MacDougal had been expecting a less welcoming arrival than they had gotten. It was a drug cartel after all. But instead of being met by armed guards they were met by one man with a shirt and tie who identified himself as "concrete". MacDougal's company friend spoke with the man briefly before signaling the helicopter pilot to turn off the helicopter. MacDougal exited the helicopter and followed Concrete and the company associate to a large villa in the center of the compound. Both men were led into an office. In front of them sat a scarred Razonican man in a white suit. they all just sat in that office staring at each other for a little while. Finally the scilence was broken when two guards came in with a man with a bag over his head. One guard removed the bag and the scarred man waved the guards away.

"Do you know this man?" The company associate turned to address the new arrival.

"Wilhelm Strausser?" The man nodded. The HSVC agent turned back to the scarred man. "My final associate has arrived shall we commence negotiations?" The scarred man laughed in his face.

"Negotiations? You misunderstand. We have agreed to sell you the product you desire. You are merely here to collect the product." It was the associate's turn to laugh.

"We have decided to alter the deal. Now we want the following: All of our current heroin, all of your cocaine, all of the hallucigens you have, we also want your production capacity." The associate drew a pistol and handed it to Strausser who pointed it at the head of the scarred man. "I have to go against the stereotype here and break our deal. Deals require both sides to agree. Now I don't give a shit if you agree." the associate motioned to Strausser who grabbed the scarred man and led him out to a balcony. The company associate brought out a large suitcase to the balcony as well. The associate shouted down to the guards below

"Attention Cartel members. We have your boss here. From now on you work for us." Some of the guards laughed. Others raised their weapons. The associate continued. "We figured you might not care. So I brought some insurance. In this suitcase next to me is a 5 kiloton nuclear weapon. Not enough to level a city but enough to kill you fuckers. So I say again you will work for us now." This time he was met by a more serious response. again he motioned to Strausser who passed the pistol back. The associate took it and shot the Scarred man in the head.

"As you can see we're very serious. Now prepare all the product for shipment. And to those of you who remain loyal to us your pay shall be doubled. The associate took the nuke back in side. Strausser was left on the balcony to oversee the preparations. The associate turned to MacDougal.

"Captain would you mind radioing in to the squadron? We'll need every helicopter we can get to ship everything back. MacDougal complied. As they waited for the helicopters to arrive he began to wonder what he had gotten himself into.

Hansable Supreme Court House, Hansable
Emergency Meeting in Session

It's in the middle of the day when the Claudian Council calls for a meeting on the matter of the civil war. Head-Councilmen Manius Docilus, Head-Councilwoman Vipstana Porphyria, Councilmen Secundus Eutherius, Councilwoman Burriena Auxilia, Admiral Romas, General Kalian, and Commander Thumas, (The other four council members has not attended since they are busy at the moment), has now begun the meeting in the Supreme Court House of Claudiopolis. Admiral Romas, General Kalian, and Commander Thumas sits at their chairs as the Council members sit upon their High Seats. The Courtroom feels slightly empty since their isn't anyone besides the seven mentioned and the guards who are placed at every exit of the room.

"Alright, so we're kind of in a bad spot here. We have support from allies, but we need more if we are to continue on as much as we want to, but if we can't get that needed support, we'll have to cut down on some of the equipment that we have to maintain" Manius says as he pulls out documents of of a folder.

"Manius, I don't think that's the major problem right now, I think what the problem is that Plyric has way more support in sense of actual military support. Novo Razcon has themselves against us, or at least what I got from a Germerian Newspaper" Burriena said as she tries to compose herself.

"Enough with the outside politics, I thought you call us in for an meeting about our situation with Plyric and not about their states of affairs. I expected this war not to start nor did I expect Plyric to get so much love, especially for being an Fascist rule, while most of Elvarya is mainly Democratic in sense" Thumas says as Romas gives him a sign of acceptance.

"Thumas, as much as I do believe what you've said over the course of months, a lot of it seems to be of bark, and little of bite action. We were formed under a belief of true freedom with a little order sprinkled in with the mixture, not like Plyric with just plain order with give us peace, that a load of BS, they can't even give those who died for our country any respect, much less of lives to be had" Manius says as he puts his papers down and passes them to Vipstana.

"Manius is right, we don't have much resources beside the support of the few, but it's still not enough for our hopes of reclaim Pons from Plyric. We have the support of our people and those who supported us, but we lack many things and that might hinder our future in this war" Vipstana says as he shuffles through the papers.

"For being a council, y'all sure do complain a lot, especially on things that doesn't even matter. I know a couple of people who'll gives us more supplies, you just have give me more funding to have them agree with the deals" Romas says as he keep his position in his chair, giving a calm loo towards Manius and the councilors who all gave him a stern look.

"Absolutely not! From what I've heard, They tend to do a lot of illegal stuff and they overprice everything they have, I will not ever deal with an source of immorality" Manius says as he gets up from his chair

"Manius, stop acting aloof, the meeting isn't over yet, we still have many topics to go over. Such as the state of our infrastructure and our defense against any air forces that come to harass us" Secundus says as he tries to calm Manius down.

"I think the meeting is over, if Manius want to whine, then so be it, I'll fix our problems myself, with Kalian and Thumas. However this will be a war we'll win, no matter what." Romas says as he and the others get up and leaves the room.

2/26/19

It was a peaceful day, the Scainish islands were warm and the people were happy. They finally took their land back from the Arkhonian pigs. The people were happy with their government because they took back the land and made sure that Arkhon did not break his deal. Although the people were happy they were also angry because as the pigs left they destroyed everything on the islands except for there naval base. This angered the people and drove them mad.

To celebrate the elders picked four virgins and sacrificed them to the sea in order to protect the four islands. The elders told the people to always fight for Scain and against the enemies of Razcon, Arkhon, Germ, and Jord. The elders showed the people the gold they had found - worth billions of dollars saved from the pirate days. With it, the elders promised to build a strong military. The elders also promised that the international community would never tear them down again, and they would rise about every nation in Elvarya.

After a very successful day and a lot of celebration the people were enjoying the beach at night. Then all of a sudden an Arkhonian ship exploded. The people did not know what was going on but they cheered. This was there god thanking them for their sacrifice. The people knew that Scain would rise because their god supported them and would bring the world to their knees. SCAIN SHALL RISE AGAIN!!!!! the people chanted.

Commonwealth international Court of Justice
Tyderius, Futrellia
February 27th, 2019
11:00 pm FUTC

Things had been busy that night at the Commonwealth Court of Justice. Reports had come in from Scain concerning a Arkhonian ship explosion. There was concern over the origin of the explosion. The Arkhonians and international community blamed Scain and the Scainish claimed innocence. Accusations ran wild and tensions were high. This is what inspector Henry Steinbeck was awoken too. Steinbeck ran across the halls of the new court of justice to the communications room. "Has there been any word from the delegates?"

The Communications manager passed a list of transcriptions to Steinbeck. "Yep the Jordanians, Germerians, Neroian, and the Scotts have responded and agreed to commence the investigation at 7:00 PM FUTC tomorrow. The Arkhonians seemed confused over the scheduling but seem to be fine with the investigation. The Scainish merely claimed innocence."

Steinbeck took a minute to look over the transcripts. "Thanks, keep me updated." Steinbeck went off. He had to arrange an investigatory panel and select candidates for a grand jury. These next few weeks would make or break the Commonwealth's Justice system.

Novo Razcon City, Novo Razcon
His Excellency's Office
2/26/19

The Supreme Leader was cautiously pacing the floor. A few hours ago, the International Court of Justice called a vote on whether to force Novo Razcon to cease its war with Claudiopolis out of concern for recent... aggression from the Empire. Luckily for the international community, Razcon was still busy mobilizing its troops to Claudiopolis, it's 450,000 troops. In distant Vardes, Plyric and Claudiopolis had a civil war spark between them; the Arkhon Federation and Nerodanus jumped to support Plyric, Razcon outright declared war on Claudiopolis, and the foolish Council of Scain declared war on Plyric. The third motion was swiftly shut down, but a prior vote to peacefully resolve the war also failed. Suddenly, a ring cried out through the room. Rushing to his desk, Jason Lee snatched at the phone to answer it.

"Johnson, I assume from your calling that the Court has made a ruling," he spoke, stuttering, stammering, and struggling to get the first few words out of his lips before recovering.

"Yes, sir. I'm sorry, but the court ruled against you. You'll need to repeal the declaration with Claudiopolis. I understand the issues this sudden retraction will bring," Matthew Johnson, the Novo Razconian delegate to the Court bluntly replied from the halls of the International Court of Justice for the Elvaryan Commonwealth.

"The international community was on my back for days. Honestly, I'm not surprised by the ruling, but thank you for calling as soon as possible. Farewell," the Supreme Leader hung up, leaning his head into his hands in preparation for the awkward conversations he'd have to deal with.

"ARE YOU FRAGGING ME?!" was the general response from the frustrated military after hearing the ruling, a rhetorical question the Leader responded by stating that profanity was unnecessary, confirming the ruling, and reluctantly ordering the pulling back of all forces from the Paval Military Base. Later that day, he decided to pass an amendment to the Claudiopolis War Act formally declaring the war nonexistent and reducing Novo Razcon's support to sending over surplus food supplies from the agricultural sector.

[UPDATE: NOVO RAZCON AND CLAUDIOPOLIS ARE NO LONGER AT WAR]

The very next day, around 6:00 AM, Novo Razconian Standard Time

Groggy from the struggles of last night, Lee struggled to get out of bed and get through his morning routine of exercise, breakfast, and cleaning himself up for the day. Getting into his office, Jason almost managed to place his rear end in his seat before the same phone as yesterday made its familiar ringing sound. Picking it up, Jason asked,

"Greetings, Johnson. What rulings have been made in the Court of Justice today, and how do they impact me?"

"Sir, it's not that. We have a Code Supermarine," the delegate quickly responded. Before Jason could even think "What the frag did Scain do now?", Matthew continued by explaining, "an Arkhonian ship in Scain exploded. The court's investigating it. Germeria is on prosecution, and Arkhon is on defense. The Scottish delegation asked us to join a coalition to invade him should the Council of Scain be found guilty. Shall I tell him you're interested and will move the forces to his base in Tadbu?"

"Yes, please and thank you. I'll inform the military to mobilize to Tadbu immediately. However, they will not invade anything yet. I have learned from prior events, and we must let the Court move as it will. I trust you to do what you can to ensure a guilty verdict," and with that, he concluded his call. To the joy of the Imperial Armed Forces, they will be mobilizing to a Tadbu military base, from which they will invade Scain should the kangaroo court rule them guilty.

New Castle, Arkhon Federation

Kim rolled over to stare down her blinking alarm clock. It had been a tradition of her's since Creatus school, staring down her alarm clock, refusing to believe that it was time to get up and begin the day. Kim hating the mornings, she hated having to do her hair and style her makeup - but it was a necessary evil and required for her job. Kim was a Chancellery Reporter for the Media Authority, and the only thing Kim enjoyed in the mornings was to go to work. Kim showered, fixed her makeup, dressed in her Wednesday clothes, and sat in front of her computer with a cup of coffee to check her mail. She opened her inbox and clicked on her daily briefing.

--
Dear Kim,

You are to report to the residence of the Chancellor at 6 am. The government has yet to release any prior documentation regarding the topic of this briefing, be prepared to communicate back to the station as soon as you are briefed.

Thanks,

Dave Parce Senior Politic Consultant
--

The message shocked Kim, the government rarely invited the media into the Chancellor's home, and when they did it was very important. Kim looked at the time; 5:15, shit, she had to hurry to make it on time.

Kim arrived at the Chancellor's Residence, passing through security with ease. Kim had never been inside the Residence, only on the lawn for an Executive Party last year. She was directed to the side doors and through a series of hallways decorated with oil paintings styled with gold frames and large oak doors so detailed, any god would be jealous. Although she was late, she was walking slowly to admire the grand building. The hallway led to a large hall draped with gold curtains, detailed with gold leaf walls and adorned with a chandelier made up of millions of diamonds. She thought to herself, "This one residence is worth the entire country of Scain".

