Blaspheme Law Sparks Outrage

Protests have been erupting throughout Byzankomenos ever since King Artemis I signed into law new blaspheme laws. These laws banned any criticism of Christianity. Any jokes or satire or any form of media that makes fun of Christianity was also made illegal. All religions that are not Christianity are no longer allowed to speak in public or distribute media. Even the houses of worship of said religions are not allowed to show their symbolism.

These are not the only reasons why this bill is controversial. King Artemis I signed the bill into law without the consent of Parliament. The confusing definition of powers of the King and Parliament has caused a great amount of confusion in the government. There is a massive debate over what powers the King has and when he can override Parliament. Many of the powers of the two groups overlap and contradict each other, which causes a massive amount of confusion. It is often stated that the two groups try to "out-loophole" each other when it comes to law. The King gave the following statement to justify his actions.

"Look, I know this is controversial, but you have to understand that what I am doing is legal. I as King have control of the Church of Byzankomenos and therefore I have control of all religious matters. The Church gets to control how religion is practiced in the country be it Islam, Buddhism, and Judaism. With Christianity being the supreme guider of the law of this country, I get to pass this law on the basis of Christianity."

Parliamentary officials say that while Christianity is the supreme guider of law in the country, the King cannot make laws just on the basis that he is the head of the church. They also stated that his law was more than just a "religious matter" but rather a civil rights one.

The final effect of this bill is a major one. On May 30th the Confederation of McFreedomstan announced that they were cutting diplomatic relations with the country. Business across the country took a nose dive and the Prime Minister called an emergency meeting of Parliament. As far as what has been reported, nothing was achieved in that meeting. Later, the Prime Minister met with the King to discuss the matter. Once again nothing was achieved in that meeting. It has been reported though that the King said "Why the **** do we need thous heretics anyway."

This matter proves once again that the King is an incompetent and authoritarian leader. His constant ignoring of experts and his overreach of royal power is enough to prove that he must go. At least that is my opinion on the matter. You could have your own.

Glorious news for our fantastic community! Our majestic community has joined the SOl Initiative. This initiative is to explore SPACE! As such we are proud to present Informare's Sponsered Interstellar Space-Exploration Program. Bill nye gave an amazing speach about our goal and desire to colonize other planets. Our main objective will be mining astroids and colonization of space!



In other news our research department have been studying many different types of bullets over the past few weeks and have figured out how to produce virtually all types of ammunition 25% more efficient and 25% faster and 25% cheaper than ever before! The best part is that the quality of the bullets doesn't deteriorate in the slightest! We have teamed up with GunCo to build fantastic three new ammunition factory for public and military use! Within a month this factory will be up and producing fabulous bullets at a rate faster and cheaper than other countries and will attempt to sell our new supply for revenue to do even more science!


We have made an agreement to build laboratories in prisalia for mutual research! This we expect will increase our science productivity by at least 10% we will be able to do all sorts of new science as we will spend 6 billion Datum to create 4 different facilites. Each will be state of the arch and fantastic.

​Kutuzov Heavy Industries Begins Construction of a New Light Carrier






Kutuzov Heavy Industries has won the contract to construct Songjiangs first carrier though it will not be a super carrier as the naval commission determined that large carriers are a wast of resources and several smaller carriers could do the same job without risking loosing an important strategic asset in one attack.

The carrier is planned to be nuclear, with a length of 261 meters, and 41,000 tons of displacement. aircraft compliment is expected to be 24 fighters. plans for amphibious landing operations have also been included in its design.

Songjiang intends on constructing three of these ships each is expected to take 4-5 years to construct at a cost of 1.5 billion a year per ship during construction. total cost for each ship is expected to be 7.5 billion.

The First Ship has already begun construction in Vladivostok, the second ship is to begin construction in January of 2020, the 3rd in January of 2021.

