11 Neo-Kuomintang Rebels Shot Dead

NEO-MANILA, PRPAS: The Sixth Administration of the Pan-Asiatic States has just confirmed the successful military raid on a terrorist compound, near the coast of New Thailand. The compound was used as an active Forward Operations Base by the Neo-Kuomintang Fascist Party- a political party outlawed for its illegal and extremists acts against the Sixth Administration.

After months of guerilla fighting all across the Austronesian territories of the Pan-Asiatic States, practically a stalemate, a major raid has finally scored yet another victory for the Pan-Asiatic States Armed Forces.

The manhunt began earlier this week when an anonymous caller reported suspicious activity by a State Arms Manufacturer in Hanoi. Homeland Security eventually tracked down the evidence to illegal support of the NKFP through unsanctioned supply drops on behalf of the said suspicious distributor. Authority was then passed on to the Bureau of Intelligence, and it was categorized as a Vice Investigation case.

The breadcrumbs lead back to their FOB in the rural jungle-coast of New Thailand. The exact location has been undisclosed by the Sixth Administration, for purposes of National Security. However, since then, the issue has raced some serious debates over Compulsory Gun Ownership and whether or not the State should more tightly regulate their distributors.

Annual Winter Exercise of the Defence Forces a "Great Success"

Vesimaa, PULS - Reported by the Oblii News Network - The People's Commissariat for Population Security and War of the People's Union of Letwinist States has issued a statement regarding the now complete annual winter exercise of the Union's territorial ground and air forces.
The exercise, which included the Jaeger regiments of four states and respective armoured as well as air support is part of the Commissariat's initiative to ascertain the perpetual defensive readiness of the Union's Defence Forces. After previous runs of this exercise had shown up specific flaws in both logistics and inflexibility when dealing with certain weathers in both the Letantanian and the Mataskuii territorial forces, the Commissariat, referencing observing officers and the respective territorial headquarters, officially sees these problems eradicated and the defensive capabilities at "an all-time high".

The annual winter exercises in the People's Union of Letwinist States were introduced in 1989 to analyse the defensive capabilities of the southernmost states' territorial defence forces. Taking place at varying times from November to February, the territorial forces' individual capabilities, cooperation with other territorial units, cooperation with the Union's guard units as well as all-Union logistics are put to the test.

Analyses of the past exercises had criticised both logistical shortcomings on an all-Union and inter-state level as well as the ability of territorial units from the Mataskuii Federal Letwinist Council Republic (FLCR) to take advantage of unfavourable terrain and unfavourable weather conditions. With the Union's territorial defence doctrine relying greatly on precision strikes and the use of friendly terrain to block enemy advances or negate numerical advantages, the People's Congress and the Commissariat-General had voiced great dismay at this appaling hole in the all-Union defensive strategy. Further, senior officers had registered a lack of coordination and what was described as an "unclear" chain of command when territorial units cooperated with the all-Union Letwinist Guard Regiments.

According to the Commissariat for Population Security and War, these previous problems have been resolved. Future exercises would be designed to further develope a constructive cooperation between territorial units and the all-Union Special Weapons Department, most notably the use of gas as a defensive last resort.

In this case, the exercise took place from the 25th of January and lasted to the 2nd of February, involving two Guard Regiments as well as multiple Jaeger, Armoured, Mechanised and Air units from the Mataskuii FLCR, the Letantanian FLCR, the Padewin LCR and the Ostwege LCR. During the operation, units exercised utilising existing defensive emplacements and mapped chokepoints, as well as needing to find optimal positions at moments notice to test our soldiers' resourcefulness. As usual, the exercise took place along the Matskuii border and the Lahivintoori neck leading onto the Oblii Peninsula.

Premier Jackson Le Pen, while touring around Provinci’s capital city, was shot in the chest while inspecting a police station in the southern half of the city by a disgruntled police officer. Mark Svitz, 33, had recently been put on administrative leave following allegations that he had abused several inmates at Provinci State Correctional Facility.

At this time, we are unsure of Premier Le Pen’s condition. Updates will be released when we learn more.

People's Administration "Shocked" by Attack on Provinci's Premier

Vesimaa, PULS - Reported by the Oblii News Network - The People's Commissariat for Foreign Relations and Trade has voiced its great dismay at the attack on Premier Le Pen in the Socialist Republic of Provinci.
Such "unfounded aggression" against a "devout servant of the people" should not be tolerated and the background to the attack found out as soon as possible. The appropriate People's Committee has offered support through the People's Police and the all-Union criminal institute.

Days after the attack on Provinci's Premier (the Proletarian Sentinel reported on the incident), authorities still have not released an update on the health of the highest servant of the People within the Socialist Republic.

Comrade Secretary for Foreign Relations and Trade, Oliver Jogi, voiced his condolences to the Premier's family and friends in a press conference earlier today. Visibly shaken, he wished strength unto Provinci's administration and populace in this time of uncertainty. He further condemned the attack harshly, calling it a "barbaric" act on the grounds of "the lowest of motives, socially completely unacceptable".

The Commissariat-General also issued a written statement, illustrating the Commissars' and the Secretary-General's "shock [and] dismay" at the assassination attempt.