Off the hall, Kim was directed into a room where her fellow Media colleagues were waiting arranged facing a crystal podium with the Arkhonian Seal graved into the front. Kim took the nearest seat. The room was alive with excitement, the noise was deafening as her colleagues argued about the nature of the meeting. Finally, a man approached the podium wearing a red Arkhonian Armband. Kim turned on her recorder and faced the man as he prepared his papers.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the Residence of the Chancellor. I am John Yoren and I will be speaking to you today about events that transpired last night, February 27, 2019, at 10:14 pm off the Coast of Scain. Please hold all questions until the end.

The following is a series of the events that transpired last night,
At 10:21 pm, Admiral Rex Parsly of the Second Vestila Fleet received word that an Arkhonian Frigate, the AFS Rane, exploded while sailing near the Scainish Lewis Island.
At 10:23 pm, Admiral Parsly sent several rescue boats escorted by two Warships to the AFS Rane,
At 10:31 pm, the rescue boats arrived at the remnants of the AFS Rane followed immediately by the Warships,
At 11:20 pm, Captain Hardly of the Warship AFS Caeron confirmed that the explosion of AFS Rane caused 54 Arkhonian Casualties and 34 Arkhonian deaths. 32 Arkhonians survived the attack unharmed.
At 11:21 pm, New Castle was informed of the attack
At 11:34 pm, New Castle approved an investigation of the attack

Today, I have the report from the investigation. It was found that before the attack, all systems on the AFS Rane were functioning properly. No system was displaying signs of malfunction. There was no mechanical malfunction leading up to the explosion, there was no structural malfunction leading up to the explosion, and there was no chemical malfunction leading up to the explosion. The explosion came from the engine room via an external object with high traces of nitrate. Most of the crew was heading to bed or in bed when the explosion occurred. The camera operating system was destroyed in the attack and cannot provide evidence sufficient enough for court proceedings.

Today the nation of Scain will be prosecuted by the International Court of Justice. The Arkhon Federation places blame on the nation of Scain for promoting hostilities against the Federation and urges the court to pursue appropriate punishment. The Federation will leave the decision to the Court. More news will come tonight when the Court has made its final ruling.

Thank you for your time, I will now take questions."
"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect." - Mark Twain

Scain Invasion: The Sequel

Postby Peoples Republic of New Scotland » Wed Feb 28, 2018 9:47 pm

New Scottish War Room
Undisclosed, New Scotland
February 28, 2019
9:30 PM NSST

Another eventful day had passed courtesy of the Commonwealth and Scain. The past several days had consisted of another Scanish attack on the Arkhon Federation, a Commonwealth "investigation" came and went. This was followed by a trial and finally plans for war. It had been decided the Commonwealth would invade Scain.

Horatio had gotten the news of the Commonwealth vote right after the final count was announced. He was quick to summon the minister of defense to go over the re-worker War Plan Pink.

"Alright Doneghy, what did you come up with?" Horatio sat down at the end of a long conference table. Doneghy handed him a dossier and began his briefing.

"Sir." Doneghy saluted. "As you know the Commonwealth has tasked us with the western-most island, Sal Island, the invasion will take place in four steps. First is the scouting and reconnaissance, second is the initial para-drop, third is the invasion, fourth is the push inward." Doneghy paused to bring up a satellite map of Sal Island. Then he continued with the briefing.

"Starting at two hours after you sign the order the NSFIA will begin reconnaissance flights over the proposed beach head zones and will commence in re-tasking satellites to provide with updated pictures every 90.4 minutes. The NSFIA Signals branch will also begin monitoring any un-encrypted communications on the island and attempt to de-crypt any coded communications. The reconnaissance flights will continue until 30 minutes before the invasion." Doneghy paused and switched to the next slide, a satellite map of the Northern coast of Sal Island.

"At D-day H-hour-5 we will proceed with the initial pathfinder drop. Under the cover of darkness we will drop the 102nd pathfinder company. They will be deployed as a HALO jump over the three intended beachheads. They will have an hour to mark the drop zones using the standard issue IR beacons. They will also serve as a limited scout force reporting back to central command of any visible troop movements via encrypted radio. this ends phase one." He proceeded to switch to the next slide detailing a satellite map with topographic and infrastructure.

"These are the three beachheads codenamed Gold, Silver, and Bronze. At D-day H-hour-4 the main paratrooper force will drop in. This will be conducted by the 100th Paratrooper battalion. Their goal is to seize key bridges and roads, destroy any communications lines, and to slow any counter attack once the invasion begins. They will be given limited air support during this period."

"Phase three would consist of the invasion. This would occur at D-day H-hour, approximately 7:00 AM NSST. The invasion force will be made up of the First, Second, and Third mixed regiments. Their goal is to push past any defense on the beaches. Once they have established the beachheads we will open up with naval guns and air support on the pre-sighted zones. During this point the fighting vehicles will move to the beach and the army engineers corps will begin to set up a temporary dock to move supplies on to the beach. Once the vehicles make land they will push to connect the beachheads. From there we will begin phase four." Doneghy switched to the final slide.

"Phase four consists of the landing force link up with the paratroopers. This is to be done two hours after the beachheads are connected. The three mixed regiments will push 5 miles inward to connect all paratroopers. All forces will then dig in and wait for the air cavalry to move in so the main push into the island can commence." Doneghy paused. "A more detailed timeline and outline of forces is present in the dossier. As of the last survey the weather while not perfect it should be suitable for the invasion. We also believe Scain might use chemical weapons on our forces so until we are absolutely certain that they can't use any our troops will be deployed in full chemical gear. " Horatio began reading through the dossier when one of his aids burst into the war room.

"Sir news from the Commonwealth!" The aid stopped to give Horatio a transcript. "The Scainish delegation has called for a re-vote concerning the Commonwealth intervention." Horatio thanked the aid and dismissed him.

"This god damn bureaucratic mess!" Horatio cursed. "Can you update the timeline for the 12-hour voting period?" Horatio inquired.

"Yes sir we can." Doneghy replied.

"Thank you Bill. I'll sign the order and let you know as soon as the Commonwealth vote comes in."

"Thank you sir. Have a nice night." Doneghy saluted then turned and left. Horatio got up to go back to his office. This was going to be a long night.

Scain Chronicles

Jord War Room
Undisclosed, Jord
February 28, 2019
10:00 PM

The war room inside of the capital city was ablaze. Men and women were at their station's while Generals Rogal Dorn and Corvus Corax followed by Admiral Leman Russ sat at the war table discussing their invasion and occupation of Spain.

One of the Desk boys came running up to them, carrying a stack of papers in his hand and saluted as he approached them.

"Sir, new transmission from Scotland!" He announced.

"At ease," Rogal said as he and his fellow leaders turned to the man, "What word does our ally bring?"

"Scotland has shared with us some of their plans for the invasion, as well as relayed a message from the Commonwealth. A re-vote has been called from Scain regarding the invasion and is now in effect until tomorrow."

"Damn politics," Russ muttered, tired of all the waiting, "We already know the poll will be the same as last time, Scain is clearly just stalling to buy more time he cannot afford."

"Patience Leman, this just gives us more time to think of our plans for the invasion," Corvus said to his friend.

"But we already have everything planned out, and we have a full regiment of troops on standby, and my fleet all gassed up ready to deploy!"

Rogal just sighed as he pinched the bridge of his temple, feeling another headache coming on from all the pointless rambling Scain has caused them.

"I understand your frustration friend, but we must be patient," Rogal reasoned.

"But why!? We've been patient enough with Scain. Do they think they can stall us forever?"

"From what I understand sir they almost gave us free occupation without resistance. Though Minister Pierre informed us that they wished for a single year of occupation, nothing we cannot have since it would take a minimum 3-5 years of occupation before we return the nation to them."

"Damn idiots, we should have never let a bunch of fucking pirates form their own nation. Look what happened!"

"I have to agree with Leman here," Corvus spoke, "I can never understand how we could trust Scain to actually be reasonable. From what Hugo has told me they have barely an understanding of politics. It's giving all of us a headache."
Everyone had to agree with that. Ever since Scain ever became a nation, their minister of Foreign Affairs Hugo Pierre cannot seem to get a break with them, as well as the other nations or that matter. How anyone could have such a backward way with politics and government is simply breathtaking in how unreliable they are.

"Changing the subject. What is Scain's main priority regarding the defense of their homeland, out of curiosity that is?" Rogal asked the Desk boy.

"Evidence has shown that Scain's main fear resides within losing their culture and religion, Sir."

"If you ask me it's a good thing. They act like savages sacrificing people to their so-called god. A bunch of zealots if you ask me if their many threats against us and others haven't made it clear," Leman argued.

"Normally I would ask we reframe from judging another's culture and religion, though I have to agree that Spain appears to be rather... Barberic if anything."

"Speaking of which, what are the chances of Civilians attacking us?"

"Pretty high sir," The desk man interjected, "Scain is a pretty fanatical state, and their government could be arming civilians and spreading the word to resist all foreign troops from entering. Including ours. They have also released many testaments saying that we should "Fear the wrath of God if we invade them,"."

"Then we simply have to follow Rules of Engagement. Though I would prefer to avoid shooting any civilians, we will do what we must to ensure our troop's safety and keep the peace while occupying the capital." Corvus said, "As for the whole god thing we just ignore it, let them have their superstitions."

"Well alright then," Rogal said before turning to the desk boy, "anything more to report son?"

"Nothing sir, that is all."

"Good, dismissed," He said as the man walked away with a salute, "Well we already have our plans set, so now we're simply waiting on word from the poll, as well as what Nerodanus scouts tell us of their defenses. Speaking of which, how goes the fleet Leman, everything prepared?"

"As it stands I have 50 various ships ready to both carry the troops overseas and blockade them."

"Good, we should be able to take their beach with relative ease, though I will be asking Nerodanus to help provide some Air support on the beach to make things easier for us as a whole."

"When will Nerodanus be landing their troops exactly?" Rogal asked.

"Right when we take the beach. Nerodanus will then drop their troops down, afterword we will then meet up with them before making sure all of our gear is moved onto land and prep for the move towards the capital."

"That reminds me," Leman said as he turned over to Rogal, "Who have you assigned to lead the attack?"

"I have put Colonel Elana Sov in charge of leading the 1st regiment of troops through Scain. I have faith she will succeed with ease, even more so with our Nerodanus allies."

"Have you equip them with proper gear? I heard that they may be using Chemical weapons to defend their lands," Corvus asked.

"I made sure all troops are equipped with full gear ready for anything they could throw at us, and made sure everyone knows the procedure of how to deal with such tactics."

"What is the estimate of how long it will take to occupy them again? 2 weeks?" Leman asked.

"3-4 weeks at most, though hopefully, things will speed up once we get closer to the capital."

"What of our other allies? I know Arkhon was hoping to take the largest of the islands, would it take longer?"

"Possibly, though the larger island seems to be made up of small farms and mining villages, so it should be a little easier and take the same amount of time depending on their tactics. As for Novo Razonica and the others, I have no clue."

"Sir!" One of the other desk boys said from his spot across the room, "Incoming call from Novo Razonica."

"Well speak of the devil," Rogal muttered as he got up from his seat, "Let's see what our friends have to say on the matter shall we?"

War Room
Drakodia, Nerodanus
February 28, 2019
11:30 PM NCST

The Neroian War Room had not been as busy as it was this night since the end of the Razonican War. Men and Women sat at their appropriate stations and a satellite feed of the Scanish Capital Island was in view. Maxim Kuznetsov was there sitting towards the rear of the room. Next to him sat General Borkins, the General who lead Neroian Troops during the Razonican War. Though his expertise was above what was necessary, the Scanish have proven to be somewhat resourceful, blowing up an Arkhonian Ship out of nowhere.

