-Mindwalker-
The Black Hand wasn't ones to look a gift horse in the mouth and when the change over happened the Black Hand agents also went into looking into buying up some of the surplus AKM market partly to get them off the field but partly to restock the Black Hand's also ever growing and shrinking AKM stockpile. The AKM and all it's variants were like currency to the rebel world, and for Nod it was a currency that was always useful for their efforts, both in trading and equipping rebel groups to even arming their own third tier reserve troops in hostile or divided Nod areas across the world. Even more importantly due to events going on in neighboring nations, Nod soon found another use for those AKMs.

The ending of the Drug trade was an unfortunate experience but Nod was able to deal with it, even as the drug production centers closed though Nod moved in with offers to some of the former pharmaceuticalists. Nod wasn't eager to let their talents go to waste, even though the Yaba trade in Mindwalker was shutting down it didn't mean Nod couldn't find a way to continue it somewhere else someday, or put their chemical talents towards more exotic or even benign drugs. The sale for the final shipment was agreed and split between the Black Hand and the United Brotherhood for a fine split on the bill as well, Nod happy to share the last of the spoils with their worthy allies.

-Nod Mindwalker territory-
As things continued to die down more and more, Nod continued to use their influenced provinces as a staging ground for further efforts in creating a lasting stable Nod influence inside Mindwalker, local employment soon rose to match the prices of all the other factions and continued training and passive indoctrination was well at work at the civilian population in the Nod held regions. People were hired, deals were made, and over time the Black Hand continued to focus their efforts at creatin a brand loyalty amongst the people through continued reliable service and payment, keen to make sure that they were able to maintain parity with Kafka, MPOV, and whatever other factions lingered inside the nation.

The rebuilding continued as well, Nod working hard to continue to buy up and seize land and in turn find ways of turning that land productive, smelters were brought in around the mines, supply lines were built up, and slowly but surely plans for factories and industrial centers were being prepared and arranged, Nod's ability to rapidly ship in parts of practically any kind of per-fabricated building serving to speed up the process along side the deployment of several more Engineering divisions both to shore up the northern border and slowly rebuild and improve the local infrastructure.

-Mindwalker coast line-
With the truce in place Nod also continued work to secure their created port and the nearby rebel held island that the Black Hand continued to use as a staging and supply base. A second Marine Brigade was brought in to reinforce the front even as Nod worked out their plans to secure the peace, and put down any lingering insurgencies looming inside both territories. A sudden twist of events though soon proved to cause Nod to prepare for deployment in an entire new part of the region... For though Mindwalker was supposedly moving towards the path to peace, other nations in the regions weren't so lucky and so it appeared that the Black Hand would have to move once again, to either save things... or make them worse.

Mindwalker, Agents and Nyevzky

It had been some time since eight Nyevzky GSO agents had been captured by Nod and taken to a prisoner of war camp which was obviously controlled by Nod. In the prison camp, agents had been separated from Han's prisoners. However, sometimes the agents crossed their eyes with some other prisoner of war. They were often interrogated, kept "relatively" in good condition, however they were still prisoners and were under the control of Nod.Nod's men often contacted Mark Pseto, the leader of the agent division. Nod's soldiers talked to him and often let him leave the field for brief periods of time to help Nod and observe his activities to make him believe that Nod was there to help.Ekaterina Sabeliko had been hospitalized and was under the care of Nod's doctors, who practically saved her life. In the last few days, she had regained consciousness and tried to get up and escape, however it was easily stopped by the doctors of Nod, who recommended (for the health of her) to remain at rest.

While this was going on, Nyevzky's administrative chamber was moving quickly, President Agustina A. Nidrapov had assumed the responsibility of bringing the agents safe and sound to her home and had already had several headaches to devise a return plan. the agents to Nyevzky. She no longer cared about the agents' report, but cared that they returned home. However, the seven remaining agents who were released by MindWalker, could elaborate very complete reports about the movements that had made the soldiers of Nod and not only that, but they made reports detailing the steps and the facts of the war. However, the reports did not include "Future actions of Nod", but some strategic movements that Nod had already done.

The remaining agents were now gathered in a small farm, among them was Ekaterina's sister, Merlina Sabeliko, a year younger than her sister. The leader of this division was Joel Patrinek, 35 years old. In this meeting, the agents would share some of the information they got, in addition to some other testimony about Nod and other incolucrated factions. After having spent 40 minutes of the meeting, we talked about the captured agents. They could not ask for Nyevzky's military troops to land on MindWalker, since it would be a direct military intervention, nor could they return without the agents and attacking Nod would generate another war. Then, Joseph got up from his chair and watched the other agents, with a serious look he spoke some cold words.

Joseph Patrinek: Good work team, they have proven to be fast, efficient and discreet. However, we must devise a plan to free the agents. I thought it might be a good idea to kidnap some man from Nod and find out where our teammates are.

Merlina got up from her chair and added.

Merlina Sabeliko: Before doing so, we must plan carefully so as not to make the same mistakes as them, even though I do not understand what they could have done wrong.

Agent Fernand Yeka: The last contact we had with them was when Nod captured them in a barn, I assume Nod would have been lucky, I do not think they made any mistakes.

Joseph Patrinek: Those details are more than obvious, MindWalker is currently going through a period of peace, but do not trust Nod.

Merlina Sabeliko: I think one of us should try to negotiate with Nod for the release of the agents. In that case, I offer myself.