This is the first part of a program to modernize the Songjiang Navy and allow it to enforce Pacific Alliance policies and defend Allies globally"

A cruiser and destroyer program has also been begun along with a rumored joint project for a anti aircraft submarine program between songjiang and Mcfreedomstan but no details on these are available at this time and Kutuzov Heavy Industries has refused to comment on classified military projects.

Lab Construction Called Off

The Prisalian Science Department, after pressure from the Environmental Department, has called off the construction of Informarian labs. This is because of the environmental issues that they would cause. The Science Department is facing criticism from just about every party other than the Conservatives. The Informarian ships have been ordered to go back to Informare. Now what environmental issues might they cause? Well, the labs were planned to be built close by to a den of Iberian Wolves, animals which are cherished symbols of Prisalia dating back to the ancient pre-roman Iberians. The Environmental Department was worried that the waste from the lab would pose too much of a threat to these wolves. Instead of moving it somewhere else, the Science Department decided to scrap the project entirely.

A Prisalian pirate attack on a large trade ship in the Atlantic has prompted Knight Errant to initiate over 1,000 raids on suspected smuggling, drug production and pirate haven in Prisalia. with the pirates forced to go to ground to avoid the task forces 4 new fast attack ships.

The Prisalian coast guard initially tried to deal with the problem but Knight Errant has placed there leadership under watch and suspicion of criminal activity considering the strength of the Prisalian pirates is largely do to corruption and negligence on there part.

While so far the raids have not actually found the pirates who are likely at sea significant amounts of stolen goods, drugs and good that were brought into the nation without proper taxes being payed have been found as well as weapons cashes for iligal militant groups, and stashes of unreported cash belonging to several key family members of Prisalian crime families who have been arrested on charges of tax evasion, and as persons of interest in at least a dozen criminal cases.

Knight Errants also found dead bodies numbering in the hundreds only half that have been identifiable.

The nations borders are now on strict lock down for anyone leaving they must pass through inspections in Knight Errant is urging the government to make its border controls stricter in order to help combat the rampant cross border crime.

Protests over inaction with Ruthenia, Potential Name change?

A couple months back, Ruthenia border guards attacked a Prussiaholmer border checkpoint, killing 14 soldiers and 31 civilians. The government and military said they wouldn't attack Ruthenia, "but Prussiaholmer will remember." In the present, months after the attack, people are protesting the in the Reichsquare urging the government to get revenge. Many of the signs read, "Avenge our troops! Make the Ruthenians pay." Troop recruitment has also been up because of this, and it's likely Prussiaholm will reach the 500,000 troops milestone soon. Many government officials have privately said that they want to attack Ruthenia, and hopefully for the honour of this nation, Ruthenia will be brought to justice.

In other news, many are suggesting a name change for Prussiaholm. The argument is that geographically, Prussia doesn't take up that much of the nation and as such, shouldn't be most of the name. Some submissions for names include Eeruhmia (or some spelling variation), the United Northern States and Prussia-Scandinavia.

With the situation in Burma-Bangladesh-Bhutan slowly settling as terrorist cells put down their weapons, the time has come for military presence to be reduced. Local city and town governments in both Burma and Bangladesh are to be reinstated within the month of July, along with the eventual introduction of new, Panjali-led provinces for both Bangladesh and Burma. The goal has been set to eliminate military presence in civilian areas by the end of fall 2019, and replace it instead with local police and garrison forces.

IT'S TRIVIA TIME!

