One of the major setbacks of the Dragontail Tanks is their weak guns and armour. However, this is replaced with an ability to operate in all terrains and environments as well as having an immensely high speed allowing those who possess them to use them year-round; allowing the Nationalists to continue Armour operations no-matter-what.

Filled with renewed confidence after support from the Lemonsky Government was received the RKA begins to launch Counter-Offensives to reclaim lost territory with some success; thinning the supply lines leading to Bluestar and the column of land connecting the city and the NKA as a whole. The attacks are filled with zeal and each success only grows the morale of the Reformist troops, rallying under their new flag the populace gathers to sing hymns and other Folk Songs in support of their King Wilmedin before sending fresh troops to the front in this new counter-offensive.

*BREAKING NEWS* The recently established FOB Heita has come under siege by a large contingent of RKA infantry and artillery. At 9:37 AM, a small 50-man patrol was reported to have been ambushed 5 miles east of FOB Heita, after a 30 minute intense firefight with around a third of the patrol becoming casualties they were force to fall back back to Heita. The battered patrol arrived back at Heita around 4 hours after retreating from the firefight only to be forced back into another when they entered the FOB. Presumably the enemy was most likely following the retreating patrol back to Heita, this is believed to be part of a new spring offensive that had begun a couple days ago by the RKA forces. The attack opened with around 20 minutes of constant shelling from howitzers and mortars from the northeast of the FOB followed by a massive infantry attack that slowly encircled the base. Within an hour the base was effectively cut off, surrounded, and besieged. With only ~1000 men defending from all sides, with casualties mounting and cut off they most likely will be only be able to hold out for less that a couple days at most. Major General Huanti, Commander of all forces in Allyrije, has requested that the Free Cities send at a battalion of airborne to help quickly reinforce the FOB while asking Allyrian HQ for a relief force to be sent promptly to the base.

Recently, Lemonsky Allyrjians have been joining the Army en-masse. Already the army has counted 200,000 Allyrjians of the Allyrjian Socialist Autonomous republic, in the northwest of Lemonsky. They are grouped into 20 Divisions, of which 2 are Aviation Divisions, 4 are Armored Divisions armed with T-84 Oplot-M tanks. The Oplot M mounting more advanced armor, new electronic countermeasure systems, and others. One visible feature is the new PNK-6 panoramic tank sight The Oplot MBT is armed with a 125 mm smoothbore KBA-3 cannon, a KT-7.62 (PKT) Coaxial machine gun and a KT-12.7 anti-aircraft machine gun. The main gun is fed by a loading system equipped with conveyor, automatic loader and control system. The ammunition includes high explosive fragmentation (HE-FRAG), armour-piercing fin-stabilised discarding-sabot (APFSDS), high explosive anti tank (HEAT) and gun mount (GM) rounds.

The main gun can also fire a laser guided missile against battle tanks, armoured vehicles and hovering helicopters within the range of 5,000m. The missile can be fired on the move against travelling targets. The tandem warhead fitted on the missile can defeat targets equipped with explosive reactive armour and advanced spaced armour.

The Oplot has 46 rounds of ammunition for the main gun, of which 28 rounds are placed in the automatic loader. Other ammunition types carried are 1,250 rounds for KT-7.62 machine gun, 450 rounds for KT-12.7 machine gun and 450 rounds for AKS submachine gun. The downside is high fuel consumption, and expensive to maintain. The other divisions were Mechanized infantry ones. These troops, were calling on to their deployment as volunteers. On the night of the 17th of March, they dressed in RKA Uniforms and crossed the border. They then were stationed at the Nordic Line, or a heavily prepared line of defense. They waited and.....

The UCZ decides to revert to WW2 technology and add Machine gun pods near the back of it's Latest Bombers. New Air force recruits are being trained to shoot at pursuing Aircraft, until the Air force is modernized, bombing of the Western Isles will be halted.
Meanwhile the UCZ tanks have devastated the road from Trowzastan to Gopnikistan, recapture of the city would be difficult at best. The Trowzastan-Vodkastan Bridge has been destroyed.
The ZSS have been pushed out of the Capital Disctrict in the west, but have managed to enter from the East.
The Capitalists have managed to set up Base camps and trenches near the shores.

