Hashkinian European-Command Center (EURO-COM), Lübeck, Germany
Colonel Donald Abney trudged into the briefing room, some privates scurrying and saluting past him, and he returned the salute lazily. Why the hell would Brigadier Fisher get him up so early. As Abney walked down the hall, the clock read 03:25, this must be serious. After about 5 minutes, Abney enter the briefing room, and that was when he knew he was in deep crap. There were about 40-50 other Elite Corps Hostile Operators (ECHO) soldiers there, all of them officers. Fisher wasn't there, but Brigadier General Jack McAdams was, and he is one of the highest decorated Brig. Gens. alive. Abney instantly snapped at attention and saluted the Brigadier General. McAdams put him at ease and gestured towards the final remaining seat. "Alright men, now that the whole team's assembled, let me introduce myself. I am Brigadier General John L. McAdams, in command of 5th Army, and all Hashkinian forces in the European Continent. I'm sure you all knew that, but I just wanted to clear that up. I am here this early morining to give you some orders, no bull, real world this time." When he said that, Abney heard a couple ECHO men shift in their seats, some even coughed a bit. When the movement stopped, McAdams continued. "You will be deployed in Cossakastal, you should know about their civil war, and aid the Royalist forces. We are also sending a tank division, so make sure you both get along. Your task is to train and prepare the Monarchist Militia, but, by all means, do not engage." Nobody moved this time, every pair of eyes in the room was locked on McAdams. "You would all be led by Colonel Abney right here," he gestured towards Abney, "he are to make sure that supply lines are open, and will act as Hashkin's defacto diplomat." McAdams then dismissed the group, saying that they are to board a plane at 05:00.

The rays of rising sun reflected from the uncountable towers and skyscrapers of a colossal city in the conflux of Indus and Acesines - the Carpocrates, current capital of Eleftheria. Long time ago, that city used to bear name Alexandria on Indus, and was one of the most eastern Hellenistic cities in the world. It was founded by Alexander the Great, after his death became a capital of one of the Diadochi regimes, grew and developed, thriving on the gold that was shipped to it from upper parts of Indus (the so called "ant gold" described by Herodotus), and eventually became the epicenter of the event, that is usually referred as "the first true and the most progressive revolution in the history" - the Great Apellaios Revolution. The city became the capital of the new revolutionary government and, after the death of the Carpocrates, the Leader of Revolution the city was renamed after this great liberator and reformer.
But that was nearly 18 centuries ago and current Protector of Revolution (the title of the elected leader of Eleftheria) Aristomedes had little time to watch the beautiful dawn from the windows of his office on the top of the Tower of Light (the main governmental building in Carpocrates) or to reflect on the magnificent history of the more than two thousand years old city... He had more important matters to attend. The middle of XXI century gave birth to the new neo-reactionary movements, that threatened the existence of true freedom and true democracy. Counterrevolutionary powers gained power in many countries all over the world with facing little or no resistance. The new dark ages, similar to the 30-ies of XX century have begun. Under such dire conditions, Aristomedes did not want to involve Eleftheria into foreign conflicts (despite several hawkish opposition members have taken habits of calling for intervention to every place, where the conflict between the revolution and reaction arised), he thought that the top priority of the Protector of Revolution is to protect the only free island of light in the world of darkness, the land of freedom that stretches from the limitless Uyghur steppes to the mysterious ancient ruins of Mohenjo-Daro, - Eleftheria. And protection of Eleftheria, according to his view on foreign policy, included avoiding direct conflicts with the other states. However, non-participation in foreign conflicts did not mean voluntary self-isolation: Aristomedes did not abandon the cause of the World Revolution, he simply rejected military intervention in favor a more secure, accurate and efficient weapon - the diplomacy. And, of course, he did everything he could to help progressive forces all over the world, but only if those actions did not provide casus belli to some other nation.
This morning Aristomedes was doing the same thing, he usually started his day with: looking through reports from various distant places, to find the unstable points of the world order, in which the soft power of Eleftheria (if applied correctly) would further the cause of the World Revolution. A short article about the recent happenings in Cossakastal caught his attention. Looking through the brief list of facts, he thought, that if one will be able to create a united left-wing front in Cossakastal, then the victory over the reactionary forces would be much more possible, and (if this possible future coalition wins) after the war Cossakastal will be able to become yet another springboard for the World Revolution.
Aristomedes laid the files he was reading aside and began writing two letters:
From: Aristomedes of Eleftheria, the current Protector of Revolution
To: President Alexei Torovich
Subject: Current situation in Cossakastal
Encryption: Extreme
Text: Greetings, Comrade!
I, as a current Protector of Revolution of Eleftheria, offer my condolences towards all Cossaks who have been dragged into a bloody civil war by a bunch of reactionary zealots. The tragic death of President Lyvow Eyovich was a great loss for not only Cossakastal, but the whole world, as he used to be one of the few leaders, who actually cared about his people. Now Cossakastal is the battleground, where the progressive forces combat the many-faced hydra of reaction, represented by the tyrannical regime, controlling Zagreb, the neo-feudal retrogrades controlling Zara and genocideal maniacs controlling Varna. It is in the interest of all progressive people in the world, to defeat those three menaces to freedom and democracy as soon as possible. Despite Eleftheria can not conduct full military intervention at the moment, we will support the governmental forces (as well as any other faction that will fight against the reaction) with all remaining means (diplomacy, supplies and propaganda). Also, I see, that Plovdiv and Uskup are currently controlled by the United Syndicalist Front. Despite they initially revolted against your government, they also fight for the cause of freedom and progress, and, despite they have little support from the official foreign governments, they are quite supported in international left-wing community. Currently, the size of their army is nearly the half of the governmental army, and it continues to grow, because of the volunteers from other lands. For the sake of our common cause, I strongly advice you to consider diplomatic negotiations with them, because, if the united front against the reaction is created, the liberation of Varna, Zara, and Zagreb will become much more easy to achieve.

