I, Chancellor Gulley of Natlington, have heard about the recent rising tide in many great countries recently. Because our nation is fairly new, I have not taken action until this point. I have mobilized a large portion of my army to my borders. I do not look fondly toward the Allied-leaning nations. I will have to reside with the Axis-leaning powers. Good day to you all, this is not the last you will be hearing of me.

Peace and Advance

Many B-N-A men stand for their passion of independence, ready to become a democratic government themselves, built off the revolution idea of democracy, and much more which I sound like I make no sense. They wish for independence and ask Britain and France for peace.

As this occurs among citizens, the armies of B-N-A, scattered, regroup at La Rochelle. They march to re-take Bordeaux, and keep Nantes, the capital, safe and secure and unable to be attacked by the foreign invaders. 100,000 men keep their heads up and fighting on the northern front where Britain and B-N-A troops remain in a stalemate, while the French are mainly focused on taking out any remnants of the French Commune. Bordeaux is attacked by B-N-A men before it can be reinforced by British, French, and other troops. Bordeaux falls to B-N-A which rises morale. B-N-A seems to lose normal battles but manage to haul in major victories within cities. 15,000 Breton troops march into an abandoned Brest besides for citizens, no military, but are ambushed, after a long fight which lasted 2 days and 2 nights, the fighting in the city ended on July 1st in just a minor victory for B-N-A, with 7,500 remaining, and prepare to rest for a few days before marching across and liberating the northern coast of Brittany.

The Moroccan Military had made an amazing transition just 6 months with the help of German/Italian training and armament. Nearly some 150,000 troops had been retrained, rearmed, and turned into one of the worlds most premiere stormtroopers. Specializing in rapid deployment and advance, the 1st Royal Army had succesfully liberated Tunisia earlier in the year and the 2nd Royal Army liberating the Canary Islands in the previous month. Now, the 3rd and 4th armies had been modernized and were awaiting orders, along with three Royal Tunisian Legions. 88 milimeter guns and Panzer tanks had now become standard armaments of the army.

The Royal Moroccan Navy had added its goal of 5 destroyers, 2 submarines, and upgraded its naval facilities to hold the new fleet. Currently, the three dreadnoughts were archaic, but served there purposes as coastal bombarders. A new battleship was in development in the port of Rabat, mean to be the crowning piece of the Royal Navy.

Some 100 Messerschmidt fighters, 50 Stuka dive bombers, and 15 Junker heavy bombers had been purchased and their pilots trained by German officers. The Moroccan Royal Air Force was now a force to be reckoned with.

The 425,000 Moroccans awaiting training were to be fully equipped by the end of the year, along with the new battleship. The old Moroccan force relied upon calvary and WW1 rifles for its strength. They were currently deployed across the Sahara and Atlas mountains, undergoing training and preparations to join the new forces ranks.

The Sultan Mohammed V calls for a referedunm in Algeria on Atkemri rule, to allow an internationally monitored vote on independence, supervised by the nations of Yatsatz, Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland, and Italy. The referendum must to be held within the next month, or else Atkmeri will risk further unrest in Algeria and possible communist uprisings.

The spanish Military needed reform and better equipment that they knew. The high command followed the German doctrine of Bitzkreig, Lighting war. concentrating on breaking through enemy lines and encircling them. Efforts are now made to modernize the Spanish Troops with new weapons from in development by CETME. The use of horses are to be relgated to ceremonial duties as they are to be replaced by motorised and mechenized vechicles. 1.2 Billion are to be spent in the new procurement program the biggest Spain has seen. June 18
With the unfortunate loss of Cagayan and Davao, the troops in the north retreat, holed up in isolated forts and manors, with guerilla forces well hidden around the area. They remained in contact through secret tunnels, known only to the Dons and their heirs, some Hidalgos.

The rest of the main force have retreated south, and concentrated on defending their borders. Keeping in contact through the same method.

