Mokastana wrote:"That is just perfect, and thank you... Mio is it? for the alcohol."

William Flanagan thought for a minute. Officers up on deck, possibly captured by the unknowns on board. Numerous sick that needed attention. He would first need to take inventory. Alcohol would be a good start, sanitize anything that couldn't be tossed. He began looking for the medical station, assuming it was nearby. He needed more than his little bag of tricks could provide. Fever reducers, clean towels. cold water, if he was lucky he would find saline for the more extreme cases. For the moment his plan wasn't to cure the illness. It was to fall back on training and make sure the patients lived long enough to be taken to a better location. All they had to do was survive the storm. Things were calm at the moment, which meant that they had either gotten out of it, or were in the eye.

"Natsume, are in the middle of the storm?" He asked still holding a container of wipes in one hand and a bottle of pills in the other. The thought hadn't really impacted him until now.

"Uuh yes sir, you're welcome!" Mio replied

"Hey, Mio, think you best stick close, we don't know who we're dealing with above right now and you and I are the only firepower down here."

"Right."

"Yes, sir. Based on the momentary calming and the fact it's gradually growing rougher again, I'd say we're in a hurricane at this point, likely still situated in the eye but that'll be closing up fast in no time."

Outside the storm, the AFP Barracuda continued to contact and send our rescue teams for ships that made it out of the hurricane. Quite a few were rattled, and one or two needed an actual rescue. Addition vessels from the Federal Navy were on the way to assist, but the storm blocked the way. It seemed the Federal Navy would have to aid from afar, leaving the Barracuda alone as it stretched it's resources to check on everyone in the way of the storm.

Onboard the AHSCA’n vessel, William closed the door on the final passenger and took off his gloves and mask before tossing both in a plastic bag that served as his trash can. The bag would certainly qualify as a biohazard by this point, so he made sure to quarantine it as well, tying it off and tossing it in a medical office, before rising his hands with alcohol. He looked for a sticker or something to mark it, but instead found paper and pen, simply writing “BIOHAZARD” on some spare paper and taping it to the bag. The patients were as well as they could be at the moment, he had fresh water in rooms and used what drugs he could to reduce fevers. They needed medical attention ASAP. Maybe they could get lucky and make it to Port in Lamoni or Coltarin. Though he had no idea if they would even take the ship, infected as it was. Maybe the Mokan floating city could find them, but that was an even less of a chance.

“Natsume, Officer Mio, I have done all I can to make sure the patients are doing alright, there are a lot of them, including one little girl named Yuzu that seems to be hit pretty hard. I’ll be honest, we need a hospital, and we need it ASAP. Can we get to the bridge and find out what is going on?”

Natume nodded "Yeah the sickness is the worse in little children. If we can get on course to get out of this storm or to some help, Cap' is the one to do it. Mio you think you can get him to the bridge?"

"I can." Mio nodded

"You get him there, I'll take care of the rest of the passengers, the ones that are still well."

"You sure, situation like this some might try to start a fight?"

"Don't worry about me, I can handle things." Natsume handed Mio a lantern to light her way with

"Right. All right, Doctor, follow me." Mio with the doc in her wake weaved around the innards of the ship to find the best route possible to the upper decks so they could reach the bridge. "All right this should be the most direct route. It's rough out there so hold tight, keep your balance!" It was a very precarious situation with waves crashing over the decks of the ship. Mio's lantern light was enough to catch eyes of the crew who were able to help them both stay on their feet and and not get washed away. Lead by the Second Mate all the way down the forward deck up to the bridge.

"Captain!" The weather beaten Second Mate shouted after getting into the safety of the bridge. "Nagisa how are you holding up --" Aina turned about to see the few extras she had with her Second Mate. Mio whom she recognized given it was the ship's police officer but a foreign man. Unusual to have odd people up here in this weather.

"Captain," Mio said "This is a Mokastana Doctor, he's been helping with the people below deck who are sick."

"You have my thanks, Doctor." Aina gave a slight bow while still holding firmly to the wheel. "What can you tell me and is there anything else me or my crew can do?"

William bid farewell to Natsume and followed Mio to the bridge. The boat rocked back and forth with the storm, forcing him to focus on balance with every step. A few times he almost slipped, but caught himself on a guard rail. This was nothing like the river boats at home, this was a proper ocean storm, and he felt like he was merely a rag doll, trying to survive it.

