The President was kidnapped and executed by the MCNA.
The MCNA quickly usurped power, but was promptly destroyed in a military coup.

The Parliament Building has been bombed and is now a pile of rubble.
The Military Governor replaces the President.
Military Governor Kurt Luxor announces the beginning of the First Arconese Genocide, which aims to bring the population down from nearly 200 million, to a more manageable 24 million.

Over 180 million people have died. The genocide is officially over. Arconum is split into 13 Districts, and one Capital (Luxembourg).
The borders into Arconum have been closed, and nobody can get in or out.
The birth rate is set to 1 child per person, with forced abortions.
The age of consent was raised to 24.
The death penalty is standard for all offences.
Martial law is in place.
MG Kurt Luxor announces the execution of his closest allies, over 34 people. They were stripped naked and thrown into a pack of hungry dogs.

Districts 13, 12, 11, 8 and 3 declare independence, marking the beginning of the First Rebellion.

14 days later...

Districts 12, 11, 8, 9, 3, 2, 7 and 10 were brutally damaged by Capital forces. District 13 was destroyed entirely with the use of non-nuclear weapons.
The Treaty of the 13 Districts is signed by all districts -

Article 1 - Districts will have an assigned object to manufacture. All of these will be sent to the Capital in exchange for food, water, and protection.

Article 2 - Districts will offer up a male and female "Tribute" between the ages of 12 and 18, at random at a public "Reaping".

Article 3 - These Tributes will be placed in an arena to Fight to the Death, in an annual pageant known henceforth as the "Survival Games"

Article 4 - Every 25 years, inclusive of the First Survival Games will have a "Quarter Quell", in which a special twist is added.

Article 5 - Any member of a District who commits a crime such as exiting their District without proper permission from the Military Governor will have their tongues cut out, or be executed depending on the severity of their crime.

Article 6 - Any talk of Rebellion or Crime will lead to the punishments detailed in Article 5.

Article 7 - If one member of a family commits a crime, the entire family will be punished (inclusive of cousins).

Article 8 - Residents of the Rebel Districts (12, 11, 8 and 3) will have 75% less food and water per person until the Fourth Quarter Quell of the Survival Games.

Article 9 - Police Officers will be renamed "Wardens".

Article 10 - Military Spending is to be kept at 75% for 150 years.

Article 11 - All males and females, upon reaching the age of 19, must serve 5 years in the Military.

Article 12 - Any Victor of the Survival Games will be moved to the Capital. They will receive 15,000,000 Credits per Year until their death.

Article 13 - Any Victor of the Survival Games will be exempt from Military Service and will not be obliged to partake in another Games (unless a Quarter Quell rules specifies otherwise).

Article 14 - All planetary colonies will have their oxygen supply cut off when this Treaty is signed.

Article 15 - Starfleet will be disbanded.

Article 16 - The Federation of Arconum is to be renamed to the Borderlands of Arconum.

Article 17 - All diplomatic ties with any other nation is to be cancelled.

The First Survival Games (1st Quarter Quell) takes place in Arconum. The arena theme is a sea.
The twist for this Quarter Quell is that anybody is eligible to partake in the Games, to represent how people of all ages from the Capital fought against the Rebellion. The minimum age is 12, still, however.
These games will last the default 14until a forced death match is called.

10 days later...

23 year old male tribute Psymiul Gunheart of District 4 wins the games. Being the First Victor, his picture will be framed in the Residence of the Military Governor.

Psymiul's victory prompts Districts 1, 4, 5 and 6 begin training Tributes for the Games.

Military Governor Kurt Luxor declares the renaming of the role of Military Governor to Chef vum Staat, or Staat for short. The title for the incumbent Chef vum Staat is Staat. Previous holders of the role of Chef vum Staat have the title of Alen Staat.

Luxor resigns from office, but appoints keen supporter of the Survival Games, Perus Glimmerbee as CVS.

Another interesting part of holding the title of Staat or Alen Staat is that you can choose a single noun name. Glimmerbee was the first to choose this, calling himself Kinnek.

Staat Kinnek's first move is to increase tax on the Districts from 80 percent to 95 percent, excluding District 1 and 5.

The old oil based fuel was shipped up cheaply to the wormhole generator where it was wormholed into the upper atmosphere of the planet and then caught on fire. This mass burning has reheated several areas of the planet and added significant amounts of CO2. Though the size was minimal, it was enough to heat up some of the ice to reverse the feedback loop of freezing. Much darker terrestrial surface is now exposed and has stabilized the planet's temperature. Combined this with an increase of CO2 releasing wildlife, the biosphere has become stable.
The planet is still far from even having a fraction of it covered with life.
The glaciers have aided in flattening surfaces allowing much more of the planet to be covered in water. The temperature is still cool, roughly 14 degress farenheit less than Earth's average.
Because of this the majority of the planet is tundra or temperate forest. A small strip along the equator is a Mediterranean type climate.