With Señor Roa, and Don Velez overseas; the leadership of Cagayan and Davao was missing. In the meanwhile, Don Marban gathers his resources and plans his next move.
Somewhere in the Scmecret Tunnels
"We'll, this is embarrassing. The Don Velez will not be happy when he comes back." The Don Marban was a very tall man. He was well into his 40s, and somewhat stocky. He wore a trenchcoat and spectacles. "I've already sent a Simoun Jose overseas to 'gather support'. Do you know what a 'Simoun Jose' is? Greatest assassins we might as well know. Though I don't suppose an American like you might know."

The Don was surrounded by guards. In front of him were several men tied and bound, gagged and blindfolded.

"Ah yes, I forgot about that. Remove the blindfold and the gag."

As the man was freed of those restraints, he glares at the Don with confusion. "What the hell?! We are about to leave, who'd you bring us here?!"

The Don took a rifle. A nice automatic one, like the ones they stole. He pointed ditch at one of the other men.

"Wait-

Immediately, he pulled the trigger. Bang! Then silence as the man dropped dead to the floor. Silenced mumbling and whimpering came from the others.

"NO! You didn't have to do that!" The other man said.

"One the contrary, it was to make sure you would do as I tell you. Do the Americans know that you had betrayed them?"

"We didn't tell anyone-

"Good. Now, Señor, we have a job for you. We will release you, and you will go to the Americans, and get close to the highest officer there, and-

The Don made a gesture, as if slitting his throat. "If you refuse, I kill more of your friends here."

"Alright, what-

The Don took out a knife, and grabbed the man; he ripped his shirt, and carved out some letters on the man's chest. He screamed, as lines of blood slowly formed the letters "S" and "J".

"From this day forth, you are a Simoun Jose. Godspeed, assassin."

"You're a sick ####!"

"Si, Señor Amerikano, I am. Unlike the Don Velez, I'm willing to do what's necessary. It was also under my orders to shoot down anyone who wasn't Filipino or Spanish, whether civilian or military.

"We will stage a mock-battle, and you will 'escape' and go to the Amerikanos. Understand? Or we kill more of your friend here."

The American glared at him with fury for a while, then looked at his men, and sighed. "Fine. I'll be your Simoun Jose."

The Attack from Sweden on Finland was unexpected however and many tough the Reunion was doomed to fail due to this fact. They certainly could not make Finland and Sweden work together after that little stunt. In any case the conference was already planned and it was too late to go back.

All of the Diplomats meets in the Rodhia Palace, Traditional residence of the King, deemed ideal for a meeting of such importance. The reunion begin with Interim President Rigen adressing the Diplomats:

''Welcome welcome. I thank all of you for your time and the possibility of this talk happening. I'll cut to the points: The world is bursting in flames. No one can know when the threat will come. We hope you share that sentiment. Even know conflict as brewed between Finland and Sweden !''
A small pause.
''This serial escalation can no longer be ignored. We as country of the north must strive for a union of sort. An alliance. We cannot survive on our own and especially not if we tear each other appart. Our governement has designed some ideas that may be of interest for your respective nations.''

Following are the most notable resolution proposed by Rapanatcha. Acceptance to one does not bind the signatory to the others unless specified:

1: Facilitate trade with the northern nations by removing the economic border between the nations involved. Think of something similar to the NAFTA.
2: Protecting the independance of all nation involved. This means the promise of military and economic assistance in case of an invasion from a foreign power.
3: Assuming one agree with the second resolution, a council of sort would meet every years to discuss the evolution of this alliance and what would the common objective for the signatory would be.
4: Sharing airfield and Naval bases to facilitate the defence in a conflict situation or in prevention of a conflict.

Finally Rapanatcha propose a ceasefire from Sweden and Finland and invite them to negotiate durable peace between them. Until the situation is cleared, Rapanatcha cannot support any side with aid.

Prince Charles inspecting his armoured groups outside of his HQ, June 6th 1936

Charles would walk through the streets of Guangzhou, celebrated by his troops and some of Guangzhou's chinese population. He'd invited high-ranking officers of both the Andsed force that had been in Guangzhou for some time, and the fresh troops from Dolor Mortis. The commander of the American garrison, a colonel named John Fletchly, also arrived to the scene and the group of officers were having a good time.