The last of the commanding forces were still to arrive. Checking his watch Maxim let out a soft sigh and leaned back in his chair. As if on cue the elevator door opened and out stepped Admiral Sergey Yegorov and Vitaly Ivanovich, the Neroian ambassador to the General Council of the Commonwealth. Standing up Maxim dismissed their salutes.

"Admiral, pleasure to see you as always." The Admiral nodded back but quickly passed the speaking role to Vitaly.

"Premier forgive the sudden intrusion however I have come to tell you that Scain has called for a re-vote on the coalition invasion. We have already voted in favor of the invasion. Jord stands at the ready as too does New Scotland and Novo Razcon."

Maxim turned back to the screens across the room. Troops Jets have yet to take off from the Coalition gathering in Tadbu for the Neroian air assault. The Carrier Floatilla stands at the ready. Approximate positions of allied troops are also marked. Facing the Ambassador he thanked him then dismissed him before turning to the Admiral.

"This is your area of expertise. You and Borkins will need to work together to handle the troops." Maxim took a step back to address both Borkins and Sergey.

"Sergey will have the initial assault. Bombings, beach landings, and paratroops. Once forces hit land they will revert to Borkins. Make sure you find a way for both plans to transition seamlessly. However I give override requests to Polkovnik Starinovl, who will be the local commander down there. You have half a day to finish your plans and get them out to the Polkovnik."

After an affirmative from both the two went down to work on a map of Scain, taken from reconnaissance drones earlier. There was little resistance that the combined armies of Jord and Nerodanus would face. The large problem would be the urban fighting in the Capital. However Chemical Weapons will play a major role there.

Several Hours later

By now the staff had changed out for the final time. Everyone present would be participating in the upcoming assault. The Admiral and General have outlined their plans and sent them to the Polkovnik.

1) Bombing Campaign on the beaches and their defenses. Bombers will move further inland with escorts
2) Jordian Troops will land on the beaches while Neroian forces airdrop in behind them under cover of phosphorus smokescreen
3) Secure the beach, blockade the island
4) Establish a F.O.B. and land supplies and armor
5) Push towards the Capital
6) Secure the Capital
7) Secure the rest of the Island

The timing of the attack has been left to the commanders at the battle site to determine. Once everything was in place and the Scanish re-vote call ended, the operation will begin.

New Castle, Arkhon Federation
February 28, 2019

General Hax was sitting in the Arkhonian Situation Room. The room was populated with the most important people in the Federation, sitting around a circular table. The Chancellor was placed, looking directly at the large screens that were positioned on the wall several feet from the table. General Hax was sitting three chairs away from the Chancellor, not in a position to make an error. The Chancellor, who was already acting strangely, looked malevolent as lights from the screens danced upon his face. Hax was hoping that this attitude was directed to Scain, not to his staff. Since the Scainish attack, the Chancellor was in no mood to do anything but to destroy Scain. It was understandable, the Chancellor always gave Scain the benefit of the doubt. He approved several deals with Scain and even gave up control over two of his islands. After the attack, it seemed like the Chancellor was prepared to show Scain the full might of the Federation. An assistant came and whispered in the Chancellor's ear. The Chancellor cleared his throat and addressed the table,

"I have just received word that the nations of Novo Razcon, Nerodanus, and Jord have released their plans of invasion. Our plans have been finished and they await approval today. Let us begin. General Hax, please give us a rundown of the current invasion plan.

General Hax arranged his papers and pulled up a satellite image of Lewis Island on the largest screen. He then cleared his throat,

"The plan is centered around our detailed knowledge of this island. While under Arkhonian rule, we managed to reorganize the urban sprawl, as well as several essential components to urban living. We built or refurbished the entire water system on the island, building wells connected to the water system for farming villages. This system will be the first victim of our plan. Two Arkhonian Caretakers will be deployed tonight if the plan is approved, and release an agent into the water system that will severely disable the physical aptitude of anyone who drinks the water. The agent will naturally break down within a week.

After the majority of the population is disabled we will begin stage two. This stage will consist of 163 Arkhonian ships - two Arkhonian fleets -
surrounding the island. Any and all attacks made on any of the ships will warrant return fire via missiles.

Stage three will consist of Arkhonian Caretakers paratrooping to the island, securing major beachheads and killing any person who tries to stop them from executing their job. Since the majority of the population is disabled, the Caretakers will assume no major threat.

Once the Caretakers have secured the island, Stage Four will consist Stratos Forces moving in. An entire field army will storm several beachheads - without much resistance - and take the island officially - and raising the Arkhonian Flag. Any questions?"

"What are the code names of the beachheads?" The Chancellor asked smiling.

"Hades, Thanatos, Anubis, and Pluto. Any other questions No? Let's continue."

"During Stage five, Arkhonian Troops will gather the Scainish people living on the island, remove any weapons, and place them into makeshift pens. The population will begin to regain their motor function while inside the pens.

Stage six will consist of sorting out who is dangerous and who can leave the pens and resume their daily lives. We are expecting minor resistance throughout the operation. Any questions"

A General spoke up, "What is the time frame?"

"Since we are taking the island with little resistance, I expect that the entire invasion will take a little more than a week."

The room was silent, everyone was considering the plan. It was a smart plan, the Arkhon Federation would not have to do much. The Chancellor spoke up,

"Well, I think that we can all agree that the plan is sound. Are there any objections?"

The Room was silent.

"The plan is approved, it will begin tonight."

2/28/19
Scottish Military Base in Tadbu

The Novo Razconian Imperial Armed Forces were abuzz with activity, the anxiety within them incomparable. At the moment, the International Court of Justice had ruled Scain guilty of the destruction of the AFS Rane and had been debating the decision on punishment. Among the options was an invasion of the ex-pirates by a coalition, one His Excellency couldn't have agreed too quick enough. In the War Room on the mainland, the Leader and his Imperial Ministry discussed and resolved a war plan, otherwise known as Operation Great White Shark. The plan was as follows:

1. Full-scale aerial assault of the Easternmost Island. This includes napalm, white phosphorus, chlorine gas, conventional bombings, air superiority fighters, destruction of agriculture and industry, and the general whole 8 meters.

2. Troop transfer to the Tadbu Military Base

3. Aircraft will land in Tadbu if they need to resupply.

4. Naval blockade of the Easternmost Island. All ships or planes bearing the Scainish flag shall be shot on sight until sinking or diving without control.

5. D-Day style invasion using the landing craft to establish a beachhead and military outpost. From there, more troops will be sent to the island.

6. After 2 weeks to one month (being generous), the island falls, and Razconian forces instill martial law and assist the rest of the CAS.

Suddenly, a message came in on a phone attached to the bleak silver walls. A proverbial chain of messages flew from Court to War Room to Tadbu.

"THE COURT RULED ON PLAN 2! NOVO RAZCONIAN IMPERIAL ARMED FORCES, PREPARE TO MOBILIZE IN T-30 MINUTES! MOVE MOVE MOVE!" Blared the loudspeaker, its commanding voice ordering the men into their planes and ships.

Roughly 30 minutes later

A thick veil of darkness consumed the airfield. The only distinctions between runway and grass were the lights, from both the ground and the hulking masses of metal standing upon small poles of the landing gear.

In his seat aboard the fighter, a pilot receives a transmission from a nearby air control tower.

"NRIAF Fighter Venom 5, you are clear to take off. Go as soon as possible."

With those words, the engines of the craft blared to life, an orange-blue flame sparking to life within the two barrels. Within a few seconds, the jet launches across the runway, its elegant form racing across the tarmac. Then, the impossible happened. It took flight, rising through the air and folding its landing gear under its undercarriage. Anyone close to the craft would've heard a horrible noise, sounding as though the psychological feeling of terror had vocal cords. One hundred seventy-five other planes later took off with 25 helicopters and 20 warships, all charging from Tadbu to the Easternmost Island of Scain. The Novo Razconian Imperial Military, a force once barred from any capacity to fight, could now finally unleash itself upon the Council of Scain.

Meanwhile, back on the mainland

"SERIOUSLY, SCAIN CALLED A VOTE TO KNOCK THIS OFF?" The Supreme Leader shouted to his delegation to the Elvaryan Commonwealth with a certain fury giving a scorned woman a run for her money.

"Unfortunately, yes," the delegates said through the video screen.

"You know what, new plan. We'll have the forces circle the island. If the vote fails, we whip their arses. If not, we go in regardless," the frustrated head of state said, earning a chorus of approval from his Ministry. Everyone knew the vote would fail in 12 hours. No one really likes Scain.

"I am seriously considering nuking the island. Before anyone says anything, I refuse to make such a bold move. The Council is just SO annoying that I wish I could personally stab them," he growled, a statement to which everyone agreed. No one really likes Scain.

"Council of Scain, prepare yourselves for my fiery wrath! You have irritated everyone for far too long! If I could've KILLED you, I would, but the Commonwealth would never allow that," the man monologed to himself, earning a few concerned looks from his ministers.

Twelve hours later, once the voting period ended

"F#CK! F#CK! F#CK!" Immediately after the initial vote ended, Scain called for ANOTHER vote. Thank you very much, loopholes. The previous cursing from Jason Lee would be followed by an impressive five-minute long string of expletives, shouts, insulting gestures, and death threats towards the Scainish delegation to the Commonwealth. Having finally managed to recollect himself, he ran back into the room, making a small but existent dent in the door on the way in.

"I'm fine now. Scain keeps finding new ways to irritate me," he stated, "So, how are the forces doing?"

"They're back on the base, sir. They decided to retreat to Tadbu to save fuel," his Minister of the Environment replied.

"My Leader, I have a message from the Commonwealth. It seems as though Scain is surrendering," told Matthew Johnson. His fellow delegate, Jake Harmon was in the General Council debating the issue.

"I still suspect it to be a trap. Tell Mr. Harmon to instruct the Scainish to hand over their easternmost island to me and that THEY will be responsible for any sort of trickery or mischief that happens to Novo Razconians on the island. If it is a trap, they will pay for it in kind," Lee ordered, "I will send a decoy of myself to the island in my personal jet to greet the Scainish with a full security detail. If anything happens to my decoy within one month, we attack. NONE of you are to tell anyone about this!"

March 2nd, 2019,
10:00 AM
South Vestila Ocean, around an hour from Scain's easternmost island

A cool blue sky with few clouds rose over the similarly-colored waters. The sun was shining, and a calm breeze blew through the ocean. The weather couldn't have been nicer, aside from a light drizzle. Almost seems like the perfect day to kick someone's rear end. In fact, the warbirds flying in the air were already on the move to do exactly that. Several wings of jets were streaking across the air, sounds similar to an old Germerian fighter tearing through the sky as they traveled. The force was simple: 25 fighters, 25 bombers, 25 surface attack jets, 25 radar jammers, 25 forward scouts, and 25 unmanned drones, all charging to raise h#ll on Scain's easternmost island.

Roughly one hour later

The first two wings- the scouts and jammers- arrived on the island. The rain from the ocean was spitting upon the island as well. A gorgeous scene it was, with luscious greens growing on fresh volcanic soil, beaches the color of pure sugar, and a stone-grey volcano overlooking the scene in the distance, streams of searing red slithering out the caldera with pillars of smoke also spiraling outwards. Surprisingly, a majority of the eruptions were non-explosive. However, the citizens did make some urban settlements.
The Scainish barely noticed the jets over the island, and the few who did barely did anything. It's not like Scain could do anything with a jammed radar. In fifteen minutes, the faith of the Scainish in the Sea God would be put to the test by the legions of 150 metal dragons, armed with knowledge from the scouts.

Fifteen minutes later: NOVO RAZCON HAS BEGUN INVADING SCAIN!

