Kingdom of Yemen is Born

Yemen is now the Kingdom of Yemen after King Mutasim al-Abdella, was elected king for life by a popular vote of the people, and the Prime ministers position was reduced in importance by changes to the constitution swapping the King and the Prime ministers roles to an extent.
Its seems to anyone that the public could not be more happy. While this turn of events had made SMS suspicious SMS investigators could not find any tampering with the voting computer they had installed and so have not interfered in the events.
Likewise the regions following demand for independence was also granted with SMS also granting Yemen control of the OMan region after removing its king and prime minister from power following Oman total lack of commitment to assist allies
during the Yemen civil war.
SMS will however be retaining the Saudi Corporate Sector as a protectorate since 90% of its population is employed by the SMS subsidiary Global Foods and the rest is employed by SMS or one of its affiliates. the SCS however did receive a flag change.and is fully expected to be adopting the Corporate Harmony style government.

VP Mayra Scott visits Malikay on world tour

Vice President Mayra Scott has arrived at her first stop on her world tour to meet with the President David Tolokonski of Malikay in Vladivostok. She boarded the Welteinheitsbahn in Alaska and crossed over the Bering Strait on the world-famous bridge.

The visit to Malikay comes with controversy, as Malikay has recently joined the Triumvirate pact. The Triumvirate, which has stated that world powers such as the NGU intend to "subjugate others to their ideologies", has been condemned by President David Powell.

However, discussion of this pact was avoided in Malikay. Vice President Scott discussed trade with President Tolokonski, specifically how the two nations can expand the Welteinheitsbahn project to better connect Asia to America. The two also discussed the deep ties between the two nations and their intentions to remain friendly neighbours.

Vice President Scott will be visiting the Confederation of McFreedomstan in Shanghai next. She will be meeting with Wang Peng, Director of Exxon.

Many conflicts with the English, soon bleed out as the Republic of Langstadt was growing as a trading nation, the Brookshireanse were determined not to be beaten by the Anglo-Saxons again, they build massive fortifcations along the Southern Border, and waited, and waited until the English in 1254, they told the English to tearn back or face certain death, the English laughed and kept attacking, the Brookshireanse made good on their promise, they rained poisin tipped arrows, lit on fire, and ruined the English Army, after proving they were dominant, on the Isles, and marched on Newcastle, the Brookshireanse, let the English living there stay, on the condition they accept Langstadt rule them, they eventually merged into Brookshireanse culture and the city was renamed Castillo. Over time the Langstadtic (Brookshireanse) began to push further into England, the Scots, having a mutual hatred for England, merged and formed the Union of Scotland and Langstadt, the Queen of Langstadt, inherited the crown of Scotland, in 1432.

In 1934, the English Broke away, along with Cornwall, (whom were forced to leave by the English Rebels) became the Kingdom of England, tried to compete with The Union of Britain, who still has been holding onto the Homeland in Westphalia/Netherlands, untill in 1967, the Kingdom fell, and they were happily welcomed back into the Union. Lately, the English have been holding rallies in London, which was a propserious trade city from the 1700s to the 1930s, but fell when England broke away, unable to support a national government in it, Brookshireanse Genocide was the mass slaughter during the 700s-900s in Europe, something Brookshireanse have not forgotten, (As seen during the Reconqistika) The "English Pride" Rallies, have been known to get violent, and calling for a second Brookshireanse Genocide, since the 1990s, they have only gained recent attention, considering the Historic Liberaterian attitude of the Union, after they assisanated the English Prime Minister (Each Nation within the UoB gets a minister and a certain number of Seats in Congress based on population), the reason they did this was, he was 1/16th Brookshireanse, and even opposed Langstadtic and Scottain coming and settling the Rural areas of England. Tensions have grown between the Anglos and basically everyone else in the Union.

Introducing Competition into Private Education

As our main schools are being auctioned off to the highest bidder, my Administration has pointed out to me that the majority of schools that have been sold are all going towards the same company, Shrout Corp. Now, I am more than pleased to see the Shrout Corporation taking interest in our education system, but the intended outcome with privatization of our schools was to create competition, and to offer choices to all families. If all our high schools are Shrout Corp high schools, the intention of competition is lost.

After long deliberation with my Cabinet, we have decided on a solution to the current problem within Panjali education, within an Executive Order. I have taken the liberty of summarizing the Order myself here:

-Private education companies must be for-profit.
-Public school boards will now retain some control over private institutions, serving as overseers within their districts, to ensure fair and plentiful education options for their children.
-The Shrout Corporation has been limited to one school per district. Other competitors will be restricted at the discretion of the district school boards.
-Shrout Corporation schools will be relocated to fit one per district.
-Remaining schools which are to be sold or auctioned may not be purchased by the Shrout Corporation.
-We will be providing the Shrout Corporation a $2.5 million dollar compensation for their troubles and our bureaucratic shortcomings.

