Albali's National Assembly has held a vote on the matter; many wish to support The Coalition and see the Queen impeached, while others want to make Elvectica a democratic republic through various means. VEXA received no public support from the Assembly. Despite a slight majority in favour of overhauling Elvectica's leadership, debating continued for two days before eventually going up to the Senate for them to make the decision - the Senate voted to support The Coalition by an overwhelming majority.

Prime Minister Rhios Theon Aavik made a speech the afternoon after the Senate's vote.

"We, the Government of Albali, have made our feelings on this matter known over the past few days. This morning, Senators decided that it is The Coalition that deserves Albali's support, and we are now demanding for the abdication of Her Esteemed Majesty Queen Marianne Bordeaux the Second, and for Her Highness Queen Adecyn Vanexa Zabinski Zajączkowski the Seventh to be placed back on the throne that is rightfully hers; should Her Esteemed Majesty fail to comply with this demand, there shall be an appropriate and proportionate response."

The Albalian Defence Forces have responded to the Prime Minister's ultimatum, stating that "any military operations in another nation-state is unconstitutional without the permission and approval of that country's government and is therefore out of the question".

After several rounds of voting, the Prime Minister has decided to pursue the majority opinion and call for a retention of the monarchy in Elvectica while acting to support the impeachment of the current Queen. Being a monarchy ourselves, we can wholeheartedly empathise with your nation at this troubling time. The Prime Minister is still at the Queen's bedside, however she has come out of the room for diplomatic talks with the Coalition. She wholeheartedly joins it.

To Queen Bordeaux's likely dismay, the Slavonians have made their move. A single Slavonian fleet has been dispatched and has attempted to entire Elvectica's home system. The fleet, heading straight towards Elvectica, is escorting a transport fleet.

Our forces have entered your system. A single fleet, carrying 560,000 men, are being transported and will land outside the city and set up camp. We will not engage immediately, but our force's presence will exert pressure. Our transport fleet is carrying plenty of assault mechs, patrol mechs, and a variety of heavy/assault infantry. We will bring in an assortment of anti-infantry weaponry, such as tanks. Siege equipment, such as artillery, will be present in small numbers. Not too much that it we will scare civilians, but enough for Bordeaux's forces to recognize we have the proper equipment to breach defenses.

Noting the potential consequences, the Slavonians move forwards anyways. The Slavonian fleet enters a high orbit of roughly 30,000 mi (48,280 km). The transport fleet beams their payload of 560,000 soldiers and their assorted equipment and vehicles down somewhere remote within Elvectica, and began to rapidly construct a vast network of military bases. Artillery was readied and pointed to the nearest city to each military base, and the vehicles were stored inside the bases mid-construction.

From the capital ships high up in orbit, Slavonian hackers began to aggressively attempt to place a virus within Elvectican military communication and detection systems. More hackers attempt to infiltrate all VEXA-ran media. While it's certain that the Elvectican systems will be confusing, resilient, and highly complex, Slavonian hackers are passionate and skilled, and may acquire a breach eventually.

As it currently stands, Parfuhmerie and I myself stand neutral towards all sides. I understand that the attempted assassination has destabilized the nation, but it is also possible that attempting to remove the queen from power may result in a potential revenge plot, which may further upset the precarious balance that Elvectica currently has. As such, I feel as though that giving my support to any one side at the moment may be unwise, so I shall hold off on aligning myself until convinced otherwise.

However, my company of the Two Seas Trading Company is nonetheless interested in selling goods to any of the sides of this disagreement should it escalate further. Even if it does not, I am nonetheless also requesting if I am permitted to establish a storefront in a major Elvectican city. My company has a wide variety of goods to sell, ranging from poisons, to furniture, or to paper, and we will adapt what we shall sell depending on Elvectican law.

