''So, what are we doing now?'' One of council members asked to Father America

''We are going to vote about an one decision- to intervene in Elvectican affairs, or not.''

After that, whole council went full with sounds of talking people. Representatives from five continents, and 7 Regions had came to meeting in central headquarters in Washington, to decide, what to do.

''We have said, that we support VEXA, but we haven't sent any aid to them, and still keep neutrality in possible conflict.'' One from members of European Frontier said.

''No, we must help our allies!'' A man from African Frontier said. ''Our men spirit will surely be a good aid to them!''

''Don't be silly, old man.'' A young man from Center America said. ''We are so behind in tech, that our aid wouldn't help VEXA very much. In fact, our space technology is still too weak for interstellar travelling! Even Voyager 1 hasn't got out from the Solar system yet, despite the fact, that it is our fastest tech in space currently, and has been in the space for 30 years already! I think, that we must keep neutrality in action, and support VEXA in words. Also, VEXA said itself, that our support to them is enough.''

''Okay, enough talking.'' Supercomputer Tom said. ''Let's vote.''

After a vote, results were:

Should we intervene?
Yes: 17%
No: 83%

''Okay, one thing has been done.'' Father America said. ''Let's be neutral, if a possible conflict breaks out, but support VEXA in words.''

Entronium has finnaly begun to lay down a couple of base and a plan of action, their plan? To find VEXA s main headquarters and destroy it. " we have so meny ways we could launch astroid using the CRS but we would have to know exactly where " the Commander had said so now the troops would begin to set foot on world in a remote and deserted part of the world, since they used the titan machines in under a day construction was already complete as far ranged artillery was delivered to the forts. Then the search for the corporation's main command center had begun.

Slavonian forces are prepared to engage but don’t do so, because their mission is to apply pressure. They begin to perform training exercises, simulating sieges and a variety of other large attacks around the military bases they constructed. It was clear the soldiers were getting rather bored of waiting around for VEXA to attack, but the officers were more than happy to sit back and wait.

As Admiral Lastousk said, Slavonian forces were ready to engage. Whether this meant they were prepared for VEXA attacks or prepared to do more than just exert pressure was unclear.

Meanwhile, on the planet of Püstyn, also known as the Ausari homeworld, the Defence Forces were busy preparing their first truly large operation under the Republican Government. A pair of Ylora-class Carriers sat in dry-dock, with construction crews working on the the two warships around the clock. While these ships were mainly used in warfare, this was actually not one of those times; engineers had disabled the carriers' main guns, and the fighters stored inside were moved into colossal hangars. In their place, medical supplies, water, food and pieces of prefab homes were all anyone could see; given the monstrous size of the vessels, it truly was a huge amount of space to take up.

Looking around the docks, one would also see (or not see) a very surprising lack of marines. At the absolute most, there were a few companies shared between the sister ships - a far cry from the several brigades that each of the ships would normally carry. Once the ships were ready, they would be sent to Orbis Terrarum City to give the supplies on board to civilians and any Coalition units that may be present. Despite Prime Minister Aavik's insistence that the Army should also have some presence on Orbis Terrarum in case of an escalation, both the Army and the Navy seemed to be dragging their feet; it seemed that possible military action wasn't popular with everyone.

''You can't do this!'' The same Afrikaner representative begged to Father America. ''We need to send some aid to our allies. Who knows, what they will think of us, if we will refuse to help them?''

''Calm down. I will think out of something.'' Father America said. ''Robot soldiers could serve well in place of humans.''

''Robotic soldiers... Really?'' Afrikaner man was indignant. ''Do you don't believe in our soldiers?''

''I believe in them, but they are valuable! We can theoretically make a thousands, if not million robotic soldiers on conveyor, while human soldiers take a time to train, and are harder to replace! Everything will be OK.''

Underground planning room, below White House, Washington D.C.
''So, how much aid we will send to VEXA?'' American general said.

''Nothing much, just a three divisions.'' Father America said.

''How big they will be?'' Senior commander asked.

''One division will be 15 000 robot high, 45 000 robots will be sent in total.'' Father America said.

''Are you insane?'' Senior commander objected. ''We haven't got so much robot soldiers, to threw them away in a some conflict! 45 000 robots would be almost 25% of all our robotic troops!''

''Ohh, okay. Then divisions will have 10 000 robots, and their total amount will be 30 000. Deal?''

''Deal.'' Senior commander said.

''But wait,we promised to be neutral in this conflict!'' One from veterans said.