Following stability the first on ground area was landed upon. A Protacan flag was planted into the ground, several ships have begun undocking smelteries, machinery, and equipment. A few temporary ship buildings have provided for 200 people on the planet. Agriculture has been started. This is the first Colony on an exoplanet. The planet has been claimed entirely by Protacan.

Our space military has expanded decently, able to afford off the sale of the majority of the remaining Protacan sea vessels.

Australian colonists in Protacan Indonesia have now interfered upon religious tribal land and have violated the promises made to the tribes or decentralized sectors. A few have rioted in anger. We ask Australia to please leave. All of Indonesia is ours and has been ours for a long time. Note that the "ours" defines a large number of various sectors with different law, cultures, and rule, a few even isolated at their consent in order to please all types and all cultures within our nation. This peaceful coexistence is now threatened by aggressive Australian migration.

We only now realize that we have sold the majority of our military goods to a nation violating our right to sovereignty.

A delegation has been sent to Australia to discuss Indonesia and perhaps make an agreement.
Regardless we wish that this issue does not stain our great relationship with Australia.

Orlando, has made possible compromise, 1, all colonists are to be moved, 2, they will be moved to an artificial island, 3 miles wide, 2 miles long, with a population of all of the colonists (surveyed at 26,152 people) and which will be payed 3/4 by Australia, 1/4 by protacan, 3, it be under Australian occupation, and 4, the expense of their removal be paid by both Australia and protacan equally.

Protacan advertising has been working fairly well. We have been working on developing the planet and dealing with its disease issues.

We apologize to Australia but we cant afford even our portion of their proposed expenses. We offer a different idea where they can travel through Protacan with right of passage and thus be the first on land settlers on Papua New Guinea. Our cities, tribal locations, and areas slowly decrease up to the Indonesian Papua New Guinea proposed border, with a large park making up the area on the boundary zone. Thus there is no Protacan developments and we renounce any claims on the area so that Australia may have it.

Orlando has agreed to these terms, and formally apologizes for any inconveniences. On a happy note, operation Luna is finally done with building everything, and the will be launched in 2 weeks.

Parliament passes the Electoral Assurance Act 2053.
It means that a snap election can only be held with 75% of the Parliament agreeing, and that all Presidents must serve a minimum term of 5 years (unless impeached or a snap election is called).
However a clause in the Electoral Assurance Act forces an election to take place.
Also, the Electoral Assurance Act causes the founding of the Committee for the Prevention of Electoral Fraud (CPEF). The CPEF is tasked with preventing electoral fraud, preventing the bypassing of the snap election rule, and prevent corruption.

All elections which use the CPEF to safeguard them are known as CPEF [type of election] election [year of election].

(I also plan to use these parties for all forthcoming elections to keep some form of order in my nation since rn it's broken).

After a year, we have finally launched all 12 rockets to the moon. Orlando has commented on it as "the beginning of the stairs that leads to a stronger Australia.". After so long much of the people who watched it on tv (it was allowed to only be seen personally by the news, workers, and high ranking officials) were happy and I thankful nothing wrong happened. After 3 days all of the crew have landed on the moon, and after a few hours they have found all of the rooms, and combined them. They named the colony Luna Australis and have started to perform expiraments, farm, and try to plant trees.

Notorious hacker group ZETA-1, famous for the 2039 cyber-attack on the Zechsantwerp Nuclear Plant (which resulted in a nuclear meltdown and 534 lives lost), Techgate 2044 (when Hague-based security firm ZehndaszTek was proven to be selling the details of its customers to fraudsters), the 2044 Amsterdam Bombings (which were caused by fake news spread by them across popular social media network Instagram), and the 2051 DDOS Attacks on the Government (also leading classified files to be leaked to the public in the Zeta Papers which in turn led to the impeachment of ex-President Calvin Rye).

ZETA-1's latest attack is purportedly the most damaging attack in the last 40 years. They released a 7 petabyte file titled "ZETA_PAPERS(2).zip" to WikiLeaks. About 73TB of the files have been analysed by the Arconum Broadcasting Company (ABC)'s Spearhead programme. They have revealed damaging things including details of corruption in the Protacan police caused by rich politicians, Australian politicians who have kept money in offshore bank accounts located in tax havens such as the Isle of Man and Jersey.

The hacks occurred just before the Arconese CPEF PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION 2053. It has led to parties previously thought to not have a chance in the election to win the Three Way First Round Election -

Therefore the new President is Ian Osso, who now has to deal with the Zeta Alpha Papers (nicknamed by the media).
Osso calls for the ISD to divert all of its attention to finding the perpetrators of the hack. IP logs and further investigation have ruled out all nations except Benovoum, Australia and Arconum to be the home of the hacker group. Due to Arconum being named as a suspect country to be home to ZETA-1. The Military Police has been tasked with carrying out raids on addresses.

President Osso demands that TAI explain this. 4 Arconese Dreadnought-class ships have been deployed to capture Bermuda. The A.N. Calvin Rye, an aircraft carrier is already near Bermuda, and is carrying 1200 troops. It will capture Bermuda in order to gain a strategic position in the Atlantic if war does start.

