[Xanadaria]

Xanadarian Fleet - Alfred il Xanadaria:

Alfred was beset himself with glee, as he watched the Andsed forces crumble under the force of his attack and begin to pull back. Not that there would be any retreat for them. The remaining snipers took aim at the exposed backs of the infantry forces, as the artillery bombarded their forces with armor-piercing and high-explosive rounds.

"This is Alfred il Xanadaria to the Pan-Asiatic State forces. We've beaten back the Andsed forces and inflicted heavy casualties. We'll deploy troops to your position shortly."

Several hundred soldiers departed from the Northern fronts, going to reinforce the Pan-Asiatic State fighters in the southern suburbs.

Meanwhile, the fighters jets and bombers returned to the aircraft carrier to refuel and rearm. Once they were ready, they would strike at the southern attackers.

PARTISANS HOLDING OFF ANDSED INVASION FORCE

Guerrilla forces were ordered out of the Southern front upon Xanadaria's message of aid, reassigned with tracking down Andsed reinforcements and destroy them before they reach the States. With the States increasing partisan funding, military-grade IEDs are now being deployed by Guerilla forces all across the frontline, attacking ambush by ambush; through stealth and precision.

Meanwhile, the 101st Airborne Paratroop command has been deployed to block off Doltanian reinforcements behind enemy lines, attempting to divide and surround Andsed's forces from all directions. APC Divisions are en route from the States to provide light vehicle support.

With Andsed forces near Eterna City pulling back they managed to regroup with the other forces. They quickly re assemble into a army with around 22 tanks and 8 battalions of infantry with air support arriving. Their air support quickly launched a bombing run at the city and surrounding area. They then launched a second assault after ordering their remaining special forces members in Eterna City to sabotage artillery, kill snipers, take out enemy cover etc.


As for the invasion of the Pan-Asiatic States well it was not going great enemy guerrilla fighters were doing a number on them. So the invasion force stooped quickly made an outpost and used artillery and air support to bomb the country side and cities.

OoC: Did my snipers or artillery manage to hit any of your forces?

Here came the second wave.

With the fighters refueling, they wouldn't be available for a little bit longer. Therefore, the Andsed air-support managed to do a fair bit of damage to the buildings. Whilst most of the troops were fine, due to the fact they'd garrisoned in the strongest buildings available, they still took a few casualties.

As for the special forces however, they were less successful. The snipers had set booby traps in their positions, as ordered by Alfred, which would undoubtedly take out a few of them. The helicopters also remained by the artillery, firing on any special forces member which attempted to attack it. Whilst a few positions were sabotaged, any special forces member would most likely be spotted and fired upon by the Xanadarian infantry.

Now, to defend.

"Open fire with all artillery," Alfred instructed, "have the artillery focused on the center of their ranks, where their forces will be the most numerous. High explosive rounds will shred their infantry to pieces. Keep the snipers firing at their ranks, and have our demolition team set some explosives in the large towers to the left and right of the main entrance to the city. If they make it to the city, we'll detonate them and crush the enemy forces."

The snipers began firing on the advancing infantry, as the artillery pelted the advancing forces with explosive shells, intent on devastating them.

As Andsed forces began taking casualties Andsed realized a frontal assault would not work so they ordered a retreat. After making it out they counted their losses seeing they they lost 3 out of 22 tanks and battalion of men. So they had 19 tanks and 7 battalion so do make sure they were not bombed they set up anti air turrets around their bases and decided to one wait for more reinforcements and sent out a couple of squads to use sneak into the city and to try and use guerrilla warfare. They were also given the order to try and avoid large open areas where helicopters could hit them and to watch for booby traps as that was real problems.


OOC: yeah they did I that is one of the reason I lost so many men and tanks I will try to make it more clear next time.

The Grand Marshall of Provinci, Serpexas, has followed through with his promise to aid members and allies of his region, Red Alliance, and has sent supplies and reinforcements to Pan-Asiatic States. These consist of 17 X-7 Tactical Ballistic Missiles, 2 squadrons of the Provincian Elite Guard, and 14 X-22 Armoured Tanks. Further attacks on Red Alliance or her members will result in complete decimation.


When questioned on this decision by reporters outside of his residence in Reaudinas, Provinci, Grand Marshall Serpexas only commented, “We take care of our allies and our friends, no matter what cost. If we must go to war to defend our allies, we shall.