The fourth Island of Scain bore the full brunt of the Imperial Air Force. Bombs rained down from above like meteors ready to raze all the Scainish held dear. Any industrial centers and major settlements faced napalm, white phosphorus, and chlorine gas. Hellish conflagrations consumed the buildings with a spectrum of yellows, oranges, reds, blues, and whites; the Sun overhead itself faced a challenge for the position of the brightest light. A horrific chorus of screams rattled the region, acting as a desperate call for support against the barbarians. The only reason the helpers saw mercy was because the Supreme Leader wished not to be accused of war crimes. Even the few who did help could no next to nothing before Death succeeded in snatching his harvests. Explosions roared across the island, accompanied by the clanks and crunches of shattering parts. In addition to the volcano, the red of Scainish blood ran across the land. Where is Scain's Sea God now? Where will Scain's Sea God be in a few days, when the Navy will surround the island? Where will Scain's Sea God be when Novo Razconian boots march upon the ground of Scain? Where will Scain's Sea God be when the islands fall and all faith in him is crushed?

All Actions has Consequences

Postby Plyric » Fri Mar 02, 2018 10:52 pm

Grumhelwale, Plyric
Grumhelwale Capital Building

Gallius has returned from his vacation, which was going all around Elvarya to enjoy some off time from Plyric. However Gallius wasn't that excited to return since he had received news that Plyric is now in a civil war. Gallius pushes his hair out from the front of his eyes, and continues to walk towards his office, but notices his brother was talking with the secretary outside of his office, who seems to question the poor woman about something.

"Listen, I understand his suppose to be back soon, but can you please tell me what he did, know he ain't going to tell me" Lucius says as he seem to calmly put his hand on the desk.

"Brother, what do you mean I ain't going to tell you anything? That's a bit hypocritical hearing that from you" Gallius said. Lucius turns around pretty swiftly and stands there with a half smile on his face.

"I was wondering, since you haven't answered any of my calls while you've been away. But anyway, I have a lot of things to tell you, which I'm sure you know at least " Lucius says as he walks towards Gallius with open arms.

Gallius accepts his brother hug and begins to walk towards his office.

"I'm glad to see hat you're more welcoming than before, Usually you don't greet me like this ever. Has something changed for you to have a change in behavior?" Gallius says as he puts his briefcase down on his desk.

"I wanted a favor from you, and I thought being nice to you when you returned would help secure he deal" Lucius says as he sat down.

"It's depend on the favor, because this civil war ordeal isn't going to make me leave again. I want to at at least relax before I have to go out again." Gallius says as he opens his briefcase and pulls most of the gifts he received from friends while he was out.

"That isn't what I want, I'm aware that you know people who may help us with a few thorns that are in our sides at the moment. I want you to talk to our little friend who just arrived from Germeria and offer him a job that he possibly can't refuse." Lucius says as he pushes a card to Gallius, who then picks it up and sees that it's a card for an assassin.

"Why do I have to speak with this man? I don't recognize the name from anywhere" Gallius says as he looks confused about the card.

"You don't remember 'Little" Willy, a friend of ours a couple years back? He has a couple of people who work for him, and they seem to be pretty good at what they do. Because I need someone who isn't a Plyrican to kill a few people and Willy has me covered, he has sent an Ex-Razconian to do a couple jobs for us, bu I can't leave this building yet, because Brutus still wants to talk to me about a couple things." Lucius says as he gets up from the chair

"I guess I will do this, but can I finish my arrival now, since I still have to unpack everything. But before you leave, tell me what happened since the first battle at the border." Gallius says as he continues to look at the gifts he has in front of him.

"Well, the Claudians managed to cut off our supply line within the territory that we had gained since the first battle, so we had to pull back to the border, but out of the 7 battles, we had won a good 5 or so, Brutus knows the number more than me, but I know we are still ahead in battles." Lucius says as Gallius begins to think.

"Have you ever had the idea to use the air force? We do have that policy still in place since the war, which has prisoners to be recruited in the military, we can always use them as suicide pilots, just like we had planned before" Gallius says as Lucius scratches his stubble.

"Brutus had rather the idea that we use actual people from more legal means, which I do agree with for once" Lucius says as he begins to walk towards the door.

"Legal means, but we created that policy, since when it became illegal? That make no sense, I feel there's more at this than "legal means" and I don't like that feeling. Gallius says, but Lucius already has left the room.

Gallius finishes putting up his stuff and looking at the gifts, then Gallius picks up the phone in his office and dials a number on the type pad. The phone begins to send the call forward until he reaches a line with white noise playing then a long beep with a creaky voice follows through.

"I see that you kept your promise for returning the call, so how was your return back home" said the voice on the phone.

"It was fine, but you're right about the events going on right now, when I get the chance, I'll meet you in our little location that we always meet at, I hate to keep you waiting." Gallius says as he hangs up the phone.

Gallius gets up and walks out of his office and starts to head out before he's stopped by Brutus who noticed him.

"How was your vacation sir? I heard from your brother it was very nice." Brutus says as he shakes Gallius hand.

"It was fine, could've been better in some places, we had to avoid the Scainish islands since the hostilities with us and them has risen to a point where avoidance is the only we can do. How's the war going?" Gallius says as Brutus looks at him with a smile.

"I know Lucius told you the minimalist version of the story, but so far, we may had lost some grounds in Claudiopolis, but we had won more battles than they had, thanks to the support we have, however we may hit a wall soon due to some of the support is starting to dwindle down, which may lead to a problem down the line, so it's pretty much a war for us to keep Pons instead of kicking Claudiopolis off the map." Brutus says as he pulls his watch out.

"Well, what ever happens, I can't give hope to those who needs it, but if a problems needs my attention, I can surely help with that anything that doesn't rely on me alone" Gallius says as he walks away from Brutus and gets into the car that was awaiting for him down the steps.

Tadbu Coalition Base

The Neroian floatilla stationed in Tadbu had been spending the whole last few days getting ready. Troop Jets had lined up on the runways fueling and loading all the supplies the Paratroopers were going to need during the initial invasion. A single gunship was being readied at the request of Jord to support his troops in their initial invasion. Back on the carrier the bombers were being loaded with tear gas and conventional bombs. Fighters were loaded up with ammunition, air to air, and air to surface missiles. Helicopters were loaded up similarly to maintain air superiority against whatever Scanish air force may exist.

The Carrier Flotilla had moved out of Dock to allow other ships to ready up. In the command center of the Carrier, Polkovnik Starinovl sat in waiting for the call from the Kremlin in Drakodia to move out towards Scain. In front of him was laid out on a computer desk was a satellite feed of Scain before the light drizzle hit. The troop locations visible were marked, landing zones selected, and blockade points established. Starinovl had full belief that many Scanish would surrender after being dispersed with Tear gas. However actual fighting for the capital then sporadic guerrilla warfare will slow down the total advancement. Letting out a deep sigh Starinovl looked up as a a little ding came from the laptop. The confirmation for the fleet to move out and head down towards Scain. The jets were to take off later and rendezvous after initial bombings. Standing up Starinovl went out and gave the order for the Flotilla to move out.

Several hours later, just outside of the Scanish Capital Island

The last few hours had been a wild run. Novo Razcon has begun its attack on the neighboring island, smoke slightly visible from the short distance the other island was from it. Meanwhile the Gunship and Troop Transport Aircraft had taken off and already almost caught up with the remainder of the fleet. On the deck of the Carrier the last of the bombers had begun their takeoff towards Scain. Fighter escorts circled around for the remainder to catch up before heading out towards Scain. Starinovl looked towards the map to confirm the position of the Jordian forces. Once the bombing was over and the Paratroopers were heading in to land it would fall to Jord and its forces to land its forces on the Beach before a joint push towards the Capital itself. Over the radio the first wave of attackers signaled a confirmation for orders to drop the tear gas, and destroy any beach defenses built. Speaking into his headset Starinovl gave confirmation before turning to look out the window towards the Scanish Beach's.

Jackie Trish, Kavul BU-40 Bomber
Jackie looked out the window towards the upcoming Scanish coast. Her hands sat on the controls of the Bomber calmly maintain her position within the formation. Various confirmations of readiness came over to her through the headset, she herself having already confirmed. The light rain over the Capital Island had come to a end as the sun began to break through the clouds. Looking at her forward camera she saw resistance lined up on the beach. Her designated tear gas drops and bombing locations already marked for her to see and inputed into her bombs GPS systems. Looking ahead she saw several decades old fighters approach them. The Scanish air force. The planes were barely running, and wildly inaccurate in their long distance shooting. Several bullets managed to hit Jackies bomber but did not do anything more than dent the armor. The Modern Fighters of Nerodanus quickly dispatched the few Scanish fighters with air to air missiles before continuing on with their mission.

It only took another minute and a half before the order was given for the gas and bombs to be launched. The bombs were the first to hit, destroying or damaging the Scanish anti-naval invasion bunkers and killing several defenders. The gas dropped shortly later, causing mass dispersal of the Scanish ground troops and making their forces confused. Though the gas would not last long enough to be in effect once the Paratroopers and Jord forces landed, it would be enough to ensure disorder and chaos among their ranks giving an easier assault for the ground troops. As the last of the bombs and gas went flying the wing began its flight back to the Carrier.

Polkovnik Starinovl

As Starinovl watched the aircraft begin their landing and return into the Carriers hangar he went over to his radio and signaled the Jord forces and Paratroopers to begin their attack. The Gunship would circle the fight and provide support and ground support craft launched before the return of the bombers and fighters will provide ground support to troops landing. They would maintain air superiority over the Scanish forces throughout the duration of the fighting. Though the heaviest is expected within the city itself.

Jord Naval Invasion

Postby Jord » Mon Mar 05, 2018 3:11 pm

March 2nd, 2019
11:00 AM
Coast of Scain's Capital Island

Captain Daniel Lavender was starting to feel a bit queasy.

He was in charge of leading his platoon in the act of taking and holding the beach, prepping it for the rest of the 1st regiment to unload and bring all their equipment onshore and meet up with the Nerodanus soldiers dropping in.

He and the rest of his platoon stood in their landing craft, waiting for it and the others to land on shore where they would be the first 250 men and women to step foot onto enemy territory.

They had just been given the green light to begin landing on the beach and were waiting for the moment when the ramp in front of them would drop and they would rush out onto the beach.

They weren't expecting much since most of their forts and defenses were have said to be crippled in the bombing run, though they were still weary that the few remaining along with their troops would not give them an easy fight.

After 10 minutes of standing still, all of the landing crafts suddenly came to a halt, and everyone in the carrier gripped their rifles firmly.

"Clear the ramp!" The driver of Daniel’s craft yelled out, preparing to drop it.

"Alright listen up! you get out and find cover immediately, do not underestimate these fuckers!" Daniel yelled to his men, "Look for impact craters on the beach and get under their guns you hear me!?"

"SIR!" All the troops responded.

"Ramp down!"

The ramp began to lower after the call and all of the troops rushed into hell, only to be met with a incoming enemy fire.

A few unlucky soldiers in the front fell to the ground along with anyone behind them from the incoming bullets, while the ones far back went over the edge as to avoid the bullets.

"Into the water!" Daniel yelled as he jumped over the edge and began to swim under the water as to not get shot.

After he got closer to shore, he and his men following crouch ran towards the beach past a few of his fellow countrymen both alive and dead, and dove into a nearby impact crater with a few other troops, while everyone else tried to avoid the fire and get to whatever crater or means of cover they could find.

"Sir they're dug deep into their trenches all over the damn beach!" A private said as he looked up over the ride.

"What about those fucking Nero Soldiers, where are they!?" Another asked, wondering where the hell their allies were.

"Above us right there!" Daniel said, pointing up at the small figures slowly falling down, which were also being shot at by Scainish soldiers, taking some of the head off them, but not enough to move up freely.

"Sir what do we do!? Wait for socialists or try to move up!?"

"We're not sitting here on our asses son! I want those front trenches cleared out by the time those Nero boys get their boots on this beach!"

"What do you suggest sir!?

Daniel thought over a few plans in his head of how to get his troops up, before thinking of an idea.

"Victoria!" Daniel cried out, gaining a blonde female soldiers attention.

"Sir?!" Victoria yelled out, looking at her CO.

"Get your squad ready. We're going to throw smokes and try to blind them. On my mark you move up, we'll give you covering fire!"

"Yes, Sir!" She said, relaying the message to her squad.

