The colony world of Sedara had flourished for years, it was the first colony to dare to use a polaron energy power plant that supplies energy to everyone on the planet from one place, even though they knew the dangers of the total destruction of the planet if the power plant explodes, the planet is also filled with precious minerals and metals like gold and research stations primarily focused on genetic modification and Flood research. But now a group who want independence from the Normandian Empire and Emperor Sebastian and have chosen Sedara to 'liberate' first, this group is know as the Alliance of Independent Colonists. It began with its attack on the recently re-elected (chosen only by Emperor Sebastian) governor James Reyes, who said that 'the AIC would be able to be destroyed in a blink of an eye'. But that was a lie only to comfort the people. As the AIC gained more supplies, weapons and technologies from unknown factions they began to retaliate even more. Entire cities became warzones and the economy started to fall on Sedara, little was known to other colonies about the civil war until an amateur video was made showing how two Normandian soldiers executed a AIC prisoner without orders to do so on the middle of the street, which caused even more uproar. The capital, Sedara City became of what's known as the Last Civilization. Other sites are mostly orbital bombarded or a small reminder of what was once a great civilization.

It was another raining day on Sedara, people were desperately trying to get food supplies transport ships would send, others were protesting to force the Ares Energy company to shut down their polaron energy power plant that would destroy the entire planet if one of the tubes of the main reactor would be destroyed.
On the edges of the city a giant wall was created to defend the city from the AIC, every now and then an attack was carried out in attempt to breach the walls but they were often countered. Other citizens from cities that are still under Normandian control also entered and exited.

In the Colonial Government Center which was now turned into a military HQ generals and other high ranking military officials where pointing at maps showing which course of action to retake certain cities would be the best.
"There's no way I'm going to send those men there!" a corporal shouted "We don't know what's going on in that city, it's probably filled with those cowering and traitorous rats!"
"Calm down corporal." a man in white robes who just entered the room said "We've asked for reinforcements-"
"More Normandians are going to be sacrificed here just to reclaim this hellhole?!"
"Not exactly, general. You see this planet isn't just a 'hellhole' as you want to describe it but this planet is Sedara, the richest and most prosperous colony we have in the Outer Territories. It's home to a polaron energy plant that produces an infinite amount of energy for an infinite amount of time, it has mines full of precious metals like diamonds and gold, it is a large trade hub too, we have research stations with valuable information scattered all over the planet, the list keeps expanding. We can't just give this colony to those barbarians! That's why I've asked for help from some... allies."
"From the Imperial Consortium?"
"Yes and also others who might be interested in helping us. They can come here at any minute, I suggest that you clean this room from unnecessary maps and paperwork and turn it into a real war room."

Slipspace, en route to Sedara

The ISS Glorious Winter was the flagship of Novus Fleet tasked to fight the AIC and to liberate the colony, but that was a difficult objective since ANI was unable to come up with any intel of their whereabouts or their own fleet, but with a couple of allies helping them their goal could be easier to achieve. The Emperor has only recently given green light on the mission since he thought Sedara was a lost hope but politicians, generals and admirals have convinced him to do something about it.

"Sir, ETA is 5 minutes." a bridge officer said. "Good, give the order to mobilize our squads and to get ready to transport them to the capital on my orders. And get our shields up and get everyone to Yellow alert. Who knows an AIC squadron is going to ambush us." the captain replied.

"Everyone, sir?", "Everyone..."

Near Port Sedara the slipspace portals opened and Nova Fleet consisting out of 50 ships warped out of it.

"I need twelve frigates online to patrol the area and to guide our guests safely to Sedara."

"Yes, sir"

[Pax Cybertronian]

A Doomsday-class warship - similar to the Nemesis in design - escaped Transwarp and headed towards Sedara. It was called the Starhunter, famed for being instrumental in the defeat of the Human Confederacy on Tamil Duniya. Sedara was subjected to an ongoing civil war for independence from the Normandian Empire, and as an ally of Harrison, Megatron saw it fit to assist in Harrison's attempt to regain control of the planet.

