The President of the Republic of Nahmeighn Raul Linderman sat at the head of the table surrounded by his military and national security advisors. The men and women in room were there to discuss the ongoing war with Afrianna and the new war with Nippon. One of the first people to speak was Dr. Lucas Monroe-Sanchez the Director General of the Defense Intelligence Service.
“Mr. President today I bring you surprising news. It has come to our attention that the Government of Afrianna has approached the Finnian Republic about ending our conflict with Afrianna and about joining the North Pacific Alliance. Our information comes from communications intercepts and from a report from our defense attaché in the Union of West Africa about a meeting she had with the Chief of Staff of the West African Military. We may have an opportunity to end this war and strengthen our position against Greater Nippon.” Dr. Sanchez explained
The next man to speak was Gen. Marcus Rogan Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
“Mr. President in Afrianna we have launched our first major operations, we have attacked two military airfields in Afrianna via airborne assault and executed an amphibious assault against Biaoko Island which was uncontested by the Afriannans. I feel that in any negoations with Afrianna must ensure that the Afriannans submit to human rights inspections and joint basing of troops.”

The sun was shining and the cafes and shops along the board walk were crowded as two men carrying large backpacks walked along the boardwalk. One ducked into a crowded shop and left his backpack laying against the wall of the shop and then rejoined his partner outside. The two men than walked a little further down the boardwalk and stepped into a crowded café. The men found a table and waited for a waitress to come and take their order. As the waitress was the their order a large explosion rocked the boardwalk the tourists which were crowded into the café spilled out onto the boardwalk. At that point a second placed in a trash can by the two men exploded, killing dozens and wounding hundreds

I say that if we can make peace with Afrianna than lets do it, because we have enemies coming from all sides to fight us so if we are able to turn an enemy into a friend than we must do that. A half hour later the SCIF was full of men and women pounding away on keyboards and leafing through folders full of intel reports. Cmdr. Morris walked into the room and sat down at spot near the middle of the table.
“Ok folks what do we know about all of the recent terrorist activity?” Cmdr. Morris asked.
“well sir initial test field test results from the Puerto Cabezas bombs came back as TATP which is the same type of explosive as the Belize City bombs, the reports from the hospitals in Puerto Cabezas say that the doctors are pulling ball bearings and nails out of victims the same kind of foreign debris that was pulled out of victims of the Belize City bombings. Both of the Belize City bombs were in backpacks at the time of detonation, and where both triggered by disposable cell phones.” Reported an analyst.
“Ok thankyou. What do we know about the shootings at the Mayan Ruins? Cmdr. Morris asked.
“Sir there where 38 people killed, they were all members of an archeology dig crew working on the site. They were shot at close range with weapons firing 5.45mm ammunition. There were no survivors. At this time we have no leads on who committed this attack.” Reported an analyst

“looks like a mass kidnapping of nearly four dozen Finnian citizens and then explosive and triggered by digital timers. There are also no reports of the types of shrapnel being pulled out of people that where pulled out of victims of our bombings. There are also at least forty people who are missing since the attacks.” Reported an analyst.

San Carlos, Nicaragua State, Nahmeighn
The local boarder police swat team was surrounding an apartment building that is owned by man named Joaquin Felix Galan. Galan has ties to several political separatist groups including the Ejercito de Liberacion Nacional (ELN) or National Liberation Army and the Frente de Nacional Socialista (FNS) or National Socialist Front. Both the ELN and FNS are highly active in the northern territories. The two organizations want independence from Nahmeighn for the northern territories.
As the swat team secured the perimeter two teams of shooters from Unit 601 entered the building and started clearing apartments. The majority of the apartments were empty but as the shooters entered apartment 207 they were shocked by what they saw. The large apartment was full of money, weapons, and drugs. They were also able to arrest three men who were in the apartment.

One of the locations raided by Unit 601 is the palatial home of an Aztecan business man with close ties both the FNS and the Aztecan government. The business man, Rafael Luis Felix is a shipping magnate who operates his business in both Greater Azteca and Nahmeighn. The driver parked the box truck in a parking spot near the front entrance of the police station, he then got into the hatchback that had been following him and drove away. Once they were several blocks from the Headquarters of the National Police the driver of the box truck pulled out his cell phone and dialed a number saved in his speed dial, as he did the truck exploded destroying 4/5s of the police station instantly killing dozens of police officers.