''Rest of our army will not fight in the conflict, but those robots will count as volunteer divisions.'' Father America calmed the veteran. ''After all, it wouldn't be nice to just turn our back on those, who we support, but it wouldn't be sane to put too much eggs in that basket, right?''

The war general was a bit embarrassed at the fact that there where no known enemy bases on world that were known. "Ok people we're switching to defensive stratagies now! And yes that means we won't see an asteriod crash into something."the general had told them they reared their main cannons pointing towards space awaiting the enemy, they then began immediate construction on 'space range towers which are basically 143 foot tall towers that fire either projectiles or energy beams towards enemy ships. They begin training for the worst simulating diffrent strategic plans that could be used against them.

The loyalists of Queen Marianne Bordeaux II, her allies, and VEXA are sending an ultimatum towards The Coalition to cease military and diplomatic activities.

Office of HER GLORIOUS CEO wrote:The terrorists of the Coalition and their co-conspirators have 48 hours to send back a message that they have ceased foreign activities. If they do not respond with the appropriate response, we, the loyalists of Queen Marianne Bordeaux and VEXA will have no choice but to declare war towards all supporting nations. That is all.

As this ultimatum was sent, VEXA officially starts mobilizing forces from out of the system and inches closer to Elvectican borders on Orbis. Neighboring countries of Elvectica have no power, and submit to VEXA's invasion forces.

Good evening!

Those robots, that we sent to you, can be quite powerful, if they are equiped with your weapons. Those robots can also be used as suppressors of protests- Just remember to give them non lethal weapons, or else someone in protest might be seriously hurt... Especially, if someone attacks one from the robots- then all other robots, who are around, will get angry, and will start to attack all protesters, no matter, if they are peaceful, or not.

The Albalian government wished they were surprised by VEXA's ultimatum, though many expected that something like that would happen. However, their ultimatum had the opposite effect than desired, showing the once-reluctant Albalians once after all, that VEXA and Queen Marianne were committed to going to war against the Coalition. The two unarmed and undermanned carriers had already left port without an escort, travelling to Orbis Terrarum and the Army was yet to mobilise basically any men for the upcoming conflict.

Of course, the Navy was quick to pick up the Army's slack; a full-strength carrier fleet was almost ready, its crew and marines raring to go. The marines accompanying the fleet were simply meant as a stop-gap - their job was to hold the line at Orbis Terrarum until the overwhelming personnel and matériel resources of the Army could be deployed. As such, they were ill-equipped for offensive operations.

In the National Assembly, a fierce debate raged on regarding the issue. The chamber which had been split just days before was now almost completely united in their desire to go to war.
"-can't expect our men and women to fight and die for a country that doesn't matter in any way to us!" one voice emerged from all the others, its owner absolutely resolute in his stance.
Immediately, another voice called out with the same confidence and strength, "They're our allies and our friends! How would you feel if we were abandoned to face an enemy alone?!"
"That's what the Great Schism was!" the voice from before retorted, getting more full of venom with each word.
"Besides, we have a non-aggression pact with their government!" a third voice shouted. "Queen Marianne is the head of that government, and we can't go breaking pacts! Imagine how that'll make us look!"
"In fact, I would say that the change in Elvectica's government renders the terms of the pact void! Besides, are we going to let another country suffer under an absolute monarch like Queen Tarin did to us?!" Many politicians who were once quiet suddenly stood up and cheered in agreement. It was deafening.

"ORDER!" a booming voice came out from the massive wooden and marble desk in the centre of the chamber. Immediately, the chamber became so silent that they could drop a pin and everyone would hear it. Prime Minister Aavik stood at that desk, holding a stack of gold-bordered papers with the insignia of the President on the cover sheet. "Thank you." he gestured to an assistant at the edge of the room, and after a few seconds a green light shone at all of the room's entrances. Cameras appeared from hidden slots in the walls, so well-hidden that not even some newer politicians knew they were there before. Aavik took a deep breath, cleared his throat and nodded to the assistant.

A soft but loud voice came from the side of the Prime Minister, "people of Albali and members of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister of the Republic." This was common for the start of official broadcasts which would interrupt every other broadcast in the country.

Prime Minister Rhios Aavik wrote:People of Albali, members of the National Assembly, and members of the Senate. Five days ago, this Assembly and I delivered an ultimatum to Her Esteemed Majesty Queen Marianne Bordeaux the Second, stating that unless she step down from the throne and restore Queen Adecyn to her rightful place, then Albali would respond appropriately and proportionally. I regret to inform you that Her Esteemed Majesty sent an ultimatum, of her own, to Albali and to our fellow members in the Coalition.