I am also glad to say that along with all these changes, more international education companies have already decided to open schools in Panjal, including multiple Standevian companies, Exxon, AMD, the Ubizytotskan Board of Imperial Education, the Ubizytotskan Doctrination Institution, and the College of Kazakhstan. Many Panjali companies have also decided to open schools as well, including Bort N' Snort, Kushab School of Engineering, the Sol Initiative, and many others.

I sincerely hope these changes provide the best possible education for all Panjali children.

VP Mayra Scott stops in McFreedomstan and Panjal

Vice President Mayra Scott continues her tour across the world to meet with leaders in McFreedomstan and Panjal. The Vice President spent plenty of time in both countries organizing several possible deals that would utilize the Welteinheitsbahn.

After departing from Malikay, she arrived in Shanghai to meet with Wang Peng, the Director of Exxon. While in the Confederacy of McFreedomstan, the two talked about the war with Alorn, abolition of absolute monarchies in America, and an oil trade that would utilize the pipeline built into the Welteinheitsbahn. After spending a few days talking with the other faction leaders, VP Scott boarded her jet and flew off to Panjal.

While in Panjal, the Vice President met with President Morgan Cane to talk about re-establishing the oil trade that fell apart half a decade earlier. The two also discussed the Welteinheitsbahn as well to transport oil. However, no final oil deal was reached with other country.

Vice President Scott will be stopping in Africa and South America before returning home.

The SMS board of Directors has decided unanimously that since the Panjal government wishes to take special action and alter the terms and conditions of how the schools they sold us
are run and unfairly block us from additional purchases we will take action.

SMS demands that all investments paid to Panjal for schools be returned as a breach of contract has taken place since the terms of contract have been changed without our consent to what we can do with the properties.
SMS will be suing the Panjal Government for making us noncompetitive by limiting us to one school per district but not placing this restriction on others this is gross favoritism at best and a direct attack on the company at worst.
Until further notice Global foods is to shut down in Panjal and relocate to the Saudi Corporate Sector. Global foods properties in Panjal will be vacated and remain unused or further action will follow.
Purchased schools will remain closed or again further action will be taken.
The Qatar Financial Authority will not honor any payments to Panjal by any nations using the Danarii currency.
Above restrictions will be lifted if bellow complaints are satisfactory addressed.

Specific Complaints
At the time of the purchases no limit's on property purchases were stated or written in any form available to SMS
During the sales no information written or spoken was available that stated that the school board would have control over purchased schools.
The only Statement about the Schools during purchase was that the schools must teach the students no other information was given even when asked.
Specific legislation against SMS is clearl indicative of an attack on the corporations finances for no reason at all
2.5 million douse not come close to covering our losses in man hours from suddenly cutting a 4 billion Danarii project nor the remodeling costs of the schools purchased
The current leader of Panjal has personally attacked our company while pretending its was no big deal that he has specifically cut just us off from public projects advertised as available to anyone wishing to sell.
We did nothing wrong and are for some reason being punished for it (unless investing in the Panjal market and creating jobs for the Panjal people is something wrong.)

We encourage other companies and nations to boycott this nation and its administration.

CEO Jason Shrout Sends a personal gift to Premier Morgan Cane
a custom limousine with livery exclaiming Morgan Cane is a poop face.
Likewise the Former Global Foods buildings and all properties have likewise been repainted in this livery.

this is also accompanied by an apology letter from the SMS board. explaining that it has become the new SMS policy that all products sold to Panjal from this point on be painted as such.
they also state that they managed to convince the CEO to do this rather than spend 3 billion hiring Mcfreedomstan mercenaries to invade and force the premere to wear a dunce hat.
Likewise Global Foods will be withdrawing as stated, and all schools will be sold at profit to the company.
Global Foods facilities can be purchased by Panjal at the amount that was spent on them otherwise Global Foods will dismantal equipment and leave the country after transferring the usable equipment to the Saudi Corporate Sector, or selling it to Yemen.

No long will the rest of the world view us a some minor backwards nation living in the shadow of, first the Saudis and now SMS. No! We will make a society so prosperous, so well maintained that they will all look at us in envy. We are Yemeni and we are proud!"

The details for this deal is a 15 billion Danarii yearly contract focusing predominately on infrastructure upgrade and maintenance, including civic structures like schools, parks and government offices. Around 10% of that is earmarked for military modernization, and of course his Majesty added the option for renegotiation yearly.

We have also received report that Prince Faadi al-Abdella his wife and his children 6 year old daughter Noura and 4 year old son Omar are planning a visit to the SMS corporate HQ to strengthen ties between our two people.