Managua, Nicaragua, Nahmeighn
As Cmdr. Mendez entered the SCIF all of the seats around the large table were full except for his and there were two dozen or so other men also standing in the room.
“Gentlemen as I am sure most of you already know, this afternoon the headquarters of the National Police hear in Managua was attacked with a massive truck bomb the building was nearly completely destroyed.
Now we must strike back for our brothers in the National Police. I need to know everything you all know about these terrorist attacks.” Cmdr. Mendez stated.
“The initial casualty report from todays 47 dead and 163 wounded both of those numbers are expected to rise as first responders continue to pull people from the rubble.” Stated an operations officer.
“We found a piece of the truck that tested positive for explosive residue on site, so we took it to our forensics lab and it tested positive for TATP just like the other bombs.” A forensics tech reported
“That’s great work, these terrorists certainly like using TATP in their bombs. Tell me about the raids in Belmopan, and San Carlos.” Cmdr. Mendez responded.
“Sir, the raids went very well. In Belmopan we found large amounts of TATP precursor chemicals. We found the chemicals at the house of a wealthy Aztecan business man, who lives and works out of Belmopan. The business man has strong ties to both the FNS and the Aztecan government.” Reported Tsgt. Mike Rojas an intelligence analyst from the 91st Special Activities Squadron.
“That’s good to hear, what else did the raids produce for us?” Cmdr. Mendez asked.
“Sir, in Belmopan we also raided a location that was owned by business that is in turn owned by the Aztecan Government. The warehouse was being rented by a man with ties to the ELN. In the warehouse we found large quantities of nails, ball bearings, electrical wiring, disposable cell phones, and backpacks. I’m fairly certain we have found a bomb factory, despite the fact we didn’t find any explosives or precursor chemicals on the site. We also took four prisoners at the warehouse.” Tsgt. Rojas explained.
“Commander, in San Carlos we raided an apartment building that is owned by a man who has well know ties to both the ELN and FNS. Most of the apartments were empty but in one of the apartments we found huge amounts of drugs, money, and guns. We also arrested three men at the apartment building.” Reported chief inspector Linda Woods an intelligence analyst from Unit 801.

Despite being home to more than 12,000 employees the sprawling headquarters complex often feels empty, the long wide hallways are never noisy nor crowded with people. In one of the many work areas in Building 4 Nick Gould sat at his work station listening to intercepted Nipponese military communications. Bathed in the glow of the computer monitors on his desk Nick Gould does not make an intimidating first impression, Nick is able to speak, read, and write in seven languages.
Nick and his team of communications intelligence analysts have been tasked with generating the initial intelligence briefs for operations against the minor southeastern islands of the Indonesian archipelago. The first two targets are Rote and Sumba Islands. Occupation of these two islands would allow for the expansion of the allied air defense umbrella into enemy territory. Nick was busy listening to Nipponese military communications. The communications he was listening to revealed that the two target islands were very lightly defended. The island of Rote had no military units at all and Sumba island only has two battalions of infantry in defense.

I am here to announce a call up of reserve members of the Airforce and Army. 207,000 army reservists and 153,000 Airforce reservists are being called to active duty. As in any time of war, the citizens of our great nation will be asked to make sacrifices and it is the members of our great military and their families are asked to sacrifice more than many others. So I ask you to support our military members and their families. I can also announce today that parliament has approved a further 28% increase in this years defense budget.” Defense Minister Feltcher announced.

New Anzakian Airforce Lt.Gen. Harry Myers walked the production floor of the massive aircraft factory watching as men busily build new aircraft. Plant 63 manufactures F-24s and F-28s. the majority of the aircraft currently being produced at Plant 63 are ultimately bound for New Anzakia. The expected growth of the New Anzakian Airforce led them to assign liaison officer specifically to oversea the production of new aircraft in Nahmeighn. LTG. Myers and his staff are responsible for the production and delivery of aircraft to the New Anzakian Airforce.
Alongside LTG. Myers walked plant manager Michelle Adams,
“Miss. Adams this is quite the facility you operate here, I’m very impressed by its efficiency. I also understand the plant can easily be expanded.” LTG. Myers states.
“Yes General Myers that is correct, we have additional production facilities that have been mothballed that can be reactivated on short notice.” Michelle Adams responded.
“That is very good to hear, my government trying to greatly its domestic aircraft production capacity, but that is going a great deal of time. So until we are able to build up our own production capacity we will have to rely on yours.” LTG. Myers added.

