AMPE News, Political Broadcast

Today our great monarch, King Julian Abbot the Fifth, has invited AMPE news to his home at the Glass Palace because he wishes to deliver a message to the world. His words are as follows.

People of the world! Hark!

I speak of dark times... dark times in our neighboring lands.

The peaceful people of the Green Union have been beaten down into depths deeper then any woman or man should ever have to face. They have been hit by Vilhalans!

These people are in no way leading to the success of the Green Union! They seek do destroy the peaceful community that once was a frozen north warm enough to live in.

To smile in. But no more do we smile.

There was a time when you could feel the warmth of friendship over those icy hills. But. Because of those Vilhalans, that warmth has been all but extinguished.

Now hear me, the Vilhalans are not the only threat that has hit this land! This land has been stripped away from it's oppressors, into the hands of the allies! Or so we thought.

Yes, I speak to you. Arcadians!

The Arcadians are a proud but ignorant race whose greed knows no bounds! They believe their way is the only way, but their way is perversion of peace, and blackening of beauty in the Green Union.

I now speak to the poor folks of Urlistan! The honorable peoples of Urlistan! Do not forget who you are!

For you are not Arcadians!

And I speak to the proud Calen of the rivers, and the Aras of the north! You fight an honorable fight!

Under the banners of many, and I speak of the ARF, I speak of the ARCC, I speak of the PAR and the AHK!

Under the banners of the free, and the kind, you fight for the Green Union!

You fight for the trees! Albatan has trees to.

You fight for the rivers! Albatan has many.

And you fight for the snow, the polar bear and the deer.

We, of Albatan, extend our hand and shake with the mighty green dragon, and the noble black deer!

We will see you freed from Vilhalans, we will see you freed from Arcadians, and we will see you free!

You heard it here first. But, will the Albatanian people follow their king? Only time will tell. AMPE news feel it must do it's part to raise spirits in the Green Union. As such, for all of today AMPE news radio will be playing the speech every half-hour between new-age-Albatanian-techno-funk-rave-dance hits.

John Jamenson: However, reports from our station inside the Kalaascovy Grand Syndicate (Kalaascovy Parliament) show that Unions within Kalaascovy's politics have voiced their support for Armin Jäger and some have even suggested armed intervention.

Diana Delorna: While we were not able to talk with other Syndic members, an ex- --static-- -sive interview with --static-- Kielson was given. Here's what he had to say

The television screen shifts to a back room with Kielson. Only for a mumbled question to be given by an unknown reporter.

Kielson: he begins talking underneath constant audio static until the translator picks up, in which case it completely vanishes

Translator: "I understand the conflict going on within the nation, and understand that Unions within our Syndicate also want to voice their support. But as it stands, as was as my own Union agree, that we just cannot enter this war. I will give amnesty to Armin Jäger should the fighting turn unwinnable, but if the Central Regions Union does not give full support I simply cannot go one way, or the other. While we still are recovering from our own blasted civil war means my hands are ultimately tied unless my Union gives their full support on the action."

The screen shifts back to Diana and John while Static slowly takes over the screen

Diana Delorna: "Well there you have it folks, Kielson is willing to give a amnesty to Armin Jäger, this could mean --static-- for the two countries, how about you --static--?

John Jamenson: briefly laughs "I'd say --long static--"

The screen finally becomes nothing but Static and the soldiers are forced to turn to another station. It is unknown if anyone else in the conflict was watching the broadcast.

Chancellor Jule Beaulne

It has been mere hours since the king of Albatan gave his speech on the late Green Union. As she stood at the podium she waited for her mark to start speaking. As she was given the okay once all news camera were on and rolling she spoke "Earlier, just a few hours ago many of you, and many people all over the world heard the king of Albatan talk on the late Green Union. The king of Albatan decries the Arcadian people and her empire, thinking the annexation of the Green Union was one of greed, instead of a mission of peace. He decries the colonial administration in Urlistan as assimilating the people to be Arcadians, when we only ask the people there for peace, many in the empire keep strong ties to thier colony and the empire at the same time. He decries you as oppressed when you have rights of an Arcadian citizen. I assure the world and the people of Urlistan we are there for peace."