NOMICONIA TO PUT ALL EFFORT INTO INDUSTRIALIZATION

As of yesterday, Leader Nazariy Shwetz of Nomiconia has come out into, a rare occasion on his behalf, to announce something that will change Nomiconia forever. Presenting a speech, Mr.Shwetz surprised the public when he told them his plan."We, the people of Nomiconia, are doubted." He said as the stood up on the balcony of the Nomiconia Parliment. "For our whole history, we have never spoken of changing our economy, improving our production, making us a world power. We have always relied on agriculture, and an economy that only lets us obtain bare necessities and nothing more. But we, the great people of Nomiconia, can change that! No longer will we have to be slaves reliant on the production of simple food! We can grow! We can prosper! I present to you Industrial Nomiconia Plan!" After this announcement a map showing the plan was displayed as the crowd cheered and displayed confusion.

The current plans for Industrialization-Each dot represents 100 km²

What was once beautiful coastline in the "Moldova" and "Odessa" in Nomiconia will now be converted into industry and factories ready for shipping. Further plans include building a rail extending into areas in Nomiconia unsuitable for farming and industrializing there. The leader also stated selling a large share of the goods to other countries for raw materials lacking in Nomiconia.

Rahabajan Dockyard
Panjali Government News

Today marks the official beginning of construction on Rahabajan dockyard and port. Rahabajan was planned and designed by the Maritime Trade Committee of the State Assembly, and legislation to begin construction on the port was passed this last week. The contract for Junput was bought by Jaypee Construction Group, whose CEO promised in his speech last week to "build a dock which dwarfs Karachi." The project is projected to take over a year and a half, but Jaypee claims to only need a year.

Construction Crews begin laying foundation for the project.

Premier Morgan Cane expressed doubts over the optimism of Jaypee Construction's plans during the signing of the bill, and requested the company take their time to ensure the dock to be safe for decades.

The project does not come with a cheap price tag, either. A budget increase for the Navy has been approved to handle the price.

After a year of fighting, plans to build a new environmentally friendly structure in Kyoto, dubbed the Gate, has been given the green light to be built. An apartment, retail, and office complex with an abundance of greenery will be built in Kyoto with construction starting in May of 2034 and expected to be complete in 2039. Designed by Iiketu (E-key-tuh) Architectures, the complex will feature nine cylindrical structures covered in plants, which the designers call "mega-trees."



The Gate, a 4.8-million-square-foot complex, will consist of eight buildings which will intertwine to form the complex. The top floors will be connected by pedestrian bridges, and offer playgrounds and small gardens growing fruit and vegetables. An infinity swimming pool will also be located in the building.



The Gate will include three floors of office space, a three-story shopping mall with four underground levels for parking and 1,000 "smart" apartments. Each residence will come equipped with motion sensors that adjust temperature and lighting when residents are home. The interior will feature nine "mega-trees": cylindrical living walls that will help provide natural ventilation and consume carbon dioxide. The buildings will be partially powered by solar and wind. Iiketu Architectures plans for this to be the first of many environmentally friendly structures to be built around the country.




Yurikiya also held discussions with Ubizytotska, Standevia, and Calwain, which lead to each nation signing an Extradition Treaty with Yurikiya. The hope is that these treaties will lead to better relations and cooperation between Yurikiya and other nations. Until now, if a criminal fled Yurikiya and found themselves in any of these nations, there was little that could be done. Now the criminal can be sent back to Yurikiya to stand trial. The same can be said backwards as Yurikiya has pledged that it will uphold the treaty and send criminals from any of these nations back to stand trial for their crimes.

Senate passes the "Alorn Integration Act"
The Senate voted today to pass the "Alorn Integration Act of 2033" with a 410 to 90 vote.

The AIA gives the union government the ability to quickly make decisions regarding the cultural and political integration of Alornian territory, which President Powell has expressed interest in annexing directly. The bill limits the government from restricting cultural expression in Alornian territories, such as minority language use or television shows. However, a provision in the bill gives the Ministry of Culture the ability to rename municipalities in order to "remove references to the Alornian imperial government." The main provision, and perhaps the most controversial, is the ability of the executive office to impose direct rule over the annexed territories for at most 2 years.

Many pundits are considering the bill to be simply symbolic, as the war in Alorn still blazes on with no ending in sight. However, other pundits say that the legislation will pave a way for the Nationalist Gold Union to annex Alornian territory with ease.

The MION (Movement for the Independence of Oppressed Nations), which is part of President Powell's grand coalition, was persuaded to vote for the bill, although many of the stated parts of the bill contradict the political alliance's manifesto. Movement leader Phil Reagan stated that "voting on this bill has opened many more possibilities for autonomy in [the western half of the NGU]," implying that the grand coalition will be forced to vote on autonomy referendums or lose the MION support.
