I can't put a number to every base I'm afraid, so that'll have to be your judgement. However, there should be a higher military presence in the north due to French tensions. Airbase would contain maybe 10 fighters and several utility aircraft while the central army base might contain around 6-7000 due to it being 'north command'.

Alright, what are your plans?

The Vancouvian fuck-up (which is still planned, right?) will drag more ARRF forces into the fight and the Oster units will join under the joint command. For this I'd have to assume that the Oster units (a few special operations batches and an amphibious/airborne taskforce) were on the Noronnican or Vancouvian vessels around Charbagnia all this time, waiting for their deployment. Once on the ground operations will be mainly under Noronnican coordination as the stronger force of the three, so my units will perform missions given to them by the leading Noronnican generals in the area. This will include raids against Charbagnian military infrastructure and WMD sites and involvement in fighting against Charbagnian forces.

This is still the plan to my understanding. This sounds good, if you want help on the WMD sites then I can assist once the western islands are secure - you are reminding me that I need to create a dispatch for the joint operation.

Ok, so 6-7k jeez. My guys are gonna probably try to hit the air base with mortar attacks on their hangers and helicopter depots, then. Or, we lay low and wait for you guys to start invading. But I like the first option.

Hopefully that's enough to get ARRF dragged in and start some operations

Okay, so what I plan to do differently from Arván is try to show troop movements on the map and show how bases and areas are occupied in pseudo-real time.

Here is the strategic map of Charbagnia inspired by a Gulf War map. I will try to update it as much as possible, so in your posts related to military unit movements, could you try to make it obvious where you are going? Alternatively, just send me a tg or post on this thread about where you are. Ostehaar and Corindia, I have included nuclear power stations if you want to continue on that line of thought. I have also included oilfields as well.

Awesome would you want to put dots on for VSF squads or is that too small?

Thanks guys. Vancouvia - squads would be too small, what I plan to do is something like this:

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... rm_Map.svg

So I’d go down to Century level at most but most likely Cohort for the VSF, as I’ll be doing the same for other forces involved. However, if the VSF does something big such as destroy a base etc. at squad level then I’ll put your symbol on said base.

I'm planning on writing a story about some SPD agents...extracting a Charbagnian nuclear physicist. They're going to do it to a few people, and it should raise eyebrows from the Charb government that these people are disappearing.

Noronica - planning to have the three ships deploy 40 soldiers each to Narzieu and Laughes.

And then join the Noronican fleet to destroy the Charbagnian one. You okay with this? And forget the plane thing.

This sounds good, although you might want to begin with joining the allied fleet first as the Charbagnian fleet is harassing any ships that are trying to break through their blockade.

Alright, I'm happy that you're starting this part of the story as it will be interesting when we all begin to realise that there were no nuclear warheads and the scientists were still working on trying to make one.

Good posts!

Developing on that map I made, I have made a factbook for the allied operation here - https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=973934

It would be good if everyone could tg me or post their troop numbers so far or their aid personnel. Also, are people fine with the updates being what is 'out in the open' or should the updates include everything people have posted?

Noron am I correct in saying that you are invading Frebonne? If so, that's a big jump from naval standoff to invasion.

No, I'm on Westinseln and the Charb fleet already engaged the allied fleet.

Noro and Van - can you please give a quick update on how many and what type of forces you've got around, and where exactly are they (next to which towns, close to which coast, etc.)?

9th and 15th cohorts (600 - 100? casualties): paratrooped and scattered, mostly around the interior inland. The goal was to drop them close to population centers / military installations to have them sabotage what they could before a main force arrived (ARRF). I can get specific if you want, but feel free to put them wherever you want for the greatest storytelling.

I'm manually moving one squad form the 8th cohort towards the capital for a special mission.

General Storm sits off the coast with 5 cohorts (1,500). Consider this my Spearhead First Echelon contingent with a little extra manpower. Feel free to take control of these and have them join the main attack.

We haven't brought any vehicles, so what we have to throw at them is mostly just more infantry and UAV strikes once air control is achieved.

You're scattered across the northern reaches of the country... wanna run into some communist rebels?

I’m going to put down the alliance’s movements down on the map tomorrow and I hope to have a new post then as well. Thanks for all the posts so far and sorry for the slow pace at the moment with my posts.