A response to the foreign statements on the situation in the Green Union has finally been released by the Congress of the Green Union. Until this point the government had been silent, raising speculation that the ARCC attack of yesterday may have prompted the CGU into action.

The Congress has condemned the Albatanian pretender king's calls to destroy the free land of the Green Union. His pro-terrorism and anti-freedom rhetoric, though toothless coming from a country so small and insignificant as Albatan, may nonetheless lend credibility to the anti-democratic conspiracies which currently exist in the Communist terrorist states in Markion.

As well, the government has expressed its disappointment at the words out of Kalaascovy expressing support for the terrorist leader Armin Jäger. Mr. Jäger is a known fanatic whose countless crimes have been well reported on by the free and objective Green Union news organizations. His organization, the so-called ARF, has been convicted of acts of sabotage, extortion, kidnapping, and murder, to name just a few. That the government of Kalaascovy would openly declare support for such a man should be enough to completely delegitimize the regime, and the CGU is calling on all countries to decry the country as a Communist terrorist empire.

Finally, the CGU has spoken out against the grasping octopus which is the Arcadian empire. This empire has betrayed the trust of the free world by assuming control of the Green Union state of Urlistan in a free and fair business transaction, only to turn their backs on the free people by oppressing the local population and militarizing Urlistan for use as a staging base for a future invasion of the remaining free Green Union. The Arcadian administration has allowed havens for anti-Congress terrorists under the guise of "accepting refugees" and actively worked to tear out the cornerstones of Green Union life by introducing pro-Arcadian propaganda into classrooms, even going so far as to change the official name of the local population to better suit their colonial needs. The CGU calls on the remaining free countries to stand with the Green Union against this most pressing of threats to her national sovereignty.

Destruction, requesting to dock in territory held by the ARF and to donate supplies." He continues saying, "We wish to meet with Armin Jäger and donate this battleship to your cause. If Jäger joins us on our return home, we will be more than willing to donate more and more stockpiles. While we cannot give our name, know that we wish to be of great use to you all"

Unspecified Northern Commune, Arasland:

There is radio silence for a long time from the commune, contributing to the limbo of not knowing. Time ticks by, making the ship's command ponder sending the radio message again, or perhaps flashing a visual signal from one of the vessel's dated signal lamps.

Finally, though, the message is returned. There is no acknowledgement of the message sent. There is just a command, sent in a shaky young voice.

"R.K.W. Destruction, please move into dock and prepare to be boarded."

The procedure went smoothly enough. The old dreadnought moved into the ice-frosted bay, two small tugs sputtering out of the commune to come meet it. If anyone were to examine the port they were approaching they would see that the commune was in fact larger than many in the region. Just under twenty two-story buildings were huddled together beyond the single wooden pier, as if shielding themselves against the brutal offensive of the winter. They were old buildings, weathered by the elements, with snow drifts piled high in alleys and along walls where they had been blown by the furious wind. It must be an extremely strong wind, too; the single small flag which flew over a central building was whipping to and fro, as if it were trying to escape its staff.

Image
But the flag is not familiar

The bay must have been tended to recently, since the bay itself was not completely frozen over. A carving of thinner ice snaked its way from the open ocean to the port, the result of an icebreaking operation perhaps a day ago. The icebreaker, a small orange boat clearly belonging to the community, was tied up in port next to the vessel it had no doubt escorted in, a Himmelsdorf-Class frigate of the old Royal Loyalist Navy. The R.K.W. Destruction passed along this path with its soot-stained escorts, necessitated due to the ship's age and size, with only minor scraping and grinding.

It was only just before being tied up at the dock that more obvious hints appeared to suggest that something was off. Figures on the pier suddenly materialized, working quickly with bowed heads to secure the vessel. Soldiers in military fatigues and reflective vests stood farther back, watching the proceedings from the snowy shore. They were unarmed, for now. The tugs were on the other side, blocking the battleship from drifting, or fleeing.

