“Your Majesty, we’ve destroyed Atkemri, captured Nigeria, Niger, and Benin, and are a major world power, what now?” The Emperor’s advisor asked

“We must expand, in Aureumterrese America, we shall take parts of the Caribbean” Emperor Dragonquack replied.

“Which islands?”

“We must first conquer the Dominican Republic, then move on to Cuba, Jamaica, and the Bahamas. Send orders right away”

“Yes your majesty”

Hispaniola
Tanks and Tesla cannons were dispatched to cross into the Dominican Republic from Haiti, followed by a few thousand infantrymen. They would cross into the other side of Hispaniola and attempt to capture the border towns, moving closer and closer into the capital city. The force crossed the central mountains and prepared for any resistance. They had plans with this colony, as it wouldn’t remain theirs for too long after it was (hopefully) captured. The Teslas were armed and ready to fight, and they marched on.

Somewhere over Hispaniola, near Pedernalas

“Come in, NWP-39. This is Lieutenant Trexler, coleader of Patrol Wing 135, callsign Polco.”
“Acknowledged, Polco. Situation?”
“We’re seeing Auremterran forces use armor to push through Dominican borders, blitzkrieg-style... Looks like they’ve got some sort of prototype electricity weapon as well.”
“Huh. We’ve got satellite footage, but we never were able to confirm what the massive heatsigs were... thank you.”
“Permission to engage?”
“Permission granted. Focus on those direct-energy guns. Try to hold them off while we dispatch a few bigger guns.”

The five XF-45 jets, suddenly shedding their stealth, slammed past the sound barrier in the direction of the Haitian-Dominican border.

“Get ready, all of you. We’re expecting heavy fire once they realize we’re here, even if it looks like they lack air cover. Even if we’ve got our Faraday cages, these Tesla cannons might be something. We empty our missiles, and it’s full speed back home.”
“We’ll smoke them out, sir. A little lightning never bothered me.”

“Alright, gentlemen, let’s close this pool!”
“You just had to say that, sir.”
“Corporal, you named yourself Harbl. What’s wrong with you?”
“It’s a great callsign, Swastiget.”

The aircraft swooped low over the line of advancing Auremterrans, firing away with their autocannons and targeting infantry in the rear, while releasing their air-to-surface missiles over the Tesla cannons.

"Your majesty, word has come to us that the Dominican Republic has been invaded..we're going to try to get satellite imagery soon, but-"

"Invaded by whom??" King Arsène Rodier loudly asked.

"Aureumterra, from their colony in Haiti it looks like.."

"What the fuck? Get the royal council in here, I'm going to address Parliament at 5. They can't just barge in the Caribbean and invade our trade partners one by one!"

Parliament of Gagium, New Orleans
"Welcome, welcome..as you may have heard, the Dominican Republic, whom are a trade partner and regional friend of ours, have been invaded by Aureumterra. We don't know why, and we don't have satellite imagery yet, but they can't be up to any good. There's not a good chance they're stopping at the Dominican Republic, either. One by one, the dominoes of the Caribbean will fall, unless we intervene now.

"That is why, in protection of the sovereign states of the Caribbean, I hereby use my power as King of Gagium and the Commonwealths to declare war on the invading nation of Aureumterra."

The members of Parliament cheered loudly in support of the King and the war declaration. After a minute or so, the King continued.

"We shall not let the invaders conquer the Dominican, much less the Caribbean! As we speak, our great generals are meeting, planning in the defense of the Caribbean. Long live the Kingdom!"

The King left the podium amidst Parliament's clapping, sitting down at his chair as a politician of the National Assembly walked up to give a long, dull speech.