From: Aristomedes of Eleftheria, the current Protector of Revolution
To: Comrade Ion Yrrevok
Subject: Current situation in Cossakastal
Encryption: Extreme
Text: Greetings, Comrade!
I, as a current Protector of Revolution of Eleftheria, strongly commend the cause of syndicalist uprising. The liberation of Cossakastal, that you are fighting for, will be a great victory, that will bring the completion of the World Revolution closer to our times. Moreover, your United Syndicalist front opposes the atrocious reactionary forces, that took control of Zagreb, Zara and Varna, and are led by a neo-nazi dictator, a feudal, who wants his estate and serfs to be returned to him, and an ultra-right xenophobic terrorist. All three of them are the enemies of the progressive world and it is our common goal to defeat them. The people of Eleftheria will be glad to offer you and your allies as much support as it is possible to give now. Despite we can not conduct full military intervention now, we will support the Cossak Syndicate with all remaining means (diplomacy, supplies and propaganda). Also, I see, that the pro-government forces still remain in control of the most of the territory, their army is twice larger than the one of the Syndicalist Front and they have a lot of official foreign allies. And also, they are not as reactionary, as the other three factions opposing you. All these facts about them make them a good temporary ally. And there is nothing wrong in such an alliance: for example, in the summer of 1917 the Petrograd Soviet and the Provisional Government of Russia united against the reactionary putch led by Kornilov, in the first part of the Russian Civil War the bolshevik, the anarchists and the socialist revolutionaies united against the White reaction and the foreign intervention, during the Spanish Civil War the anarchists, the communists, the left-leaning liberals and the Catalonian independence fighters united against Franco's regime. And in the Red May uprising in 1968 in France, the anarchists, the Trotskyists, the Maoists and the New Left united against De Gaulle's government... So, for the sake of our common cause, I strongly advice you to consider diplomatic negotiations with the current government, because, if the united front against the reaction is created, the liberation of Varna, Zara, and Zagreb will become much more easy to achieve.