Western Space Launch Complex
Finke, Northern Territories, New Anzakia
The two massive Delta IV Heavy+ rockets towered over the launch complex located at Finke in the Northern Territories. Lake Notoro Naval Station
Lake Notoro, Hokkaido, Finnian Bastada
The normally sleepy facility at Lake Notoro was suddenly a very busy place two aircraft carriers the RNS Ranger and the RNS Saratoga had arrived in port about three days ago and now the five carries of Taskforce 58 were due into port today. Lake Notoro is also home to the Nahmeighnian Navy’s Asian Flotilla. The flotilla is commanded by a two star admiral, currently the flotilla is commanded by RAdm. Alyson Cheshire. RAdm. Cheshire commands a flotilla comprised of 28 corvettes, 16 frigates, and 10 destroyers. The ships of taskforce 58, the RNS Ranger and RNS Saratoga battle groups and the Asian Flotilla are to undertake operations in the central pacific. This combined force of ships will be designated 8th Fleet and will ultimately be home ported at the brand new Point Vernon Naval Base in New Anzakia.

Joint Base Diego Garcia
Over Seas Territory, Nahmeighn
The lagoon at Diego Garcia was extremely crowded with ships as the ships of carrier taskforce 37 steamed into the anchorage. The carriers were there to protect the landing force which had been assembled in Diego Garcia for Operation Ceylon the invasion of Sri Lanka. The 9th, 12th, and 15th Marine Divisions along with the 22nd and 31st Legion Lancer Divisions will seize control of Sri Lanka.
Marine Corps Gen. Larry Puller is in command of the landing forces with Foreign Legion Gen. Marcel LeCrux as his second in command. Generals Puller and LeCrux, have set up their command post aboard the prepositioning ship RNNS Apex they would give the crews of the carriers a chance for some shore rest and partial renewal. The combined invasion force will leave Diego Garcia in three days. The Navy had flown in three replacement crews which are to be divided up amongst the five carriers of the taskforce.

Halls Creek Airforce Base, Halls Creek, New Anzakia
The ramp was alive with activity as three squadrons of B-1Bs and B-1Rs of the 32nd and 93rd bomb wings take off for a bombing raid against the Nipponese Navy Base at Tanjung Pelepas. The eight B-1Rs taking part in the raid are a large mixed loads of long and medium range air-to-air missiles and long range air-to-surface anti-radiation missiles. Eight B-1Bs are carrying loads of Harpoon anti-ship missiles, eight B-1Bs are carrying loads of 1,000lbs JDAMS, and the final eight B-1Bs are carrying loads of aerial mines and SDB2 precision guided bombs. Col. Andrews and Col. Castle with fly the lead aircraft on the raid.

Aboard ships of the 8th fleet in the Sea of Japan
Pacific Fleet command in Valparaiso had ordered the ships of the 8th Fleet into the Sea of Japan. They are currently sailing deep in enemy territory roughly 150mi off the coast of the home islands of Greater Nippon.