As such, I can tell you now that the conditions of our own ultimatum have not been met, nor will they be met. VEXA has also undertaken a surprise offensive extending throughout the area in which Elvectica is based; numerous neutral countries have fallen to their aggression - these facts speak for themselves. The people of Albali have already formed their opinions and well understand the implications to the very life and safety of our nation. As Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Navy, President Astela Valbe has directed that all measures be taken for our defence.

Consequently, this country is at war with the forces of Queen Marianne Bordeaux the Second, the VEXA Corporation, and their allies.

In response to VEXA's threat the fort has now decide to allow a titan machine on world and have begun activation of their space range tower cannons "just for that threat I guess we are at war" the General had said to his troop amout of 200,000 in a microphone "ARE YOU SOILDERS? ARE YOU ABOUT TO FALL TO THE HANDS OF A THREAT?" He screamed and the soilders had replied with a loud and clear "NO!".
"WILL WE ALLOW ANOTHER TYRANT TO SLIP THROUGH LOOP HOLES!?
"NO WE WONT!"
"THEN GET TO YOUR STATIONS GO GO !" He said hurrying to the command center with in the fort "pull up the force field, get the guns , ready the ships, and release some nanobots! Thats an order go!" And so they prepared for the attack.

The Slavonians were greatly displeased with the actions of the Albali Republic. They found this aggression, this idea that they seemed to feel as if they could attack whoever they wanted to, to be despicable. The fact that hat the Albali Republic refused to cooperate with the Coalition in only applying pressure against VEXA and Bordeaux's government caused great displeasure in the Slavonian government, who now has sent a response to the Albali Republic's government.

The Slavonian Government wrote:Greetings, of those of the government of the Albali Republic. We considered engaging in combat long ago, but the wishes of the Coalition is to not attack. We recommend you will apply pressure on Bordeaux's government with military force,
just as we are, but will not allow you to directly engage. We hope you will consider this to avoid civilian casualties. We do note that if VEXA starts attacking Coalition forces or our forces, we will not stop you from doing anything.

The Slavonian 51st "Belarus Fleet", the one in orbit over Elvectica's planet, has been tasked with a second operation. Now, the fleet will block Albali access to the planet until the Albali government agrees to not engage, and instead join Slavonia in merely maintaining a military presence. The fleet remains prepared for combat from both below and from far out in case either VEXA or the Albali Republic engages. Furthermore, Slavonia has sent its own counter to VEXA's ultimatum.

The Slavonian Government wrote:Slavonia hereby publically announces that it is fully in support of the Coalition, and that the Coalition should not be wary of an ultimatum from a mere corporation. Slavonian forces are prepared to attack at any moment if VEXA is to make any sudden moves.

After more than twenty-four suspenseful and tense hours, The Coalition has finally responded;

The Coalition wrote:We will not disengage in any foreign activity. VEXA has no authority whatsoever to attempt an invasion of Orbis and Elvectica. Currently, VEXA is intruding on multiple borders of sovereign nations that have no opinion on either Marianne or Adecyn.
This is a violation of the Treaty of Vandium, signed almost four hundred years ago today, by none other than Marianne's predecessor, Her Esteemed Majesty Director Cacace Ebony the eleventh.

It is hereby we ignore this ultimatum as an ignorant, haphazard, indiscriminate, and arbitrary sign of belligerence.

The Coalition has also been notified of the conflicts within its allied make-shift pact. They were nerved by the warnings of Slavonia and trigger-happy Entronium forces;

We find that Albali is rightful in its actions, noting the fact that they have strictly warned VEXA with its own ultimatum of military response, which was evidently ignored.
We had supported their view, however due to the nature of the current situation, we find it invalid. Slavonia's warnings, although suspiciously aggressive, are in its own right protecting our peaceful interests.

It is therefore, sadly, we decline Albali's armed forces in being permitted to enter Elvectican space. The two ships which are already in transit are welcomed. The Navy's response will be denied.

The Coalition has now been put in an even more dire and precarious predicament; facing its own in-fighting and collision of interests and promises.
It is only a matter of time before they can hear back VEXA and Queen Marianne's response.

But luckily, because of the current success of legal battles, the impeachment is well underway.

