It seems that the tensions of the era suffocated every politician who dared grab a hold of power. Some politicians were aware of the presence of said tensions, and actively promised to the people that the gloomy air which hung over their lands would soon pass as long as they promise to to vote for them. Other politicians were more cunning. They actively put kerosene into this flame, letting the smoke rise up and for more people to suffocate. They too promised change, as long as they were to stay in power. It seemed that the Burmese were neither of the two. They, taking advantage of their good relations with Boli, decided it be necessary to fucking kill the crown prince of motherfucking China. Now, Burma was a loved ally for many years, it's strategic position and resources benefited Bharatiya greatly. However, it seemed that this love was made to be tested.
The Great Maharaja Boli woke up from his slumber and let out a great stretch and a yawn, blissfully unaware of the murder which would later change history (and his lifespan) forever. Though his ignorance on the subject was quickly changed when a timid advisor informed him of the recent events which had occurred. The Maharaja stomped his feet and bellowed a noise which resembled anger, and had asked of what the Chinese response was. China, the roadblock of Bharatiya's expansion into Southeast Asia. What did they say?
They said war.
The king sighed. War? He knew it was inevitable but did it have to be today? He immediately got dressed and marched towards the Royal Hall, where a Burmese ambassador, generals, and state approved foreign and local media journalists stood.
"Your Highness, the Chinese have declared that they would punish my people for this transgression! What are we to do? Do you remember the promise your fathers and fathers of fathers made to our people? Are you not the defenders of our people or are we to fall victim to their hordes?" the timid ambassador asked.
"The Chinese want war, and war they shall get!" the great king said.