General Skyquake sat on the bridge of the ship, eying the HUD, on which displayed a red triangle moving slowly towards a green circle (Sedara) amongst the billions of stars surrounding them. He had recently been ordered by Megatron to aid the Normandians in destroying the growing resistance movement there. Security Chief of the Starhunter Snare stood alone, eying the asleep Phase-Sixer Sixshot, and beside Sixshot was Crash Test, Skyfire, Wind Sheer, Rotorbolt and Killswitch, chatting amongst themselves about the Normandians. Rotorbolt and Killswitch engaged in a dispute about whether or not Megatron should just simply oust Governor James Reyes and put in a far more brutal politician in place. Preferably a Cybertronian.

Stalker, Soundblaster, Vain Train and Crain Brain were the assigned pilot of the Starhunter, while Agonizer was searching the internet on his DataPad on historical artefacts throughout the Normandian Empire and how much they'd sell for... preferably a few hundred thousand shanix. In the brig was Berserker, psychopathically struggling against his restraints, spitting out the most graphic threats possible. Guarding him was Cop-Tur, Bad Boy, Bug Bite and Stretch, some of Cykill's soldiers. Cykill himself had locked himself away in his war room with his lieutenant, Crasher, and his direct second-in-command, Fitor, plotting different ways that they could crush the resistance. Thousands of maps about Sedara and its many cities - most of which are now warzones - dotted the room, alongside a countless amount of paperwork.

Finally, Stalker announced that they were about to arrive on Sedara, and all they had to do was to contact the ISS Glorious Winter to guide them to Sedara.

"Excellent, excellent!" Skyquake responded. "Decepticons! Prepare for departure! Stalker: announce our arrival to our biological allies; tell them we've sent a warship to assist them and there's a couple thousand frigates and other such spaceships inside it."

After Stalker sent a message to the ISS Glorious Winter announcing their arrival and requesting that they guide the Starhunter to Sedara, Skyquake kicked back, resting his helm on his chair. Surrounding him was his men tapping away on the control panels and darting from room to room, and all he had to do was to wait for their reply.

The comms officer was listening to "Xenophobia" with his earpods until suddenly a message on his screen popped up. It was the message of the Cybertronians asking for guidance to Sedara, he takes out his earpods and tells the captain the news.
"Sir, the Cybertronians have arrived they're asking for guidance to Sedara. Where should I send them?"
"Send them with three of our frigates to Klusia, the nearest city to Sedara City under AIC control. Tell them our intelligence reports about AIC positions, troops et cetera and that extra reinforcements will come after they arrived there."

The comms officer immediately send back a message to the Starhunter, giving away the coordinates of Klusia, the estimated size of the AIC army stationed there and that three frigates will support them.
"Sir, if other allies will come, should I inform them too that they need to go to Klusia?"

"Yes do it, when we've cleared Klusia give orders to our allies to immediately leave the city and to get to the capital (Sedara City). We need to inspect Klusia to the bottom to ensure that-" the captain coughed, approached the comms officer and whispered in his ear: "the underground research facilities are unharmed and to see if the contamination protocols to stop it have activated, or else we have a larger problem..."
The comms officer nodded and resumed his work, first sending the message to Starhunter and then preparing the message for other allies of the Imperial Consortium.

Three frigates approached Starhunter and escorted the ship down to the surface of Sedara to the city they were going to retake.

"We can't stay here any longer! We're pinned down and we need immediate evac!" one of the NMA soldiers shouted to his commanders. The NMA has attempted to retake the city of Klusia earlier without success, the remaining platoons were forced to retreat to the Ares Energy Company Headquarters where they are making their last stand. "Sir, if we don't leave now we all are going to die!"

"My orders are-" an AIC soldier with an RPG took out a Scorpion tank, seconds later an entire battalion charged at the squads. "GET IN THE BUILDING, NOW!" the commander shouted.

The squads hurried into the building, the soldier equipped with a radio heard the news about the Starhunter and three frigates that are going to reinforce them.
"We're saved! Send a message to them! Now!" the medic next to the Radio man said while trying to heal a bullet wound in the leg.