“Just as long as we don't have to go outside.”

As if on cue, Mio led them outside, her lantern guiding the way to the forward deck. If she said anything to him, it was lost in the waves crashing around them. He gripped tightly the rails, less walking and more pulling himself along. Every step a fight to hold on, less he become another hand lost at sea. Until finally he felt someone pulling at him, and he found himself inside once more, still soaked and heavy from the amount of water dripping from his clothes. Trying to clean out his ears he finally heard some of the commotion going on around him.

"Captain!" "Nagisa how are you holding up --" "Captain, This is a Mokastana Doctor, he's been helping with the people below deck who are sick."

She was sort of right, he was still technically not a doctor, only a Nurse Practitioner, but it was probably close enough for the situation at hand. Coughing up a bit of sea water from the trip, he realized his first impression was probably not the best, but it seemed like this Captain cared mostly for a status update and keeping her boat safe, something he certainly appreciated.
"You have my thanks, Doctor. What can you tell me and is there anything else me or my crew can do?"

“We can keep them hydrated and isolated, but we need a hospital ASAP. I would strongly advise getting on the radio and reaching anyone who might be able to escort us to a safe port. Some might even be asymptomatic, carrying it to other passengers without realizing it. If we stay out at sea another two or three weeks, I cannot promise you that everyone will survive.”

"Mmm no radio I'm afraid, sir. Just what we have as usual. We're working to find harbor somewhere but this storm continues to give us trouble. Kiri what's our last position?"

"45.268.45. Heading on our northerly track."

"We're too far to turn back to AHSCA and still a ways out from your homeland." She motioned for her first mate to take the wheel while she took the lantern to overlook the maps. She also gestured him to come look with her. "You said we won't last with weeks, I believe you but you think we can squeeze a few days out? Enough to maybe find a closer port or signal a passing ship? We're in trade routes we're likely to come across someone soon."

Aboard AVN Knoxville, McKagan Class Frigate

Captain Dooley had seen better days. Ever since the Commonwealth of Avisronia had turned away from its stated policy of isolationism and pushed its way back into world markets, he’d seen nothing but trouble. “Back in the day, we were always in some tropical paradise, shelling some backward locals for a few weeks and then enjoying the spoils of war for a few months...” he trailed off as another wave crashed into the bridge of his ship. You see, Avisronia’s navy, having withdrawn from world affairs for almost two decades, had fallen by the wayside. It wasn’t that the ships were old, it was that the missions were... secondary. Where before he had overseen escorting some of the largest battleships in the world. Now, he was stuck escorting an monstrous oil tanker through the storm of the century.

The problem, though, was the ship. The McKagan Class Guided Missile Frigate was a ship designed for stealth. A ship designed to sit in calm waters off an enemy coast and harass enemy air power before it could reach cruising altitude. As such, it’s characteristics in these seas were... rough.

“Sir,” one of the officers on watch broke the silence. “There’s something going on up ahead. Ship in distress, shots fired, apparently someone being boarded... possibly fighter jets inbound?”

The Captain paused. “They probably don’t know we’re here yet. The tanker is already several nautical miles behind us and looks like regular traffic anyway, let’s have them stop while we approach.”

Then, the Captain hopped on the radio: “We are the Avisronian flagged naval vessel Knoxville, asserting our right to innocent passage in an international sea lane. Does anyone here need our assistance? We’re equipped for small scale search and rescue.”

With that said, the Knoxville launched it’s small, unarmed UAV from the rear of the ship and toward the conflagration of vessels. Maybe if their radio was out, they could at least signal something that could be made out as “SOS.” The intelligence bay, down in the bowels of the ship, quickly sat to work trying to identify the ship that was in trouble, and prepared to make a series of slow, head on passes at its bridge in hopes someone with a light was still at home.

With that said, in a storm of this magnitude, the UAV’s flight effectiveness would be... diminished.

The Baltic Wolf came crashing down from a high wave out of the mist. It could only now see around it, and found, surprisingly, that there was a ship next to it.

The Captain didn't know it yet, but this was the Knoxville.

The Captain spoke, "Men, get ready to board that ship and see what shiny, valuable playthings we might find aboard."

The men readied and ran to positions.

“Sir, apparent hostile vessel just appeared beside us! Must’ve been hiding in a swell. They’ve got men on the outside of their vessel apparently preparing a boarding party.”