The Lemonsky Forces, sending the troops already deployed in Allyrjie to break though and relive the 2nd Army in which they succeded, while Lemonsky Air Divisions provided cover for forces retreat. The 14th Volunteer Army, or the newly sent divisions, arived at the Nordic Line.

ATLAS performs it's first mission, striking major routes needed for Lemonskian forces to get to needed positions.

Being trained for quick and rapid movements the Lighting Troop division present uses a strategy of elastic defence to deal with the Lemonskite attackers, slowly drawing them into the encirclement with the RKA's 2nd Army, calling in reinforcements from Lárathalvjéllárr 3 & 4 of Lighting Groups 3 & 4 to push the encirclement. In addition, the position of the encirclement is flagged as a target for carpet bombing and heavy shelling with the skirmish becoming the battle of the Lathala Valley as the encircled troops are trapped between two mountains as Lighting Groups and Artillery close in on their position from up-high. The Southern Front stagnates, as after fast gains, NKA troops grind to a halt to plan, re-group and re-organise before a fresh push to Arjigrad.

When news of the encirclement reaches the RKA Government in Arjigrad all offensives are cancelled with the General Staff of the RKA trying to piece together communications with the Isolated 2nd Army and the Lemonskite Volunteers.

Many people would expect a dimly lit forest in the Allyrian forest during the night to be quite the beautiful and serene image one could see in their lifetime. Hell, if one could afford to travel to this spot it would be well worth to check out as a vacation spot. But the scene of carnage that was unfolding in front of Lance Corporal Zhuli was far from the typical image one would be seeing on a night like this. Only till a stray bullet dipped low enough into the dirt in front of Zhuli splashing dirt into his peripheral vision did he awake from his daydream. Why was he here? What did he do wrong to deserve this? Am I going to die here, I haven't even gotten married yet. Countless thoughts like these were racing through his head as he was firing back to the ravaged forest in front of him. Zhuli was like many others young soldiers in the unit over-zealous, and thought of this deployment as a sort of field trip for them. Never in his mind would he come to regret that as soon as now and find himself desiring to be back in the Free Cities at Base Liu and wishing to do the most monotonous of duties in his daily itinerary than be in the current predicament he was in now. *CHOONK* sounds of mortars round being fired from the rear of Zhuli could be heard and seconds later the night sky lit up as if it was morning, it was illumination rounds being fired.