Once the ship is fully secured the workers clear the pier and the tugs move away. The group of soldiers grows until they number perhaps two dozen, many now with rifles. They start forward, coming up to beside the bound warship. A staircase is brought up against the ship as the radio onboard crackles again.

"R.K.W. Destruction, you are being detained on behalf of the government of the Green Union. You have twenty minutes to surrender your entire crew to the security personnel waiting outside. After this time security will board your ship and detain any stragglers."

"Don't try anything."

As the Arcadian said this, the sound of engines could be heard. Rainer paused when he stopped talking and listened... helicopters? The QRF?

"So you've been trapped here since the start of all this? Months? And you have full communications with your boys back home? Either way mate, you're still getting handed over to the Greenies. Speaking of Greenies, they did this? Surely they would've called in an airstrike on the area rather than waste troops going to some random northern commune, I don't believe it."

As Samson finished two VTOLs, the source of the noise, were in sight.

"Good lord, did they send the whole company? Looks like our ride's here... I'll give you one last chance before we search the camp and haul you off to a C-Sec cell to have who knows what done to you, they might even break you. I promise we will get you back home safe and sound, back to your family, don't you want to see them again?"

The VTOLs began to land, deploying what looked like to Rainer, more PMCs, these ones had logos on them.

The whole system here is corrupt. Call the watch."

Cpl.Lucas Feinberg, 809th Irregular Forces Battalion

He listened over the watch and soon turned onto a different channel and spoke "Is Green 5, our surveyors are in trouble." This was a code to command that they were in trouble and if they can try to talk it out. He soon spoke "Standby" as he switched back to Husch's channel.

“Fuck.” Was the only words the Captain could give. “We fell into a trap or we came too late.”
The Captain signed, but he knew this was an Imperial Ship. Through the aged intercom which would send a message down below he sprang a message which couldn’t be heard in his native tongue “We’re being boarded. All men, ignite one engine and prepare to burn your clothing. This is an imperial vessel so old uniforms should be in found. I’ll be heading to the captain’s quarters to change my clothing. I DEMAND you all do the same, all who are not in imperial era uniforms within the next 10 minutes should expect to be murdered by our friends.” There was a clear sign of sarcasm from the Captain and distaste in the word. “Do not, and I repeat do not make yourself visible. Remain below deck until you are in IMPERIAL ERA UNFORMS. Burn everything otherwise.”
There was a sign of panic in his breath and he finally let go, quickly running from the bridge to the captain’s quarters. Avoiding him being seen from outside. The captain’s quarters were aged but had a relatively worn but pristine uniform within a closet. These were part of Keilson’s plan after all.

The ship was equipped with several naval assets from the imperial era should the ship get captured. The ship’s name was never changed as well, for if the ship got boarded all crew were to switch uniform and play like “imperial refugees.” The most suspicious thing of it all would have to be the ship, since she was saved from the scrapyard the ship was old, the scrapyard also visually aged her. But the captain knew how to play this on his favor, say they’d been running since the Civil War ended, the Captain had pure white hair all over and looked like a veteran. The skeleton crew was on the younger end, with some holding no gray hair, but they could easily be considered Kalaascovy deserters.

The Captain looked into the mirror, repeating lines he rehearsed “All hail Kroměřov! The Empire of the Arctic! May the Emperor’s rule be long! May the Empire’s grasp be eternal!” The Captain seemed pleased with himself, although he had to figure out a story for why they tried to give weapons and wanted to take Armin. “Bounty, yes there’s no doubt that there’s a bounty on his head in some country. That’s our story”

The Captain began to work his way to the bridge, remaining out of sight.

"My fellow Emerstarians, I recently assumed office..." he began. Then, eager to end his speech, Eswel finished, "Therefore, the Royal Military will be aiding our ally, Arcadia, with operations in the region...

"Sweep the area and get some people in that camp with gas masks, start extinguishing the flames."

"Yes sir!"

Samson looked back at the Aracadian whose face seemed a lot more serious.

"My suspicion of Arcadians gets the better of me sometimes after all your country is responsible for a lot of disgusting acts... I should not judge all of you by the actions of others, right?"

Samson took the watch out of his pocket.