"This is NMA -*garbled* requesting immediate assistance at the Ares Energy company H-*garbled* I repeat, immediate assista- at the Ares Energy HQ!"

There was a crackling noise, like standing in a room full of static. Then a ball of bright light flashed and there she was...

The Athena, the latest of a long line of multi-centennial Dreadnoughts. The light from the system's star gleamed over her silver paint. All 300 of her heavy plasma accelerators swiveling inquisitively towards the other ships before returning to their normal positions. On the bridge, the Admiral himself sat in the command chair. I am the Admiral of the Cyberian navy, and current commander of the CS Athena, we have arrived to aid in the quelling of the revolution and assess the situation of said revolution to determine weather or not
further military action should be taken.

This is the ISS Glorious Winter to the CS Athena

We're currently gathering forces for an assault on Klusia, you have permission to enter the planet and to assist us in retaking the city.
We're sending our intelligence reports about the AIC and the coordinates of Klusia now...
Two frigates will escort you down to the surface.

We're going to attack the west side of the city first, then we'll push to the Ares Energy company where we're going to get reinforcements. Watch out, they have Scorpion tanks, Warthogs, Pelican dropships and probably even Charon-class frigates

Two frigates changed course and approached the CS Athena and escorted it down to the surface.

Klusia, West District

The site of the temporary command center surrounded by broken down traffic lights and destroyed civilian cars was preparing for an invasion. Landing pads were being cleared for other dropships with extra reinforcements and for GIL allies to land. Scorpion tanks, Warthogs and Falcons were being mobilized to participate in the initial charge. Soldiers, medics and Spartans were joining the attack too.

"We will push to the Energy HQ, a portion of our GIL allies will push to the subway station near the beaches and another one will take the strategetic position of the megamall in the North-" A commander said while pointing at maps until he was interrupted by a sergeant. "Why take the subway station? It's just a massive hole in the ground surrounded by the tallest buildings on the planet-."

"Those are my orders, besides those tall buildings can be used to our advantage." the commander replied.

The Admiral read the message before sending another one.

The Athena then moved into formation with the frigates, deploying all fighters.

[Pax Cybertronian]

The Starhunter docked near to Klusia. Skyquake rested his servo on his helm while he stared at the ceiling of the bridge. His crew were composed of competent soldiers and misfits, and those misfits could potentially damage his reputation and lose the war on Sedara. Agonizer was more interested in collecting artefacts from Sedara to sell, whereas Berserker would probably just massacre everyone there and then. That was why Berserker was restrained in the brig. Skyquake had just ordered the pilots to dock near the nearest government-controlled spaceport, where they would be able to deploy their troops and lay waste to the rebels stationed in Klusia, but first they would have to eradicate the rebels in Klusia. In mid-air, Skyquake scanned the areas for potential rebels. The cannons were ready to fire.

"Everyone! To your stations!" Skyquake ordered, and the Decepticons on board followed his demands.

The cannons were now ready to fire, and, in case of a retaliatory strike, the shields were ready to be activated. The Starhunter hovered amongst the tops of the skyscrapers like a starship from Independence Day, ready to attack at any moment.

[Higher Japan]

As a small cracking sound sounded through the system, a small fleet of Higher Japanese ships entered the system as they came in view of the system. As the fleet slowly got closer and closer to the planet, the admiral at the moment, AI Commander Aurora, sat on her holographic throne as she analyzed the events happening at the moment, screens appearing in front of her face analyzing the situation at the moment.

As she got up and disappeared, the circular section which the throne was sat on was risen up as a body rose up from the containment pod. Walking towards the massive glass window which showed a full view of the planet, she pulled out a comm link microphone as she addressed all ships within the system near the planet.

"To all ships, forgive me for breaking this sausage party but this time, the empress has sent me on a mission. I guess one of hope?" She said into the microphone before putting it back offline as she gave out orders. "All ships, launch fighters and gunships. Get supplies in orbit to the resistance forces. And get me on my personal fighter." She said, before leaving as the men scrambled about to make the needed preparations.

