his first major political act as Vanavoian Emperor, Paul Philip called for the elections to be "free, open, and clear of infringement and intimidation." He called for Governor Abel of European Vanavoy to have his government carry out the parliamentary elections faithfully or "face replacement."

Ever since Vanavoy and the Nationalist Gold Union entered a personal union, the united monarchy was merely ceremonial. However, many pundits are saying that this action was a political maneuver to advance the interests of the NGU.

"The crippling sanctions against the Nationalist Gold Union have obviously come from their support of Vanavoy," said Pablo Molares, a contributor for Laurentia Today. "The Emperor is putting a lot on the line here, perhaps jeopardizing his title."

Free and open elections have not been held in Vanavoy for a considerably long time, and the constitutionality of the hypothetical elections is disputed.

The thunderous battle cry of a hundred thousand men of the Africs glides across the crisp, February air. Clouds of dust miles long drift across the land as these beasts of war charge towards their enemy. For them, this is just part of life, all they have known is war. These barbarians will show no mercy and accept no mercy. They await a warriors death, skewered by the bayonet or shot through the head, they wish only to die with honor so that they may go to Kanu’a, God of Supreme Destruction and keeper of the overworld. Now, they run at the enemy, some holding only pointed sticks or canisters of propane. They fight savagely and without relent, but do not expect to survive. Many belong to the Nbunuatutu caste of central Congolese society. Some of the soldiers on the field today think of when their fathers were in the infamous SHIEET divisions and fought for, many dying in Venice and Calabria fighting mercenaries. Now, however, things have changed. Racism is fading in Vanavoy and the nation is no longer in a state-facilitated, gilded poverty.

For the crime of racism and refusing to accept or negotiate the ultimatum given to them, Prussiaholm is being taken to war after a declaration of such by the Vanavoian Empire. Over five hundred thousand troops were already stationed in Noxtrem, one hundred thousand conscripted and the others hardened veterans. Now that the order has been given, the behemoth has lurched forwards into the enemy’s lines. Accompanying them is a combined force of Vanavoian and Noxtremian planes. A large branch of the Vanavoian Atlantic fleet has split from the main force to aid the North Sea and Channel Fleets in blockading Prussiaholm and raiding Prussiaholm supply ships.

Many White Africans have turned out in large numbers in Wännerstadt to protest the war. The White Africans want no part in some far off European conflict, and this opinion is mirrored by the current Viceroy, Davide Fericci, an Ashkenazi Afro-Italian who has become quite popular by the voting Whites in White Africa. Interestingly, black Africans unanimously support the war as they see it as a way to finally be relinquished from life so that they can pass to the Gods in honor. This has greatly increased racial tensions in the colony and called into question the privileged White rule over the Congo. Kaleki Schwarzmann, a black political activist, has called for black majority to claim rulership over the land. It is unknown what kind of support he has in saying this.