As walker jumped from the plane, he saw other soldiers around him jumping and deploying their parachutes. The bright green and blue of their uniforms made them somewhat easy to notice for him in the sky. Shortly later, the ground became in view. In the distances, he saw his comrades touching down to the ground. He reached the ground shortly after, and surveyed his surrounding. He landed in a somewhat open field, with paratroopers in the air all around him. He noticed yellow smoke, which signified the location of a dropped vehicle. He made his way there and found a transport truck. Using his GPS and his map to determine his position, he determined the closest RV point to him was point Delta. He got in the truck and made his way there, picking up a few men along the way. He reached Delta to find men digging trenches and constructing temporary fortifications. He parked the truck next to the other vehicles, and joined in digging a trench.

Operation Lobster

*Plan*

The 7th Lion Brigade will try to meet up another enclave next to the Mediterranean sea up north. They launched a surprise attack on the government army. They'll try to blockade the government forces and destroy them later or fight for territory one by one till it connects the enclave up north. Either way, they have to connect the enclave up north anyway.

First landing at Sarajevo

Postby North American Constitutional Republic » Mon Dec 18, 2017 10:35 am

RAF Mildenhall
11:30pm
25th Air Mobility Squadron "The Big Rigs"

29 year old Cpt. Kyle "Rockin" Reeves is finishing the pre-flights of his C-130-30, callsign Mack 1-1, when his co-pilot, Cpt. Michael "Knight" Long walked into the cockpit with the latest weather for Sarajevo. "Looks good, we'll at least be able to see anything coming at us" Rockin said, trying to lighten the mood. "Yeah, the latest defense update says the city is still extremely dangerous, we should come in from the east, straight in approach" Knight recommended. "Yeah I was about to say we should come in that way" Rockin said. As the pilots finished their pre-flights, loadmaster Cpl. Don "Repo" Reyes, and flight engineer, Cpl. Alexander "Great" Sawyer walked into the cockpit. "We are good to go, soldiers are on board, doors are closed, and fuel is loaded" Talc said. "Okay, I'll radio for start clearance" Rockin said. " Mildenhall tower, Mack 1-1, requesting start, at stand A3." Rockin said over the radio. "Roger Mack 1-1, follow KC-135 Stratotanker callsign Argo 2-4 to runway and hold short" the tower said. As the crew started the engines and followed the tanker to the runway, Repo made a final check of both the cargo, the doors, and the general readiness of the aircraft prior to takeoff. "What's our fuel quantity?" asked Knight to the flight engineers. "23,500lbs, enough to get us in and out to a tanker to come back" Great replied. As the massive plane took the runway, the Air Traffic Controller said "Mack 1-1, cleared for takeoff". "Mack 1-1 rolling" Rockin said. The C-130 accelerated down the runway. "80kts...v1... Rotate" Knight said. The aircraft soared into the night sky toward Sarajevo.

Three hours later...

The aircraft flew into the combat zone. Now all eyes were outside the aircraft looking for potential threats. "You want the interior lights off as well as the interior lights" Knight asked. "Yeah turn'em off" Rockin responded. The C-130 descende in radio silence, to an altitude of 2,500ft. This type of flying had been rehearsed numerous times by the crew in training, but never for real. "City on the right, changing frequency to the city tower" Knight said. "Roger, Repo, go back make sure the load is secure, we're inbound" Rockin said. "Yes sir" Repo replied. "Mack 1-1, be advised, reports of small arms fire, near your flight path, advise a western arrival" the tower said. "Roger will do" Knight said. Rockin circled the field, as the plane descended, there were several bursts of light coming from the ground. "Incoming!" Knight shouted. Rockin turned sharply to avoid the incoming fire, but the number 4 engine took a hit, and was on fire. "Boss, engine four is on fire, and engine 3 is heaily damaged" Great said. "Roger, get Repo back here check make sure the troops are okay" Rockin said. "Sarajevo tower, Mack 1-1 has taken a hit, we are coming in immideately" Knight said. As they waited for a response, Great returned with Repo to the cockpit. Repo was hit and was bleeding from his arm. "Go back there and see if there is a medic" Rockin ordered. As the crew maneuvered the C-130 back towards the airport, more fire was aimed at the aircraft, hitting the electronics bay and the tail, and two soldiers taking hits from shrapnel, but wasn't serious. Repo was tended to by the medic. "Tower, we have lost instruments, we are coming in to land, request emergency equipment" Knight said. "Roger Mack 1-1, do you have wounded?" the controller asked. "Yes, three" Knight replied. The crew maneuvered the plane carefully to line up with the runway. "Drop the gear" Rockin ordered. The hyrdaulics were damaged, the gear thankfully dropped and locked into place. "Three green... landing" Rockin said. Rockin put the plane down carefully and managed to stop.