Charles was a bit paranoid about insurgent attacks, so the men didn't have time to talk about everything. A normal officer's conversation wouldn't surprisingly always be a military one. Subjects could be the home front, politics, anything really. Charles sized it down to military-styled discussions only to save up efficiency and time. As the prominent military figures casually walked through Guangzhou's city's and its large park, they wouldn't really notice communist influence. Most of the civilians were cheering for them. The officers happily waved and smiled: This comfortable stroll was a propaganda stunt. Most of the military preparations happened within the HQs that were all very close to eachother. The Expeditionary Forces had their staff fill up empty, luxurious compounds on the main street, meaning that most headquarters were very close to one another.

As the men happily walked around, prince Charles noticed that his military was not as sizeable as the others, with many street corners occupied and defended by either Andsed or Mortisian troops. The three armies looked out of place. They were from different continents, with different customs and traditions. Charles knew that there was only one way of upgrading these troops to their highest standard: They had to be westernized properly, with them all participating in military routines and war games together.

Later that day, Charles set up a plan to fraternize the forces and make them feel more comfortable with one another. He hoped to cut through language barriers by asking the forces to use English when speaking over international intercoms, and he invested some of the crown's funds into educating Limburgs officers to speak English properly. He vowed that the protection of the catholic minorities in China was sacred to him, and that he would like to improve the coordination of the combined forces in Guangzhou in an effort to combat marxist terror.
He quietly awaited his reply.

-

Back in Europe, duke Maximilioan was awaiting a reply as well. He had hoped that nothing happened to the messages. Had they been properly broadcasted? Maximilioan needed an answer to these propositions: more catholic intervention in China would beat back communist influence. The old duke decided to re-send the letters.

To: Kaiser Franz I
Your imperial highness,
I understand your concerns, but if I could take the honour of advising you: The Chinese produce food for us. Sending food and additional supplies around is indeed difficult, so we very much rely on autarky. The Kuomintang government supplies us with bread and other edibles. We export food to China too, but we mostly do this to enhance morale. Our cooks are experimenting with Asian food, but all we're currently sending our troops is equipment, and maybe some food. Seeing that didn't use their weapons yet, or engage in some activity in which they would have lost their weapons or munitions, our supply lines are quite thin. We can broader them if we'd like to, but the supply in China is very dynamic. We could also supply your troops for you, as long as we've got stern support for the catholic church in China. We could assign some of our destroyers to your force. This will increase fraternity between our nations. We need you to support the catholic church anywhere on earth, your imperial highness. I hope that we can reach a compromise, for the catholic faith.
Signed: Grand Duke Maximilioan zu Fürstenberg, Grand duke of Limburg and count of Fürstenberg.

To: Cyprus XIV
Your excellence,
We are in need of additional support to protect the catholic church in China. Taking into account your christian heritage, I'm requesting you to help us in our efforts against the bolscheviks and terrorists in Asia. I hope that you agree to this, if not, we wish you the best of luck.
May god be with you.
Signed: Grand Duke Maximiloan I, Bishop Lemmens

To:
Yatsatz would play as Pius, seeing that he's the OP.

Befamed bishop of Rome,
I ask of your support in our war against communism. The bolshevik Chinese have tried to endanger the catholic churches on the east coast. We need papal support in this great hour of need. Please, dear pope, help us.

He wondered, did he really want to engage in a war right now? He decided that giving at least 25,000 troops would help keep the communists at bay and would strengthen relations between the two nations. After all they were enemies before in the first Great War but things had changed and they were both catholic after all.

To: Grand Duke Maximiloan I, Bishop Lemmens
We have decided that because of our ties to the church and such we will send 25,000 men who are trained to help save the Catholics in China and offer you our air support if need be.
We will send supplies and 1,000 Bloch MB.150s to help your Air Force as well.
I hope we can set aside our differences and forget about what had happened in the first Great War and become great allies.