As soon as they were ready, various 'Pierre' fighters along with transports containing weapons began to take off, following the lead of a heavy fighter as the small group began to advance closer to the planet.

[Xibei-San-Ma]

As a small cracking sound sounded through the system, Normandian transport ships were transporting soldiers to Sedara. Those were not native Normandian troops, but foreign ones- a 1500 Ma storm troopers, who were ready to assist Normandian Empire's government. Their leader, Xing Bai, took off a pen, and started to write in his diary...

''Only reason, why I am fighting together with Normandian Empire, is for a good authority in Sedar. Yeah, I could have sided with rebels, because we hate authoritarianism, Normandian Empire itself, etc... Guess what- What if rebels would actually turn out to be worse than Normandian Empire? What if Sedar would just devolve into a failed state like Libya? And that all also in case, if rebels win, which I highly doubt- Empire clearly has an advantage here...''

He stopped to write, and checked out his surroundings. Most of his soldiers (and himself) were armed by weapons, that were quite a relics by Normandian standard, and were like a contrast between modern transport ship interior. But their morale was high, and Xing's morale as well.

''So, today we will show, that despite our weaker technology, we can still fight good! Remember, for what we fight! We fight for order and peace in Sedara, so NO pillaging, looting, killing civilians, unless necessary. Understand?''

''Yes, we do!'' Soldiers responded.

''Thanks, my men'' Xing said, with a relief in his voice. Even if it was his last fight, and he would not see his beloved mountains again, he was ready to fight his last fight with a honor.

"Any idea why we're fighting with socialists, now?" a soldier asked a sergeant. "No idea, but they said they don't want this place to turn into a 'Libya', know what that means?" the sergeant replied.
"I dunno? An animal, do you know sarge?"
"I too don't know, son. But here they come." the sergeant then whispered into the ears of the soldier. "We shall use 'em as canon fodder at the assault on the subway station."

The dropships landed at the command center and the 1500 Ma stormtroopers quickly were divided into 5 groups. Pax Cybertronians troops were deployed too and they would all receive orders.

"The Ma stormtroopers will attack the subway station and take out the AA guns allowing the Starhunter to help, from there you will advance to the megamall with the Starhunter at your side. Pax Cybertronian forces, you will advance to the airport and defend it until more of our reinforcements will come. The CS Athena and her fleet will help in controlling the airspace. Is that clear everyone?!" the general screamed to all of the soldiers

"Sir, yes sir!" the NMA soldiers said back.

"Damn right, I am."

"Move out everyone! You've gotten your orders!"

In Orbit of Sedara

Pelicans left the hangars of the ISS Glorious Winter and entered the planet, the comms officer on the bridge quickly realized that an incoming message came from an Higher Japanese fleet.
"Put it on speakers." the admiral said. A few seconds later the message came trough:
"To all ships, forgive me for breaking this sausage party but this time, the empress has sent me on a mission. I guess one of hope?"

Everyone on the bridge then stared at the Admiral, named Zayne Skylar awaiting further orders. They all knew the power Higher Japan, but they never expected them to be interested in destroying a small interstellar empire in one of the many universes they held knowledge of.
"Oh god... Recall those pelicans, now! Red alert and shields up! I need a Broadsword squadron online!"

22 broadswords left the hangars and flew to Klusia in double-V formation. The squadron needed to help the CS Athena defend Klusia from Higher Japan's fleet.

An incoming Higher Japan fleet is going to Klusia, where you are positioned right now.
Prepare for the worst, we will reinforce you will a handful of Broadswords. They are young and lacking discipline but are fiercely patriotic in defending our Empire, may that help them in achieving victory.

The two orange painted AIC frigates were brand-new models and were stolen from the NMA Navy on one of the many military colonies the Empire held, with a little help from Higher Japan the AIC was able to capture these beauties.
The fleet was going to leave slipspace near Klusia to fight enemy forces there with assistance from Higher Japan.

"Sir, we're ready to leave slipspace. Can we do it?" an ensign asked.