"LT! Take this, put it in the safe box in the VTOL."

"What is it sir?"

"Nothing of your concern, mercenary. You're paid to do what I say, not ask questions."

"Very good sir."

The LT jogged off to the VTOL. Samson turned to Rainer and smiled graciously.

PMCs began extinguishing flames as they moved through the fire, however, it was thick and they were making slow progress although they had found the corpse of what was presumed to be a member of the AHK. Samson looked on for a moment, and after a moment of silence, the Arcadian asked him to untie him and his partner. Samson knelt down near the pair.

"We'll see what we find first, we'll take you to our base and then depending on what we find here we'll probably just release you back to the Arcadians, no need to worry yourselves. I have to push you to get the information I want and I have to be thorough too, you understand, no? You'll be nice and warm in no time."

As Samson spoke PMC patrols swept the area surrounding the camp, they neared ever closer and closer to Feinberg's position. It was either going ot be a close call or everything was about to fall apart.

"I'll ask you this before you go, do you know about any more groups of natives out here? And did you know anyone from this camp?"

He was gambling with some C-Sec soldiers in the barracks. They had yet to be assined to any platoon and were just goofing around. He looked at his cards. A pair of aces.
"A Case of Reds." He said pushing a case of Marlboro reds into the middle of the table. Some other soldiers slid in some random stuff they had and continued to play. "Aces!" He said flipping the cards. Before he could finish a Sargent walked in.
"J'ai tes devoirs." He said in french. "Jason Daniels. Vous devez être affecté à la 2ème Division, à la 4ème Compagnie, au 12ème Régiment, à la Sécurité Mécanisée que vous devez immédiatement rapporter à votre commandant." Most higher ranking officers spoke english but some decided to stick to their routs and speek french. It annoyed him but he had lived here before and spoke broken french but most of it was spot on. He slid the carton into his kit and got up and walked with the officer to another room. A worn-looking officer stood at his desk waiting.
"Hello Pvt. Welcome to the 4th Company. Im assinging you to the 12th Regiment, Mechanized Security. Do you have all of your equipment?"
"Yes sir. Right here sir." He had his Combat Vest and sidearm. He removed them along with his helmet leaving the rest of his kit in the bag.
"Good. Very well prepared. I was reading through your file and you had a very good service career as a Sevevill Marine. I hope you can serve us well. Your Regiment is staying here tonight. You get your orders tomorrow. Go to the armory and get yourself a rifle and meet the members of your Regiment." The officer said.
"Yes Sir." He turned picking up his equipment and walking down to the armory. The man in the armory handed him a FAL rifle. He inspected it making sure it was clean and everything worked. He also picked up five clips and some extra bullets loading them into his Combat vest before walking out to find the 12th regiment. They were over by some heavy looking trucks. He walked up to the group.
"Hey. Im Pvt. Jason Danials. I was told I was assigned here."

The Congressional government of the Green Union has responded with anger to news of Emestarian forces landing in Urlistan, a sovereign nation and member of the Green Union currently under illegal occupation by Arcadian forces. The CGU has suggested that Mr. Howes reconsider supporting Arcadia in its empire-building, and save his government from being remembered as one which helped to subjugate the Green Union people.

In an odd display, pirate radio transmissions from the ARF and ARCC have also reached the outside world condemning the actions of Emerstari. C-Sec has reported that they use radio jammers to block propaganda from these terrorist groups, but legitimate opinions (which these statements are).

The PAR in Urlistan has released an anonymous video online similarly condemning the action. In it Sarah Green, leader of the organization, called out the Emerstarian deployment from a wood-paneled room with the old flag of Urlistan in the background. She warned that, though the Green Union has historically had no quarrel with Emerstari, the PAR will see the country's forces in the country as an extension of Arcadian will. She thus advised for Emerstarian forces to remain in their bases and content themselves to support tasks in order to ensure their safety.

