The rolling hills and dark everlasting forest conquer most of Velinvania a country of a mere one million residents. The countryside is rich with virgin lands that men have dared not set foot on. A perfect setting for the events which have transpired recently. On the slopes of the Gounmore Mountains a small mountain range which is thought to be the most remote area in Velinvania many inner areas of the towering giants have never been explored due to how difficult it is to even reach the peaks of the wilds. With constant crumbling rocks and slippery slopes even the most adventurous have chosen not to explore the wilderness within. But a creeping shadow crawls forth from the queer structures unto the villages below.

Wild disappearances, ungodly noises, madden residents, are just some of things that have happened in the villages below. Mroben, a livestock village on the slopes of the Gounmore has been hit the hardest and strangest with over fifty perfect of its four hundred and sixty residents have been affected by unknown forces. The sheriff gone with no traces, walking villagers suddenly left in bloody brutal pools of flesh, the mayor committing suicude with a look of pure terror on the man's face. The Velinvania government is beyond puzzled by these unsettling events. With military forces moving in the villages, President Armtiage has requested outside help after the events on the night of October 13, 2017. The Information below is beyond confidential and any nation willing to send help must agree to keep this absolutely secret from anyone outside of the Investigation.

The Lead Investigator, Isaac Lekon, of the now called Gounmore Expedtion raided a cult gathering just outside the capital of High Point. Some of the cults were questioned here is a clip of the conversation.

We are shocked and certainly very appalled at the actions that have taken place in such a tranquil country such as Velinvania. The sudden disappearances of many Velinvanians along with mad residents and suicides certainly do not seem like something that would occur in such a remote and serene area. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Arstotzka has requested for the permission of the government of Velinvania to send a team of fourty police officers and twenty airmen and military personnel consisting of several detectives, forensic crime scene officers, a coroner and a number of other police officials.

It should be noted that each officer is armed with Makarov pistols while the small complement of airmen are armed with AKM rifles and other heavier armaments in the case of anything going wrong during the investigation. Should our request to help be accepted, we would like to know the nearest airport to Mroben for we will be landing an Antonov An-124 Ruslan that carries a Mi-24 helicopter and the investigators.

The Ministry of Justice of the Republic looks forward to be able to work with the Velinvanian investigators in the mysterious incident.

The Sailing Cities of IGI has heard your plea for international aid. The Prime Minister is most shocked about these events that have occurred and is willing to send special forces to assists you. We are ready to spend a small 20 man division of our elite Imperial IGI forces from the Division 1 class. International security is currently at the top of our nations priority list as we wish to suppress these incidents before they spread into other countries. In the event that this problem is not isolated the IGI will began conducting its own internal investigation to find similar cases on our homeland.

Following the dispatch of the Telegram the Prime Minister ordered Imperial IGI forces to mobilize and prepare to ship out on the IGI's newest model Osprey Troop Carrier (OTC). However takeoff has been delayed due to bad weather in Berlin and will not clear up till approximately 18:00 BST, OTC's will takeoff at this time to arrive sometime tomorrow in Velinvania.

President Armtiage is extremely pleased with the responses from all nations and request them all to land in the capital city of High Point. This beautiful old city of European design is the only nation Airport out of the country. From here the journey to the ancient Gounmore mountainswill take around 3 hours. All nations have permission to land and will be greeted by Chief of Security Mornvo Tisslen.


A small detachment of 300 military personnel are already in the the area after the communication black out with the following villages on the slopes of the Gounmore: Mroben, Semore, and Silver Hill, personal have arrived in 2 of the villagers however Mroben still has yet to be reached far up in the foothills of this mountain range. Many are now worried what exactly happened and if Mroben is still standing.

Early in the morning, residents of High Point wake up to the cacophony of rotors whipping through the cool air, as a fleet of CH-47s and Ospreys decorated with the hexagonal Purnlewian Airforce logo make their way towards the only airport of Velinvania. Each craft chock full of equipment and personnel, and five sling-loading HMMWVs.