Several production lines at major factories throughout Finland have begun retooling themselves to produce tanks and other armor of a design unique to Finland.
The X568-Odin is based on the German Panzer II, with thicker, rounded armor plating at the expense of some mobility. The tracks have also been widened, so as to be able to move better on snow. The raw materials for this are coming from a trade deal with Sweden, where we get raw iron, oil, and coal, and they get some of the finished products.

In other news, the right-wing Nationalist Party has managed to gain some popular support, and there have been many who are concerned about the implications of this. Several members of the government have condemned the party for some of its stances, which are in some ways even more extreme than those of the German National Socialist Party.

"Can we take Sweden if we attack?"
This was the question being asked around the circles of the Finnish government. Sweden, long their friend, had attacked without warning in the dead of night. The native islanders had put up a fight, but the island was lightly defended and the soldiers had quickly surrendered.
The defense minister, after reviewing the capabilities of the Finnish and Swedish militaries, came to a conclusion.
"Perhaps... But if we did, we would take severe casualties, and then the Reds would take us over, with our armies over-extended, tired, and weakened.
I say we go to these talks, and try to get Aland back peacefully, or at least get reparations for it. No one else needs to die for this, not when another great war is on the horizon."

The Gov in exile is weak, and the remaining soldiers stage a Coup Led by 1 star General Putsutski Zhukov, and they capture all of the Remaining Government officials and become the Nationalist Federation of Northern Poland. They cease all ties with the CCP and become Far-right and denounce communism. They also keep trying to become legitimate, and ask for recognition, they expect the nation that is harbouring them to kick them out.

Postby Strala » Mon Feb 12, 2018 7:04 pm

The battle was grim. There were trenches and thousands of dead bodies that lay among the cold hard soil of the battleground. In the minds of the dead were the same thoughts, I died for the survival of the people's party. Many would argue that this is what they deserved, but is it true? They were warriors, champions of the people. They tried to help the people live better lives, and make a world that was not restricted to the bounds of social rankings. Yet the people let their own greed cast over peace and love. Thousands suffer so that one family would stay rich.

The soil was red like their flag and symbol. They had no regret nor sorrow. They were true martyrs of the people and they knew that they would be remembered so. It was ironic that the blood color of man was also the symbol and color of communism. It was endless and it showed that mankind will never be willing enough to cooperate with others. The leader of the Kuomintang was corrupt and let the poor suffer and he let the rich live on like normal. He was suppressing the very means of their so-called "democracy". It was more like a corrupt office with mainly incompetent people running it. He slaughtered thousands of innocents and our comrades, yet the world didn't care. When we fought back and started killing a few nationalists the world went into an uproar. They called us murders and destroyers of democracy, but we never cared for the world's hypocrisies. Where were they when he killed the thousands of innocents. When were they when he starved and murdered our comrades. They were nowhere to be seen. They were busy hiding and counting their money. Even the so-called USSR had abandoned us. When were they during the long march and when the Americans attack. They didn't help us nor any true communists in the so-called world uprising. They were too busy purging their own people, the exact type of thing that we fought against.

The Fifth and Fourth Corp were left behind to defend Shaanxi and Xi'an for as long as they can. The rest of the army would try to relocate to the USSR or another remote rural area in China, and start over again. The Party will never forget the sacrifice of the brave men that stayed behind to defend their rears. The Commissars from both Corps, Xiong Bao, and Zhong Ping would be promoted to General, while every officer would be promoted by one rank. All important documents that couldn't be carried were destoryed and so were the heavy equipment.