Port New Orleans

The Gagium surface fleet, consisting of 2 aircraft carriers, 16 destroyers, 24 frigates, and 8 patrol craft, was readying up, supplies being lifted into the ships. The docks were crowded with officers and crewmen alike, as the Gagium war machine would kick into action once again. It would be some time before the fleet would be ready to enter active service, as Gagium's been enjoying a long era of peace up until now.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans garrison, consisting of 25,000 soldiers, 150 MBTs, 500 IFVs and 200 APCs, was being readied into service. Transport ships from various shipping companies were being leased by the Gagium army for transport into the Dominican. The plan rested on the Dominican army's ability to defend themselves from the invaders, for if the Dominican Republic fell, it'd make things a hell lot harder for the Gagium army.

Around 75,000 soldiers were being readied to move towards Port New Orleans to take part in the operation. Another 100,000 soldiers would be readied for defense operations if the colonizers dare invade Gagium. Plans for the defense of New Orleans were being drawn up, as well as plans to construct extensive defenses along the swampy coastline and along the Mississippi River.

Hispaniola
This was expected, Exodia was bound to be suicidal. They had chosen to attack, and now, they’ll pay. The aircrafts were electrified with 2 million volts of electricity. The infantry was being hurt though. They were trying to feebly return fire to the enemy, but many were killed. The Teslas came in to save the day shooting giant bolts of energy at any enemy targets. These new machines were wonderful.

“Are our missiles even hitting?”

“Mayday, mayday! Engine failure! I can’t move!”
“I’m struggling too! Electrical’s overheating! Hydraulics down!”
“Dammit, you two! Save yourselves!”

While most of the fighter wing remained relatively unharmed and tore away from the scene safely, two weren’t so lucky. One appeared to stall, while the other seemed to lose control of his craft. It was impossible for them to recover at such a low altitude.

Both pilots ejected, as jetpacks engaged, then gave way to billowing parachutes, landing them both under the Haitian rainforests- bruised but kicking, but still in the middle of enemy territory.

“You won’t be missed, you two. God protect. Stay alive.”

The last message from their leader rang out, then silence.

Let’s start off with a short note.
Atkemri’s government was in no way feeble when you decided to greedily make a snatch at their territory. It was only your brute strength that may have won you the war- and it certainly won’t win you this one.

Like I’ve said before when I held you off from Panama for as long as I could- We might be Atkemri’s allies, but fighting us will be on an entirely new level.

We’ve held off pompous autocrats just like you since our beginning, and we’ve developed the means to enforce our will. They come under different names... Chairman, Premier, Alpha, King, Fuhrer.

“Emperor” is but the same, and they all fall the same way.

Don’t lie. You’ve seen our power at work. You know us alone are enough to scribble your imperial maps into disarray and spill the golden ink of freedom over them.

Gulf of Mexico

The Gagium surface fleet, surrounding various transport vessels both civillian and military, began sailing out of the Mississippi River and into the Gulf of Mexico. 20,000 soldiers and 40 phaser tanks were loaded on the transports, heading towards the Dominican Republic. The patrol crafts and 8 frigates were left behind to guard the Mississippi River entrance and Port New Orleans.

100 fighter craft lifted off from the aircraft carriers to carry out support sorties to assist the Dominican Republic. They would also contact the Exodian aircraft to inform them that they're friendlies. An official notice from the Crown was already sent to the Exodian government.

We wish to befriend your nation in these times of war, and make a treaty to counter the aggressive actions imposed on the Dominican Republic by the dangerous Aureumterran expansionists. If needed, we can provide defense for your islands, as well as provide supplies in the mutual struggle against Aureumterra. Surely an empire centered in Scandinavia cannot hold off for long, no matter how many allies they have.

If your nation does fall, we will be happy to provide refuge for your government and civillians.

"It is for a great reason that I broadcast this message to you today, people of Letheny. The savage Exodians have begun a fierce yet incompetent assault on our brothers and sisters in Aureumterra,
and it is for that reason, but not only that reason, that Letheny hereby declares war on Exodia!

