Premier Sergei Petrov of The Union of Zhopgradian Socialist Republics (which shall now be known as UZSR) decides it is about time to get involved in the cold war instead of stand around with a puny "Socialism in one country" Policy. The UZSR wishes to join the Eastern Bloc, but in the meantime, begins sending funds to Leftist Organizations all around the west. In one of Sergei's speeches he says "The Bourgeoisie will never know what hit them, in 10 years, this world will be flying banners of Marx!"

That is a civilian aircraft. The only use in the military would be a transport for Generals.

1- my mistake, I just want to be ready in case the West should attack. I am sort of militaristic.
2- My mistake again, I think transport would be beneficial

We would like to send 150 Mig-35 fighters and 75 Tu-22 supersonic bombers.

"The leader has fallen ill, and despite the Homerian medical system's best efforts he is near death. News of this has all but destroyed support for the loyalist party, coallesing power for the neutralists, the unionists, and even the War Hawks. This has eased the government gridlock but leaves the need for the election of a new leader capable of leading. Such a thing has not happened since the Leader came into power sixty years ago. The vote of the people will undoubtedly swing the balance of power into one of the major factions' favour. Currently the moderates are the most popular, followed closely by the neutralists, and trailed by the War Hawks.

We request permission to send medical equipment and highly trained doctors. However, Marshal Shelenev, the Commander of the Armed forces is extremely hostile to the fact that Moderates are getting into power. This will expose our flanks, he says With this, 10 divisions and 5 border guard battalions are sent to the border with the land of home.

Sandersongradian military, after a warning from Lemonsky, draws back its military. "Anyhow," foreign minister Eduar Aleksander says "we should not draw away from our military at our borders. We need to be strong, comrades!" He then gets some new about The Land of Home's leader. Aleksander tells the crowd and sends a medical team to transport supplies.

Ijekalarin Damadrii Vaikjarrys paces around his office staring at a map of Allyria with daggers placed into the areas covered by the Dragontail Mountains and the Thilran Sarai'n "If our nation is to be attacked, this is where we will stand," he mutters to the Foreign Minister while pacing at a slower speed, "here is where our forces should be training, they must be used to the terrain. Also, call the Treasury for me and see if they can allocate the funds for a large procurement of new weapons and armour for the new wave on conscripts I want them training as soon as possible. In addition, ask the Exterior Minister to telegram the Consulate in the Land of Home instructing them Allyrian Military support to maintain their non-allignment should they be attacked."

Andropov has enacted some... staffing changes. The war Minister, Malkhazi Paalo, has been sent to the Sandersongradian Gulag system for "treason". Andropov fills the position and is now in supreme control of The International Army. Andropov sits in his chair, reading the Communist Manefesto. "This had to be done," he says to himself, not sure how to address this to the public.

Andropov, knowing crisis has been averted, for the Stalinist faction would have totally used this to ruin his career. He sends more troops to assist Lemonsky, to show his graditude.

Out of pure respect, Colonel General Gromov, head of the Lemonsky General Staff, says no. "We already have enough troops, they are the largest on this continent."

The UZSR begins work designing a new and cheap tank model to allow for mass assaults similar to that of T-34s and thus will be named the T-35, It will be supported by IS-9 (also still being worked on).

IS-8 (IS-9 will pretty much be this, except modernized)
Image

T-34 (T-35 will look similar as well)

Edit: disregard this Apparently we are not in the Early to mid cold war I thought this was.

There was already a T-35 tank. However, that is ww2 tech, we can send 655 T-84 Opolot-M tanks, in an effort to modernize Zhopograd's forces.

"The proud leader of The land of home refuses the offer of foriegn medical aid, and few protest. The elections proceed as usual with polls showing a surprising surge in the popularity of the war Hawks, not enough for them to overcome their shortfall, but enough to close the gap. It seems the foriegn interference has only made the Homerians more hostile to outsiders

The election has concluded and the votes have been tallied. 3 million votes for the neutralists candidate, 2.5 million votes for the war Hawks, and 2 million votes for the moderates. Five hundred thousand citizens either failed to vote or filled out the ballets incorrectly. Unfortunately none of the candidates gained the required majority of the vote, making it nescesarry for the Homerian assembly to choose between the two candidates who received the most votes.

The Lemonsky Military command sighed in relief, as a neutralist politician would gain power.

Josef Andropov is making a public statement: "If we are to make ourselves a communist military alliance, we need to have some sort of pact. My politicians will write it up on a whim! We must be the strongest if we are to go to war. I suggest-" dramatic pause "a New Warsaw Pact. All those who agree in using this to fortify the Bloc, simply say so. Happy 1250th unification day Allyrije! In order to celebrate this joyous occasion for our glorious Kingdom our Monarch has ordered a large military parade in our nation's beating heart. Not only will this be a celebration of all that sacrificed by our ancestors, our national achievements but an opportunity for our nation to show its teeth to the wider world and to ward off any potential aggressors in these turbulent times.
