Kamanskian Downfall [OOC|MT-PMT|Open]

It has been 10 or 13 years since the Kamanskian civil war on 2017. The whole nation have been devastated by the effects of the fighting between the five factions of Kamansk, the communist government, the democrats, the fascists, the christians, and the nationalists. After some months of fighting, however, the government gained the upper hand, defeating the religious first, before moving on the the fascists, and then defeating the democrats, whose capital had been weakened by attacks from those who supported the government.

So here it is now, a unified Kamansk, with the old government on power. However, the government is a totalitarian Soviet-esque dictatorship. They clamped down on any rebellions hard, either by brutally putting down protests and riots, or capturing dissidents with their secret police, either disappearing, executing, or sending them to the gulags. They have also started a new plan to rebuild and become stronger than ever, with emphasis on the economy, military, and security. In fact, 10 to 13 years after the Civil War, the nation have rise up again, stronger and better than before, with a status almost equal to that of the Soviet Union. However, something will later happen, shaking the nation to it's core.

As it turned out, the democratic faction, the Kamanskian Democratic Organization (KDO) have resurfaced. After the civil war, everyone who was a member of the faction that was unfortunate enough to be unable to escape out or captured were put through forced labor. The surviving members soon gathered their powers on foreign countries, rallying nations to support them and condemn the government, as well as receiving weapons and training from the countries. They only announced their renewed existence 10 to 13 years later after the civil war, where they will join the military of foreign nations to invade Kamansk, starting on the city of Arkhangelsk.

Welcome to this RP. This RP is a continuation of the Kamanskian Civil War RP, made a year ago, for the Angel's Alliance, though anyone is free to join. There will be two sides to support, the People's Republic of Kamansk (government) and the Kamanskian Democratic Organization (rebels). General Wallace Labern buried his face in his hands and sighed, waiting for his suboordinates to confirm what he had just heard. It sounded absurd, the Atkemrians heading into another war they couldn't win. But when Jupiter Pact troops had invaded one of the Commonwealth's neighbors, the reality of the situation had became much more tangible to the quiet country, and Vijiers himself had requested some sort of attention to the matter.
He looked up at the two officers standing in front of his desk.
Finall, one of them said, "...Yes, and the Exodians are getting involved, they are Atkemri's ally after all."
Wallace groaned, "And with Northern Poland poking the bear, we're no doubt going to be feeling this one."
The General leaned backwards and asked, "Did we get word from the civvie agencies in Africa yet?"

The two officers looked at each other.
"Yes, they want to stay."

"STAY?!" Wallace stood up and shouted, the officers flinched at his sudden outburst. "What, do those idealistic idiots think they're invincible? They'll get killed!"

"Well, I guess they will unless we do something..?" One of the officers suggested, with a somewhat hopeful tone.

"I suppose we could. Send word to the IOF, I want the 82nd mobilized for operations in Africa. Their commander may be young, and as full of that propaganda as the rest, but he knows what he's doing."
The two officers nodded and quickly left the room, General Wallace ran a hand through his receding hair, giving out a long sigh.

Turner Aid Camp

The Turner Aid Camp was one of the largest humanitarian facility in Africa run by Purnelaw, consisting of multiple prefab buildings, roofed with solar panels as to not draw from the municipal power grid. It was usually relatively peaceful there, but with the war beginning to get into full swing, thousands of wounded civilians were being shuttled to and from the campus.

The entirety of the Gagium navy was in Port New Orleans, situated off the Mississippi river and still recovering from the just-ended Caribbean wars (Although one could argue that the Xanadarian-Gagium war was just a continuation of it). The mostly swampy terrain along the coast of Gagium would give any landing forces some trouble alone, but the Gagium monarchy had ordered for coastal guns, kinetic and laser, to be constructed along the coast some days after Gagium declared war on Aureumterra.

Inland, nearly a half of the Gagium airforce was massed at several airbases to intercept any fighters. They would fight until the last fighter is downed under the banner of Gagium to prevent their homeland from being occupied by any foreign powers, especially the Jupiter Pact and their allies.

The Gagium army was rapidly being mobilized to the border of Xanadaria and the ocean. Every division available was rendered combat-ready and rushed towards their designated locations, where they would take up arms against the Xanadarian army and their allies to defend their homeland, and fortify. Significantly more forces were placed along the eastern border and the border of Texas than along the Western border, providing that the more difficult terrain would assist in the defense of Gagium.

Anti-aircraft guns and equipment were being set up around major population centers as fast as the Gagium government and army could manage, with dis-used factories being commissioned for military production of defense armaments.

The Exodian message was quickly relayed from the military office in New Orleans to the High Command, where a group of generals and officers urgently wrote a reply and sent it, non-encrypted, to Exodia.