3 days later...

Bermuda was captured by the Calvin Rye. Bermuda's airport is being converted to an airbase. Civilians are voluntarily joining the Air Force and the Navy.
The AAF repossessed 14 BLA/R-12s from Starfleet. The SF/R-12 is made by Arconese company Belgian Aeronautics, and is armed with green laser technology, which is 25% more effective than blue lasers. It is also armed with BLA/X-38A homing missiles, which are 120% more powerful than green laser technology. However there are only 8 of them aboard, while as green laser runs on fuel and the extra-flammable hylafluid, it can fire 100,000 shots before needing to be refilled.

All of these BLA/R12s will arrive at Bermuda in 24 hours.

Ingalia states that the so-called "Electoral Fraud" was actually just a small operation carried out by the Nationalist governor of Grenada. He more or less "Laundered" votes and manipulated many people to vote for the socialists. We expect about 20,000 votes from Grenada to be influenced or laundered.

The Governor and all related officials have been arrested, as well as the Mayor of New Orleans, as we believe he also laundered up to 3000 false votes.
They are being transported to Havana for trial.

The Parliament and Thomas Henry are discussing possible reforms to prevent things like this from happening.


As for the plans to Invade TAI, they were drafted by military officials during Fernando Bolivar's regime, and were only a last minute resort.
Fernando Bolivar's military officails drafted hundreds of plans like it, at least one for every country, had war been declared.
Now that Ingalia has reached a new, Democratic age, we no longer have need for plans like that. Ingalia's only current military goal is defense. \

We will allow Arconum intelligence officials to work in Louisiana and Grenada ONLY. They will be under surveillance and have to work with Ingalian intellegence officials.

As for the other leaks, neither Thomas Henry or any Parliament members have made any statements.

Protests in Luxembourg erupt into violent riots after a protestor threw a bicycle at a police officer. He was arrested, but the officers were beaten up. 2 officers died.
President Ian Osso announces that 200 Army Peacekeepers will be dispatched to Luxembourg. Attacking a peacekeeper is a war crime in Arconum. These peacekeepers will serve no other purpose than to keep police officers and rioters from clashing.

Further examination by ABC's Spearhead uncovers plans by Ingalia to incite violence in Arconum. Although these will be treated as a plan in case Arconum intervened in the American-Ingalian war, the ISD will examine these files in order to determine the general time when they were created.
Other documents uncovered are plans by an Ingalian neo-nazi terrorist group to fly a plane to assassinate their leader. (This plan is not revealed to the public, but is revealed to Ingalia's government. It was dated to just 4 months old).
Also, the most notable document is an Australian plan to assassinate the Protacan leader (albeit using an assassin who is himself an American immigrant and an American passport-holder). This possible scenario could have caused a major political crisis in Commuria.

In other news, the ISD is grateful that Ingalia has approved them to work in Louisiana and Grenada. A team of 5 ISD officers will be flown out to New Orleans, and 7 are being sent to Grenada. These officers are not trained in combat and have been background checked thoroughly to prevent possible corruption. Arconum also secretly requests that Ingalia keeps an incredibly close eye on them due to possible corruption within the ISD as shown in the Zeta Alpha Papers.

All the Zeta Alpha Papers are available to foreign intelligence services and foreign INDEPENDENT news organisations.
(Note that WikiLeaks took down the files in order to co-operate with Arconese authorities.)

The LPD (Luxembourg Police Department) released a statement stating that they are dealing with corruption within the police force as a matter of urgency. Around 57 of the 7,400 officers have been suspended and arrested. 12 of them have a court date scheduled, the first of which is the most serious case.

Alexander Ramonov will appear before the Luxembourg City Court in 10 days.

Orlando has stated that the idea that he would assassinate another leader is ludicrous, wrong, and horrifying. We would never take their rights of living away unless it was a brutal dictatorship, one that takes away freedom from their own people. Yes, we may have had a small argument about southern Guinea, but that was It. In fact, most people like protacan civilians who travel to Australia due to how protacan was the main source of aid after the bombings of the entirety of Australia and, a major amount of people are protacan to some extent due to how most of the original people of Australia died, with protacans inhabiting it afterwards.

We assure Arconum that the documents they uncovered were old, and had been made during the TAI civil war.
We only made them because we expected Arconum of assassinating the then Military Dictator, Fernando Bolivar.
Since then, all traces of Bolivar's regime have been erased, and the new government holds no hard feelings, but we are a little apprehensive about working with Arconum, which is why we put so many restrictions on their agents.
We will keep a close eye on them.
Our actions are only to insure our own safety.

As for the Neo-Nazi terror threat, we have launched a large investigation.
Ingalia has a very small white minority, with most of the population being Latino, Native, or Creole/African American.
Our white minority, many from the old NCA regime, have spawned several white supremacist terrorist groups.
So this is no surprise to us, and we expect to find the culprits soon.