For too long, the Exodians have meddled in our civilized affairs, and we have granted them mercy. They have poked thorns in our sides for too long, and now they must pay the price. May God himself steer our navy,
for they will pave the path to our soldiers, who will salt their lands, and wipe Exodia from history. They will do so, as a testament to Letheny's might, and to create an example! May the world fear and respect Letheny,
and those who trouble us will be crushed like the snakes they are! And they will be unable to boast anymore. To victory!

About half of the Atlantic Fleet has been sent to assist the Aureumterrans, bringing an array of incredible Lethen naval weaponry and their powerful carrier fighters, bringing a wide array of railguns, missiles, lasers, and tesla guns to the table. With 6 carriers, each capable of carrying 125 fighter jets, Letheny brought in 750 carrier fighters that immediately began engaging hostile air craft. The fleet escorted an army of 17,000 infantry with a decent assortment of combat vehicles and artillery (MLRS and towed), who linked up with Aureumterran land forces in combat. The fleet, afterwards, linked up with the Aureumterran Fleet, with small detachments firing long-range missiles at the Gagium fleet and sending fighters in for hit-and-runs.

The army was essentially a volunteer force, which essentially just did whatever the Aureumterrans were doing, albeit with more artillery, chemical, and incendiary weaponry.

[Gagium]

"Fucking hell, missiles..?" an officer said as the first missile was seen. It hit a frigate, causing a massive explosion that crippled that frigate. It also sunk considerably lower towards the sea. The captain of the carrier Louisiana walked on the deck, yelling, "Get our fighters off the ground! We've got some fighters on our radar!"

"But sir, half of them's not even-"

"Get the ones here off the ground! Go go go!" the captain yelled.

A measly force of 75 fighters (25 from the 100 sent to assist the Dominicans and Exodians returned) lifted off from the carrier, engaging whatever Lethen fighters came too close in an attempt to protect the cargo, the thousands of soldiers on the transports.

"I'm pretty sure those aren't Aureumterran fighters...don't look like them, anyways." one pilot said.

"Eh? Probably the Lethens, very close allies of theirs..Ah whatever, shoot them down first, then the crown will realize something for once and declare war on them later. Ah well, I'm dying to use these new phaser equipment..just need a target.."

Cyrus and Bellcrier Air Bases, Drarta Island, Exodia

If the Auremterrans and Lethens had lightning, the Exodians would have thunder.

For the first time on record, the massive Divine Intervention-class zeppelins would be brought into use.

The two battle zeppelins slowly took off, their shadows reflecting on the ground, while accompanied by close to 250 escort fighters and 400 independent air superiority jets, sent to be rid of the Lethen and Auremterran fleets closest to Exodia.

Meanwhile, a series of much smaller aircraft departed the bases at an incredibly high speed- with their rate of climb, it could be assumed they were trying to enter low-Earth orbit...

Gulf of Mexico, east of Exodian coastlines

“YEAH, BABY!”
“Let’s show our new acquaintances what we’ve got, gentlemen. Light ‘em up!”

Exodia’s large-scale air defense network, having been mobilized ever since the incident at the Panama Canal, worked away at the closest Lethen vessels while they waited a response from the Exodian Navy.

A combination of A-7 surface-attack jets, Soulkeeper combat drones, and R-8 air superiority fighters slashed away in fierce dogfights with the Lethen contingency, cutting away with all their weapons.

Somewhere in Haiti, behind Auremterran lines

Staff Sergeant “Swastiget” Hormann panted, looking through the STA display on his eyepiece, after tearing off his ejection pack. He clenched his P2S 10mm pistol in one gloved, sweaty hand, while digging in the drifting parachute for a survival pack with his other.

Only the few minutes that followed would tell what happened to him and his fellow pilot.

[Lethen Empire]

The Lethen fighters performing hit-and-run strikes on Gagium transports quickly learned not to get too close, and kept their missile attacks to hitting from a sixty to hundred-mile range. Instead of flying head-on and firing, Lethen fighters began to attack from all over. Some came in somewhat low, some from high above, and some came at the flanks.