The new flag, used by the Commonwealth of Urlistan

The rebel group, which has seen its activities in southern Urlistan drastically decrease over the last months, has also rearticulated its self-declared checklist of goals. In order, they are:
- Restore the flag of free Urlistan as the official state flag
- Restore the denonym of our people, and stop calling the Amlug 'Arcadians'
- Change the name 'Capitol' to the proper English 'Capital'
- Restore control of the means of production to the workers of Urlistan
- Locate King Wolfe VI, and restore him as king of Urlistan
- Remove the Arcadian garrison from Urlistan
- Remove the NTDF and restore the AMG militia
- Leave the Arcadian Empire
- Take back the Green Union and reforge the Union

The PAR has encouraged the GRA and CDU in general to work cooperatively with them to accomplish these goals, and to negotiate in the name of peace in the Green Union.

Kalaascovy wrote:“Fuck.” Was the only words the Captain could give.

Unspecified Northern Commune, Arasland:

The soldiers had given the ship's crew twenty minutes to comply with their wishes, but chose to instead board the vessel immediately after they first saw the unhealthy fumes billowing from the exhaust funnels. It was too late, of course, and the by the time Green Union troops had found their way to the engine room the machine which had been set ablaze was already burned beyond recognition. All they could do was have the sailors they'd found seal the bulkhead doors, trying to preserve the rest of the ship. They had lost valuable time, allowing the sailors to destroy their old uniforms before being taken.

The soldiers which secured the deck and bridge had more success, stopping anyone from manning the ship's weapons and preventing any escape. Three infantry rushed up the stairs, forcing their way into the bridge. But, like their counterparts below decks, they were too late to catch anyone out of place. The door was kicked down to the sight of a Kroměřov Imperial bridge crew, complete with their captain.

Rifles went up, coming to rest squarely on the pompously dressed officer. All was silent for a moment before the lead soldier stepped forward.

"You're the one in charge here?" she demanded angrily, "You're coming with me."

The Captain was escorted off the ship, past his sailors who were being herded at gunpoint out from below decks. Many were dressed in thin work clothes and shivered in the biting cold, but none were permitted to lower their hands to brace themselves against the winter. The soldiers watched them with a mix of amazement and anger. If one did not know the C-Sec they may even call the expressions of the young women and men something stronger. Perhaps it was fear.

OOC: As you have seen, I'm prioritizing macro RP and events which actually have an impact on the course of this war. The small groups are more of a "get to it when I get to it" situation which I will still answer but not as consistently. After the main macro RP of the war is over we will wrap up any outlying character storylines, provided people are still around then.

Lt. Col. Ragnvald Lundburg sat with Heider and his fellow Emerstarian, Charles Halst around a table discussing how the NFRE will aid Arcadia in their war effort. The officers addressed several topics including plans regarding the housing of the Emerstarian battalion and how the Royal Military will support the Arcadian war effort. Once the meeting concluded, Lundburg and Halst walked to the Battalion Command's living space. Then, one of the Communication Officers approached the Lt. Col.
"Sir," one of the Communication Staffers said, "we've received numerous messages from Urlistinians and other groups within the former Green Union."
"Forward them to the War Council," Lundburg ordered whilst listening to the communications.
"Yes, sir," the Communication Staff proceeded to do so. Lundburg then rested in one of the seats and listened to the remainder of the transmission.

His escort split up and flanked the President on both sides of his chair, they had reached the rendezvous, the War Room. President Eswejl sat at the head of the table with the King to his left and Chief Lieutenant Nicholaus Petersen to his right. Several other statesmen sat at the table, as well. "Your Excellency," the Secretary of Defense stated. "Our soldiers on the front have received transmissions from several groups."

After much review of the messages, the President rose from his seat, "I believe we should remain in a support role to Arcadia. I do not believe in all their plans for the region, however, I do support the majority of it. Meeting adjourned." His security team proceeded to escort him out of the room.

Ltcol. Ägidius Heider, Base Liaison Officer, Central Command Detachment

He walked into the command center, and watched as the Emerstari military detachment set up their equipment. He had the schedule of patrols heading out into Puffin Point to relieve soldiers already in the city. He walked up to the Emertari Lieutenant colonel and spoke "We need a few squads to relieve patrols out in Puffin point, could yo usend three squads over?" The Foreign Legion has been handling most of the patrols since it would put foreign boots on the ground since the natives were hostile to Arcadian forces. Tomorrow was a planned ceremony of the Emerstari flag being raised next to the Arcadian flag. It was going to be small, but it would show more forces have arrived in the new colony.