Aboard RNS Saratoga
In the Ward room of the carrier RNS Saratoga VAdm. Lars “Boomer” York the commander of all 8th Fleet airwings is meeting with his CAGs. The CAGs or Commander Air Group(s) are the senior pilots in each of the 8th Fleet’s seven carrier air wings.
“Alright lets get this meeting started. As we all know it’s a very rare occasion that we get to make a prolonged cruise through enemy territory. Our cruise through the Sea of Japan will cover more than 1,500 nautical miles. We will be conducting a series of airstrikes against air fields and air defense sites. Cats and Airwing 43 are first up. They will strike airfields at Nigata and Komatsu. We will also be maintaining around the clock cap over the fleet, along with cat alert birds.” VAdm. York announced.
Airwing 17 onboard the Ranger has been realigned with its F/A-28s removed along with the EF-24Cs and additional A-11s and S-5s added, Airwing 19 on the Saratoga has also been realigned with the S-5s and F/A-28Cs removed and additional EF-24Cs and A-11s added.
Capt. Lyssa “Lion” Lucas CAG of Airwing17 raised her hand to ask a question like a schoolgirl;
“Why was my airwing realigned?” Lion asked
“We need the extra Anti-submarine and Anti-Surface warfare ability since our subs have been stripped for another mission. Boomer responded.
“Ok that makes sense, but what about Airwing19? Lion Responded.
“The primary objective of our pleasure cruise is to wreak havoc in the home islands and the extra EF-24s and A-11s will help us accomplish that objective.” Boomer responded.
Aboard RNS Wasp
The hanger deck was an absolute mad house as the plane crews of VFA43 and VA43 busily prepped their aircraft for the upcoming raids against Nigata and Komatsu. The A-11s of VA43 are being loaded with mixed loads of ordnance. Primarily they are being loaded with SPM-238 anti-runway munitions, and 1,000lb cluster and fragmentation bombs. 4 EF-24Cs of Det2/VAQ11 will be doing SEAD on the raids. The F/A-28s of VFA43 will fly CAP on the raids.
In the ready room of VF43 Capt. Jennifer “Cats” Morgan was briefing her squadron and detachment commanders.
Aboard Sniper3-1 over the Sea of Japan
Lt. Cmdr. Pedro Martinez sat at the controls of his SH-3 anti-submarine warfare helicopter. The helicopter hovered 80ft over the water with its dipping sonars dangling below it like tentacles. The two dipping sonars operate in different frequency ranges. Each of the sonars are mounted on long retractable arms mounted to the side of the fuselage.
The large and powerfully built lieutenant commander looked as though he had been wedged into the helicopter’s cockpit using a shoehorn. Lt. Cmdr. Martinez and his crew were five hours into their mission protecting the ships of the 8th Fleet against enemy submarines.
“Sir I’ve got a contact off our nose at 10 o’clock.” Reported sonar operator PO1 Emily Harris.
“Ok. What’s the range Emily?” CW3 Enrique Sanchez responded.
“Sir the range is 7,800m.” PO1 Harris responded.
“Eagle1-1 this is Sniper3-1 we have a possible contact bearing 3-1-0 range 7,800m from our current position.” Reported CW3 Sanchez to the circling S-5 that was controlling the Anti-submarine warfare efforts of the fleet.
The dipping sonars started to raise out of the water as Sniper3-1 prepared to reposition.

Loma Plata Weapons Depository
Loma Plata, Paraguay State, Nahmeighn
The Loma Plata Weapons Depository is one of the primary storage sites for the military’s stock pile of nuclear weapons. The depository is comprised of hundreds hardened weapons storage bunkers. The bunkers are all built partially underground out of heavily reinforced concrete. The Loma Plata Depository also contains a large airstrip used for moving weapons around the country and the world.
Capt. Jim Engels of the Nahmeighn Navy is the commanding officer of the depository. Capt. Engels was walking the rows of bunkers as he often does checking on the work crews who pull the weapons out of the bunkers for their regular inspections. Capt. Engels had the prior afternoon received orders to ship weapons to bases on Hokkaido and in New Anzakia.

Nickerie, Suriname State, Nahmeighn
The sleepy seaside town of Nickerie in Suriname State is a hotbed of separatist politics the two largest separatist groups in Suriname State are the Suriname Independence League (SIL) or Liga de la Independencia de Suriname (LIS), the SIL is a hardline separatist group but their approach is to seek peaceful political change. The counterpart to the SIL is the Suriname Liberation Union (SLU) or Union de Liberacion de Suriname (ULS). The SLU is far more militant than the SIL and often commits crimes to fund its operations.
Two worn out vans were parked along opposite sides of a busy street. In one van were technicians from the 91st Special Activities Squadron who where operating eves dropping equipment. The techs in the van are listening to a meeting of separatists. In the other van is a close surveillance team that has been tracking a prominent separatist.