The Exodian air defenses whittled away at Lethen ships but received an unproportional response, as Lethen ships took a moment to fire a heavy missile-and-railgun barrage against the Exodian coast, and their laser guns assisted Lethen fighter jets in squaring off against enemy jets. Lethen fighter jets were a real pain to fight against, as they never got close. They opted to fire lasers and tesla bolts from tens of miles away or even sometimes over a hundred miles away before running off, and the only time the Exodians would have a close fight with Lethen jets would be if the Lethen fighters were attempting to either ambush the enemy or lure them towards their ships where lasers from said ships and sometimes missiles would quickly target the Exodians. The jets were devilishly agile, and their pilots were keen on exploiting that.

After the Lethen barrage on the Exodian coast, the Lethen Navy resumed attacking the Gagium fleet, with long-distance missile barrages and railgun shots, and with the occasional submarine moving in and firing a torpedo.

“The fuck?”

“We’re screwed”

The soldiers in the Aureumterrese force looked in a mix of awe, panic, and dread at the massive zeppelins. It was something never seen before. The planes shot at the escorts, but couldn’t penetrate the zeppelins. Massive bombs were launched to take out the escort, and the zeppelin, it was… indestructible. So far…

Exodia
Time to attack their homeland. It was finally time. Exodia had been a thorn to the side of the empire for too long, an annoying little kid poking a sleeping bear. The bear will finally wake up now. New TS-85 Teslas were dispatched along with a fleet of planes, submarines, frigates, and an aircraft carrier. Which carrier, one that could hold many planes, and was nicknamed “Unsinkable”. It was the brand new ARAC Raseri. Along with it went even more new things, this one was a game changer, mech suits that could fire bombs and MG shots with high frequency. The massive force landed on the Exodian homeland, and prepared to obliterate everything. They started barraging all that could be seen with artillery and bombs.

Konigsberg, 0200 hours
An Escort Carrier, 4 Battlecruisers, 10 Destroyers, and 15 Frigates pulled out of port to assist Auremterra. They accompanied 5,000 Iron Guardsmen, supported by a handful of tanks and artillery.
The main offensive force of the Scout fleet, though, were the 30 Thunderbolts aboard the Escort carrier.
A formal deceleration of war would come later.

"We can't just sit here and watch the Lethen fighters chip away at us..we're as good as a sitting duck. Dispatch 100 of our fighters to assault their fleet. We've got to bring the fight to them." Admiral Mathéo Clérico ordered.

Within 10 minutes, he watched as the requested fighters began making their way towards the Lethen fleet. The Gagium fleet would continue escorting the transports, for fear of the Aureumterran navy..however, it seemed as if the Aureumterrans weren't too interested in the force heading to stop their invasion of the Dominican Republic. 10 of the 14 submarines of the fleet, however, did break off to harass the Lethen fleet. A lethen missile hit the carrier Louisiana, causing a massive explosion and large damage to the runway.

"Fuck..get the repair men ASAP. We NEED to patch this up, and quickly." Admiral Mathéo Clérico said.

Meanwhile, around 50 fighters or so camped around the fleet, attempting to fend off the Lethen hit and run attacks. 20 of those fighters were ordered to intercept them within a 10 mile radius of the fleet.

"(We outnumber them. Tear them apart.)" Admiral Gerold Rosin coldly commanded in Lethen.

The Lethen fighters kept a very irritating distance from the Gagium fleet, as they were able to hit them far out of that ten mile radius. But now, the 100 attacking fighters were quickly locked onto as the 750 or so Lethen fighters swarmed them, with their disabling tesla cannons and their laser guns being able to hit from a long distance.

The Lethen fleet kept watch for planes that got too close and kept their laser guns trained on the sky, opening fire on Gagium and Exodian planes when they were detected to be flying towards the ships. Their missiles and railguns continued to pound Gagium's fleet.