Account of the battle of Xi'an by an unknown soldier that survived the battle.
He and his regiment managed to rejoin the main army

June 14, 1936
Dear Mother and Father today was the hard day. We only had one mantou and some pickled vegetables. Many were hungry and resorted to eating their belts and shoes and some of our comrades started to become cannibals, but they were quickly put down by the mp and the Commissars. They received a firing squad and were shot.I myself ate some parts of my belt. The fourth regiment was also ordered to charge since they ran out of ammo, and they were glorious. The red flag never fell as they charged, many of us were praying that they would come back, and they did. 65% of the regiment died during the charge but they didn't make the foreign devils pay. They cut them down left and right. Many of foreign devils started to run after they knew they couldn't beat them, but after they left their artillery started. They bombed us and we had to cover in our trenches before we knew it they were making another assault again but we were ready this time. We had experienced battle already so many of us didn't cringe nor waver when he killed an enemy nor did we do the same when one of our comrades was shot. I didn't cry like last time but he was screaming and crying. I couldn't help but feel pity for that man and his family. All I could do was to tell him that his family would be proud when they found out that he sacrificed himself for the survival of the party. When the fourth regiment finally arrived they were bloody and their uniforms were tattered, but they were grinning and not one was looking regretful nor shameful. Their colonel had perished during the charge but they made sure that he was buried and given a grave marking. They also came back with canteens of food and ammo, better yet they had gotten American weapons, can you believe it. They give each of us two cans of food, and some ammo and some of the more experienced soldiers received the new weapons. What I couldn't but notice was that they were flying the flag the whole time. Not once did it fall into the enemy hand, but it was filled with bullet holes, but no one minded. Many of us wished it was us that had charged with them. The Fifth Corp also conducted a raid on the enemy supplies. I myself got promoted to the rank of lance corporal after the former one died. After that engagement we burned all documents we couldn't carry, and we were informed that we were going to rejoin the main army, while the survivors of the fifth corps will stay and act as recon. Their new goal is to give us new info and they will also harass the enemy. I regret ending the note here Mother, and Father. The Trumpeter had sounded the horn, we will be charging down and attacking the foreign devils. This might be my last battle, so I hope you a wonderful life in the future. If I don't make it back remember I will be waiting for you with my comrades on the other side,
From
Your Loving Son

The government of Sweden is more then happy to start negotiations over Aland. We have no wish to fight a grueling war with Finland when our true enemy are the Communists. In return for Finland ceding Aland, we offer:
1. Substantial financial compensation
2. A guarantee of military support for Finland in the event of a Soviet invasion.

June 19 Los Velez, Andalucia, Spain
The Don looked at his newspaper. "America successfully captures Mindanao from the APRM!"

"This isn't good."

"No shit, Señor. You just lost half your goldmines." The Don looked up. He was sitting around a circular table with several other men including his aide. In front of him was a white Spaniards, well-dressed and very clean.

"Don Fajardo, I-

"Have lost half a trillion dollars worth of gold. How exactly are you going to fund a Noble uprising now? This isn't going to work in Cuba or Puerto Rico or Spain as long as you cannot fund your efforts."

"That's not why I'm worried though..." "Then why?" The Don Velez coughed and covered his mouth with a napkin. As he pulled it away, it was stained red. "The Mindanao Nobles have been left with only the Don Merkado and the Don Marban. The two most influential next to me and Don Roa. Don Merkado is... A pacifist. He is weak. He would sooner surrender our people and himself to slavers believing it would save us than go to war. And Don Marban, he is a power-hungry man. Insane. Merkado has his own supporters, but so does Marban. The Principalia will only follow a Don Velez or a Don Roa, after all, it was our two families that United the APRM in the first place. With us gone, and the Estados Unidos in Mindanao, those two will divide Mindanao according to their ideals."

"So you've lost your money, your land, your titles and your people. That's just wonderful."

"There's still hope. The king, he is in Italy. And the Franco man too, he might help. If I do not have your support, then I will go to Franco; and I will tell him you are a coward, and you will not return as Marquis."

Don Fajardo glared at Velez for a moment, considering his words. He sighed. "Very well, I will consider helping. But remember, you are a Velez, and I am Marquis de Los Velez, you are my subject here, and you are no leader here. Just my soldier."