That's right, it is Trivia time. Our fabulous community is having our Chair Man hiring event from now until August 1st! For those who don't know how we elect our wonderous leader, the only qualification is that they play our Trivia game that consists of tens of thousands different questions ranging from every topic under the sun within Science: from math, natural science, space science, chemistry, economics, psychology, and hundreds of more topics! They aren't fill in the blank either!The person who answers the most correct will become our fabulous leader, but you only have 5 chances to get a question wrong. On the other hand, you are allowed to skip as many times as you like. But, if you do skip, you won't be able to go back to any question you skipped! For non-community members, we wish to inform you that literally anyone is allowed to play our trivia game for the attempt to become our fabulous Chair Man, regardless of, age, citizenship, or origins. (Just in case some other form of life gains intelligence you don't even have to be human!) For verification that you are in fact the person answering the Trivia, you must go to one of our many trivia outposts in any city of our fabulous community. If you are not located in our community you must sign onto our very secure servers and take the Trivia with a webcam (more information on our trivia website). We are aware some people are horrible test takers, you may either take the test like a standardize test either on paper or computer or you may play it game show style. If you do it on the computer there will be a fabulous person reading you the answer and if necessary someone to type in the answer for you! Of course you many (if you make an account), stop midway at any point and come back later before the deadline! Remember, the creature most correct answers will become our Chairman! As our Chairman, you will be able to be apart of our board and be the leader our grand community looks up too!




Unfortunately, this wonderful event is happening because of something tragic that occurred. Bill Nye the science guy, our most fabulous and first Chairman was found dead this morning on the toilet from NUCLEAR DIAHREAH, the nuclear was not exaggerated, Bill Nye's Diahreah was mysteriously extremely radiated for reasons still being investigated. The Board House due to this was evacuated and will be closed until such a time to be confirmed safe to enter. Other than the radiation the entire toilet was filled to the brim with diarrhea and the Chairman's executive tub and shower, the sinks, and the floor was just covered in the stuff. How a single man can produce so much feces is also being investigated. One possible reason could be attributed to climate change! Bill Nye's funeral will be held on national television in exactly one week from today. This is a tragic event as Bill Nye left us before the finalization of how our community will be structured. However, the Board should be able to finish the little bit that is rest. It is just horrible how Bill Nye died in the middle of the creation of our fantastic and lovely community!

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is proud to announce the creation of Panjal's own Sister Cities Initiative, an international reaching initiative which aims to bring cultures continents apart closer together. A "sister city" relationship is a long-term, cooperative relationship between two cities in different countries through which cultural, educational, business, and technical exchanges take place. It is formalized when two mayors (or highest elected/appointed officials) sign a memorandum of understanding establishing a sister city relationship. Once a sister city relationship is founded, activities are to be organized and implemented by volunteers, local institutions, and municipal employees. A city may have any number of sister cities.

The first sister city relationship, we are proud to announce, is between Mumbai, Panjal, and Mam, Worris. The two cities have already begun to work together on multiple cultural and business exchanges to bond and create a wonderful partnership.

Attempted competition to Sanders? Tech Upstart Flops

At the beginning of this month, start up tech company "Apfel", based in Berlin, released the Apfel 1. The smartphone actually showed great promise, and some (though very few) suspected this could be a future rival to Sanders. However, after almost two weeks of poor reviews and bad sales, it's easy to say that the ship has sailed on the Apfel 1. We interviewed founder of Apfel, Stephan Hobs, about the future of Apfel Corp.

"While the Apfel 1 may have been not as successful as I would have liked, I'm determined to not give up. We're going to be moving towards more computer-based tech, and we may revisit smartphones in the future."

It is true the Apfel 1 failed, but young Stephan shows great promise to be a future pioneer of tech, despite his failure.

Gold discovered in Haiti

Just recently gold and other precious material have been found in Haiti. According to own fabulous DwarfCo. a company who specializes in mining there is just so much gold that could be tapped from Haiti! Dwarfco. isn't simply just expanding their mining facilities to Haiti but due to new innovations, they have figured out how to increase their production by about 10% and cut the cost of mining by 15% by using brand new machine automation technology! This is expected to add tens of billions of dollars to the economy once they build their facilities in a few months time. They plan to add or upgrade over 25 sites in total!

Haiti is already experiencing some dramatic changes as companies have bought land to build on like crazy. Many buildings are being demolished in preparation for building bigger and better new ones. As a result of all this demolition Haiti unemployment decreased dramatically. Already our new part of our great community is experiencing prosperity being fostered!