A judge at the Supreme Court of Orbis in the Coalition of Nations Headquarters, (((Not affiliated with The Coalition, merely a UN-like world organization))), has taken the Coalition's word and has accepted the legality of impeachment to be justified. The Coalition now has Orbis-wide support of impeachment, and government legislation is swiftly taking down permissions as they speak.

They have only one more legal battle next: BNL Corporation's Supreme Court.

The pair of carries arrived just hours after Slavionia's warning to Albali, though thankfully for both countries, Elvectica gave the ships permission to land shortly before they exited their day-long frame-jumps. The captains of the vessels were understandably frustrated with basically everyone - their own country Albali, because the Assembly declared war while they were the only assets in the area, Elvectica because they refused to allow the Albalians to deploy military forces anywhere near where they were needed, and Slavonia because they had the sheer audacity to send what amounted to a threat to their own ally. Oh well, they thought; their allies would change their minds once the bullets started flying. Or, plasma and lasers. Whatever.

Nevertheless, they were sent to Orbis Terrarum City to do a job, and that was to distribute the supplies on board to civilians. Regardless of how they felt about it now, it was their duty. The ships, named Saara Sibelius and Travecy, if the letters painted on their bows were actually their names, arrived at the city at 04:12; given the size of the former-warships, there was simply no place open enough to land properly. Instead, they both resorted to using their gravity lifts to offload some supplies and the few marines on board. The marines' job there was simply to hand the supplies out themselves - that was really the only reason they were allowed to stay.

The ships were also connected to the City's electricity grid. After all, the disabling of their main guns meant that the power originally meant for them would have been wasted otherwise - the civilians would need that extra power more than the ships if any actual fighting did begin.

//Did I write something wrong? Because Slavonia’s message seems a lot more like a “Hey, we can’t allow you to do this, so we’ll have to block you”, and y’all are describing it like Slavonia was really aggressive. I’m not seeing the aggression, so I’m really confused. I'm thinking I maybe wrote something wrong.

Slavonia does not seem to be aware that their response was taken as a threat, which may show that threatening was not its intended meaning. The Slavonian fleet has maintained its position and has not moved. Furthermore, they have sent a message to the Coalition, seeking permission or thoughts on a potential military move.

Admiral Vasil Lastousk wrote:We would like to adhere to this more peaceful application of pressure, but VEXA is making moves on other nations with impunity. We are seeking to send an extra fleet into your system and place blockades on VEXA positions and engagements, which could be at the expense of your neighbors when we trap the VEXA fleets within them. This may be a necessary evil, as it will split up VEXA numbers and apply heavy pressure on Bordeaux's government, as the VEXA ships and forces will be essentially held as ransom.

Furthermore, cyberwarfare is still an option, though we are not sure if it will work.

//Just void my usage of cyberwarfare from earlier. I'm considering halving the size of an average fleet for balancing reasons, btw.

For me, it was the "we won't let you" thing. Like, what would have happened if Albali completely disregarded that and waltzed on past the fleet? The wording of the message makes it look as though you're being threatening in a sly way. Think of it as saying this - "I can't allow you to back out on our agreement; after all, you mother would be just hurt to hear the news. I'd recommend doing that job we talked about."

It was the start of the day; about 5 am (UTC) in the morning, when VEXA received the transmission from the Coalition government. With their extra forces from Free American Empire, VEXA was content in starting a blockade around Elvectica's land borders. In space, multiple Dreadnoughts, Cruisers, Destroyers and other military aid were deployed from a base a few AU away from Orbis' system. They entered Elvectican space at about 5h35. Ignoring the combined forces of Slavonia and Albali, they continued on pushing further into Elvectica sovereign territory.

Despite the ultimatum, they remain not at war:

Around 6 am, a large Class-B Dreadnought, about 1km in diameter approaches the Slvaonian fleet stationed nearby. It is large and advanced, however in comparison it would easily be an equal match, and both sides would likely suffer heavy losses if they entered battle.

Commodore Vesh Frost of the 52nd Fleet wrote:Greetings, Slavonian forces. We are aware that you are intruding on a VEXA intervention. For the sake of both our fleets, we request that you re-position your forces elsewhere. We have noticed that your military are blocking VEXA's passage to Orbis, and we also request that you immediately cease blockage and let our fleets pass by.

VEXA then solicits to BNL for permission to try and intercept encrypted messages sent by the Coalition.

VEXA is also unaware of Albali's current stance in this debacle, as scans from the relatively outdated Auxiliary Vessels do not detect any fleets within Orbis Terrarum City.