The NB-3 Strategic Stealth bombers of the 3rd Tsubasa were being armed for a large raid against strategic targets on the island of Midway. The 3rd Tsubasa is a specially composed composite unit. The 3rd Tsubasa has seven flying sentai. The Tsubasa has three sentai which fly the NB-3, two sentai that fly KB-19 medium bomber and two sentai that fly the MB-93 tactical bomber. On the upcoming mission against Midway the Tsubasa will employ five squadrons, two sentais of MB-93s, two sentai of KB19s and one Sentai of NB-3s as the primary strike force. The NB-3s will carry bunker buster bombs to attack the East Island missile farm. The two sentai of MB-93s will be responsible for SEAD and will carry mixed loads of anti-radiation missiles and small diameter bombs. The KB-19s will attack the airfield and port facilities with cluster bombs and JDAMs.
The ground crews of the 3rd Tsubasa lined the taxi ways as the aircraft took off on their mission.
Across the airfield from the 3rd Tsubasa the men of 43rd Fighter Tsubasa were also preparing their NF-23 air superiority fighters, each of the 72 NF-23s will be carrying 6 medium range missiles and 4 short range missiles.

Under the Sea of Japan
Cmdr. Izame the captain of the Itachizame stood at the chart table in the command center of his submarine. The Itachizame is Soryu Class Diesel-electric attack submarine.
“Sir there is a large enemy force off our port bow. The enemy is highly active and has ASW helicopters up and is using corvettes to conduct sonar sweeps. I feel that we need to either get very aggressive in carrying out an attack on the enemy force or we need to withdraw from the Area.” Cmdr. Kim Moon Sung the executive officer the Itachizame stated.
“Cmdr. Kim I agree completely. We will get very aggressive in about six hours when three more friendly submarines are in the area to join in the attack we will also get significant help from shore based forces. Until that time lets turn and move slowly away from the enemy, set your course and make your speed 8knts.” Cmdr. Izame explained to his XO.

Aboard the Submarine Iruka
In the Pacific Ocean
The Submarine Iruka is unique in world of submarines as she is a large cruise missile submarine, but unlike most cruise missile subs in service the Iruka is a Diesel-electric submarine. The Iruka is the lead ship of her class. She is based on a combination of the Soryu and design specs for the Tomahawk class submarines that were stolen from the Nahmeighn Navy. The Iruka is now steaming off the Marianas islands. The Iruka is to support the Airforce’s upcoming raid against the Nahmeighn Airforce’s base on Tinian. The Iruka currently carries 50 DH-20A supersonic cruise missiles which are to be launched against the airbase on Guam.

Office of the prime minister, New Belfast, Finnian Republic
The prime ministers office is recognizable to any Finnian citizen, a large oak desk, in front of large windows overlooking the Columbia River, this is where the prime ministers have addressed the people. “My fellow citizens, it is with a heavy heart I come before you tonight, we all remember the treacherous Nipponese and our past conflicts with them, the city of Salt Lake has finally been rebuilt and fit for habitation these last few years, the Damage of their invasion during the second pacific war can still be seen on our pacific coast, many parents including my wife Sarah and I gave children to the war, but we defeated them, we signed a peace treaty and moved on. Our allies in Maddox and Ukuskia did the same.” Started Michael Collins Prime Minister of the Armed Republic. “ We moved on having removed the nuclear teeth of our enemies, we claimed the island of Hokkaido and have garrisoned that island, from that island we have tried to ensure our enemies have acted honorably, a few of you will remember the stink they made demanding the island back, well we were correct in holding that island. Our enemy has not acted in good faith our intelligence agencies have been receiving word of the Nipponese rearming, building in secret strategic bombers, ballistic missile submarines, and rebuilding their nuclear stockpile, these are serious claims that had to be verified with that in mind the security council and I ordered a raid on a nuclear weapons facility our forces landed and secured the evidence we needed. The government of Nippon is manufacturing nuclear weapons again a direct violation of the Honolulu accord. With this in mind as well as previous attacks on our nation and our allies I have asked both houses to come together and declare war on Nippon and any and all allies enabling the Nipponese to spread there terror throughout the world. We will begin offensive operations immediately against Nippon, it is my desire that this war remain a conventional war, but with prior knowledge of the Nipponese way of thinking I have ordered our nuclear forces to their highest state of alert. National guard units will be called up for defense of the homeland, active military personnel will forward deploy. In this trying time I remind the Finnian people that we are united people and united we will defeat any enemy.”