Captain Dooley sat up. “Not today. Full speed. Put some distance between us, alert the security team, and bring our weapons to bear.”

It must’ve been an impressive sight. As the twin water jets at the rear of the frigate shot out of the water as the ship roared to full speed, her dual 5 inch guns pitched out of their protective enclaves and focused toward the attacking vesssel. Simultaneously, the twin remote controlled 30 mm turrets on here rear, with a whole ensemble of .50 mm guns, became ready visible without a single crewman visible on deck.

With the Knoxville now at north of 30 knots and putting distance between herself and her attacker, Captain Dooley opened a radio channel. “Hello, indentified vessel. Again, I am Captain Dooley of the Avisronian flagged naval vessel AVN Knoxville. We were exercising our internationally recognized right to innocent passage and attempting to lend aid to a stricken vessel. Your maneuveres here today make it seem as if you are intent on creating a conflict where there is none. Our intention is not to harm you, but if you threaten my ship, or any other, we will gladly do so. Any sign of aggression will be met with your destruction.”

In the CIC, the Chief Weapons Officer brings the full brunt of Knoxville’s armament to aim on the intruding vessel. One wrong move, and this powder keg will be... a bad day.

Meanwhile, with everyone else supposedly cut off from the outside world, the Knoxville has one more advantage. An encrypted message is sent via satellite datalink to the Avisronian Navy. Backup is on its way, in the form of AVN Kentucky, one of the nation’s newest diesel-electric submarines. Quieter than any nuclear boomer, and borderline impossible to detect with the ambient sounds of the seas in this storm, the vessel stealthily makes its way into theater. It won’t be long until the opposing vessel is in range of Kentucky’s anti-ship missiles.

(ooc: new players, welcome to the RP)

The deck crew keeping the ship afloat were also busy watching for signs other ships may be in the area. They escaped one set of problems but were now finding themselves in a host of other. The aft end of the ship were two signlaers in charge of the ship's signal light. The ship ran without modern telegraph or radio coms so it was all old fashioned light signals. "Should we signal?" The girl asked her companion at her side

"If it was one of the ships from earlier I think they would have charged us. Let's give them a signal!" They flashed a distress SOS. But suddenly out of the blackness next to it another ship was bearing down on the ship they were trying to reach. "Who is that?!"

"Oh Goddess of Light Preserve us all but they look like they're ready for a fight."

--BRIDGE--

"Captain...." Kiri motioned for her to join at the helm again. "Ships." Captain Aina noticed the lights gleaming. It should have been a welcome sight but it seemed this ship wasn't catching a break tonight. "Uuh they don't look too friendly either."

"Keep north but swing hard-to-starboard!"

"Aye captain!" Kiri swung the wheel a hard right to starboard pushing the ship more and more into the swells and saves, as if anything else had been on them all night. "Why does every ship in the world want to attack us in this storm?" She asked rhetorically "I hate to do this but we're going full blackout now! We won't survive if we're blown apart. Kiri have the signal crew cease."

"Aye captain!"

A huge wave rolled right over them in the meantime knocking anyone who wasn't holding onto anything to their feet likely. "Ah damn. This is bad."

"You all right, Captain?" Kiri asked her

"I'm just fine, is everyone else here okay?"

Most of the crew were able to give a reply "Hang tight. Boy I never thought I'd want all that fancy modern stuff right about now." She sighed a bit remorseful now she was such a staunch traditionalist in a time like this. She'd face storms before, even hurricanes not unlike this but not with a cascade of extra problems on this. A ship full of sick passengers and crew, a raging storm around them and somehow more ships looking to cause trouble for them. She wanted to die, but only if it meant everyone else here could live. Their lives were resting on her shoulders and it was a heavy burden to face right now. "Satsuki, you and me may be together sooner than I thought" she muttered quietly her eyes still dead focused on the horizon.

AVN Knoxville

Captain Dooley was a busy man. His vessel, now at full speed and outrunning the apparently enemy vessel, was now faced with another concern. “Sir, ship ahead is flashing SOS.”