"Alright, get your smokes ready!"

The men reached for their grenades, fingers on the pin and waiting for the order to throw.

"Grenades out now!"

The men pulled the pins, before chucking the grenades out, almost all of them covering the space between them and the trenches while a few managed to land in the front trench, making a few Scainish soldiers stop shooting and try to cover their mouths.

"Victoria get in there! Everyone else covering fire now!"

The men raised their weapons up and fired into the smoke while a few aimed up at the remaining forts, managing to hit a few Unlucky Scainish soldiers and make a few others take cover to avoid the enemy bullets.

"Move up move up!" Victoria yelled as her troops ran up with weapons ready.

Her squad managed to avoid getting hit by the machine guns on the seawall, and when they got within a few yards opened fire on the trenches and hit any unlucky Scainish soldier who managed to be there.

"CLEAR!" Victoria yelled out to Daniel, seeing that the trench was empty and ready for the rest to move in.

"Move up move up, stay low!" Daniel yelled at everyone, jumping out of the crater and crouch running to the trench to avoid fire from the machine guns.

Just about all of the troops managed to avoid the incoming fire thanks to whatever amount of smoke was left, though a few unlucky ones managed to get grazed with a few also getting hit by snipers and going down.

"Is this everyone?!" Daniel asked the mass of troops, noticing they were 'missing' enough men to make up at least a small platoon.

"Yes, sir!" A Sargent cried out.

Daniel swore to himself. He expected the there to be a casualty count, but not one this high, from Scain of all people!

"Sir, the Socialists landed up ahead!" A Sargeant cried out as he looked up to see the Nerodanus paratroopers landed up ahead and were currently fighting in the farther trenches.

"How they doing?!"

"They managed to take out the MG's, but they're pinned down from the back by a few of those Scain fucks!"

"Alright move up! Omeg, Charlie, and Bravo squad go right and clear out the trench. Call for the rest of the landing party afterward. Rest of you with me and support the Nerodanus troops!" Daniel ordered.

Daniel and his men rushed deeper into the trench, taking out many Scainish soldiers with minimal losses and wounded on their part, before seeing a few Scainish soldiers fighting something up ahead. they took them out before rushing up to see a large number of friendly faces.

"Hey, over here!" A Nerodanus soldier yelled out to Daniel and motioned him to come over.

"Bout time you fuckers got here," Daniel greeted, "Who're you?"

"Captain Viktor Kravchenko 1st Airborne, you?"

"Captain Daniel Lavender 1st Infantry. What's the situation?"

"We managed to take out their remaining Mg's with RPGs, but we lost a few squads and have a few wounded. They got us pinned with sniper fire though and out of rockets so we can't blow them out. Where the rest of your guys?"

"I sent a platoon to flank the other side of the trench and clear them out, so right now it's just us until they clear everyone else out. They should be calling the rest of the landing party to come ashore now."

"Well we're gonna have to take out those snipers and move up if we're to give them any room. Any ideas?"

Thinking of an idea, Daniel asked one of his men to give him a mirror and taped it to a stick before holding it out high in front of him to see where the snipers were. They appeared to be all closed up together in a group, 3 to be exact, hiding behind broken stone walls and sandbags, ready to blow their heads off any moment. However, there also seemed to be a rather decent sized impact crater from the bombing run not too far to the size of the trench, which would provide good cover for someone.

"I got an idea. Campbell!" Daniel cried out, motioning for a brunette female sniper to come over.

"Sir?" She asked.

"See that crater over there? We're going to throw some smoke and give you cover fire. On my mark run like hell over there and take cover and blow their heads off one by one."

"Got it."

"Kravchenko, you're men good to give cover fire?"

"Just say the word."

"Alright, smokes out!"

Once more the Jord troops took out their smoke grenades and threw them out over the trench, where soon a large cloud of smoke came up and blocked out the sniper's vision for the most part.

"Covering fire!"

"You hear him, unleash Hell of them!" Viktor called out.

The combined fire from Jord and Nerodanus troops caused the Scainish snipers on the ridge to back up, with a few taking a hit to their shoulders or chest, while the majority managed to survive.

"Campbell move up now!"

The sniper nodded quickly before climbing over the trench and running over to the crater, diving right into it to avoid being shot at by any Scainish soldier.

She then crawled over to the edge of her cover, taking aim with her rifle and seeing the heads of a few Scainish soldiers who were dumb enough to not wear a helmet, spraying and praying into the smoke cloud and trench to clear out the invading forces, but seemingly missing her.

"Burn in hell you sons of bitches," She said before putting a bullet in every soldier she could see.

She saw that one of the soldiers was holding what looked like some sort of explosive vest, and held an old rifle with a bayonet on him. Must be some sort of suicide charger. Drastic times call for drastic measures.

"Not today motherfucker."

Campbell took aim at the man and put a bullet right in his chest, causing the explosive vest to go off and take the men next to him out with him. She did this once more time at the last group of snipers on the ridge, before the side of the cliff was clear for the combined forces to move up.

"Sir!" Victoria cried as she and the other troops came from the up to Daniel, "Trench is clear, and the rest of the landing party is moving in to hold the beach."

"Finally," Daniel muttered, "Alright men move up, I want those cliffs secure and I want it done now!" He ordered, Jord and Nerodanus Troops moving up to finish taking the beach.

After clearing the forts of whatever Scainish troops were left on top of the seawall, the combined Jord, and Nerodanus soldiers began to clean up the place and hold it down and wait for the full landing party and APC's to come ashore before making their move towards the capital. Together they lost enough men to fill a large platoon, though they would make sure their sacrifices would not be in vain.

Meanwhile, two Jord privates walked near a small hill on the farther side of the cliffs and see what lay ahead of them, however, they stopped as they saw a rather strange looking ditch nearby. It wasn't deep nor did it look to be from the bombing run, and there appeared to be some sort of strange totems around to it. The two walked up to the ditch and looked down, and their eyes went wide at what they saw.

"Holy Fuck!" The first private yelled as he backed away from a ditch, while his buddy turned away and nearly threw up "Sir you need to come see this!"

Daniel and Viktor turned to where the soldiers were and jogged over to the ditch. When they looked inside they felt their stomachs drop, and both men felt like throwing up at what they saw.

It was a bunch of young girls, none older than 16, naked as the day they were born with a bunch of strange markings drawn over their bodies. Their throats were cut and chests cut open making a large visible hole, with a large puddle of blood forming under them and staining the earth a dark crimson.

"HM!" A Nerodanus private grunted as he went to throw up over the edge of the cliff, disgusted by what he saw.

"It's a sacrifice," Daniel spoke in disgust, "Scain does this as religious worship and to pray to their 'God'."

"Fuck, they did this when that Arkhon ship blew up didn't they?" Viktor said, remembering the reports of celebration they did, "They must have done this to pray for victory against up."

"Well looks like their 'God' failed to deliver."

"Fucking savages."

Daniel looked down at the young women with sympathy in his eyes. He and many people around the world knew of Scain and their religious zealot ways, though nobody has ever really seen what they have done before. And seeing it made him sick to his core.

"Someone get a camera, the world needs to see the kind of enemy we're fighting here."

It had been a day since Luke was deployed to the island of Scain. His mission was clear - to clean up after the Navy's assault on the island. The Navy had given the Scainish people a day to retreat into a safe zone which was a small urban city left over from the Arkhonian ownership of the island, in order to evade invasion. The people that remained outside the safe-zone were deemed combatants - free to attack. That was Luke's job - to kill anyone that didn't already die from the Navy's missiles. His mission was much like hunting, and to help him hunt, he had a heat signature device, satellite images, and other equipment so that he and his buddies could sneak around the island and kill anyone in sight.

The day of hunting was over, however, and not many combatants were left. The beaches lacked defenses and the cities lacked people. It had become a ghost island, free from human pollution. Luke was with his unit heading to the northern beach to watch the general invasion. As they reached the beach, they could see the smoking remnants of Sal Island but not the island itself. It was covered up by Arkhonian Warships that had encircled Lewis island. Even closer to the island, Luke spotted two Amphibious Landing Crafts that were heading toward the beach.

Luke and his unit found a patch of shade under a grove of coconut trees to rest. The landing craft came onto the beach with ease and at least five-hundred to a thousand men poured out onto the hot sand. The ghost island was no more as the silence gave way to the many voices of the military. The Occupation of Lewis Island had just begun.

The people of Scain were directed to Scains underground defense facility which was built from Arkhonian money. The facility hid all of the people on each island from gas, bombs, and other stuff. The facility was also stocked with weapons, mines, and bombs to attack the invaders. The people were safe when the invasions began.

Nero and Jord Invasion
The bombs did nothing, and there troops got to the island without any resistance. The plan would be to constantly attack them with small forces until they had enough. Each time they built something it would be destroyed and so on. They would be in constant fear of an attack.

Arkhon
Arkhon thought that a safe-zone would work, but no Scainish person would listen to him. They were all safe in the facility they built. Arkhon could not find any people either and the same plan would be in place: To constantly attack them.

Novo Razcon
Razcon thought that gas would do something but it did not. The facility stopped gas from getting in. The Novo Razcon island was completely rigged with explosives and the people of the island were willing to die from the explosion to take our the Razcon army. Once the army entered the island, it will be blown up and they will all die.

Schönbrunn Palace

Friedrich saw his cousin blush at the special attention given to her, and was inwardly relieved. The pair seemed to have already made a good impression, and he had little doubt they would form a firm connection if left to their own devices. He let the two of them converse for the next half-hour, only speaking when the attention was given to him and then subtly shifting the topic of conversation back to them. Eventually an Imperial Guardsmen, one of the man disguised as servers and nobility, passed by and told him that a message was waiting for him. Excusing himself, Friedrich walked through the ball room and to an isolated room, where another guardsmen waited by an open laptop, with several different windows open each showing live feeds to several different ministers from Germeria and Varumia.

"What is it commander?" Friedrich questioned. Commander Berchtold von Berg was one of the first volunteers to join the Varumian Federal Security Bureau, the Reichskommissariat's internal police force and the head of it's L'épée D'or counter insurgency operations. Talking with the Reichskommissar earlier in the month, they had formed a plan with Germerian RSS intelligence to surgically extract L'épée D'or terrorists from one of the splinter cities following the collapse of Razonica. Director Otto Skorzeny of the RSS had brought this information to the attention of the two leaders earlier in the month and an operation was soon ironed out. There just remained one issue.

"We're about to start the operation your Majesty, but we need your final authorization to begin. This is also our last chance to warn the local government of our involvement," said Berchtold.

"There won't be any need for that Commander. Tarton is one of our best specialized groups, and I have confidence that your men will play their part adequately. Director Skorzeny has also informed me that the city government might be involved with L'épée D'or, and as such we shouldn't risk tipping our hand. If everything goes right, no one will even no we were involved. You have my approval commander to proceed commander, is there anything else requiring my attention?"

"No your Majesty, we can handle everything from here."

"Very well. Gentlemen, good night," replied Friedrich. He closed the connection and left the room. Upon entering the ballroom he spied the Grand Duke still talking with his cousin, and in a most relaxed mood. He politely intruded into their conversation and stole the Grand Duke, apologizing profusely to the now irate Victoria. Once alone, he and the Grand Duke began discussing Aldes and the volatility of the many breakaway states. They spoke for the next hour before reaching a mutual common ground, establishing and ensuring peace between the larger 'Successors' as they many had taken to calling them. Adequately satisfied with the conclusion of the discussion, he left the grand duke to his own devices and began to put himself through the same old motions as other noble gatherings, moving through a cadre of different women to feign interest in seeking a bride. He went through several different dance partners through the night, including a particularly fetching brunette, but unfortunately for her he was already claimed by another. Eventually he found the woman he was looking for, sneaking up behind her.

"Enjoying the party, Frau Hannover?" Blonde hair whipped through the air to reveal a smiling face and sapphire blue eyes looking at him. Cecilie von Hannover, a childhood friend, faithful supporter and his lover for the past nine years. And also, his major weakness for his new plans should their relationship be discovered.