As the sky was lit bright the light soon traveled to reveal what was underneath it. A sea of men charging at his foxhole, frantically Zhuli fired his rifle in quick successive rounds one by one, hitting one, two, three till it was too many for him to count with his fingers. But did it really matter how many he killed? When one man dropped another would just charge in to fill his position, the enemy seemingly unrelenting like tsunami one that would no matter what barriers you would put to slow it down. Zhuli knew they would never win and would quickly be overrun if they were to keep at these suicidal charges. But he knew he had to keep his weapon firing, no way would they allow to keep someone alive after killing so many of their friends and allies. Firing and firing, the faster he would shoot the closer they would get, just like the men in front of him Zhuli would not back down. But he could not continue firing like this and very quickly he had ran his ammo dry, he could not run out of his foxhole to gather more ammo, they were too close and bullets were crackling pass the top and side of his head, the moment he gets up he knew he would be hit. Panicking Zhuli thoughts very racing. What could he do to stay alive just a bit longer? He knew that was a very idealistic thought only those who would be thinking that were those who believe they could not die or help was coming. He knew that was not the case, but he was still human, he wanted to live more than anything else. Coming to a realization he quickly searched his vest and pulled out his bayonet, just because he didn't have ammo it didn't mean he couldn't continuing fighting. He quickly attached his bayonet to the ring near the front of the barrel of his rifle and prepared for a close confrontation. He got into a position ready to pounce on any enemy that was willing to jump into his foxhole, but he then realized he had to be quick and precise, he could not allow more than one to face him even if he had the desire to fight with all his might his body answered differently. He then remembered it has been 2 days since he had last slept and has had only crackers and water as any other ration would take too long to prepare. He then saw a enemy soldier nearing his foxhole and when he was less than 15 feet from him he lunged and thrust with all his strength stabbing and incapacitating the enemy soldier. Using the wounded enemy as a meat shield Zhuli charged at another nearby enemy soldier. Thrusting and stabbing countless number of soldiers and when he was about to strike another the enemy being charged out discharged his weapon at Zhuli out of fear. Zhuli felt his body become unresponsive, his legs became limp and he fell to the ground bleeding, the round had struck his neck, an area the vest failed to protect. The enemy soon shrugged off their fear of Zhuli and advanced with their assault. As he layed there, his body felt cold, the world slowed, and it was all silent a world that could only be felt by those nearing death, as he reminisced about his life and where it could've gone he felt "content." He was a fairly good son and lived quite a nice life up to now, it was strange he more-so felt worried about how others would feel when he was gone more-so then he was about to die at any moment. Slowly his vision became dimmer and he felt extremely tired, he just wanted to sleep, and when he was just about to close his eyes he was awakened by the sounds of whistles, it was the sound of retreat. But it was strange why would we retreat, we were effectively encircled but he quickly realized if it wasn't us then it had to be them, the enemy was retreating. He could not believe these turn of events, they were finally being relieved, and he tears began to stream down his cheeks because he had no other way than crying to express his joy and happiness. It was then he felt it was alright to rest for the battle was over for him and for the last moment of his life he closed his eyes and breathed his last breath.

The 2-day siege would become one of the bloodiest engagements for the Free Cities in the Allyrian Civil War. Of the original 1051 defenders, over 3/4 had become combat casualties during the 2 days.

Coming to a realization he quickly searched his vest and pulled out his bayonet, just because he didn't have ammo it didn't mean he couldn't continuing fighting. He quickly attached his bayonet to the ring near the front of the barrel of his rifle and prepared for a close confrontation. He got into a position ready to pounce on any enemy that was willing to jump into his foxhole, but he then realized he had to be quick and precise, he could not allow more than one to face him even if he had the desire to fight with all his might his body answered differently. He then remembered it has been 2 days since he had last slept and has had only crackers and water as any other ration would take too long to prepare. He then saw a enemy soldier nearing his foxhole and when he was less than 15 feet from him he lunged and thrust with all his strength stabbing and incapacitating the enemy soldier. Using the wounded enemy as a meat shield Zhuli charged at another nearby enemy soldier. Thrusting and stabbing countless number of soldiers and when he was about to strike another the enemy being charged out discharged his weapon at Zhuli out of fear. Zhuli felt his body become unresponsive, his legs became limp and he fell to the ground bleeding, the round had struck his neck, an area the vest failed to protect. The enemy soon shrugged off their fear of Zhuli and advanced with their assault. As he layed there, his body felt cold, the world slowed, and it was all silent a world that could only be felt by those nearing death, as he reminisced about his life and where it could've gone he felt "content." He was a fairly good son and lived quite a nice life up to now, it was strange he more-so felt worried about how others would feel when he was gone more-so then he was about to die at any moment. Slowly his vision became dimmer and he felt extremely tired, he just wanted to sleep, and when he was just about to close his eyes he was awakened by the sounds of whistles, it was the sound of retreat. But it was strange why would we retreat, we were effectively encircled but he quickly realized if it wasn't us then it had to be them, the enemy was retreating. He could not believe these turn of events, they were finally being relieved, and he tears began to stream down his cheeks because he had no other way than crying to express his joy and happiness. It was then he felt it was alright to rest for the battle was over for him and for the last moment of his life he closed his eyes and breathed his last breath.

The 2-day siege would become one of the bloodiest engagements for the Free Cities in the Allyrian Civil War. Of the original 1051 defenders, over 3/4 had become combat casualties during the 2 days.

The UCZ would send it's condolences to the families of those who died in that conflict, but not to the Free Cities Government (for obvious reasons).