The Captain pondered the situation. Was this a well laid trap? Pirates in this region had been known to use storms to attack vessels, but never a flagged naval vessel. The oil tanker had lagged back and was by now supported by the AVN Kentucky diesel-electric sub, which was still inbound. It seemed unlikely that the tanker was the target. Several hundred nautical miles back, the 5th Carrier Battle Group, which held responsibility for this section of the shipping lane, had taken an interest in the emerging situation, and had dispatched AVN Ashevillle, a Battlecruiser, to steam toward the situation, as well as launching a Combat Air Patrol of four AVF-15 Tactical Strike Fighters (think of a stealthy, all weather F-14) to loiter between the oil tanker and the Knoxville.

“It can’t be a trap...” he thought.

“Signal back, Morse code if you have to, and get on those giant LED screens they made us put up: ‘We are friendly. Avisronian. The other ship is not with us. Do you need a tow? How can we help. Other assets inbound.”

The Knoxville continued in wide, arching circling, keeping a distance between it and the enemy ship. In seas like these, launching a boarding party by small boat would be suicide, especially against the tall, slab sided stealth frigate that didn’t so much as have a hand rail visible, nor so much as a life preserver to hide behind once some unlucky fool did did aboard. The robotic .50 cals would have a field day.

While Captain Dooley was making sure he’d done all he could to make a boarding near on impossible, his Chief Intelligence Officer made another important transmission: he satellite designated the enemy ship as an enemy combatant, and the friendly ships as such, in the Avisronian Naval Intellence System. It’s exactly location would be readily available to either the AVN Kentucky attack submarine, that was unbeknownst to everyone slipping into the region under full battery power, as well as to the loitering AVF-15’s. One wrong move and a barrage of countermeasure evading anti-ship missiles would be inbound.

(OOC: I just wanted to clear some things up. I mentioned a Carrier Battle Group, a Battlecruiser, a Combat Air Patrol of 4 planed, and a submarine. The only asset of all of that, in the immediate vicinity of the conflict, is the diesel electric attack submarine. The Battlecruiser is way back at the oil tanker I immediately mentioned, just for support, and the CVN is only so I could launch a CAP. The CAP is stealthy, and I intend to leave it out of the action. Sorry, I just didn’t want to be one of those guys who floods his entire navy into every thread.)

[B]IC[/b

ATTN: Naval Forces of Mokastana,AFP Baracuda

Greetings, my name is Captain Dooley from the Avisronian Guided Missile Frigate Knoxville. Owing to the conflict that has apparently broken out in your stretch of the seas here, I wanted to touch base, identify ourselves, and try to reach an accord.

This shipping lane, at least the international portion of it, is one that the Commonwealth uses extensively to resupply our military depot at Diego New Perth. As such, with the rise of piracy, ships such as mine sometimes escort our own oil tankers, especially during storms like this. That’s what we were doing when we came under harassment by a ship of unknown origins, obstensibly flagged under the Baltic Wolf national flag. This nation had designs on boarding us, but I believe thought otherwise when they realized who we were.

Regardless, as it stands, we have multiple air and naval assets in a holding pattern just outside the area of engagement, minus my ship, whose intention it is to assist in the rescue of the stricken civilian liner that started this. When and if we are able to rescue them, do you wish to receive them for further medical care?

From one Captain to another, I thought it simply polite to inform you of our actions.

Signed,

Captain Dooley

The signal crew kept their eyes peered. Stationed in a cupola at the aft end of the ship, it was easier for them to deal with the weather compared to the crew. "Shino, looks like they're signaling back."

"It's morse." Shino pulled up her binoculars "Tsuki, write down and get ready to signal back. We are friendly. Avisronian. The other ship is not with us. How can we help. Other assets inbound.” End."

"Captain ordered blackout conditions, you think we should signal back? How do we know this isn't some kind of setup?"

"Well if they want to kill us they would have done it already. Frankly if they want to raid us and get sick, that's their prerogative. I hate to go against the captain, but I think she'll understand." Aina was a reasonable woman with her crew if they disobeyed orders for a very good reason and this seemed like a very good reason.

"Kay let's signal back. S.O.S. S.O.S..." Tsuki flashed the light patterns to give the needed code "Half-power. Broken mast. Sick passengers. Under attack. Need to get to nearest shore. Need medical help."

Chief Tactical Officer Bryce Olsen had reached his breaking point with this situation. An ex Coast Guard pilot, he wasn’t the least bit afraid of flying in these conditions, but the Captain had previously grounded his unit after an unfortunate incident with some pirates.

“Sir, with all due respect...”