Joseph Patrinek: Okay, we'll talk about that in private, Merlina. The rest can be removed, the orders are simple; Simulate a civil life until I contact them, if all goes well, we will return to Nyevzky without negative consequences.

Agents leave the farm with the exception of Merlina, preparing for when to negotiate. For an hour, Merlina and Joseph discussed how to contact Nod. They thought whether to do it by force or to do it peacefully, however, the final decision was made by Joseph. The plan would be simple; Capture a man from Nod and interrogate the man until last instances. Finally, this would tell you where the Nyevzkyan agents are (if they are still alive) and they would try to negotiate with Nod by leaving written messages to the captured man.

(Sorry I've been sick the past week)

-Mindwalker-
Despite the peace Nod hadn't forgotten about the possibility that there were other Nyevzky agents out there, it's just that with the way the war had been going and the risk of greater threats, the Black Hand had downgraded them to being practically a non threat compared to the numerous other spies that were likely lurking and infiltrating their territory. After all the Black Hand had lots of enemies and part of making so many enemies meant dealing with everything from old enemies, forgotten allies, to freelance spies and reporters looking for the next big scoop. A network of informants and local gossips served as a good source of early warning for Nod, so when the Nyevzky agents met up, there was at least one Nod official alerted to it. However for the most part he did nothing, a quick check showed that all of the people involved, only a few of them had been marked as suspicious. Still security measures were in place as it was and the agents would find confronting a "Lone" Nod agent to be even harder than last time... due to risk of Han infiltrators and the corporate stooges running around trying to buy up the land, the Black Hand had multiple checkpoints set up along all the major and even some of the minor roads. Usually stocked with at least a platoon worth of soldiers. Easiest way to get contact would be to talk to one of these guard stations...

For the most part the more covert Nod Agents weren't as active now, with the 'peace' coming into play single truck patrols were replaced with convoys, mostly to give the troops something to do to keep their minds active.

All the while the meeting was prepared... sure Nod was able to secure quite a bit more territory, but would it be enough to appease the other factions? Time would tell.

MindWalker and Nepal
August 1st

Nepal was sucked up some of the glut of AKMs that was now available. There was this stigma and rural lore, that the 556 was for wounding and 7.62 was for killing. A lot of buyers looked at the TKB and saw it as: "ugly", "strange", and "uncertain". Despite this, some looked at the finish and what was said about the trial weapons, and they took interest in them. At 600 dollars heads were turned, but at 500 dollars buyers who might never be in the market for an assault rifle at all were looking. TKB was looking at 20% of the AK market, with something close to four hundred thirty-five thousand sales expected in Nepal over the next few months or year. A lot of these sales could be explained, but some of them were very clearly Yeren citizens hoping over the border and filling out paperwork. There was a reserve system set up in Nepal already, and the trenches were already being dug to keep the Han out.

In MindWalker, the market was much smaller for AKs and TKBs, but all of the invested capitol and international companies showing up, meant there was a good bit of spending on security forces.

The other buyer for Yaba was already pushing for 3.5 dollars a pill, just like that, almost as if in some ploy to hedge out competition, or as if supplies were drying up and shooting up price. The suppliers were quick to point out that making this stuff was very dangerous, and a lot of the chemicals had to be produced locally or smuggled in. However, while this was happening, the supply of Yaba was shooting back up for some reason. There was now 1.2 billion pills for sale, and the price of the other bidder was locked at 3.5.

Rumors were also barely going around, but they were, that Controlled Relief Medical Supply was selling a very powerful pharmaceutical to a handful of trusted, but very powerful buyers. Pricing was said to be something close to two hundred or a thousand dollars for "bulk industrial use". Another source for buyers was their own insurance company covering the single, double, or triple use of the medication to a user. It wasn't going to be prescribed and instead people were going to get slips to turn in, at some kind of appointment at CRMS.

Finally, with the rising power of outside influences and their ideas in MindWalker, there was what appeared to be the rise of political parties. With the coming era of the vote, it would be time to appeal to voters for who would run specific areas and specific departments. The most important positions were elected, but many of the minor positions and the coming group of representatives, those who sat near the War-Lords, were possible to elect by a percentage of the population.

MindWalker and Nepal
August 2nd

A simple AKM with simple black polymer furniture. It wasn't quite the same furniture used in the M16 or the glass-filled polyamide used in AK-74Ms, but it seemed to work and look just fine. The bolt color was too shiny, almost the color of a AK-49/Type-56; which was a bit troubling. The lack of a muzzlebreak or flashhider was also troubling, but the operation of mounting one on wasn't that hard. The weapons appeared to shoot 2.5 MOA groups, much like a PSL, were around 500 dollars each, and existing in the numbers of hundreds of thousands. This "UVF AKM", was being considered and trialed by Nepal, along with various corporate security forces.

The same suspicious black market interests that were moving the UVF AKMs into the market, were interesting in offering a wide range of 8mm Mauser hunting rifles, along with PSLs. Some found it quite odd that a few marketers showed up at Black Hand holdings to hand out flyers on the amazing prices for PSLs. Someone had to be behind this.

Han Controlled Tibet
August 2nd

It was possible to move things in and not have them get noticed by all of the factions in the area, but it was difficult to move 50 T-14s by air and not have someone notice or be able to figure out what was happening. A satellite got some pictures before it was forced to move away by a few rogue satellites moving towards it. One of the tanks had a mysterious flag on it being removed.