President Redtide made an announcement today that the Confederate States of Durradon wishes to enter an arms deal with the Congress of the Green Union for a period as long as 3 years. The deal, currently, is worth around 300 billion cromels and includes training, small arms, missile defence systems, as well as communications and cybersecurity technology and even automated infantry. The CSD hopes this will strengthen the bond between the two great nations and also assist in the eradication of the communist terrorists. Just passing through the streets of the Green Union's ancient capital, it would be hard to believe there was a war on. Everywhere you looked the machine of progress seemed to be working in overtime; roads were being widened, buildings were being remodeled, and new businesses were opening on every corner. For the first time in as long as anyone could remember billboards for Vilhalan corporations were going up over every street, advertising everything from hamburgers to "human resources".

The Durradonian emissaries are sped through all this in a sleek black limousine, a Vilhalan model. Alongside, Himmelsdorf's privatized police provided two escorts. An unfortunate precaution, they had been told, but still less than you would need in some "peaceful" terrorist states.

The best example of this progress was probably the new government building. The terminus of their journey, the Green Union Congress was an impressive new glass building which had been constructed on the burned remains of the old Parliament buildings. To the untrained eye the building may look more like a corporate headquarters than a centre for government, a feeling which persisted as the VIPs were bundled out of the car and up the stairs into the decidedly business-looking lobby and up a decidedly business-looking elevator.

They were to meet with President Harry Turner himself in a decidedly business-look boardroom. The man wanted guns, and he wanted Durradon to provide them.

Himmelsdorf, the Green Union

Through a process of elimination, three companies were chosen to present their stocks to the President: VOLT Systems, Mortuk and Terminus Arms. VOLT Systems is a well known and main supplier of Durradonian arms to the Armed Forces of the Confederacy. Their weapon's research division has revolutionised the arms industry with new energy actuated weaponry and experimental ammunitions. VOLT Systems presented many weapons already used by the CSD's army and recieved many recommendations from Confederate Army officials.

Mortuk on the other hand made a short, snappy and to the point presentation, making a very clear point that if President Turner wants weapons that are reliable, powerful and do the job, he should choose Mortuk. The Mortuk representative also drew much attention to the MD-2025, an Orcotian-Krotalvan co-developed rifle and current service rifle of the Orcotian based armies, boasting of it's rugged reliability and having almost no issues dealing with the extreme weather conditions of the Congressional Green Union, pointing out that Orcot is a similar if not worse climate than the CGU.

Finally Terminus Arms, a smaller but respected company in the CSD, made themselves known on that morning, showing while their weaponry may be slighly more expensive than most, they offer extremely good value for money. The MH9 sidearm, the current service pistol of the AFC, is what made Terminus Arms the company they are today and are popular with the civilians and citizens of the Confederacy for self defence. Terminus showed many of their lesser known porducts today, but they are confident that they will meet expectations.

Green Union Congress Building, Himmelsdorf, the Green Union:

The president of the Green Union was not a normal citizen. Besides being a successful entrepreneur in a country which was historically hostile to such things, the old CEO just didn't look the part of a Green Union citizen. He was lacking the dark skin and hair common to the region, instead having a pale complexion and wispy blond hair more reminiscent of his family's homeland in the Vice Arcadian Republic. But without knowing who it was it would be easy to confuse the president for any Vilhalan-registered corporate leader, which he also was.

Harry Turner was a businessman first and a politician second, and he immediately saw value in the proposals of VOLT Systems and Terminus Arms. Opining the FAL-V rifles and hi-power pistols the guards around Congress are currently forced to carry, the man showed interest in signing a deal to acquire a small number of VD40 and VD20 energy-actuated rifles and MH9 pistols for trial purposes with the Congressional Security forces in the immediate vicinity of Himmelsdorf. This force needed state-of-the-art equipment now, as shown by the horrible car bomb terrorist attack of recently.