"Dew it." the captain replied

The large black-blue portal appeared above the sea near the city of Klusia. Two frigates left the portal and started to send dropships to the city and charged their MAC-guns to fight any other spacecraft that might endanger them.

"Ignore them." an NMA sergeant said. "They will just be target practice for the CS Athena..."

[Omega Cyber-collective]

The Admiral received the message and ordered the ship to deploy all AA defenses and to send the fighters towards the Higher Japanese. A strange smoke spewed from vents in the Athena's hull, before coalescing into nets and shooting towards the enemy dropships. One of the nets hit and dissolved, seemingly with no effect until the Craft's hull broke apart and crumpled like Styrofoam. The Athena's Plasma cannons then swiveled towards the enemy fleet and opened fire.

A message was sent:

Is this enough "Hell" for you?

12 more flashes occurred and a small fleet of 4 Corvettes and 8 Cruisers jumped in, moving into formation with the Athena.

[Xibei-San-Ma]

"So, we have to attack subway station, to disable AA guns. Wait, let me think a bit..." Xing said to his soldiers, squated, and started to draw something in his paper. For some time he didn't said anything, but only sketched in his diary. Then he standed up, and said to his soldiers:
"We are not really in a good position. Even rebels have better weapons than us. So, we will have to use other tactics, to take subway station. We will split in a more group, and every group will have a walkie-talkie, so we can communicate with each other, and coordinate attacks. Avoid a fight with big rebel divisions, rather ambush small groups or lone soldiers, and after our work is done, retreat. We can't stay in one place more than 5 minutes, after that we must move to another place. If some of you meet larger enemy groups, retreat! If they ambush you, try to retreat, and call other groups via walkie-talkie, to help! It is encouraged to take weapons from dead soldiers, or ambush rebel munition and weapon storages. Everyone understand?"

"Yes, sir!"

"Good, then now lets go, and retake this damn subway station!"

Soldiers took their weapons, and went into a subway station, a brand new world for them.

[Higher Japan]

'Hmm, such fun. But no matter. The republic's resources are available to me fully." The AI form of her on the ship said as the remaining drops ships broke through at the cost of most of their fighter escorts and half of the drop ships. As they broke through and entered orbit, the gunships flew over the entire area, mapping it out as the lead fighter dove down and began to fly through the streets while searching for any resistance members. As the dropships came down onto the ground, about 80 troops got off as the drop ships left and began to scan the area. They slowly walked around before coming to the entrance of a subway station. After getting approval, they began to go down into the station.

Back in space, the small fleet of roughly 10 destroyers, 4 cruisers and one landing support dreadnought began to move forward with all shields up as they began to send anti fighter fire towards the fighters, while moving closer with lasers being fired out of them.

Klusian Subway System

As the sun set, both the Ma troops and the Higher Japanese soldiers entered the subway station. The subway station was filled with bodies of previous attempts to retake Klusia. Both NMA and AIC forces were lying dead on the floor, some with one of their limbs missing, others just lying in a pool of blood. As the Ma troops advanced they found a couple of rooms that might be a storage room for ammo for the AA guns.SAW LMG's, an experimental Plasma Repeater and even a Railgun they could use in the fight against the opposition.
On the other side the Higher Japanese squads found a group of lost AIC soldiers.
"We need to get the hell out of here, immediately!" one of the panicking soldiers said. Another one explained the situation to the High Japan soldiers.
"See, there's a couple of our AA guns up here. Directly beneath it their ammo shells that can go boom-boom are stored down here in separate rooms, we were ordered to protect them but we lost contact with all squads. There's also some giant hole here." the soldier said while pointing in the direction of a hallway leading to the humongous crater in the ground. "Starting from the surface down to- I don't know, one kilometer? I'm really bad in estimating sizes, ya know. I say we clear out this place from any enemy and call it a day."

There indeed was a giant hole in the ground. So deep, it's too dark to see where it goes. And a weird, dirty stench came out of it...

Klusia, ICS Liberty

The AIC frigate approached and hovered over the city. Searching for any enemies in the area and at the same time sending support troops to the Ares Energy HQ, now under attack by Normandian forces.