In response to the situation, the Council of People's Commissars, the People's Union Secretariat, has openly offered to aid the Socialist Republic of Provinci to conduct investigations on the subject, should the local administration see such measures as prudent.

This would go as far as posting members of the Letwinist States' People's Police on Provinci territory or having members of the all-Union criminal institute aid in the analysis of both psychological profiles or physical evidence. The statement of the Commissariat-General stated the People's Union's will to "aid our friends by all means possible in this time of need" and reaffirmed a close friendship and cooperation between the People's Union of Letwinist States and the Socialist Republic of Provinci.

Secretary-General Creates Politburo Executive Committee

Xao Jian City, PRH: Government sources confirm Secretary-General Zhou Jian II has established the Executive Committee of the Politburo of the PRH, which centralises the power of the Politburo into 3 members.

The Haeraelian Government Press Department reported early this morning of a radical change to the structure at the the top level of the Communist Party of Haeraelia. In an unprecedented move to centralise power, Secretary-General Zhou Jian II has created a new Executive Committee of the Politburo (ECP) of the PRH, which consists of three members all loyal personally to the leader himself.

Min Wailo, Xin Guodang and Deng Shaocho have been appointed to the positions of Executive Commissar of Home Affairs, Executive Commissar of Foreign Affairs and Executive Commissar of Defence in the new ECP respectively by SG. Zhou Jian II to control the growing disobedience of the Politburo. The changes will give greater authority to the three members within the Politburo itself as well as the power to make decisions for their respective areas whilst the Politburo is not in session (the Politburo of the PRH meet monthly).

The changes were introduced to 'increase the efficiency of the Politburo at making critical decisions' according to the Haeraelian government, however in reality were likely implemented to reduce the influence of the 'Collective Four' in the Politburo, who wish to see control of the CPH placed into collective leadership rather than the Secretary-General, all four members voted against the proposal.

Changes to the Party code can only be made with a majority vote in both the Politburo and Central Committee, which passed 6-4 in favour and 57-43 in favour last night at an emergency Party meeting called by SG. Zhou Jian II. Many members of the CPH owe their positions to the Secretary-General and so vote according to his wishes anyway.

This elimination of threats to his power by SG. Zhou Jian II highlights his strength and security as leader of Haeraelia, a feat which has not been achieved since SG. Qing Jian's premiership from 1953-1979, known as the 'decades of devotion' due to the absolute loyalty to the Secretary-General demanded by SG. Qing Jian. Many believe this display of power may be the prerequisite to a purge of the Party ranks and will secure the power of SG. Zhou Jian II for years to come.

Victory in Louisiana! Gagium Army in Full Retreat!

Two months ago, the States congressionally entered the Xanadarian-Gagium Conflict, to aid Xanadarian Forces reclaim their forsaken lands and illustrate support for the economically aggressive nation. With coalition forces seizing the Imperial Capital of New Orleans, and Asian forces advancing through Arkansas and Texas; the "War for America" may finally come to its much anticipated end!

The 32nd "Leon" Heavy Artillery Division has finally assembled, positioned hiding in plain sight. Black skies consumed the desolate wasteland as supplies are airlifted from the P.A.S Aquino. Upon confirmation of the coordinates telegraphed by High Command, the 32nd bursted a brutal long-range strike on New Orleans and its surroundings, eliminating any chance of counter-resistance.

Hours later, Coalition forces stormed the city. With continual Naval Barrages from the Empire of Xanadaria, the Gagium Army has confirmed to be on full retreat. On the southern continent however, it appears that Kendorian Forces have begun mobilizing near Mexico to reinforce their Gagium allies.

By now, over half of the total Kendorian forces deployed have already arrived in Mexico from mainland Kendor. With that amount, the decision was made to have the half of the total fleets to go into the Panama canal, where they travelled to the eastern side of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. Kendorian Forces stationed in Mexico built up fortifications a week later, when scouts, rangers, and spies reported the movement of Coalition troops through the country. However, in a bold stroke of action, the Kendorians did not move anywhere, but stayed in the location until the coalition troops crossed into Gagium, knowing that Mexico was technically neutral.

The Pan-Asiatic States Armed Forces hope to secure a decisive victory before Kendorian reinforcements blockade the blitzkrieg advance of the Coalition Army. The Airforce, deploying from carriers positioned near the Gulf of Mexico; struggle to keep air superiority with the P.A.S Nueva Ecija recently being bombarded by the rouge Gagium Air Force. Frontline troops are low on supply, yet corvettes are expected to convoy additional munitions next week; arriving from Neo-Manila Harbour.

Secretary-General Garrick Mensenares of the Pan-Asiatic States emphasizes that this holy crusade is a necessity for the International recognition of Socialism. The Sixth Administration calls on all Allied-Nations of the States to aid Xanadaria together in this conflict, to finally halt the aggressive Constitutional Monarch regime which has continuously oppressed the citizens of Gagium. With economic partitioning post-war, spoils would bolster the economy of all members of the coalition; not to mention the opportunity to spread the ideology of Socialism throughout the American continent.