Imperial Department of Defense Defense Report 03/08/2020 Seven days ago, a 140,000 strong force marched into Daciiland. 80,000 Soldiers belonging to the Donets Clan marched into Daciiland from the North, while another 60,000 moved in from more rural areas to capture towns. Nevertheless, they have been dealt a serious blow since they decided to impose on Daciiland's sovreignty. The 80,000 marching on a highway leading south were privy to several hundred 150mm artillery shells firing on them, along with AC-130 and Su-35 bombardments. Their closed ranks during the initial bombardment proved fatal to them. Almost 2,000 of them died in the initial salvo. After the initial bombardment, the infantry broke their mass formation and scattered, taking cover in nearby hills and wooded areas. Where they were again subsequently bombarded with High Explosives. Gas was also used in the less populated areas such as the empty hills. Overall throughout the day, we estimate that ~20,000 of the soldiers marching were wounded or KIA. 60,000 were able to regroup and reconsolidate near the border. The 60,000 who secured small villages along the border, were also subject to mass bombardment. Of course there were some civilian casualties, but the villages have been wiped off the map. Roughly 6,000 of the hostile soldiers in the villages have been killed. With a 12,000 civilian death rate. An infantryman was able to send us a snapshot of the ordinance fired at the Donets clan. After the bombardments, Mechanized infantry forces supported by some heavy armored elements moved to engage the already wounded Donets Clan army. The 60,000 there subject to a mass ambush. Involving a salvo of artillery shells and then an all out assault on their hastily fortified position. Nevertheless they were overrun by our forces in two days. The Donets Clan Soldiers in the villages and the territories surrounding them, were subject to another aerial assault. Seeing as they were equipped for streetfighting against infantry, they lacked AT weaponry. Thus several Merkava IVs were utilized near these ruined rural areas, the infantry were annihilated over the next few days. So far, the Donets clan's entire military force that has marched into Daciiland have either been killed, wounded, or captured. Estimated hostile casualties: ~60,000 KIA, ~50,000 WIA, the rest captured or escaped. Ubizytotskan Casualties: ~16,000 KIA, ~12,000 WIA, Several IFVs and MRAPs were damaged or destroyed. The Battle of Kropotkin has been documented as the bloodiest and most vicious battle in Ubizytotskan history. The area where it took place is now scarred with craters, and stained with blood. Worry begins to spread the nation as neighboring countries and states begin to tense up, war seeming imminent and a very real risk that Port Ivar shall fall into its clutches due to recent alliances made. This situation has driven the Prime Minister to place extra funding into the military and more specifically the Navy. "In these troubling times we must try to protect ourselves so that eventually peace will be able to flow once more through the land." Says Tor Vidersson, Prime Minister of Port Ivar. In other news, talk of replacing the alphabet have been brought to the table to possibly include the Elder Futhark runic alphabet, modified to accommodate more modern sounds. While it has yet to be voted as a replacement it has been ruled to be taught in schools, just in case such legislation does come to pass.

March 8, 2020 Public Release: Atlantic After-Action Report The Union Ministry of Defense, as per its authorities imbued by the law, the Constitution, and His Excellent Majesty The Leader, has conducted several military operations in the Atlantic after the outbreak of war between Vanavoy and Prussiaholm. Following cooperation among the branches of the Union Armed Forces, the Damar, Soldat, and Gelbe Islands of the Vanavoian Empire have been swiftly occupied by the Nationalist Gold Union. The purpose of this operation was to prevent the spread of the war to the Atlantic and beyond. The Nationalist Gold Union is not taking a side in this war, but will be providing security to its territories and other countries nearby. The islands will be subjugated to a military administration with direct rule from Caspia until the war ends. Afterwards, the islands will likely be returned to Vanavoy. Mass buy and sell ships!

We are so proud to announce a new initiative to acquire lots more ship building materials! Our plan is to buy as many ships as possible and sell as many ships as possible at a hire price, this will add massive revenue to our Empire! In addition, it will give us massive ammount of resources to perfect our craft!

Along with this new innitiative Emperor Black wishes to create the worlds best ship university. He wants a place where you learn how to work on ships, build ships, ship logistics, everything related to ships really, even training to be in a navy! The exact location for this magnificant place is still being figured out.

unfortunately a few weeks ago we lost our norway port due to a negotiation failure on our part. This is unfortunate but this will not have any real effect on the Sea Empire. Although, until Prussiaholm war with Vonvoy calms down, we don't have any plans to expand to Europe. Instead we are focusing more on Asia-pacific and america! Our new cargo ships immediately where launch on trade routes between Mcfree and Americas!

We have finished our 20 ocean Fishing boats and begun fishing in the Pacific. So far our several of our boats that have returned brought massive catches! With the newly acquired fish we put some on our cruise lines and states to cut a few food costs and the rest we sold. We have acquired a large profit that will be partially shared with our investors! Each investor will get about $.05 per share! The rest of the money is going to expansion of our fleet.

Embargo Statuses Ministry of Foreign Affairs 3/11/2020 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lifted the embargo on the Nationalist Gold Union following a meeting at the APSIA HQ in Reykjavik. The full embargo on Vanavoy, however, is still in place.