Orbit

Captain or rear-admiral Zayne Skylar looked at the viewscreen of the main computer, showing the real-time events one of the Broadswords is experiencing while engaging one of the fighters of Higher Japan.
"Give me a holo-map of our position and theirs." he said.

On the table in the middle of the bridge a holograpic projection came up, showing the Normandian fleet in position near Sedara and the Pelican dropships coming from and to the planet. On the other side the fleet of the Cyber collective and Higher Japan could be seen.

"Show me a map of Klusia."

The projections changed and showed two AIC frigates above Klusia and dropships of Higher Japan. AA guns could also be seen near the subway station.

"Get four frigates there, we may not be able to send troops but we can stop the enemy from doing it. Let them fight the frigates from a distance with the MAC-guns and try to take out any enemy dropships, when the Xibei-San Ma forces clear the AA guns get ready to approach the city and to send reinforcements and supplies."

Four frigates left formation and approached Klusia charging and firing their MAC guns at the frigates and using AA to take out enemy dropships.

The Starhunter moved towards the airport, its weaponry all readied. Inside the warship, the hundreds of sentient Cybertronians - primarily Decepticons - were prepared for war. Most of them were manning the turrets and other weaponry, or piloting the ship. Should the need arise, Berserker would be released, and that amused Skyquake. The organics would tremble before his sight, and they would fall even faster! The Eradicons and Seekers were prepared for departure, and the space bridge was about to be activated.

"Everyone! Get prepared for war!" Skyquake bellowed. "All hail Megatron! Long live the Empire!"

"Hail Megatron!" the Decepticons reciprocated, and Seekers flew out of the landing bay towards the airport and began to fire at the rebellion. Eradicons were transported onto the ground through the Starhunter's space bridge and transformed into heavily-armoured tanks and tanks, and they began to fire at the rebels.

General Cykill and Fitor ran down the hall of the ship from their war room to the main gargantuan cockpit, now having armed themselves. Soundblaster now had Garboil perching on his shoulder, preparing to attack any intruders. Skyquake himself had armed himself with weaponry from the Skomiloch Territories that could disable some of the rebellion's weaponry if the need arises, and that could roast them like a shish-kebab on a barbecue, the same as his Predators.

[Omega Cyber-collective]

The Admiral yelled for the fleet to go code red, and to deploy heavy infantry on the surface. He asked the ODC commander for HDN status. "The stores are still regenerating, we have 5 minutes until we can let out another burst". The Commander said, eyeing the two gauges that represented the storage tanks for HDN (the net-smoke that took out most of the dropships). "We can, however, let off a volley of orbital missiles towards the Liberty, it's a large enough target". Soon, three telephone pole-sized rods were launched from the ship, speeding towards the Atmosphere. They hit the atmosphere with a sonic boom as they continued accelerating towards the Liberty.

Fighters were arcing left and right as they flew into weapons fire, unloading their entire missile complement before activating their Fusion guns and opening fire. About half were lost when they looped back toward the Athena for repair. The Corvettes had launched 20 dropships each, with 4 heavy infantry in each one. They descended towards the atmosphere and to the main area for normandian troops.

[Xibei-San-Ma]

"One of our groups have found the AA weapons!" One soldier from Xing's group said.

"Tell him to retreat. We are not ready to clash with big groups yet, and I am pretty sure, that foreign army groups are guarding AA guns as well."

"He already did, but he drew on paper, where they are, so we could find it later."

"That's good, and now let's go find more rebel weapon and ammo. Remember, don't use our new guns yet, to save ammo."

They wwnt away from AA guns, to find some small rebel soldier groups. After some time, they found 3 rebel soldiers chilling near one from metro stations, and a few small ammo crates.

"Perfect, let's ambush them!" Xing whispered.

Rebel soldiers were unpreppared for that. Xing shot one from them in head, other one was killed by another storm trooper hiding behind walls, and third one only could shoot a few rounds, before was stabbed in back by another storm trooper.

