In the cold emotionless depths of the void, 30,000 light years from Prima Centauri, the Stahlvateran Battle Cruiser 'Blitzwaffen' is sent to collect 500 tons of Beryllium from a Gas giant's moon's dig site

The ship has a 780 Crew detail, and a Kreigsmarine battalion of 58 men
It has 18 Pulse cannons, 30 Uranium Turrets and 3 torpedo tubes
there are 10 decks, Deck 1 is the Command Information Center, 2-3 is life support and mess halls etc, 4-7 is engineering, 7-8 is the armoury and weapons support, 8-10 is storage and transport bay

upon arrival, the Cruiser ceased transmitting its location and life signs....but a distress signal was activated , it can be faintly heard from as far away as earth
Kreigship Command has responded to the signal, but wont be able to mobilise any ships to investigate until a week later
The message was redirected to any nearby ships in the sector....

Republic Attack Cruiser Prosecutor

On the Command-Bridge of the Venator Class vessel, the ships Commanding Officer: Captain Tex looked out over the bridge, and the distinctive pair of pits on either side of the central walkway. The Ship was under-way traveling at many times the speed of light, heading homewards bout after a long-range exploration mission. THe vast majority of the ships company were looking forward to getting home, as was the young Twi'Lek Jedi Padawan that had accomponied them on her first mission alone without her master, who was undergoing intensive surgery back on Vrijheid. The Sixteen year-old Padawan had done well, leading a number of expeditions down to the planets that they had encounted, and now they were at long last heading home.

All this changed when they received a distress call. There was a brief and hushed debate between the CO, XO and Jedi, before the ship was ordered ot set a course for the distress calls loaction. A short time later they dropped out of warp. Down in the hanger, a single LAAT/i gunship was packed to the brim with thirty six troopers, six over the supposed Limit, and one small Jedi Padawan. The Hanger doors opened slowly and promptly the gunship followed by four Eta-2 Interceptors were launhced and vectored towards the ship in distress as the ship sent out a message.

Unidentified ship, this is the Republic Attack Cruiser Prosecutor, we picked up a distress call from this location and we are sending over a party to investigate, if your are receiving and your intentions are peaceeful, do not be alarmed by the volume of personnel about to pour out of our gunship, Repeat, if you are receiving me pleae respond.

Static covered the entire outgoing communications channel when it came back to the Prosecutor, but even the static must have been redirected by the ship.....