"It's been nice so far I guess, but I found your uncle's estate at Hochgraft to be much more inviting. No offense, but I understand why your great-grandfather closed this building off. And look at you! The empress of Razonica gets all the stops pulled out for her, including the old robes, and all I get is some generic designer clothes. Keep this and a girl might start suspecting things," she joked, punching him lightly in the chest. He feigned injury, nursing his chest.

"If that's how you really feel, then I must make it up to you! I shall be your gallant knight, rescuing you from danger and slaying fearsome dragons!" He joked in turned, puffing his chest up. Cecilie hid a laugh behind her hand.

"Quiet you! I think I saw the Elector Palatine a little ways over there. We haven't been caught yet, and I'd like to keep it that way."

"Oh? Well, then I guess I'll be discreet, if only to gain your favor, my lady," Friedrich replied, giving an embellishing bow and offering his hand.

"My favor? So you pick now of all times to be humble? It's a wonder you got anyone to elect you Fredi." She accepted his hand and he led them to the dance floor, beginning a dance as he musicians played a new song. The throng of people gave them enough room to not feel claustrophobic, but was spread out enough to allow the two to converse without fear of eavesdroppers. Still, they remained a respectful distance apart for dance partners. The two became almost indiscernible among the crowd, going through the different formations with a practiced ease, but with a pensive quietness. Cecilie, noticing Friedrich's silence, tried to break him out of it.

"C'mon Fredi, let's not ruin our night by not speaking to each other. I know a few dances from our childhood that should bring back a few memories."

"I wasn't joking when I said I'd slay the dragon, Ceci." Cecilie looked at him in confusion.

"Hmm?"

"I have a plan, Ceci, and soon we won't have to hide anymore. The electors won't be able to threaten us anymore, not with Vorbeck and the Bundesrat," he murmured. Her confusion only grew as he spoke.

"Vorbeck? Bundesrat? What are you talking about Fredi?" He stared at her for a second, a questioning look on his face, before putting on a smile.

"Nothing, Ceci, nothing. I'm just thinking about the future, is all," he reassured her. They continued to dance until it became a few minutes before midnight and Friedrich left her to make an announcement. Climbing the grand staircase and grabbing a glass of wine, he tapped his glass until the room quieted.

"Honored guests and acquaintances, I wish to thank you all for attending this ball on the eve of the New Year, to commemorate the end of a terrible war and to show the united international resolve for peace. In just a minute a new year will be upon us, a new beginning for the world and the world can begin to heal from the wounds of war and move in a new direction, together. Thank you and happy new year!"

As he finished, fireworks were set off from the field in the back of the palace grounds, as well in nearby Aelstun, exploding onto the sky in a plethora of colors. The rest of the guests clapped at the display and the speech as Friedrich moved down the staircase and to retire for the night.

January 1st, 2019
12:00 A.M., Razonican Eastern Time
City-State of Bourdae, 15 miles from the Varumian border

Germaine played with his phone as fireworks went off in the other areas. The Bourdae city government, usually very stringent and stingy with rationing supplies and items once common before the war, had laxed said restrictions in light of the first New Years following the collapse. Families and neighborhoods celebrated in giant parties in homes and in public places, and many a drunk walked the streets, shuffling their way home after a night of drinking. But for Germaine and the seven others in their small house were not celebrating the festivities, instead they were planning and preparing for an important meeting for their organization, L'épée d'or. Well, for Germaine at least, it wasn't correct to call it his organization anymore.

He had joined back in 2017, when the Germerian Duke of Baiern had decided to involve himself in the conflict between the Franurkian people, championed by L'épée d'or, and the Dasia tribe, a nomadic people who have centered on staying in the Franurkian heartlands, an area encompassing the old Vacroyan regime and the current Novo Razconian state. Germaine had wanted foreign powers to stay out of this affair, and even though he disagreed with a large part of what L'épée d'or proposed, he felt it was the only way for him to make a change in the world. But that was before they spread disease to a Germerian city, and killing the duke and making a feud with an international power. And it was definitely before they pulled off their greatest attack yet, attacking several cities in Razonica when they were weakest and causing a chain reaction of rebellions across the empire and bringing down one of the oldest monarchies on the planet.

The organization had steadily become more radicalized and dangerous, and Germaine had grown even more disillusioned with them, but the opportunity for him to leave had yet to arrive. The others stationed with him were hardcore supporters of the new group, and the expansion of L'épée d'or had lead the group to seek out new recruits from local cell locations. The perfect example of the new L'épée d'or soldier was the man seated across from him, Pierre Talleyrand, a man built like a solid brick wall, and with the same amount of intelligence to boot.

Both of them were natural born Razonicans, Pierre from Sorobina in Germerian occupied Razonica and Germaine in Heraclea, now under control of the Razconian state. But whereas Germaine joined to help his Franurkian relations, Pierre joined because of his hatred for the foreign occupiers and the Lussengarde dynasty. He was under the delusion that L'épée d'or was somehow capable of unifying the old empire and beating back not only the different breakaway states as well as Germeria and Nerodanus. Not only that, but Pierre was cruel and sadistic in his behavior during their 'missions', intentionally modifying their bombs and weapons to cause as much pain and torture as possible.

Pierre was fiddling with a makeshift pipe-bomb, more than likely intended for a public building in central Bourdae or one of it's surrounding vassal-cities. Going through the apps on his phone, the sound of screeching tires and car doors slamming could be heard over the cheap radio rock blaring through the house. Germaine had barely enough time to get out of his chair before the front door was knocked open, Bourdae riot police running into the house. Their drab green uniforms contrasted sharply with the dull orange paint of the house as they checked the different rooms. They could see the police entering from their position in the kitchen, and Germaine began to move onto his knees and put his hands behind his head. He wasn't stupid, the Bourdae police weren't known for their kind treatment of even harmless criminals, let alone terorrists of the caliber of L'épée d'or.

Pierre didn't notice him preparing to surrender, too caught up in grabbing a pistol taped to the bottom of the table and flipping the thick mahogany wood as makeshift cover. He fired off three shots blindly just as one of the officers came around the corner, catching the unlucky officer in the leg. He cursed in the Raeh language, and Germaine knew something was awry, but kept himself still for fear of being shot. Another officer pulled the wounded man around the corner and fired five shots into the table. Despite the thickly built material, the rounds went straight through, three of which missed Pierre and the last two catching him in his right leg. Pierre screamed in pain and dropped his pistol, clutching his leg in disbelief.

The officer checked around the corner for anymore attackers, and seeing none moved quickly to the table. Pierre had seen his half-finished pipe-bomb and tried to crawl over to it, but wasn't fast enough as the officer kicked the bomb aside and stomped on his hand, causing another scream of pain from Pierre. More officers poured through into the room and began checking the other rooms for Germaine's compatriots, and an officer in a uniform different form the others came up to him. His was a navy blue, and his face was covered in a balaclava and helmet, whereas the others were visible. Seeing him already in a compliant position, he turned to another officer in a similarly colored uniform.

"Sir, this one's surrendered without a fight. What do we do with him?"

"Knock him out, gently. We'll interrogate him back at the base."

The first officer brought out a rag and doused it with a liquid from one of his pouches, which Germaine suspected was chloroform. The man brought the rag to Germaine's face, and his suspicions were confirmed as he rapidly lost consciousness until at last everything was black.

Report: Varumian-Germerian Joint Operation Michelle
To: RSS Director Oskar Skorzeny, Reichskommissar Otto von Nürnberg, Kaiser Friedrich von Aelstun
Subject: Captive Interrogations
Report Filed By: Special Operations Force Tarton Captain [Classified] 'Tulip' [Classified]
Review: Following the successful execution of Operation Michelle, SOFT and elements from the Varumian ISB under the disguise of local police forces secured and escorted the HVTs suspected of L'épée d'or involvement back to the Varumian border and housed in a Varumian black site run by the ISB, code-named 'Dirlewanger'. Once there, they were transported to the interrogation sector and cordoned off from one another, where various personnel where waiting to interrogate them for information, myself among them. My suspect was Germaine Delacroix, of mixed Raz-Franurkian ancestry and a longstanding member of L'épée d'or by his own admission. It should be noted that Delacroix surrendered of his own volition and offered no resistance both prior to and during arrest. The following is a transcript of the interrogation as recorded by ISB devices in the Dirlewanger facility.
Transcript;

Tulip: I see you're finally awake. Enjoy the nap?
Delacroix: Where am I? Bourdae doesn't have the resources to maintain a facility of this quality.
Tulip: You're an observant one, aren't you? You're in a Varumian black site, completely off the grid and hidden away from the rest of the world.
Delacroix: I see. That explains the man cursing in Raeh. I assume this is about L'épée d'or?
Tulip: Yes.
[Audio disturbance, chair scraping against the floor]
Tulip: Look, this can go two ways. You can come clean to me right now and answer all of my questions, and we can get through this whole escapade with no getting hurt, or you can take the proud route and refuse. In that case I'll have to get rough and...inventive.
[Another disturbance, identified as screams from other chambers. Delacroix shifts and nervousness is evident.]
Tulip: Hear that? That's the sound of man with a car battery hooked up to his balls. Now, I don't have the same skills as some of my colleagues, but in my humble opinion, a knife in the right place can have the same effect as a battery.
Delacroix: That won't be an issue. I am more than willing to answer any questions about L'épée d'or.
[A slight pause.]
Tulip: Really? Forgive me if I doubt your readiness to betray your own comrades.
Delacroix. They're not my comrades. I joined when the Germerian Duke got himself involved with my people's affairs, but I wasn't willing to carry out those disease attacks, or the rebellions. I only wanted to keep foreign powers away from my people.
Tulip: Why didn't you leave then?
Delacroix: L'épée d'or has a long reach and a longer memory. Leaving would ensure the death of myself and my family, especially given the chaotic state of Aldes.
Tulip: Caused by you.
Delacroix: Yes, caused by my group. However, I am willing to help you hunt them, in exchange for protection.
Tulip: And why should I do that, when I can just beat the information out of you?
[More disturbance, Delacroix straightens.]
Delacroix: Because, only I can give you the perfect location and time of Robert N'kamba.
[Another pause.]
Tulip: The Black Lion psychopath? That's the Scot's problem, not-
[Louder disturbance, door opening.]
Riegschuff: Thank you captain, but I think we won't be needing interrogation for this suspect anymore.
Tulip: Riegschuff, I should have known you'd have your claws in this op. The missile case not enough to sate your ego?
Riegschuff: A pleasure to meet you again, Captain. I see time hasn't dulled your temper.
Tulip: Or my skill.
Riegschuff: Quite. Anyway, Mr. Delacroix, I believe we can come to a mutually beneficial agreement over your security, provided you tell us everything you know of N'kamba.
Delacroix: I would happy to tell you about the man, but I have one stipulation.
Riegschuff: Name it.
Delacroix: I want to be involved with the team going after him.
Tulip: That's insane! Surely you can't seriously be considering-
Riegschuff: Quiet captain. That's quite a stipulation to have. Why should I even think of letting a dangerous asset like yourself be involved?
Delacroix: Because our cell has required weekly updates to give to our mother cell, and I'm the only one that knows how to communicate with them. If I don't check in with them by the noon on the second, they'll call off the meeting with N'kamba and he'll go underground. I have training with weapons and I have a grudge against L'épée d'or, and I suspect that you're Germerians, judging from your face and behavior. The captain also gave it away by saying this is a Varumian base, not 'our' base. I know the Germerians have their reasons to go after N'kamba, based on his actions during the war.
[A pause, lasting several seconds]
Riegschuff: Captain, I want you to integrate Delacroix into your team and take Mr. Delacroix's old associate's position in the house. He'll stay with you for the duration of the operation and if you think he'll blow your cover or risk N'kamba getting away, kill him. Understood? [Silence] Am I clear, captain?
Tulip: Crystal, sir.
Riegschuff: Good. Release Mr. Delacroix and get him a bed. I have to message the Scots about this, they'll want to know their number one Tadbuese target is heading to Bourdae.
[Multiple disturbances, chairs shifting and a door opening and closing.]
Tulip: Looks like it's your lucky day son. Welcome to SOFT.