The next day...

The crew managed to get a better look at their plane when the sun was up. Repo was in the hospital, but Great, Rockin and Knight were eager to see the damage for themselves. They all had a look of shock when they looked at the plane. Engine number 4 was completely destroyed, engine 3 was severely damaged. The right wing was shredded at the tip, the rudder was barely hanging on, and the nose cone had holes the size of a fist in it. "We flew with that? Knight asked to Rockin. "Yeah, we did, well we're stuck here until we can get a mechanic in and repairs done" Rockin replied. "Well we could do the fix ourselves when we can get a new engine in" Great said. "Yeah I'll put a call in" Rockin said in response

December 19th, 2017 -8:49 PM
Lieutenant Henrik Hensley looked out over the cold, snowy terrain near Skopje. The cold was nothing new, but he was still homesick.
“It’s a long way from home.” he told himself with a sigh.
He had never left Wultusia before, and missed his family back on the farm.
Hensley looked toward the very distant city. He assumed that they would attack it soon. That's why they were there wasn’t it? And he might be at the front of the action.

December 20th, 2017 -7:23 AM

Shouting. Shouting back. Guns firing. Bullets flying.
“Fall back! Fall back!”
The Wultusian companies retreated, fading back past the tree line. Some i an orderly fashion, however, others fled, sprinting to get out of harm's way. Contact between the two sides continued sporadically before ending altogether. In the snow lay three Wultusian soldiers, their blood staining the white snow. Among them was Lieutenant Henrik Hensley, the first Wultusian soldier to die in conflict.

December 20th, -5:45 PM
Jeeps rolled into Sarajevo. Out to meet them was Expedition Commander Stephen Beck. He and Captain James Christensen exchanged salutes. The two walked as they talked.
“Report captain?”
“Sir, we encamped jost northwest of Skopje. The better part of a day after arriving, we were engaged by enemy forces that outnumbered us. We retreated. Four KIA.”
“We don’t have enough men here to do much. The government back home is too scared to really commit to the fight. It’s good press until too many Wultusians die. But that can’t be helped. We’ll do what we can with the 5,000 we got. Let’s hope we can be a thorn in the syndicalists side. Ready your men, we leave tomorrow. I’ll go notify our Cossak allies”
“Where are we going sir?”
“Albania.”

Cossak National Republic

The Nationalist Push to Poslovo is swift. In the Cossak Commonwealth, the legitimacy continues to blunder.

Stevai's eyes quickly open as his mouth is filled with mud and his ears are deafened. He upchucks the sulfury mud and clenches his head. As he comes to, OF-5 Vladovi'ich Aleksandr would assign Stevai and 5 others to storm the Republican Office.

Cossak National Republic

As the few soldiers of the Cossak Honor Guard fight to the death to keep Cossakastal from falling to Totalitarianism, Stevai stands on top of the building, looking at the fire below him. He blinks and pulls out his knife and approaches the flagpole with the Commonwealth's flag. As he hears gunshots, he cuts the flag down, it fluttering to the ground. As he does this, he raises the CNR flag.
This has been a drastic blow to the Commonwealth.
Onlookers think this was the last stand of Democracy in the Commonwealth. In the city the CNR anthem can be heard from all corners. The Commonwealth has retreated to Bucharesti.

It was 11:16 AM. New Doltanian soldiers were plotting a counter-attack on Polsovo. Commander Shane Riechener, however, had other ideas. "To truly undermine these Nazis, we must capture their main sea port." he commented.
"Dubrovnik it is." responded General Thomas Lukasson, the Commander in chief of all New Doltanian soldiers in Cossaktal. "Use all you have to capture it, Shane.".
"I will, sir." replied Riechener.
"Oh, and one more thing." called General Lukasson. "The future of Cossaktal depends on this offensive. Good luck.".