Renegade was sailing south towards the South China Sea, her single reactor on the lowest setting allowing for her coolant to flow through the reactor vessel with out pumps, she was as quiet as a SSGN could be. “Sir, ELF message requesting us to rise to radio depth” reported a radio man
“Bring us to 120 feet and release the wire, slowly though” Ordered Captain Ryan
The maneuver took 45 minutes, the order was received including targeting data in 45 seconds, the wire antenna was retrieved back into the sail of the submarine. “Turn South east of our current course, load the targeting data into all of the SeaHags make our depth 400 feet” Ordered Cpt. Ryan

Rosny Park Intelligence Complex
Rosny Park, Tasmania, New Anzakia
Dr. Lauren Blackwell enjoyed walking through the tree lined complex of buildings the New Anzakian Intelligence Community had built in Rosny Park. The heart of the complex was the headquarters building for the Federal Space Intelligence Service, while its brain was the National Communications Security Bureau’s Advanced Computing Center, and its collection of super computers. Dr. Blackwell was the senior operations manager for the Advanced Computing Center. The ACC is built around two parallel super computers. The primary Super computer at the ACC is built of seven separate Cray supercomputers are in turn networked in parallel. This computer is quite possibly the most powerful computer in the world.
Dr. Blackwell is walking across the campus to meet with Dr. Courtney O’Dell the chief of operations the Federal Intelligence Service’s Real Time Threat Environment project which is housed on the Rosny Park Campus. The Real Time Threat Environment project is a massive joint project between the FIS and its counterparts in Nahmeighn and the Finnian Republic.

The Imperial Palace
Tokyo, Greater Nippon
Emperor Naruhito sat at the grand cherry wood desk in his office within the Palace of the Rising Sun. the Palace of the Rising Sun is just one of three large palaces on the grounds of the Imperial compound. After the Emperor was kidnapped by Finnian commandos nine years ago the security around the palace has been dramatically improved. The imperial guards had installed motion detectors and surveillance cameras everywhere. The Kenpeitai (Secret Military Police) have the perimeter of the palace grounds under 24hr surveillance.

The Imperial Ministry of Defense
Taito, Tokyo, Greater Nippon
Emperor Naruhito has been very concerned about his nation’s security, and has allowed the Directorate of Internal Security to become more and more authoritarian. Now everybody in the empire is surveilled and informed on by their neighbors. The Directorate of Internal Security is often known as the Tokkeitai as it grew out of the old Imperial Naval Police.
The Counselor of Internal Security Taro Tanigaki sat in the office of the Counselor of Defense Koriki Azumi.
“Counselor Tanigaki how are you today?” Counselor Azumi asked.
“Koriki my dear friend, I am doing just fine.” Counselor Tanigaki responded.
“That is great to hear Taro, I have some major concerns about this war we find ourselves in. we must make sure that our nation cant be infiltrated by our enemies. The raid on the nuclear weapons facility in Western China has me very concerned, someone on the inside must of leaked its location to the Finnians.” Counselor Azumi asserted.
“And even if your assertion turns out to be correct where was the Kenpeitai that night they are responsible for security at that sight. Counselor Tanigaki said pushing back against Counselor Azumi’s assertion.

On the shores of Tsuruga Bay the massive submarine pens tower over the landscape. The pens have been built to survive multiple hits from 10,000lbs bunker buster bombs. The most distinctive feature of the pens are the massive armored domes built into the roof of the pens. The domes are made of layers of composite laminate armor and rolled steel armor.
Inside the pens activity levels were high as the submarines were being readied to go to sea. All five of the empire’s nuclear powered ballistic missile submarines are being sent to sea armed with nuclear tipped ballistic missiles.

