The countermeasure was just a decoy the US Navy uses duck tapped to a small torpedo that locks on to other torpedoes.
The countermeasure doesn't even have to try and hit the enemy torpedoes, it just has to get closer to them.

Also, that sub is hell-bent on destroying some damaged ships trying to get back home.

So... this ain't going to be considered cannon to Valgora.
Not because I'm losing, but because I doubt that a nation would go to war with the same amount of ineptitude that I showed towards naval warfare.
So this is really just practiced for me.

However, what happened earlier, when Atkemri blockaded Valgora for a fuckin' speech, is considered cannon. And this war is considered cannon; however, Valgora ain't actually part of it.

That means all my ships, aircraft, and ground forces never actually existed and are figments of y'all's imagination.

I lost 2 entire fleets in 1 shot, because I didn't have AWACS above it. I've kept it canon and use it as a learning lesson and rallying point IC'ly. It hurts in the short term, but can keep things interesting in the long.

Besides, IMO, if you were to retcon, then all my action would not have happened, and it would change so much of the RP that it would either A) have to be restarted, or the more likely B) would kill the RP

Also, unless the Q or some mind altering drug was present, then I doubt that 3+ nations militaries would hallucinate another fleet

Accepting it as cannon would kinda literally cripple my navy. I doubt the carrier is going to survive. And that is only 1 of 3 Valgora has. And the other two ain't really modern; they have modern equipment, but the ships themselves are not.
And Valgora can only realistically build corvette and (maybe) frigate-sized vessels without using an older boat as a base. And that's with or without magic.

So, it's not so much as it'll hurt in the short term, it's that it'll cripple in the long term.

Of course, I can just go with that Valgora has either three or four carriers, with both being the equivalent of modern US aircraft carriers.

Hey, I finally got an answer, the torps are 17 m below the surface. As for fiber optic cable, I was operating with them having 30 km internal, plus each torpedo tube having an additional roll of 50 km

Both Assault Ships were hit, the Cruiser, Frigate, and all the destroyers and carrier are no longer combat effective

I'm going to say that only my assault carriers are fine.

I have a couple of destroyers who can use guns, but... they're not going anywhere any time soon.


I also still have fighters in the air to deal with those pesky attack helicopters Atkemri is using.

I'm landing troops and tanks that are fighting his; as well as having attack helicopters take off.
I've fire bombed his capital - need to wait on him to say how much damage.
I'm using my attack aircraft to attack his troops and tanks.
I'm using my assault carriers' CIWS to shoot at his troops.
And I'm using my aircraft against his attack helicopters.

But I haven't read a single post from him about dealing with my shit.

I have to agree here. I don't recall him mentioning any of this. Especially the firebombing, which should have been a decent part of a post
