After decades of increasing tensions, the Cybertronian Empire and the Imperial Federation - long-standing rivals - have gone to war with one another. What was initially a border dispute over the recently-conquered Cybertronian colony of Animatros had escalated, enveloping their allies in a stellar-spanning war. Both empires seek to conquer the other faction and their territory, while a new faction - The Liberators - has arose in an attempt to liberate both factions and put in place democracies in all of their colonies.
So, these are the factions currently participating in the war: The Cybertronian Empire, The Imperial Federation, The Liberators, and those who are simply Neutral in the conflict.
While the Cybertronian Empire and the Imperial Federation seek to conquer the other faction(s) for their own ambitions - using white lies to manipulate others into allying with them - the Liberators are a conclave of nations of whom, on paper, are unified in the pursuit for democracy, and the Neutrals are exactly what their name implies: nations of whom are alone in the conflict. However, the nations themselves have their own ambitions, and those ambitions could potentially make or break an alliance.
RULES:
1. No flaming in the OOC thread; the IC thread, however, is fair game. Likewise, follow the NS rules.
2. No Godmodding, no Metagaming, no Autohitting, etc.
3. As OP, my word is law. As such, if you break any of the rules, I will first warn you; repeated offences will get you kicked. Likewise, the word of the CO-OP(s) is highly-respected.
4. If you are not an FT nation, then I would suggest that you ally with the larger powers and try to gain access to their technology. If you want to, that is. Perhaps you could manipulate the larger powers to your advantage?
5. Use common sense when you plot out strategies to attack your opponents' locations or fortresses, please; if you think that you will be easily defeated there, then think of another strategy until you find the one you think is the best option.
ADDENDUM 1: If you are a multiverse-level nation, you will receive extra scrutiny because of the large disparity between the multiversal nation and the many interstellar nations participating in this RP. As such, as of this point forwards, if you are a multiversal nation, I will place your application in limbo until you and I have discussed it [the RP] together. This does not mean it's denied, it just means that I need to see how many troops you intend to send.
ADDENDUM 2: Please have a minimum of two paragraphs before you post. Explain where you are, give us some character interaction, and where you are moving to and from; it makes for a more cohesive and interesting story.
