Five years ago, the country of Eisenven fell into anarchy, due to the corrupt and insane monarch. His insane taxation policies leading to millions starving, and thousands more worked to death in the mines and factories. Eventually society broke down, with the incompetent, and comparably small military unable to secure the vast territories of Eisenven, they retreated to the capital "Stadtung" the only industrialized city on the land mass. Looting and mass violence soon followed, until eventually society reorganized itself with various self sufficient communities, villages, and homesteads making up the survivors.
The Emperors forces soon slowly began reincorporating these independent farmsteads back into the Empire, but with the horrors of his previous policies still fresh in their minds, most rebelled. With the power vacuum left over from the Eisevenian militarizes withdrawal from most of the country, two paramilitary forces have arisen, both with the the goal of taking Eisenven for themselves. While the Empire has begun a crusade to reclaim its lost lands.
The three factions are now locked in a brutal power struggle, and now look across the sea for allies...

Eisenven Empire
Ruled by the insane monarch "Francis Alnbach" the Imperial forces hold the only industrialized city on the landmass, alongside the only airfield. They are hated by most of the population, and rule through fear and terror, enslaving those who resist. And leaving vast, baren swathes of land due to the constant mining of rare earth minerals that the Emperor sells to foreign markets to further enrich himself. They have a a small detachment of 500 T-72 tanks bought from foreigners, but no navy or air force to speak of. The army is no better equipped than the guerrillas they fight, wielding cheaply made soviet equipment like AK-47's and RPG's. Their goal is to retake the surrounding lands for the Emperors continued exploitation.
Economically speaking the Empire is a basket case, enslaving the proles and forcing them at gunpoint to mine, or farm, and taking pretty much everything. "similar to how some Warlords in Africa operate" it wasn't so bad before Francis, his father being a just and noble ruler. But the constant inbreeding of the nobility has caused the current monarch to be born thoroughly insane, having already killed all of his siblings and family to secure his power base, there is no heir.
The Empire offers those who join it in crushing the rebels the following.
1. The opportunity to mine and log in Eisenven free of charge
2. A large shipment of minerals every six months
3. A large shipment of slaves every six months.
4. Permission to dump nuclear and chemical waste into the countries forests.
Volker Army
A revolutionary organization formed by a collective of foreign born intellectuals, the Volker army seeks to establish a Marxist-Leninist Vanguard state, with their leader as dictator. Lead by "Zavad Steinberg" the Volker army travels from village to village, preaching the message of communism. Those who join them are protected and taxed, while those who refuse are put to the sword for being traitors to the revolution. Like the other factions they are equipped with a collection of soviet made equipment.
The Volker army is expanding north east, their strategy being to takeover the Einheit brigade, and use the extra resources they loot to destroy the Empire. They are a mobile guerilla army, surviving off the land and looting. Their main advantage is surprise, ambushing enemy convoys, leaving IED's, and committing terrorist attacks on government buildings. Organized in cells of up to twenty people, they hide in caves and friendly farm houses when not out fighting. When the war is over they plan a five year plan to industrialize and collective the economy quickly.
The Volker Army offers the following to those who help them win the revolution.
1. Trade between fellow Communists
2. The knowledge that you further the cause of the revolution.
Einheit Brigade
A nationalist group founded by "Arick Schafer" the Einheit Brigade seeks to to establish a unique, guild based, form of Fascism created due to the the unique needs of the Eisevian people. They are much more direct than the Volker Army, traveling from village to village and giving them protection" whether the inhabitants like it or not" in return for food, while in their occupied villages the Fascists spread their propaganda, attempting to gain as many volunteers as they can get. The Einheit Brigade's strategy is a defensive one, using massed RPG and AK fire alongside heavy defenses to repel attacking communists and imperialists from their strongholds, they plan to bleed out the enemy in siege warfare, and eventually build up enough forces to takeover the Imperial capital. They're organized in companies of 80 men each, which can then separate into 4 cells of 20 men if need be.
When the war is over the Einheit Brigade plans to establish a militarized, guild based economy, Where the peasants are given work under a "commanding officer" or master of their craft "say blacksmithing, or mining" this would be organized on a local basis "much like it was during the middle ages" and would be used to rebuild and industrialize slowly, but with minimal suffering on the people and environment.
The Einheit Brigade offers the the following
1. Free trade between our nations.
2. A military alliance "we will join you as allies in any future RP"
3. We will pay for any military expenditure spent during the war
RULES AND NOTES
1. Keep it small scale, most battles in this should be in the hundreds, not giant WW2 scale battles. Send at the most twenty thousand men "which is how many the US sent to Iraq" imagine how wars are fought in the middle east, this is similar to that.
2. I will control the three factions listed above.
3. Look at the map, you can choose which landing point "port town" to land at by boat, if you join the Empire you can land at the capital by plane.