Again, they were retreating.

Now Alfred was somewhat confused. Two frontal attacks, thrown back with relative ease. At this point, the Andsed forces were just wasting men. Xanadarian forces had blown up three tanks and taken out a good deal of their troops, before sending them running again. As before, they were blasted with sniper fire and artillery during their retreat. Probably to wait for additional forces before launching another attack, unless they wanted to waste more men.

This gave Alfred time to prepare.

"This is Alfred il Xanadaria," Alfred announced to his men, "start setting traps around the Northern front. Deploy anti-tank mines and barbed wire in strategic locations. If they try and attack us again, they will suffer for it. Snipers, what can you see?"

"Looks like they're setting something up," came the reply, "anti-air defenses by the looks of it."

"Snipe any soldiers out in the open," Alfred ordered, "we'll slowly whittle them down. If they're setting up defenses, cleaning their guns or just walking around the camp, blow their brains out."

Alfred very much doubted they'd send any more special forces. They'd been destroyed before, so he figured they wouldn't send any more. As for a counterattack, he wouldn't assault them yet. He'd thin them out to the point where they could barely stand up to a breeze, let alone his armies. That, and he still needed some additional forces from Xanadaria, which would be en route soon.

Andsed forces were starting to dig in seeing as the Xanadarians seemed to be setting up mines and such. They also had snipers taking pot shots at them so they made cover with trenches and setting up barriers. This made it hard for the snipers to get a clear shot. But luckily reinforcements arrived.

The reinforcements were 2 battalions 5 tanks and 15 heavy artillery pieces. Knowing that the artillery would be a giant target they were spread out and cover was being made so they could not be sniped at easily.

But to do this they needed a distraction they launched at least 60 fighters and 50 bombers to attack the city while having the men they had gotten in there start acting more aggressive hoping to make a distraction as they built cover for the artillery

And here came the counter attack. Alfred sighed. Were they really planning on trying this again? They'd beaten them twice before, and they'd do it a third time. But how to respond? The enemy was coming in hard, with fighters and bombers looking to deal some serious damage to the city. Plus, there were reports of enemy forces that had sneaked into the city. So they had sent more special forces. A tactical misjudgement on Alfred's part. It wouldn't happen again.

First of all, to deal with any more sneaky soldiers. He sent squads of twelve men to major points all around the city. This way, it would be almost impossible to sneak into the city. Granted, this would weaken his forward defenses slightly, but he didn't have much of a choice. Two squads of forty-eight men were also dispatched to the last known locations of the Andsed special forces, in an attempt to kill them and push them out of the city for good.

As for the aircraft, this would be tricky but not impossible to deal with. His own fighters were still taking off, meaning he couldn't engage the enemy fighters. This in turn led to some deaths, notably with one entire building collapsing and killing about fifty of his men inside. But again, his soldiers were in strong buildings the fighter missiles weren't built to completely destroy. The bombers were more concerning, packing much more firepower... but they were also much slower.

Using missile launchers, the Xanadarian forces began targeting the slow moving bombers and open firing on them, aiming to bring them down. With literally dozens of men firing rockets at the bombers, Alfred expected to take down a good deal of them. Furthermore, once his fighter squadrons were in the air, he'd obliterate this aerial assault and leave the Andsed forces even more bloodied.

Finally, the sniper squadrons had noted the enemy was building cover for something. They weren't sure what yet, but they had noted some reinforcements had arrived. They kept firing on any exposed enemies. Whilst they could build cover, it would still take them time and cost them the lives of some of their men, who would die trying to build it. The artillery pieces also joined them, firing on the enemy camps. Albeit they were much less accurate from this range, but with any luck they could hit some of the enemy forces.

Ijonas Bergmaanis hurried up the marble steps to the Vitomir-Letwin-Hall, the grand seat of the All-Union People’s Congress. He nodded curtly towards the general direction of the guardroom as he passed the security doors without breaking stride. His black uniform would have people recognise the power he wielded anywhere, his posting being the Commissariat-General and his direct superior the Secretary-General of the ULS.