As the war escalates to its bitter end, Coalition forces wearily press forward to crush the outer resistances to the North, who refuse to surrender to the overwhelming might of the Hammer and the liberating gleam of the sickle.

Revolution?

Ven Rassmessen's well known "Liberation Movement," long considered an illogical, radical dream of destroying Norway's puppeting of our government, is gaining support. Meanwhile, Riot Control aims to destroy all hopes of freedom. Gunfire is ringing out across Byshel.

When Ven Rassmessen started rallying support to liberate Byshel fully from the Norwegian puppeting that had continued ever since the "Day that Snow ran Red" (Byshelist Independance), he was laughed off as a fool.

To the surprise of a great many, however, he, in the following years, rose to the position of Head of the Byshelist Royal Navy. Skilled in diplomacy, he has been loosening Norwegian grip on Byshel ever since, though continually disregarded as an idiot. In the recent War of Azure, which slacked off to an unsatisfactory conclusion, Ven noticably brought his fleet, against orders, to the Norwegian Sea to make an attack.

Norway, stunned, cracked down hard on Byshel, limiting our freedoms further than they were to begin with. Ven was kicked out of his position, and ran out of money, disappearing off the map. Recently resurfacing in the Red Grove, he began making peaceful protests against Norway.

To much surprise, he has gained a large amount of support towards the "Liberation Movement." As protests became larger and larger, an armed Riot Control team arrived on the scene yesterday morning, threatening the killing of all protesters if they did not immediately stand down.

At first, the protesters began to put down their signs and put their hands up, but after a rousing speech by Ven, during which three shots missed him and he was hit through the leg by a fourth, quickly becoming known as the "Stand Your Ground" speech, the protesters began to protest louder.

The Riot control opened fire and slaughtered some thirty people before the protesters began drawing weapons of their own, firing back. Fire continued, before vandalism and destruction of private property began. The area was a full warzone when an explosion, thought to be caused by a gas line incident, destroyed Northwest Square. A few survivors were brought in ambulances to the hospital, all rioters, one of which was Ven.

The immediate response has been extraordinary. Banners and signs are going up everywhere, displaying in bright colors, "The Revolution Has Begun."

Norway has sent more and more troops into Byshel, and multiple riots with similar effects to the first have occurred.

Byshel is on the verge of freedom. In the words of Ven Rassmessen, "Hold your ground! Not every liberty is taken from us yet!"

Numerous Explosions Reported at Andreo Ibanez Field

Puerto Colijito is in shock this afternoon after an unexpected and savage attack on historic Andreo Ibanez Field during a baseball game leaves 7 dead and several more wounded

The nation of Puerto Colijito is in shock this evening after an unexpected and savage attack at the historic Andreo Ibanez baseball field. Thousands of Puerto Colijito Grizzlies fans had packed the sold out stadium to watch their home team play the Hawks as the playoffs are only weeks away; spectators were expecting a peaceful day in the ballpark with their families and loved ones. This game, however, would be anything but a typical ball game.

According to Benjamin Aurelio, our source who works as a security guard at the stadium, at roughly 2:30pm he witnessed several vehicles pulled over to the curb directly in front of the long flight of stairs which leads to the entrance. Aurelio claims the three vehicles idled for a few minutes as they sat there with nobody exiting any of the cars. As Aurelio began to approach, he was stopped in his tracks by an incredibly loud blast followed by two more moments later which sounded as if they were coming from the opposite side of the ballpark where an identical entrance is located. As he attempted to contact other security staff via radio and after he had regained his composure, he caught a glimpse of "three tall men sprinting down the block" and turning the first corner they came to.

Mr. Aurelio quickly contacted the Las Salinas provincial police department as he sprinted up the entrance stairs to try to see what was happening inside; at this moment Benjamin claims he was thrown with extreme force to the ground which caused him extensive facial injuries. He learned when he regained consciousness that the three vehicles who had stopped in front of him had been packed with piritocin, a man-made but extremely powerful explosive compound that has been used previously in other Caribbean nations to commit terrorist attacks. He was also told that the exact same thing had transpired on the other side of the stadium.



Aurelio was the only one injured on the east side of the field where he was posted, but the two vans which were detonated by the western entrance are confirmed to have killed 7 people who had taken a break from the game and sat down on the entrance stairs for a cigarette break. In addition, 4 individuals walking on the sidewalk on the opposite side of the road as the vans were injured severely and rushed to San de Manatí General Hospital.



Las Salinas law enforcement are beginning an extensive manhunt for the perpetrators of this horrific act, with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation sending hundreds of agents to the province to coordinate with the local police. Salomón Barela, governor of the Las Salinas province, told reporters during a brief press conference that the event is being considered an act of terrorism at this moment, though he did not offer any specifics as to who authorities think may be responsible.

Prime Minister Calvino DeLuca is scheduled to hold a press conference regarding the attack on Tuesday evening; meanwhile he has raised the national threat level to a 9 out of 10 and the federal government is urging citizens to be aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious behavior. DeLuca has also more than doubled security at major Puerto Colijitian landmarks, utilizing both regular police officers as well as Rapid Response Unit tactical team members.