Commander Shane Riechener's man had Dubrovnik, the Cossak National Republic's main sea port, surrounded. Talks had begun over the surrender of the city. Riechener said that if the Republic handed over the city peacefully, no Cossak National Republic soldiers would be killed. He was yet to receive a response.

Colonel Clark surveyed a current map of the situation with his command team, and smiled. "This might be easier than we thought." He said to his men. By now all camps had collapsed into a single stronghold. "So, what do we do now, sir?" A lieutenant asked him. "We are in a good position to render our national friends aid now. I want us to remain somewhat mobile, however this can stay as an HQ," He responds. "I want our engineers to begin construction of a dirt airstrip here, for our bombers and transports. Once that is done, we will be able to facilitate bomber raids on opposition bases. And in the event of something unexpected, we can use the airstrip for our transports to evacuate our men, Captain Kerry, I will assign you and your engineer team for this." "Yes sir." He responds, and leaves to inform his men. The colonel continues with, "Major Stavro, I want you to take a platoon-sized element And travel the country, assisting any national troops you come across. I will remain here as operational command." "Consider it done." He replies. The colonel finishes with "Alright, we know what to do here. Meeting adjourned." Everyone walks away.

Troops landing by sea

Postby North American Constitutional Republic » Thu Jan 11, 2018 8:54 am

NACRN landing ship USS Delaware
22:30pm, West of Dubrovnik
22 year old Sgt. Michael Briggs
28th Marine Expedition Battalion, 2nd Company, 4th platoon

"READY UP!" Colonel Harold Walters shouted. The marines then boarded their landing ships in the well deck of the USS Delaware. "Sarge, lets do this" Sgt. Briggs's friend, Sgt. Malcom Alexander, said as they boarded the ship. The USS Delaware, along with it's sister ship, the USS Chesapeake Bay were tasked with landing troops in between the two pockets of Royalist troops, in the city of Split. "You good Al?" Sgt. Briggs said. "Yeah" Sgt. Alexander said. The men checked their weapons when the warning alarm sounded throughout the well deck, as door opened, the deck filled with water, and the landing crafts left the deck into the frigid waters of the Adriatic Sea. The ships were rolling and pitching as they tried to make their way to shore, the Cossak troops began opening up on the ships. As shells exploded around the boats, Sgt. Briggs said "Please, oh please, God, just get me to shore". "Thank God I called my family before we left the ship" Sgt. Alexander said, right before he threw up. "Really, all over my boots!" Corporal Ortis said. "Sorry" Sgt. Alexander said.

On the beach

The ship hit a rock and sank down into the sand, the boat thankfully didn't fill with water, and the ramp dropped"Move up, get off the beach!" Sgt. Briggs said. "Roger, get behind the tank!" Sgt. Alexander responded. The company of soldiers moved up to the nearest tank. As the men ran up the beach, Corporal Aaron Hollings was hit. "Lieutenant Reeves get Hollings to cover!" Sgt. Alexander shouted. "Which cover, we're in a foot and a half of water!" Ortis shouted. "Back behind Lion 1-3!" Sgt. Alexander shouted. As the rest of the unit moved to cover behind another landing ship stuck in the soft sand, Sgt. Briggs ran out to help Lt. Reeves with Cpl. Hollings. "There's an MG Nest through the trenches, we're pinned down, we need air support!" Sgt. Alexander said on the radio. "Roger that Boxer 1-1, two FA-18's inbound callsign Loki 1-1, and 1-2, are coming in, ETA 2 minutes, designate targets" the Operation Commander on the ship said. "Roger that, designating targets" Sgt. Briggs said. Briggs began covering their position as a pair of FA-18's roared past readying to drop their bombloads. "Loki 1-1, beginning bombing run" the lead pilot said. Three seconds later, the MG position was destroyed. The men moved up to street next to the beach.

After the invasion...
05:30am

After securing the beach, invasion quickly wrapped up. Although large parts of the city were taken, there were still small pockets of Cossak resistance both within the city and the outskirts of the city. Sgt.