“Comrade Bergmanis, how good of you to come.” A short young woman, no more than 1,60 m by Ijonas’ glancing estimate fell into stride beside him. Keeping up with his brisk pace, she continued, pushing her glasses up her hose with a smooth gesture before pulling out a small file: “These are the sources the comrades representatives of the joint session have been given. There are multiple satellite maps of the Argis region and the Pan-Asiatic States as well as a full reconnaissance report on news coverage and a briefing prepared by PAS intelligence.”

They reached a pair of large wood-panelled doors just as the woman finished. As Ijonas regarded her, she seemed almost a child, really. She could not have been over her mid-twenties. “I appreciate it, comrade...”

“Laine, Eevi Laine, comrade. It is a pleasure, only doing my job.”

“Your-” Ijonas was left wondering about what exactly her “job” entailed, as she was already moving through the doors into a large plenary room bustling with life.

“This attack is utterly unacceptable!” The booming voice of a delegate rang through the room, as she brought her hand down to loudly contract with a pile of paper files: “We are sworn by treaty and conscience to defend our most loyal allies in the PAS either way, but the butchering of innocent civilians? All good Letwinists must move against the threat at once!”

“Dear delegates.” Ijonas had stepped up to the central microphone and his clipped voice was able to draw the attention of the men and women around him: “I come from the All-Union People’s Committee for Foreign Relations and Trade. They ask that we come to the immediate aid of our Asian comrades. I therefore ask the delegates’ approval to mobilise the forces of our Combat Navy’s Expeditionary Group, make for the Pan-Asiatic States and defend our friends.”

The People’s Administration of the Letwinist States has noted the completely unwarranted deaths of civilians in the Pan-Asiatic States at the hands of Andsed units most unfavourably.

Such actions are abhorrent gestures which show nothing but disdain harboured against innocent civilians. In consequence, the Union of Letwinist States utterly condemns such practices and this attack on the PAS in particular.

Human dignity is unimpeachable. More than a human right, it is the base of human coexistence. Unfortunately, when regarding a situation which escalates into means such as stated above, this undermines our very coexistence for the sake of imperialist gains and the demonstration of power.

Units of the Union’s Expeditionary Group of our Combat Navy have therefore been ordered to deploy and protect the PAS. We can only warn any and all potential aggressors from further escalating the situation and risking the united wrath of our people.

Rear-admiral Nikolai Sispentai watched grimly as the last of their Carrier Strike Group manoeuvred away from docking facilities of the Hiffsja Wall. From the command deck of his heavy aircraft carrier, the mighty Ihmisten Taistelulaivasto Alus Putsep Taja or People’s Combat Navy Ship Putsep Taja, he could see the surrounding ships and sea better than anyone aboard their accompanying four frigates or their corvette.

He had always liked the feeling of slowly drifting out of the safety of a naval base. Although they still had a long way to go, it felt as if the monstrous machines under him were starting to stretch their sleepy muscles as the ship started picking up pace.

Now he had best check on his guests, he was not at all certain whether or not to be thrilled at once again working side-by-side with a Commissar-General.

DARK PANTHER JOINS THE WAR!

After much fighting in the councils to join the war or not it was agreed when ally Pan-Asiatic States delegate mentioned that they needed allies. 25,000 land divisions were sent along with the black sea/newly Mediterranean sea fleet of 3,500 ships and a airforce of 2,500 were sent, planned to arive in two or three days it is to be seen if the missiles planed to be used in the saui asal civil war will be used. bombers were sent to all of NATO-bloc's major cities destroying much before being shot down

A STATEMENT FROM ANDSED

As many of you know Andsed launched an attack on the Pan-Asiatic States which killed 63 civilians this is what they had to say.

"Hello as many of you know we launched an attack on the Pan-Asiatic States which killed multiple civilians. We do apologize for this the attack meant to kill as few civilians as possible. But the attack was a response for a far worse crime on the part of the Pan-Asiatic States. Their crime? Well they used Sypris H3-91 "Zarathustra" Attack Helicopters to provokingly spread a wave of Chemical F91 "Death-Gas" upon strategic Nato-Bloc targets in Argisia. They launched an unprovoked attack with gas killing not just soldiers but a few civilians that were near by with gas which gave most of the dead a painful and brutal death. This is disgusting and Andsed will always codemm this sort of things thank you for your time."


OOC: Hey guys I am guessing some of the Nato-Bloc targets were near places were there were civilians right? Cause If not I will have to change it.

Xanadarian Fleet - Alfred il Xanadaria:

Andsed had misplayed.