Apolinar's aide took the man's inhaler and made him put it on. "Don Velez, your asthma."

Breathing through a mask, Don Velez sighed. "Very well Don Fajardo, I'd sooner serve Spanish nobility than the US demagogue."

In a Manor of House Merkado
"Are you sure you want to this my son?" The Don Merkado was a withered old man. Short and skinny, with sharp cheekbones and a mustache. "

Yes, Don Papa. It is the only way to save the Republic. We are not match for Tehran Americans, and Don Marban is clearly insane. With Don Roa and Don Velez gone, there are none that will keep him in check." His son, a Hidalgo Merkado, was well into his 40s. Tan and dark-haired, he bore a resemblance to late Filipino writer and Merkado, Jose Rizal.

The older man wept, fearing his son's betrayal and possibly his death. Whether it's is by American hands or by the Don Marban's.

In the woods outside Davao

An artillery unit had been set up just within the area. The gun was set up near a tent, where an American navy captain has been tied and gagged. The Don Marban had not told the men the purpose of bringing the man here, only that they will fire at Davao.

They were told they would take the city today. But they saw no other artillery units anywhere. Their only actual assurance of defense was a company of 50 men with automatic rifles and the thousands of traps they have set in the forest.

"Open fire." The lieutenant said.

And with a loud boom, shot the cannon. An explosive shell that rose to the heavens, before dropping down upon the city with a whistle.

"Fire another one!"

Yatzand, June 18
King Yazin II walked out onto the balcony. He thought about the last couple of months. He had led the Green Yatzatzians. After the assassination of the filthy Gudom, he had announced that he was behind the assassination, and renamed himself Yazin, in memory of the great Danak Yazin, first king of Yatzatz. He had slowly rallied the people of Yatzatz behind him, using their patriotism as a hook. Now, he was ready for the climax. He cleared his throat, looked at the huge crowd below the balcony, and began.
"Do you remember the 1850s? It was only eighty years ago, less then a century, but anyone here who remembers that time will realize how different it was from now. Then, we were an empire. Anyone passing through the northern half of the largest ocean on a planet of water would stop in to marvel at the sights. Those were glorious days. The leaders of then were men of genius. However, even geniuses can make mistakes. And they made one massive mistake.
"They were mislead by democracy.
"Everyone here can see where this has led us. While those men were geniuses, their successors were not. Their successors failed to take advantage of the opportunity to purchase Alaska. Their successors fell by the roadside as Japan rose. Their successors did nothing as the United States annexed an independent nation.
"No, their successors were not as great. Not even close.
"And if the successors can fall that far, what about the successors of the successors?
"They led us into embarrasement in the Great War. The world laughed at our incompetence and stupidity. But they were not content with merely embarrassing our nation, and led it into a depression the likes of which has never been seen before. Then, and only then, the people of Yatzatz were fed up. Tired of the incompetence, wanting to feel greatness again, they did the only thing they could.
"They assassinated the leader.
"But the government still didn't learn! They tried to fix the problem with democracy, the same thing that had led them into this mess! That only led to two years of complete anarchy. Their chosen leader was so bad, he was assassinated as well! And his son took the throne.
"His son was smart. His son began to fix the problems. But we did not want another cycle. We wanted to break out of the cycle. We wanted to overturn democracy and establish a new empire, one that would never fall.
"And so, with great sadness, we did the only thing we could do. We assassinated the king.
"And now, we can finally forge ahead.
"Gentlemen, General Lenton once said "The reason you capture land is only to capture more." Other nations have learned this lesson, but we, the originators, have not. Let us not fall beside the road again. Gentlemen, join me in following the path of King Yazin I and establishing a Yatzatzian Empire!"
The cheering was so loud, it could be heard throughout Yatzand. The people would join, and an empire would rise.

June 19
A suicidal attack on US-controlled Davao leads to seventy-five Mindanaoan casualties to only three American.
Another 75,000 US soldiers arrive in Xi'an, replacing the 25,000 American dead and bolstering the American numbers to 500,000.