End Transcript.

James had just gotten back from a meeting with Horatio. It had concerned a planned operation in Scain as a precursor to the Commonwealth Invasion. He took of his coat, walked over to his desk, sat down, and started looking through the work terminal. Reports from operations in Novo Razcon, the Arkhon Federation, and Nerodanus. A report from a black site in Plyric, and satellite images of Scain. James kept scrolling through messages when he came to one marked "Urgent". James looked at the transcript sent from the Varumians. He picked up his phone and dialed Horatio's Office, his secretary answered.
"Hello this is the office of Imperial President Horatio Atholl who am I speaking too?"

"This is Director James MacDonaghall of the NSFIA I need to speak to Horatio now." James didn't know if his worried tone or the lack of other meetings prompted the secretary to connect him but nonetheless he heard a click on the other end and Horatio picked up.

"James? What's up?"

"Mr. President I have a report that the Black Lion Terrorist Leader Robert N'kamba will be leaving to Bourdae. I also have a confirmed report that the black lions are working with the L'épée d'or Terror organization."

"L'épée d'or? The same group that launched the viral attacks a couple years back?" Horatio asked.

"Yes sir the same. The Germerians seem to believe that L'épée d'or and the Black Lions are working together." Horatio paused to think this over.

"Is there any evidence of an imminent attack?" Horatio inquired.

"No sir not that I can tell. But I still thi-" Horatio cut him off.

"If we don't have solid evidence of an impending attack then I would rather not launch any operations in Tadbu yet. There's still some tension from the Arkhonian slave deal and the Tadbuese senate is still mostly the White Lions. If we attack the Black Lions with out solid evidence then there's a good chance we'll have another Tadbu secession war."

"Well Sir if that is your decision I would like to ask for permission to organize a rapid response force in the event that an actionable threat does arise."

"Permission granted. Anyway Jack I have to get going I have to meet with a Scainish delegate."

"Alright. Thank you sir." James hung up the phone. He then picked it up and dialed his secretary.

"Tell the Special Operations Department Director to be in my office in half an hour."

"What should I tell him sir?" The secretary asked.

"I need to put together an op in Zone Victor-Charlie-Sierra." James hung up the phone, opened one of his desk drawers, and produced a small dossier simply labeled "Tadbu".

Over the Jungles of Mai, 50 miles East of Viobo, Tadbu
March 5th, 2019

Special Agent Dewan Harris had been in the Army ever since he was 18. He started in the infantry but went on to train in the Air Assault Squadron. After he completed his training he was offered a spot in the special forces group Sgadan Fulangach which he happily accepted. He served with distinction during the Razonican war. When he was discharged the NSFIA moved to pick him up. Now they had put him in charge on a mission to capture some Black Lion Lieutenant, D'donga Sumhali, the man supposedly responsible for orchestrating the March 3rd attack. Their squad had one mission: infiltrate the compound Sumhali was holed up in, capture him, and extract. The flight from the Viobo Airbase took almost an hour before they reached the drop zone. The helicopter touched down and the squad disembarked. Harris moved to brief the squad.

"Alright listen up!" Harris paused. "New intel came down on our target. Asset Sierra-Lima has left his compound. We are to intercept the asset while he is en-route to a known Black Lion safe house. We are to avoid killing the asset if remotely possible. Once we have the asset we will set him for sky-hook evac and we will proceed to our exfil site." Harris stopped for questions. There were none. "Good now we have to set up an ambush at a bridge 5 klicks from here. We have 3 hours before the asset is suspected to cross the bridge. Move out!" Harris and his men readied their weapons and began their trek.

The squad made good time through the sweltering Tadbuese Jungle. They had arrived at the bridge in a little under an hour. Harris again turned to address his men.

"I want two groups of four men on either side of the west end of the bridge. Two men will wait 200 yards up around the road's bend to warn us of oncoming vehicles. They will paint them with the IR beacons. The last two men will take up posts on either side of the east end of the bridge with." Harris turned to his squad's sapper. "Place C4 under the bridge then wait on the east side for my signal. Once the Scouts signal the asset's arrival they will move back to aid in the capture." Harris nodded at the Machine gunner. "Wait on the east side. If the trucks don't stop once we blow the bridge I want you to take out their engine. I will join the rest of us in the ambush."

Harris's men moved to get into position, then they waited. The wait was always the worst part for Harris. Sitting there in the dark and heat of the jungle. Waiting for a convoy of who knows how many? But he had orders and would follow them despite his qualms about the mission.

Harris counted waiting for two hours and 23 minutes before his radio crackled.

"Delta 1-1 this is Delta 1-4 asset confirmed en route. Three targets, all painted." Harris signaled to his men to be ready. They saw headlights come up from around the bend. The sapper produced the detonator for the C4. Harris got on his radio to confirm his orders.

"Delta 1-9 I will flash by IR at the windshield of the first vehicle. Once you see it blow the bridge." The trucks closed in. 300 meters... 200 meters... 100... 50. Harris flashed the first truck with his spotting beacon. A loud bang and a bright flash came from behind him followed by the crashing of concrete into the river below. The first truck didn't have time to come to a full stop and rolled partially into the shallow river below. Harris shouted over the radio. "Go! Check your fire!" The machine gun fired a burst into the first truck. Harris moved to the second truck. He saw a figure in the drivers seat flashed his light at the man then fired off two rounds into his chest. Harris could hear gunfire in the second truck along with shouting in Tadbuese.

"Cease fire! Cease fire! They surrender!" Harris opened the rear door in the truck and flashed his light at the man. It was their target. But in the seat next to them sat a child. A young girl. Terrified to be there. Harris swore under his breath. "Shit! They didn't say his fucking kids would be here!" She couldn't have been older than 10. Harris assumed she was his daughter. He had to remind himself that orders were orders. He motioned for them to get out. He then called for his sapper. "Cuff the prisoner and take the men to the exfil I'll catch up." The sapper nodded and proceeded. Harris waited a while for the men to get farther out. He looked at the little girl. "Wait here." Harris walked over to the other members of the convoy who surrendered. They were lying on the ground with their hands fastened together behind their backs. Harris took out his pistol and proceeded to shoot the prisoners. Harris walked back to the girl in the car now sobbing quietly.

"Was the man in here your daddy?" He asked. The girl continued to sob barely able to nod. "Where's your mommy?" The girl shook her head. Harris sat down next to her and attempted to comfort her. He sat there for what seemed like forever. Finally he looked down at her and spoke.

"Do you want to go home?" She nodded timidly. "Ok I'll go with you." She grabbed his hand and led the way. Once they got around the bend in the road he took out his pistol and shot her in the back of the head. Harris holstered his pistol and began to move to the exfil site. He fought to hold himself together. He tried to remind himself that it was revenge. That didn't make him feel better.

D'donga Sumhali had just come too. Where was he? What time was it? What happened? Why couldn't he move? He tried to stay calm. "Thing D'donga, think!" His mind was starting to clear. "Ok I was ambushed. There was an explosion, gunshots, a man yelling at him to get out. Who were they? Scots probably. Special forces, mercenaries, NSFIA, or something else? Probably Special forces considering their gear." He paused again. "What else?" he thought to himself. "M'kasa! Where the fuck is she!" He tried to move but he couldn't. He heard a door open. Slow footsteps toward him. They stopped right in front of him. He heard a deep voice speak out.

"D'donga Sumhali. Lieutenant to Robert N'kamba and member of the Black Lions? I'm sure you have some questions? Specifically as to why you're here, why you can't move, who I am, and what of your daughter?" The man paused. "That first question answers itself. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. As to why you can't move just thank the field of medicine for that. It's a nice cocktail of paralytic administered intravenously. Your daughter is also fine so don't worry about her. But as to who I am let me ask you a question: Have you heard of the Scainish Religion? It's been on the news recently. In a nutshell there is an all powerful sea-god named Sal who protects sailors as long as sacrifices are made. Back to who I am, call me Sal. Just like the Scainish deity I can either protect you or make things rather... Painful. Now as for my sacrifice I like to wait a bit. You gotta buy me dinner first." Sal laughed.

"Anyway let me start the dinner and entertainment." D'donga could feel a pressure on his left arm but then it stopped. He heard footsteps and the door open and close. Then he heard a voice. It was a womans voice. He could only barely make it out at first. It faded in getting louder so he could make out what it was saying.

"Tadbu. Black. Lions. Tadbu. Robert. N'Kamba. Tadbu." The voice was repeating. As the voice faded out back out again he could feel himself lift into the air...

Captian McKlusky was in charge of the 202nd Air Cav company. He had been given orders last night to have his men get ready for "extended operations". They were all also given a ration of whiskey. So McKlusky knew they would be getting into some shit. At half past 8 the division commander, Major General Elesea, personally briefed the company.

"Brave men of the 202nd Air Cav! I would like to congratulate you on your luck. Our Commander and Chief has seen it fit to finally deal with the Tadbuese scum the right way. We are the solution to the problem. You men specifically will be the first Scottish soldiers to start the fun. Your goal is to neutralize a encampment of Black Lions in the North Mai Jungle here in scenic and shitty Tadbu." He paused for dramatic effect. "You boys will neutralize any overwhelming resistance from the air. Once that is complete you will deploy your ground assets and move to mop up any remaining resistance. Once that is done you can exfil and the boys in the 501st infantry will move in and start setting up a FOB. Congratulations boys! I'll see you all on the other side." McKlusky and his company ran back to finish final checks. McKlusky knew that things were going to get fun.

Novo Razcon City
March 7th 2019, around 5:00 PM
An abandoned building

An ominous figure stood in the shadows. If one were to see him, he/she would describe him as a strapping man over 2 meters high, murky brown eyes, a chiseled face, and a tangled name of pitch-black hair. At the moment, he was doing a final check over his plans for Novo Razcon City, capital city of the Empire of Novo Razcon. The worn door behind him opened, a few chunks of wood falling to the floor. Another man, smaller and meeker, came into the room, his entry declared by the creaks of the wooden floorboards.

"S-sir, are y-you s-sure about t-this attack?" The smaller of two men asked, terror evident within his stuttering.

"Of course I am!" The proverbial alpha male barked in response, "I have been waiting to show that… pathetic COWARD I call a brother why his "great revolution" was a mistake for several months, and with the Scainish crisis, now is the perfect time to do exactly that!"

"But, sir, I think the lesson that the international community, including your brother, the Supreme Leader, had learned over the past few months is that you can't just rape and pillage every other country as you please." The underling attempted to reason with his boss.

"I guarantee you, I can and will, and no "Elvaryan Commonwealth" will stop me from reforming the Razonican Empire by force! Now, I have an attack to green-light. The plan I have devised is perfect and cannot be questioned, especially not by idiots like you!" After a hefty dose of megalomania, he took out a small radio and flipped the switch into the "on" position, a motion accompanied by the scratchy sound of radio feedback.

"You have my authority. Forces of Laerolk, ATTACK! WREAK HAVOC UPON THE REIGN OF MY FOOL OF A BROTHER, AND SHOW HIM THAT LAEROLK SHALL BE VINDICATED! OUR HOLY RACE AND THE EVER-PARENTS THE IDIOT HAS SQUANDERED SHALL PREVAIL!" He roared into the radio with the passion of a man eager to bring down an empire and replace it with his own.

15 miles outside Aeon

Liam "Silent" Forstrum is waiting in a small dirty looking town, 15 miles outside Aeon awaiting for a particular person to show up. He arrived in the town about an hour ago, after he received a encrypted message from a friend who promised that he'll be there when he would arrive. That's been an hour since, and Liam is starting to lose his patience but he calmed down when a nice black car pulls up with a man inside.

