Battle of Constanta
The Perspective of Sir Carol, Known as King Carol I
Sir Carol of Romanussia sat atop high mountains, a preliminary telescope of the early 1800s in hand. He had been a reigning monarch of the great country for many years, overseeing processes to reform the government after a Revolution, introducing a new thing to the world: Democracy. He had pioneered Romanussia's diplomatic, infrastructural, and militaristic success. He had founded a new dynasty. Yet he was aging and his claim to the throne diminished with him. Finally, his right to rule had lapsed. Enter the rich, corrupted Cherbourg estate of Germanic descent, who now claimed the throne. Romanussia had always been an overwhelmingly Latin country of Germanic influence, but the Cherbourg's had a monopoly of influence throughout the nation.
Returning to the battle, Carol looked on grimly at the battle. The Cherbourg troops were managing to hold the river. If they succeeded, it would be like a foreign power would dominate a Romanian throne. Then, in the midst of the chaos, a great young man atop a horse charged with many troops as the overrun the Cherbourg soldiers with light cavalry raiders. He charged his lance and it impaled the Cherbourg General, Lord Heinrich de Cherbourg. They had pushed them to the river when columns of infantry annihilated what was left, and the artillery did not have to lift a finger. Wait, it was he! The exiled bastard son of Carol...it was Michael the II

Michael II of Romanussia
Michael had proven himself legitimate to his father, and so the proof he found compelled him to return, where he was crowned Great King of Romanussia. A great weight had been put on his shoulders, first, to live up to expectations of Carol the great, his father, and Michael the Brave, the father before him. He knew though succession was safe, it had come to the decision of the foreign world powers on what should happen and how they would respond. romanussia needed allies. He knew Banija would soon be up in arms, detesting the Romanus people for their 'unrighteous' occupation of the Sfant-punctul Isles. Michael sat solemnly at his table. The room was a grand room in the shape of an oval, a main tower of the palace. Some dim sunlight showed through the partially closed velvet and gold-trimmed curtains. A sharp breeze blew aside the white covers on the gothic windows. Above him was a mural that curved inwards, depicting a great scene of battle and blood and war, what was thought to be beneficial for a country, even dignifying, but Michael was educated in the Institutions of Relations, and he knew this was just slander. He wrote private letters to the sovereigns of the world around him on the continent, awaiting their response and wishing to continue life as normal, implying Romanussia's condemnation of foreign intervention. But Michael knew that wouldn't stop them... It was completely up to them, the world powers.
Michael called anyone who wanted to be his ally and rallied against all who was to be his enemy. For a new age has been ushered in...