In other news, our fabulous nation is on its way to create rockets that would decrease the cost of going to space by at least 45%! These new rockets called the Falcon rocket series will accomplish this feat by making most if not all parts completely reusable over and over again! The project is estimated to take a little less than a year before flight tests will be done.

The Nationalist Gold Union must have a plan for the future, a plan for economic and political security, and a plan for global leadership. As your Prime Minister, I have been given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to serve the humble and honest people of this great Union. My government and accomplices have devised a plan for a prosperous and fruitful future. This is the NGU Vision 2023. Transparency and Accountability For the past 2 decades, the people of our country have been manipulated and lied to by many regimes that were seeking to retain power. Secret police, hidden courts, assassinations. It's obvious that there have been far too many shady elements and conspiracies working within the bureaucracy of government. Part of the NGU Vision 2023 is to inform the public on the various wrongdoings by the several deep state element in the previous years and ensure that each branch of the government is held responsible to the people of our Union. The primary step of this plan is to declassify material that has been kept top secret for so long. Within the following months, hundreds of documents belonging to previous secret police agencies will be declassified and released for public consumption in PDF format. Certain extremely sensitive information will remain censored for national security purposes, but otherwise, many previously secret files will be available for public access. The second step of this plan is to publicly disclose all finances of members of government and Senators. Living expenses, food and housing, transportation, vacation. All of these things and the cost of them will be public for the public to view. The wages of your government come from your tax dollars. You deserve to see where that money goes. The third step is to provide a personal annual tax receipt to every taxpayer in the country. This should be self explanatory; you pay taxes, you should know where your coins are flowing in the government bureaucracy. Five-Year Plan The Five-Year Plan, as directed by the Union Ministry of the Five-Year Plan, is planned to conclude in 2023. This plan, devised by minister Ishmael Sieger, is to bring about a fresh, new set of infrastructure projects and employment opportunities for our nation. In fact, such great innovations have already begun. Bullet trains, like the SF-Caspia Line, will allow quick, clean, and simple transport across the Nationalist Gold Union. Partnering with many private enterprises and corporations, the UM5YP will be installing great new infrastructure all across our country, in New England, Cascadia, Vancouver, Rhodesia, and everywhere in between. In the ashes, there are many new opportunities for the distraught populations of these lands. With the creation of the Kaapbond, new intercommonwealth cooperation will be much easier and accessible for our poorer equals in the Cape. The Union government will continue to assist its African citizens in the best ways it can. My administration will help foster and kindle the growing service economy in the Southeast Bantu Free State, help repair the roads and cities of the Rhodesian Free State, promote the untapped tourism industry in the Suidwes Free State and continue to support the Afrikaner Free State in its leadership role in the region. Meanwhile, in Laurentia, our economic support beams should not be solely manufacturing. Plenty of resources are untapped and ready for exploitation in the west, and in the east, there is unrivaled potential for a world-class information and human service economy. The nations of the world exist in a modern and global system of relations and economies. The rapidly shifting borders, allegiances, and governments have made it impossible for natural economic and bilateral developments. If the world is to survive, it must do so in a peaceful state of international cooperation. The countries of the world need to peacefully settle their differences and focus on common, global threats, such as climate change, poverty, disease, and terrorism. The Nationalist Gold Union is not innocent of any crimes, and nor is any other country. Water pipes that bring water to locations all across the country were cracked and dilapidated. Roads were full of potholes, some had holes so big the road was unusable, and bridges were rusting and about to collapse. The Ministry received a $60,000,000,000 grant from the government to fix these problems in our vital infrastructure.