Captain Dooley was his eyebrow and nodded at Lt. Olsen.

“If we stay out here much longer, either that ship is going to sink, this is going to turn into a shooting gallery, or both. Let me take a team of Marines over. The worst that can happen... well, the best that can happen is that we find a way to evacuate them. We’ll fast rope onto the bridge, set up a radio link, and figure it out.”

Captain Dooley weighed the risks. The air theater had calmed down, so if it was going to happen, now was the time.

Roughly 30 minutes later the giant LH-90 helicopter was airborne. Designed to serve a dual role of combat search and rescue, as well as producing helicopter gunship versions, the extra weight would at least control the buffering from the storm. Circling the ship a couple of times, weapons visible, the helicopter parked itself directly above the stricken ships bridge, or at least right where the lights had been coming from.

Lt. Olsen, having suggested the idea, felt obliged to be the first man down the rope.

He almost missed, bouncing off the railing, falling, and cracking at least a rib. As soon as he stood up, another of Knoxville’s Naval Security infantrymen was beside him. A total of six, fully armed, made their way to where the light had been coming from.

Seeing a figure in the distance, he yelled simply “We’re from the Avisronian Navy, we’re here to help!” and sincerely hoped he didn’t get shot.

"I will do my best, everyone is stable and hydrated for moment, but every day without proper care the chance of something going wrong goes up. Do we have anyone on this ship who is trained in any medical skill who can help keep these people hydrated and fed? Or at least keep an eye on fevers in case they go too high?"

William knew the medical issues were secondary, the storm was the biggest concern right now. Well, the storm and the pirates and the active war zone. The outbreak would be a concern for while, the goal right now was to survive to tonight. Lots of trouble was following this little vessel and he didn't have any idea of what to do besides help the sick. Just then a crew member called for the Captain and more ships had been sited. This was a busy Sea Lane despite the raging hurricane it seemed. As the black out order went out and the ship went quiet William spoke up to the Captain.

“Captain, my name is William Flanagan, I was a Combat medic for the PUF Army. Sorry for the late introductions. With even more ships around here, do we have any arms?”

William looked worried as ropes and men began boarding the ship in the darkness.

AFP Barracuda

The message came in and the Captain read it quickly. Just what he needed, another naval vessel in the storm. At least this one was cordial but it was being chased by pirates as well.

“Any chance we can get a rescue unit to that vessel?”

“Weather conditions are still to rough for a flight rescue, but we might be able to get a Tomahawk craft to them.”

“Good, get one loaded up and on route to the vessel that seems to be the magnet for all the trouble today. Maybe the Tomahawk can help tow it out of the storm.

(ooc: was hoping for a post from Avisronia but haven't heard back so in the mean time)

Aina was a bit perplexed she thought he was a doctor, well she didn't know he was a nurse well either way more hands are usually better than two. "If there is, I'm afraid I really don't know. We don't have a ship doctor or anything like that..." Now she really wished she had it never occurred to her to hire a regular doctor so many tourists coming through there was a good chance one would be. "You can ask any passengers you can that are well. Anything you can do really I appreciate it. Also a bit strange to say this now but consider your ticket refunded." Why did she say that now? What am I an idiot? Who cares about that! Maybe just a bit of levity to get them through.

"Captain, based on our coordinates we may be a a day or two from a nearby shore."

"If we can make it through the storm, yes."

Was that a joke? We are at sea fighting fevers and hurricanes, and she cracks a joke? AHSCAns have a reputation of being easy going but.. Wow. She is keeping it cool in THIS??? William chuckled, mildly amused at the ticket comment, "I will certainly keep that in mind. Oh, before I forget and head out so you can save our asses, my name is William Flanagan, former Combat medic for the PUF and a civilian nurse practitioner, not a doctor per se, but we usually knows what the doctors don't.”

After a bit of back and forth, William knew it was time to brave the storm once more and try to meet with the other passengers, and see what kind of medical skills they had available.

"Lead the way Officer Mio, I'll be right behind you, assuming the wind doesn't blow me away."

Might as well as continue cracking jokes to keep the spirits up. he thought to himself.

ooc:
Well you are welcome to join if you like even just another passing vessel in the storm. I don't think we'll be hitting the arctic or antarctic seeing as I'm coming from tropical waters on a due north course.

Mokastana wrote:Was that a joke?