The Green Union's new head of state seemed prepared to completely ignore Mortuk, but the military officials also in the room were interested in acquiring a new weapon to replace the FAL-V on the Arctic frontlines. They requested the ability to test up to two thousand MD-2025 rifles, nearly four times as many as the VD20 and VD40s combined, for combat trials against the ARF in the far north.

The Green Union wrote:An event which the congressional government of the Green Union is calling terrorism has taken place today in the country's capital city of Himmelsdorf. Local media and law enforcement were notified around noon by anonymous phone calls that an explosive-laden van had been parked mere blocks from Congress, and had been rigged to detonate at 6:00, during the evening rush hour.

C-Sec forces soon located the vehicle in question and established a lockdown of the entire downtown core. A bomb squad was brought in to assess the threat, using a remotely-piloted robot to approach the van. All foreign media was removed from the area before the C-Sec attempted to open the vehicle itself, but around 4:30 an explosion was heard from the area of the investigation. The CGU has confirmed that the explosives concealed within the van were indeed triggered by the bomb robot opening the back doors of the vehicle, but that the blast was relatively weak and, besides destroying the bomb robot, caused minimal damage to surrounding property. C-Sec says nobody was injured in the terrorist attack.

The ARCC has claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it intended to demonstrate the weakness of C-Sec and the CGU government during this period of Albatan and Kalaascovy voicing sympathy for rebel movements.

This attack is similar to another carried out months ago in Puffin Point, Urlistan, by the PAR in protest of the Arcadian administration.

Congressional Security Forces have announced the arrest of three suspects in connection with the Himmelsdorf bomb attack. Early morning today power was cut to a city block in the suburbs of Himmelsdorf, covering the approach of armoured personnel carriers. Still dark, the C-Sec silently surrounded a town house before breaching suddenly. The raid was noted by neighbours who recorded the incident on mobile devices. Also recorded was when the C-Sec forces reemerged twenty minutes later having made three arrests, all young men in their twenties.

Rebel media linked to the ARCC has said that the civilians detained during the raid were in no way connected to the group, and that the members which actually carried out the attack have long since been back safely at ARCC safehouses.

With contracts signed and deals made, the companies walked away happy that they were all getting a slice of the deal. The CSD had not done much bussiness with the GU in long time, so this was somewhat of a historic moment for both the nations and sent a message across Markion. What that message was could be interpreted differently by different nations, either way, the situation looked grim for the rebels of all factions. With high tech weaponry and equipment now being moved into the country it may further push the war in favour of the Congressional Security Forces.

OOC: GU are you going to continue with the storylines within the GU with my special operation teams?

AHK Controlled territory

Stg. Rainer Husch, 809th Irregular Forces Battalion

He spoke "We got separated from two of our team members and a small native girl that we payed. I dont know where out other team members went, we lost them a few days ago. So can you untie us?

Sergeant Samson Carwin

"No."

Samson nodded at the mercenaries and a fireteam came and brought the Arcadians to their feet and moved them to the second VTOL to be taken away.

"While I have enjoyed our conversation, we've got a long way before you guys are getting out of chains," he turned to the mercenary LT who had returned from the VTOL "get these men back to the mine, put them in the MPCs for transport."

"Yes sir!"

The Arcadians were taken away. The squads extinguishing the flames were finally making progress and finding more bodies... just as the Arcadian Sergeant and his fellow soldier reached the transport, a patrol called out.

"We've found someone!"

Rainer froze... Feinberg.

Nuuscow, Kalaascovy
As news of the deal reached Kalaascovy, and lack of response for the crew sent to the Green Union to send aid, left Vladimir Kielson is a situation that looked grim.
The KRO (Kalaascovy Revolutionary Office) became tasked with a new mission related to the civil war in the Green Union, find Jäger, and this time directly and make a deal for weapons. Within Kalaascovy, the arms commission act was brought up in their Grand Syndicate in a closed session (aka, anybody that isn't part of the Syndicate is not allowed in), the issue was to increase weapons production for "self defense" with government contractors being decided.