Granted, Alfred had made mistakes too. One of the squads sent to attack the Andsed men within the cities had almost been wiped out by some C4 trap. Clever, but he wouldn't make the same mistake twice. Whenever they found the special forces hiding in one of the buildings, Alfred's men would now throw grenades inside to blow them up, rather than engage them directly. They still couldn't attack the artillery due to the helicopters, and his snipers and rocketers were well protected resulting in fewer casualties. And of course each time the special forces attacked, they would lose men. Eventually, they would no longer be a threat.

With the fighters that attacked the city, half of them had split off and were heading towards Alfred's aircraft carrier. There weren't many ships of his. Only the aircraft carrier and their escorts: two corvettes and two destroyers. But what Andsed didn't realize was that all of his ships were equipped with AA guns.

By the time Andsed's fighters had arrived, ninety of the Xanadarian fighters and thirty of their bombers were already in the air. Andsed's fighters did manage to take out six fighters and the two bombers which hadn't taken flight yet, but in doing so had left themselves exposed. The AA guns on all of the ships open fired at full power, which would undoubtedly devastate the Andsed fighters, if not destroy them entirely.

The Xanadarian fighters ignored the Andsed forces entirely, instead focusing on their bombers. They let loose a barrage of cannon fire, combined with the rocketers firing their rockets, this would most likely destroy the bulk of the enemy bombers. Without their airforces, this battle would be over very quickly. The Xanadarian bombers stayed out of the battle for now, sticking close to the Xanadarian naval vessels where they were protected by the AA guns.

As another small group of Andsed forces advanced, Alfred just shook his head. Easy prey. The Andsed bombers had taken out six of his artillery pieces, but he still had plenty more. Another round of high-explosive and armor piercing shells blasted towards the approaching Andsed forces, as snipers fired on the advancing infantry. This attack would be VERY costly for the Andsed armies, providing everything went according to plan.

Meanwhile in Xanadaria...

Reinforcements were loaded up onto Alfred il Xanadaria's eighth fleet, which had remained in Xanadaria. This included soldiers, tanks, artillery and MLRS, which would turn the tide of battle in Xanadaria's favor.

Elsewhere, the Xanadarian 1st fleet, comprised of two-hundred ships and which hadn't been deployed to an overseas conflict in years, began sailing towards the Pan-Asiatic States...

MISSILE STRIKES BY THE DARK PANTHER

Andsed cities has been striked by dark pantherian missiles when asked Prime Minister Aleksandr Ivanov said
"we are doing it do support our allies they bombed civilians so we destroyed builds and killed men as revenge as they as A EYE FOR A EYE!"

it is yet to be seen if WMDS will be used as the troops have not landed yet

The Andsed commander cursed seeing his forces getting hit hard he then received the report the cover was done. He ordered the artillery to open fire on the city he then ordered a retreat. Almost instantly his men began pulling back as the AA guns attacked any pursing fighters. He quickly counted his losses he had lost 2 tanks.

42 out of 60 of the fighters had been destroyed and 43 of the 50 bombers had been destroyed. He had lost contact with the special forces so he assumed most of them were dead. He had lost around 5 squads of soldiers so it did not look good. Luckily as the bombers pulled back they had dropped their bombs which did a number on the city which hopefully the artillery could exploit as they pounded the city.

His plan was simple have the artillery just keep pounding the city from behind their cover and have the AA guns with rockets troopers stop any attack by air. But he had also built cover for his infantry and tank so they could use that. He also knew reinforcements were on the way bringing more men, tanks,artillery pieces, and ammo.

So he decided to just dig in and have men stay in cover for and hoped some other nations would come to aid them.

The Grand Marshall of the nation of Provinci has decided to declare war on the nation of Yoannes for daring to take up arms against Pan-Asiatic States.

We will be sending to the frontline 50 X-22 Armoured Tanks, 4 battalions of Provincian Elite Guard, 120 X-7 Tactical Ballistic Missiles, and 50 Type-V3 class Bombers to aid in the fight against NATO-Bloc. We hereby side with the Communist Faction.

19/1/18- Communists have control of my old neighborhood. The rest was destroyed by a missile strike. I have to stay underneath my blanket, because another missile tore a hole in the building. The sounds of gunshots ring in my ears, as I wonder when the war will end. My life, it seems will end inevitably.