A white Osprey touches down on the airport first, letting out 14 people, all dressed in white coats and carrying duffel bags of equipment. One of them, a tall man in his early forties, approaches Mornovo Tisslen, introducing himself.
"I'm Director Timov, Purnelaw Advanced Sciences Department. I'll be in command of the Purnelewian investigation team. We've brought some of our own equipment that we're unloading as soon as they touch down."
As the rest of the craft land, their crews immediately began to unload a myriad of crates and machinery. The two platoons of soldiers disembark, rifles slung, and provide security for the personnel unloading the equipment. The CH-47s take off quickly once their cargo holds deplete, heading back home, and leaving only the 5 MV-22s.

"Sir, to be honest this is the first actual mission for us...."
"I know son, don't worry. Your Imperial IGI, you've been trained for this." Sgt. Ferrit looks around at the young faces and addresses them all. "Alright men. I know a lot of you are fresh from training but that doesn't mean anything. You were all hand selected to be trained as Imperial IGI forces, and that means you are the best! The OTC began descending towards High Point, as it did the transport began shuttering. Unexpected pressure changes were making for a rough landing shaking the plane about and causing the pilots some serious grief while trying to land. Eventually after a combination of skill and luck the pilots were able to set her down and unload the men . The men unloaded onto the tarmac and realized they were not the only ones there. They saw that the Prunelaw forces had arrived and with a sizable force, and equipment. Sgt. Ferrit went to the two men, Mornvo and Timov,

"Men, I am Sgt. Ferrit of the Imperial IGI, Division One Class. I am glad to meet both of you here. There is exactly 20 men including myself, we hope that we are able to help you in containing this incident."

The older man waited as the gear was unloaded by the foreigners. He had already greeted another team and this one he suspected would be the last of the nations to arrive. Mornvo was a man of action more then anything having lived through the brief, but dark times of Communist Velinvania he quickly realized that words are cheap. As one of the members of this nation came forward to the grim man his facial features turned into one of trust and happiness.

"Hello! Excuse me for English it's not our native language you see... We are thankful for your time with us and hope to contain this this ummmm threat in Gounmore. Let us go to barracks, yes?;other nation is there now."

He said in broken but understood English and waited for the all clear symbol to advance towards the barracks at the High Point Air Force located at the airport just a few hundred feet away.

The JSF maintained a presence of 2 battalions at the airbase and moved all equipment needed to the correct area.
Intel would be passed onto the teams as the neared the dropzone, while in the space above Gebeta, satellites were moving around to make a pass over the area and take high res photos of potential drop zones. Clearings would be needed for the drones to touch down safe.
It promised to be an interesting deployment none the less.

Both nations have permission to land in this mysterious land however recent developments may change some minds on the idea of landing near the Gounmore. Experience in the paranormal is needed as this event is turning into something unknown to us.

A strange light spectacular in color indescribable in nature has been seen in the village of Mroben soldierswho have been sent to the village have not been seen or reported back. The autumn leaves fall and the sky is darken with blackness all around the Gounmore the horror slowly takes over something unseen but Velinvania soilders are beyond terrified, even with technology that has always propelled man to the future the soldiers feel primal fear of unknown source. The 2nd battalion aka "Jumping Jacks" are to launch into the area tomorrow along with the 2nd amor battalion aka "Dinzers".

Meanwhile in High Point strange graffiti paints the walls around the city. "Quiet Butcher Nears" a cursed message that is striking fear into the populous. The light of the Gounmore can even be seen faintly in the city. Officials have written it off as a military test but more and more people are starting to believe this is something beyond understanding.

Director Timov offers Sgt. Ferrit a cordial nod before saying, "I suppose we should get underway, then." He then proceeds into the barracks, following Mornovo.

The Purnelewian contingent in the airfield had set up a "base camp" of sorts, with a perimeter being formed by the soldiers of Task Force 14. Personnel were milling about, taking preliminary measurements of the atmosphere, magnetic waves and seismic activity. Most interestingly however, was that the nose of the white MV-22 had been covered in a tent, with engineers ferrying strange looking machinery from a large black crate into the covering.