F.S.S. Joesph Kennedy, Indian Ocean
The fighting Joe as the Joesph Kennedy was nicknamed had been labeled the flag ship of the 8th carrier battle group for this deployment, named after the patriarch of the Kennedy family and the newest Arch Angel class CVN in the fleet. She sailed south east in the Indian Ocean as the MV-22’s approached having refueled twice the pilots exhausted and the men of 10th group exhausted many of them sleeping their prisoners secured and guarded in shifts. The 2 MV-22’s landed and the men of 10th group unloaded, exhausted as they were they walked their 2 prisoners to a secured brig, meet by several intelligence officers eager to begin their interrogations. It would take hours for any progress, “Dr. Huang, we know you are a weapons engineer, a nuclear weapons engineer at that, you were captured in a lab where nuclear weapons were being built a violation of the treaty between our 2 nations.” Explained Taylor Murphy an officer in the FIA “ the only way you don’t end up taking a long swim off the back of this carier is give me information about your new weapons, performance, range, warhead load, and location s of a few silos, all the good stuff, what I want from you is your warhead yields and targeting accuracy, oh and if you know were these weapons are being stored that would be great too.” She replied with a smile. Taylor got all the info she wanted she always did. 24 hrs after the men of 10th group landed on the Fighting Joe, the Finnian state had learned the location of 24 of nippons 30 active ICBM’s and their performance and that the Nipponese had also developed IRBM’s the prisoners thought less than 100 of these but was not sure, 30 hrs after the men of 10th group landed, Finnian spy satellites had been tasked with finding these missiles.

F.S.S. Hornet, North of Hawaii
The vessels of the 4th Merchant Escort Group (MEG) and their 60 merchant vessels including 16 ultra large Ro/Ro’s of the Seattle preposition fleet sailed on the unusually calm waters north of Hawaii the SH-60 Seahawks of the FFG, DDG, and Cruisers used their dipping sonar to hunt for enemy vessels and the SV-22C’s dropped lines sonar bouys some active some passive, the escort vessels used their tails to listen for any submarine that may have gotten through the aircraft. The Oregon class cruiser, F.S.S. Bend searched the skies with the help of a EV-22C awacs ready to meet strike aircraft or anti shipping missiles with the F/A-28B jump jets or the fleets sams.

166th scout battalion, 16th Lancer Division, 6th Finnian Field Army. East of Choibalsan Mongolia
The 16th lancer division was encamped 30 miles from the boarder with Nippon their tanks dug in waiting for an order to advance or the enemy to strike. The 166th scout battalion however was on the boarder in some places their LY10 bloodhound scout tanks were probably in Nippon, the 100 tanks worked in teams of two searching for the enemy, waiting until night to make quick jumps, then digging in and covering their vehicles with camouflage netting, each vehicle carried a quad copter drone which they used to further search their areas. “Where the Hell are these Nipponese?” Asked specialist Burferd
“Patience boy, we will find them eventually, remember they don’t have much use for this area” replied Sgt. Greenleaf
“Yeah, but sarge they gotta know we’re going to launch the invasion soon” replied Burfered
“Oh, they know, but did you think that maybe they’re willing to let us burn fuel and extend our supply lines before they even fire a shot?” Asked Greenleaf
“Shit sarge, hadn’t thought about that” replied Burfered

Hainan Arsenal
Hainan Island, Greater Nippon
Dr. Moon li Park the director general of the sprawling Hainan arsenal stood on a balcony overlooking one of the arsenal’s many production floors, below him workers were busy converting Type 99 self-propelled howitzers from 155mm guns to new 178mm guns. The army high command had decided that the army needed a self-propelled howitzer that fired heavier shells and had greater range than the existing 155mm howitzers. The decision was taken to convert existing Type 99 self-propelled howitzers to house a newly designed 178mm/L46 howitzer.
Dr. Moon enjoyed watching the large overhead cranes pickup the large turrets and move them around the factory. The project to convert the Type 99s was marching towards its conclusion the arsenal had already received its final shipment of type 99s for conversion. The men in the rail yard where busy loading newly converted Type 99s onto trains so that the can be delivered to combat units.

Somewhere in the North Pacific
Cmdr. Kim Fung Park was standing with the chief of the boat at the sonar station which was being manned by the boat’s sonar chief, listening to what was a larger merchant convoy. The Uzushio was lurking at the very edge of the its sonar detection range. The Uzushio and the other seven nuclear attack boats of her squadron along with older cruise missile submarines had been sent out to sink this convoy.
“Ok chief tell me, how many ships are we looking at?” Cmdr. Kim inquired.
“Sir probably a dozen warships and the computer says at least 50 merchantmen.” The sonar chief reported
“Ok so we’ve got twelve warships and 50+ merchant ships. The missile boats are to our west so the can fire a wall of missiles for them to sail into, and the attack four from the north and four from the south. We’ll hit them with missiles first and then close to attack with torps.” The captain thought aloud.