"Hey, sorry that I left you in this dry, dirty air here. I would've been here sooner if it wasn't for my Godmother dealing with a crap of a grandson" the man says as Liam gets in the car. Liam buckles in and changes the radio volumes, it was a bit loud for his liking.

"Lewis, I really wish that you would've been faster since we do have limited time on our job, that truck might just leave Aeon soon" Liam says as he waves his hand to the right to signal other car that's with them.

"So, besides the truck, is there anything else we need to deal with, because you realize we are going into occupied territory that is controlled by Plyricans, who might just give us trouble" Lewis says as he begins to rive out of the dirty little town.

"Leave them to me, I have papers for our entry into the city, but after that they might think of us as the rebel or something of that sort if we act suspicious. The truck is leaving to the border, and if we can't get there before it does, we lose all of the heroine that it's transporting over the border and that's something you and I can't let happen, or we'll be dead by the next week" Liam says as he pulls his gun out and checks the clip.

"Yo, you need to put that away, I hear gunfire, I think the Claudians are attacking a nearby Plyrican patrol. Ever since the Plyricans lost some ground outside of their borders, the Claudians has been advancing on the occupied territory and might just bring the war back to a stalemate" Lewis says as he drives a bit faster, in hope to avoid the skirmish going on nearby.

"Just get us to the damn city and we'll be fine, as long as, we don't screw things up and that we get a hold of the truck before it leaves and once we get a hold of the truck, we'll split the goods" Liam says as he puts away his gun. The vehicle speeds down the back-roads towards Aeon while the other vehicle follows behind.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An forested area 13 miles outside of Aeon

A group of Claudians has begun an battle against a Plyrican patrol in the forest. The Claudians with about a good 125 men against the Plyrican patrol which has about 40 mean but two BTRs and four armored cars. Commander Thumas is trying to help another general out by attacking the nearby patrols, while the main bulk of the forces can go and reclaim Aeon from the Plyricans, however it's been a challenge for Thumas since most patrols he had come across had been mainly armored vehicles and that his soldiers has been running low on anti-vehicle ammunition.

"Sir, the BTR on the left side of the field has fallen but the men around it are still standing and is returning fire" A Soldier says as he fires into the forest.

"Don't worry about the vehicles, use the trees as cover as you advance forwards the enemies, but also don't forget to reload you RPGs, since there is still another BTR, the cars can be easily destroyed, but we do need to conserve our ammunition or we may need to fall back to recover and I can't let Kalian down." Thumas says as he advances forward with a squad of soldiers.

Screams and explosion can be heard after most of the grenades and RPGs had fired for a second time. Thumas and his squad of soldiers took cover behind large rocks, one of the soldiers had been shot in the shoulder and is crying in pain.

"Sir, I don't want to die, do we have a medic with us?" the shot soldiers screams. Thumas rolls his eyes and yells over for a medic. The medic runs across the area towards the squad.

"I'll patch him up, if you wish to advance, go right ahead, the others said that the other BTR is down and that the patrol is now in retreat towards Aeon as we speak" The medic says as he begins to patch up the soldier who still as not stop crying.

"That was not what I'd expected from them, I guess we should keep some pressure on them while they go towards the city" Thumas says as he tells the other squads on the radio to stay on the advance.

The war was changing as Thumas had hoped, but it's long from being over and that He fears that the other changes might not suit their side for the coming battles, in which case, Thumas isn't eager to give up yet nor does Claudio want to give up on their independence.

All of a sudden a man appeared out of nowhere, his name was Horatio Nelson. He claimed to be a Scainish Captain and so a bunch of hypocriets decided he should be the king of Scain. Horatio was a idiot who was picked because he would do nothing but agree with everyone else. And so he was quickly coronated because he did not deserve anything good. The people hated him because he seemed like a back-stabbing fuck who didnt really care about what the people wanted.

King Horatio the Fuck was a former Scainish admiral who was against piracy because he was actually a woman, he has a level head and suddenly was experienced in naval warfare one day. He claims that he traveled around the globe and studied in various naval institutions as a cadet. He dislikes the true royal family the Rully dynasty because he is a unloyal piece of shit. Was one of the first Scainish personnel to surrender to Commonwealth forces because he is not a man and instead went to them sucking his tumb. And he gets to be the knew king.

Nuclear Disaster

Postby Jord » Tue Mar 27, 2018 9:36 pm

Palace Council Room

"The people want answers," Corvus said.

"And what are we suppose to tell them, that it was all an accident over and over again till the accept it?" Leman demanded.

"They're going to protest in our streets, and might just riot, we cannot have this happen!" Dorn said.

"People people please, we need to calm down," High Priestess Astrid voiced to the crowd.

The general looked like he wanted to argue with the priestess, however, the Queen held up her hand, demanding that Dorn hold his words for a later date, causing him to sit silently in his seat and let her speak.

"Gentlemen, I understand this is a tense situation, however, this is no time for arguing," She said.

"Forgive me your majesty, but what are we suppose to do, none of us can come up with a proper answer, and the people may riot if we don't give them something," Minister Hugo said.

"Then perhaps it's time for another opinion."

After she said those words, a servant came in and announced that the two 'visitors' had arrived, and soon 2 men came in, each wearing a suit and lab coat and looking to be in their late 40's.

"Gentlemen, may I introduce Dr Eli and Dr Jonson," Freyja introduced as the two men walked into the room."

"Thank you, Your Majesty," Dr Eli said, "As you know I am Dr Eli, and I'm with the team of Ecologists working with Dr Jonson and his team of Nuclear physicists to try and figure out the problem with what to do with the new Zone."

"Yes, as it stands The Zone will be unsafe for anyone to go into if that wasn't obvious and will have to be quarantined immediately. Anyone who goes in has a high chance of developing cancer, something we would rather not have since we have thousands of civilians and other personnel now diagnosed from this incident," Dr Jonson added

"How long will the surrounding area be like this, Doctor?" Dorn asked, "How long until it's safe to go into this Zone?"

"Over 20,000 years, sir, and until then it will be unsafe for anyone to travel within the Zone."

"Was there anything of value inside The Zone? Is there anything we should be worried about?" Freyja asked.

"Other than what the Civilians left in their homes when evacuating, there is nothing for us to worry about inside The Zone. A few animals may get mutated, but nothing serious like in fiction, if anything they would just die out and the place would remain an empty wasteland," Dr Eli explained.

"Still there are a few problems I would like to propose," Dr Jonson spoke up, "The public is demanding answers that much is clear, as to why this happened and are wondering what we're supposed to do about it."

"We have already explained to the public all we could from what we were told. They know of this accident and we gave everything we could to them, what more is there?" Leman asked.

"A change," Freyja answered, "It's clear the public is demanding more from the government to try and make amends somehow. It's clear some are asking for the complete shutdown of our power plants all throughout the country."

"But what are we going to do then?" Dorn asked, "Without nuclear power, what more do we have to power our homes and basic needs?"

"Perhaps it's time to look into an alternative solution," Dr Eli suggested.

A short update

Coalition Occupied Scain, Cras Island

The island had been calm since Scanish forces surrendered. Occasionally sporadic fighting broke out between guerrilla fighters and Coalition troops of Jord and Nerodanus. However despite these few attacks the general mood was quiet. At least until King Horatio was picked by the Coalition to be the next ruler due to no proper heirs from the former King. Small protests and a few riots filled the streets. It took the Coalition Forces some time to calm them down, and several arrests were made. Ultimately peace returned to the Capital once again.

In the mean time since then, Coalition forces had been busy rebuilding the Island. Nerodanus shipped in supplies for the Scanish farmers and equipment to repair the insufficient water systems and power stations of the Island. The goal will be to bring power and water to the whole of the island, not just the Capital and several outlying areas. Reconstruction itself would fall to Scanish companies in the area, funded by Nerodanus. Neroian police forces would also be present to ensure no harm comes to the infrastructure while it is being placed.

Plyric, Front Lines in the war against Claudiopolis

Neroian forces had been fighting against Claudians since the fighting first broke out. However it was only in assistance to Plyric. Basic Guerrilla Warfare and sabotage, along with some bombings and air support. Their mission was to ensure that the Plyric forces would not be pushed back or defeated in any battle, but the focus on Scain put the soldiers into a position of needing to work with what they had, rather than be able to acquire new materials from the Motherland.

Supply train destruction, Convoy's damaged while traversing the mountains due to rock slides, bombing out enemy encampments. Their jobs were small compared to the larger conflict going on, but the impact was capable of turning the tides of battle. Tanks captured from Plyrican forces were destroyed before they had a chance to be used. Most, anyway. However supplies for the Neroian forces were running low, and the next shipment wasn't due for another week. Most of the bombing missions have been regulated to larger missions or HVTs to preserve fuel until the supply ship arrives. The war was starting to drag on, not much movement having been occurring in the past few weeks during the ongoing fighting, but come next season it is hoped Plyric will be able to gain steam and forward a push towards Claudiopolis, and stamp them out.

Occupied war-zone of Aeon

The siege of Aeon has been going on for about a week now, the Claudians managed to breach the outer most defenses, however the siege started to lose traction after the Claudians has stop gaining ground in Aeon. It night in Aeon, the sounds of artillery is heard in the distance and several bouts of gunfire is also heard. Most lights on the street are off since the power grid as been knocked out for about most of the siege, only the hospital has power, but everywhere else has little or no power. Jana, a student of the Aeon High School, is seen walking around the area being close to a military camp. Jana is apart of a resistance movement, who has been helping with the siege, however since a good portion of her friends has been captured yesterday, most of the camps are on high alert. In the distance she sees the patrol coming towards her, she quickly runs into an alleyway and hides behind a dumpster as the patrol walks by, hearing them speaking Plyrish.

"When is this siege going to be over? I kinda want to return home to my mother, she hasn't been well lately." Patrolman on the left said as they stop and takes a break besides the alleyway.

"Marcus, you need to calm down, this war will be over soon and I'm sure you'll be able to go back to your mother" The Patrolman who's leaning on the wall next to the dumpster.

"Lars, I can't calm down, when I left for this war, she was just diagnosed with brain cancer and she hasn't been sending me letters like she promised me" Marcus says as he sits down and pulls a cig out of his pocket.

Jana waits quietly behind the dumpster as the patrolmen talk about there problems, she decided it was time to slowly walk away from the patrol, but as she think a good time to move, a explosion is heard and the patrolmen quickly jump up and begins to run from the explosions. Jana then hears a familiar sounds of Claudian cheering as the patrolmen runs away.

"Should we fire upon them sir? They seem like they had not surrendered yet!" A soldiers says as he aims his rifle towards them.

"Wait! Don't shoot them, leave them be, they haven't done much besides being apart of the military for Plyric" Jana yells as she jumps the corner. The platoon that was about to open fire puts down there weapon as the CO yells a command

"Young lady, do you have a reason why you are out here in the middle of the war zone, you can realize that they may have raped or even killed you for being close to them in the first place. You have some explaining to do, and while at that, you'll have to tell me if you are Plyrican or Claudian, because that can mean a difference in the coming answer." The CO yells from the jeep that he is on.

"I live here in Aeon, before it was occupied, and I'm a Claudian by heart." Jana says to the CO. The CO looks at her and gets off the jeep and walk toward with an soldier st his side.

"By Kalian orders, all civilians in the war-zone must be restrained and question regardless of nationality, but we do reserve the right to execute anyone who can appear suspicious. But I do trust, however if you do betray that trust, I won't hesitate to kill you." The CO says as the soldier grabs Jana by the arm and drags her over to the jeep.

The remaining platoon begins to march back the way they came from, they seems very delighted that Aeon recapture is going well, but they do feel that they can do better than they did. A lot of lives has been lost, but most of Aeon has finally come under the Control of Claudio once again. Jana hopes that the two patrolmen are safe, but there can't be a good sign since not most Plyrican will just keep running, they usually keep fighting till they die. But it may seem that the siege of Aeon is coming to a close and might show the war has changed in a way. But to most people, what' going to happen soon, might change the fate of the war and a rise of families might just create more unrest that the two countries might not even handle if they keep up with the war.