"Well nurse or doctor whatever it is you do, I'm just glad you were aboard otherwise things could be so much worse. Thank you, Mr. Flanagan" She gave a nod but had to turn her attention back to the sea in front of her as she resumed her firm grip of the wheel. "I leave him to you Mio"

"Aye captain. Come along hold on tight!" Another race across the decks and back beneath them and they began a search even among the sick there was no telling who could possibly have the experience. "Natsume!" Mio saw her as she was tending to some of the sick "is this everyone in the quarantine zone?"

"Actually now that you mention it, Cabin 15, there's someone held up in there says she's sick but not too sick or something."

"I thought we moved everyone."

"Mmm maybe we missed her, things are pretty crazy right now"

"Got a point there."

"You gonna drag her out here?"

"No that shouldn't be needed, we have all the non-sick passengers and sick passengers quarantined already she should be fine but we best check on her. Mr. Flanagan!" She called him over "It may be that we missed a passenger in our first sweep. I don't see a need to force her from the cabin but we should double check just to make sure if she's sick or not." She lead him along down the corridor to Cabin 15 here giving it a knock

"Please stay away!"

"Miss, I'm the Ship's Officer! We're not going to make you leave but we do have an illness going around! I have a doctor-nurse-medical person here we just want to check you."

"It's The Fever right? I had figured given some of the ruckus going on. I'm exposed to it already and I have some symptoms. Wait you said a nurse is aboard? "

"Yes ma'am, he's right with me now."

"If he gears up he can come in, you stay out Officer."

"Yes ma'am."

"All right she's all yours." She took out a piece of red chalk from her pockets "Once done mark the door with this."

"I leave him to you Mio"

William fought to stay up during the storm as they went back outside. These were islanders, no doubt growing up on the sea, but William had grown up in the Wellovian lowlands, and spent very little time around water. So when he lost his footing and slip down, hitting his leg it came as no surprise to him. Luckily Mio had been right there to extend a hand and help him up, making sure the land lover made it safely back inside. He would have some bruising, but it was nothing he wasn't used to.

They found Natsume who quickly updated them on the situation. Mainly cabin 15. A fickle patient. One thing William had learned working in the civilian sector for awhile was how not everyone responded in the most rational manner. Self quarantine was perhaps one of the better alternatives to some possible behaviors.

They knocked on the door, waiting for a response.

"Ma’am, I'm a Registered Nurse from the PUF, gloving and masking up now. I just want to check on you and make sure you're alright and comfortable.

He thanked Mio for the chalk and knocked.

“Ma’am, I'm coming in now. Anything i can help you with?”

"You know much about Jungle Fever? Maybe you do if you're traveling aboard a civil vessel from the isaldns. You see, I'm a doctor on the islands, I know the disease well. I've had it as a child before too so the effects won't be as severe in me doesn't mean it can't be fatal. Take my vitals tell me how I'm doing." she was sweating a bit and her breathing was labored "if this ship can't make it to port soon we're going to have a pretty high fatality rate. Especially with the children it's very likely to kill them if not treated."

Unknown Loacation, East Piethrixia Sea

The Piethrixian Spacecruiser The "sterfgeval vaartuig" Class cruiser flies overhead of the ship. The Tractor beam enables itself pulling the ship towards a Piethrixian Controlled island nearby. The moment the ship comes near a escort of ten smaller vessels with the word QUARANTINE on the side surround it. The PAF soldiers on board are wearing Hazmat Suits with Flamethrowers on their backs.

Island base #192164, two minutes after

A civilian ship was recently docked at the island. A Quarantine crew was assigned to the ship. The Base commander suspects that the virus that the passengers of the ship have is the Bio weapon code named "De Kuur". The Bio weapon was originally designed to fight The kettorians in space by mixing Ebola, Smallpox, And Polio with a pathogen that could survive in space. But the Virus was not able to penetrate the hulls of Kettroian war vessels. The space station created to make the virus was then scuttled into the East Piethrixia sea.
The base commander has Requested permission to "Burn the Virus" from the Piethrixian High Command.

(ooc: there I'm gonna have to put the brakes on. This is a MT RP and even with my fantasy elements of non-human species and running on a old PT style ship, everything behaves as an MT story. Also as the first post says while people are welcome to chase me off or fire upon me, destroying my ship in one swoop is a big NO.)