The Green Union wrote:
Kalaascovy wrote:“Fuck.” Was the only words the Captain could give.

Unspecified Northern Commune, Arasland:
The Captain followed obediently, knowing that if he tried anything his crew would be slaughtered and he as well. But he was willing to give some arguments as well.

"So why have you seized my ship exactly? Even come aboard early? Our engines are rusted and ages, those things are primed to explode if they are suddenly shut off. You know that right?"
The captain makes no strides to hide his accent, but it's largely due to his accent being "Old Kalaascovian" which is shared by most of the Kalaascovian elderly, it also hides itself well as another nation's accent.

Upon seeing a building near the harbor painted in pure black, he silently shut up, although the distance from the harbor to the building was only within eyesight of each other if it wasn't for the fact a snowstorm was going on.

OOC: Hello all, I am glad to be part of this interesting RP. Anyways feedback is welcome.
SIC:
3:00 PM Pygros
Mr. President, even seven months after the invasion and installation of the puppet government by Vilhala. The Humanitarian situation in the Green Union continues to deteriorate, Meanwhile, the Loyalists and various other movements continue to grow more active and more brazen. Henricus Maro said. Thank you, Mr. Maro, for this new information, while we have been keeping an eye on the conflict since its beginning I believe we can no longer stand idly by. I will make some calls, you’re dismissed. The President picked up the phone and said please get me, Speaker Greer.
9:00 PM Pygros, Closed Session of Parliament*.
We will now bring bill 001 Authorization of Military Force against the Congress of the Green Union to a vote, said the Speaker of the House.
Bill 001
Authorization of Military Force Against
The Congress of The Green Union

The Republic of Altos and Stratis Shall provide all necessary military support and aid to the Armée pour la Restauration de la Couronne Calen (Army for the Restoration of the Calen Crown) to bring about the return of the legitimate government to the Green Union. This includes but is not limited to the destruction and removal of the Puppet Government, the expulsion of foreign troops and mercenaries, and the prosecution of crimes against the international laws of war (if there are any to be found).

MPs you may now record your vote by electronic device, this is a 15-minute vote said the speaker. *gavel thump* One by one the MPs began to record their votes electronically.
As the voting window drew to a close it was not surprising that the vote went along party lines. While the Rationality Party near unanimously approved the measure the rest of the Conservative Coalition had voted to reject the measure. While the Loyal Opposition consisting of the Patriot Party and National Civic Union, along with the Crossbench and Leading Monarchist Party voted to approve the measure.
Just as the voting was about to close one of the Republic of Altos and Stratis First (RSAF) MPs had an outburst “Why are we going to help the f**king communists!!” he shouted to his fellow MPs. It seems that the Congress of the Green Union has supporters even abroad. As the RSAF MP was having his outburst voting had drawn to a close and the results were displayed for all to see, 1,152 to 648. The motion is passed, the speaker had to shout above the angry chorus that opposed the bill.
Now that the bill had passed the House of Commons it was now headed for the Senate for another vote, the Senate vote went down the same party lines that it had in the House of Commons. It passed this hurdle as well 192 to 108.
*Proceedings are classified and do not become public knowledge.

The Kalaascovians don't seem to be the only ones nervous about this CSD-CGU arms deal. Today a message from the exiled Parliament of the Green Union (PGU) in Placeoderms has been directed at the government of Durradon, asking for a meeting at the Kamooko Pact headquarters in Kamooko, Placeoderms.

The language of the request is flat, not suggesting the tone it was written in. The timing, however, leaves little to doubt what the PGU wants to discuss.
A confederation of three nations and their Arctic territory, currently torn apart by competing interests.
Calendôr is in the GU heartland, located along the Green River. Francophone, it is the most urban nation. Dominated by boreal forests.
Urlistan covers the west coast and mouth of the Green River. English speaking, it is a rocky country based with industry and culture based around the sea. Currently under the control of the Arcadian Empire.
Arasland is a large northern landmass dominated by rocky forests and, above the treeline, tundra. Speaking several dialects of Emerstarian and Arcadian German, and culturally dominated by small family clans.