Hearing news of the Slavionian and VEXA moves made most of Albali's leadership uncomfortable. While they put on brave faces in public any time the issue was brought up, everyone knew that Albali could ill-afford to get dragged into the matter if it escalated into something more serious. The fact of the matter was, Albali was still recovering from a decade of war; people were tired of their fellow countrymen dying for things that didn't concern them. The President of the Republic herself, Astela Valbe, knew that something had to be done; simply talking things out with Queen Marianne seemed like a good place to start. After all, if it failed then they wouldn't be worse off unless she got something catastrophically wrong. If it succeeded though...

Queen Marianne Bordeaux the Second, this is President Valbe of the Albali Republic. You're no doubt aware of Albali's decision in this matter, so I won't beat around the bush. I'm asking you to step down from your position, peacefully and with dignity, before this gets worse. The way this is going, people will die. I'm aware that might not mean much to you, but I'm asking you, as a leader and an equal, to think of your country and its people. There are riots in your streets already, and the longer it goes on the more you'll have to clean up if you win. Already, there is talk about military involvement to remove you from power forcefully. For both our sakes, please don't let it come to that.

At least, toss what I have said around in your head a little; think about it.

Valbe wasn't even sure if the Queen would even get the message, or if it'd be sent to the recycle bin without being read. There's no guessing how the rest of The Coalition would react either; would they appreciate her effort, or accuse her of trying to shirk out of their promise of help? The thought of it put butterflies in her stomach, but there was nothing she could do about it now. All she could do was wait and hope for the best.

The Slavonian response seemed to be quiet. Casimir's typical uninterested expression could be seen on public media to have been replaced with one of slight irritation for a day, and reports from Slavonian soldiers and officers show mixed feelings.

"Assholes...trying to steal any chance of valor we can get," says one general.

"What the hell? I've been waiting for some action and these people are trying to take it from us," exclaims one soldier.

"I hope the message gets through. Why should we care if some little planet-state gets messed up?" exclaims another soldier.

In general, a slight majority of Slavonian officers and many Slavonian soldiers are indeed irritated that their chance for action or for some valor might be taken from them, while the remainder hope for it to work. Some of that remainder want it because it will bring faster peace, but many hope for it because they believe fighting over a tiny nation they'd probably never heard of is useless. Whether this may spark controversy or not is to be found out eventually. However, Slavonian forces are busy preparing for an attack from VEXA.

I have put my faith on them, and have put my faith on Elvectica."

The Prime Minister and the Labour Party of Elvectica have both officially declared their relations with The Coalition, and are condemning the Conservatives and the Capitalist Party for their support of VEXA and their allies.

A representative of Labour is issuing a statement to all Elvecticans now:

As she began a long speech of how glorious VEXA is, Queen Marianne Bordeaux II gets word that the president of the Albali Republic has sent a rather personal message, certainly rather more than the messages previous.
She promptly listens carefully, and slowly signals her aides to set up a formal message back.

To much of their surprise, she says the following:

I am fully aware of the consequences. However these sacrifices and support of foreign investors are beneficial in the long run to jump start another golden age for Elvectica. We must reclaim what it was truly meant to be; the Empire of Elvectica. For the Crown, and for the future peoples of this great and vast empire. This is necessary.

...However, that does not mean I am not open to talks... I care deeply about my nation, and to... well, a certain someone in hospital right now...

"What in the Lord's name...?!" one of her aides says, in between breaths, "Your ESTEEMED Majesty, are you feeling quite alright?"

"Y-Yes, I'm quite fine. Now scatter, foreigner SCUM!! she quickly recuperates her usual self.

With what seems to be a lack of military response to the Slavonian lands, the first few military bases were finished and the rest were nearing or decently into finishing. Slavonian artillery in all of the bases remained trained on Elvectican cities. The hackers continued as well. A few orbital scans were conducted in an attempt to identify VEXA defenses.

A message was sent to the Coalition from the Admiral overseeing the operation.

Greetings. This is Admiral Vasil Lastousk of the Belarus Fleet speaking. We have constructed various military bases in a remote location on the planet, and have artillery ready to fire. My ships are performing orbital scans to locate defenses. Once that is completed, we will be prepared to engage. You will know we're attacking once everything gets really loud.