Latvichkan Migration Wave

Thanks to the death of the Khan and the on-going civil war in Latvichka, tens of millions of citizens have been displaced. Nations all over Asia have been experiencing large waves of legal and illegal immigration, with the majority of cases occurring in Ubizytotska and Songjiang. The central Asian giant has detained over 550,000 migrants and is expected to receive another 1,500,000 by the end of the month. The current border war in Songjiang has led to heavily reduced troop presence along the Latvichkan border, making it easy for an estimated 4,000,000 migrants to enter over the past few months. A whopping 20% of the population is predicted to leave the war torn nation by 2020, though that figure does not include possible deportations.

Vanavoian investors contemplate suicide as the market tanks 6%.



War in Eastern Europe. Rising rebel sympathies in Noxtrem. Prussian ambitions of a unified German people. Suspected wet works in Ruthenia. Militarization in Prisalia. The exact climate needed to kill the recovering Eurosphere. Tech, fashion, and agriculture stocks dipped today after Prisalian officials confirmed a 100,000 man recruitment campaign would take place. Vanavoian market analyst, Hans Goldkike, stated that the unprecedented build up in Iberia was, "the spark that will set off the european powder keg." It remains to be seen if anything will come of the event.

Veterans Rally in Caspia, Demand Benefits



NGUND 323rd Rifle Company marches for PTSD awareness.



The numerous conflicts that the NGU has taken part in required skilled men to do unspeakable acts of cruelty at the request of a constantly changing chain of command. Many combat veterans have been discharged with chronic pain, limb loss, and PTSD plaguing their lives. An estimated 20 veterans in the NGU, and 235 worldwide, commit suicide each day. Of those 20 veterans a day, 60% come from the Imperial regime. The numerous cases of chemical and conventional attacks on civilian centers, and targeted civilian bombing created an entire generation of young adults with immense rates of PTSD. Today survivors of the regime changes, and veterans of recent conflicts alike marched on Caspia demanding free pain medications, counseling, and artificial limbs. An estimated 22,000 turned up for the protest, and other events in the Alta-California and Hudson regions have been organized.

Kapadia gets visit from Mashriqi King - 7/16/2019

On Friday, King Hamzah II of Mashriq arrived at Benazir Bhutto International Airport in Kushab. The King was greeted by the Executive Guard of Panjal, who then escorted him through the airport, where swaths of reporters and onlookers crowded around to get a glance at the King. The King, perhaps unknown but months ago, has attracted massive attention in Panjali media over the past few weeks after his cameo appearance in [i]Dunkirk 6.[i]

The King's visit was not as a movie star, though. Hamzah had arrived to meet with newly elected Premier, Vinod Kapadia. The two met at the Premierial Estate Saturday morning, and had an informal press conference, where the two got to know each other over a traditional Panjali breakfast, including hot masala chai and sali par edu. King Hamzah and Premier Kapadia briefly discussed closer diplomatic cooperation between Panjal and Mashriq, along with the possibility of a trade alliance or agreement between the two as well. After the breakfast, the two went on a guided walking tour through some of the most prominent governmental landmarks in Kushab, and then returned to the Premierial mansion, to meet behind closed doors. In the evening, the two went to Chaaye Khana, a fine dining establishment in downtown Kushab, for dinner.






The following morning, King Hamzah went off on his own, meeting with several other legislative politicians in the State Assembly building, taking pictures, and even in one case, a selfie (see left.) Hamzah also, of course made his way over to many public locations to meet with his recently established fanbase. Multiple locations were gated off within Kushab to ensure the safety of the King.




After the eventful two days, King Hamzah finally headed back to the airport and onto his private jet on Sunday morning.

A decent weekend getaway, if you ask me.

Scotlands independence!

Freedom! After a millennia of being controlled by the British, Scotland breaks free of it's ties to the British. A massive parade will be held in Glasgow a few days from now, where we will celebrate our new government staff and of course, the pride of Scotland. Multiple reforms have been made in our educational branch, and there will be more support for the people, leading to better income for lower class citizens, and moderate taxes for the wealthy. All in all, Today is a glorious day for Scotland.