"Grab what we can! Everything will be useful!" Xing ordered to his soldiers. "We are hidding and attacking in tunnels like a rats, and for now, we have to live like them. Now, let's call all groups together, to make a summary of our new weapons and ammo, and decide, if it is worth to attack AA guns yet, or no."

[The Normandian Empire]

Klusia, ICS Liberty

The three kinetic ordnances directly hit the Liberty, destroying it's shield and heavily damaging the hull. Large pieces of the hull teared off and fell on nearby buildings and the street.
"Dammit! That was a direct hit! We need to move before the Normandian frigates finish us off!"

"Do it!"
The ICS Liberty moved out of range of the MAC guns of the Normandian frigates and began to hover high above the subway station.
"What's the status of our dropships?"

"A couple are en route to the airport, currently under attack by giant robots. I suggest we send a couple Broadswords to counter them."
Broadswords flew out of the hangar and fired their rockets and machineguns at the Cybertronian heavily armored tanks. A couple of the surviving Pelican dropships landed and dropped of soldiers equipped with Spartan Lasers, lasers equipped with the power to destroy an entire vehicle and also Mantises, a heavy combat bipedal walker. The AIC soldiers immediately fired back at the Cybertronian.

Klusian Subway System

As the Ma soldiers came together a couple of them found squads equipped with C4 remotely detonable explosives, if used correctly they could be able to destroy all AA guns at the same time, instead of a hit-and-run involving blowing them up one for one and quickly running away.
Another group passed by the giant hole, not only the stench coming from it was weird but also the sudden terrifying scream coming out of it.

UNKNOWN LOCATION

The room was fully covered in some weird slime and hives containing small Flood infection forms. In the middle of the room there was a Flood Proto-Gravemind consuming and interrogating ANI deputy director Anthony Davidson.
"M-my name... argh, Davidson, Anthony... Agency of Normandian Intelligence... Deputy Director... Service number one-five-three-six-nine dash five-two-six-seven-nine... I will... never let you... know the way... to Normandia..."

"Forget everything..." the Gravemind replied.

"You... Will never succeed! What-What are you d-doing?! Stop... looking in my... memories-AHH!"

"Everything..."

"No- Not her... Don't take... her... away from me..."

Antony Davidson's final stages to becoming Flood Proto-Gravemind were ending.

"Antony... Davidson... ANI Deputy Director... Service number one-AGH."

"No more. What you were--Memories-- Emotions. All is now ours."

A scream was the last 'words' of Anthony Davidson before he became part of the Flood.

''What the hell was that?'' Xing was surprised. That scream was so terrifying. No one knew, who caused that, but no one tried to knew thew the source of that.
''Better let's not explore that hole, it would be a stupid idea.'' One from senior commanders said. ''Also, although we have got a better equipment now, we still are armed at rebel level, so foreign volunteers could kill us. Let's try to destroy at least one AA gun with hit-and-run tactic. Other five we might try to destroy all in one time. Let's be cautious, because I am pretty sure, that there are a lot of rebel soldiers, who will be guarding AA guns. From the other side, we have got better weapons now, so we might have a chance actually.''
''You have a good ideas, commander. Let's try our luck! Prepare our bombs.''

Soldiers started to sneak up near AA guns.
''Hey, I think, that we need to try to destroy them in same time.'' One from soldiers whispered. ''Yeah, if that fails, we are pretty much dead, but if we just use hit-and-run tactics, then after 2 or 3 destroyed guns we will be under rain of bullets, and we could not get even close to AA guns.''
''Well, sticking strictly to plan could be our downfall. So, we need to be ready for improvisation.'' Xing responded in a quiet voice.

[Higher Japan]

Back on the surface of the planet, gun ships and a fighter began to fly over the entire area before they reached the AA guns. As they circled the area above the guns, the fighter began to drop in altitude as it practically flew by the streets with how low they were going, before going so low such that they suddenly by passed some soldiers. A small beeping sound could be heard from it as the gunships suddenly began to move.

"We're getting a message, they've seen the AA guns! Move!" The group commander shouted as he pointed to the nearest exit, the 80 troops flooding out and following directions before eventually reaching the AA guns as they manned and guarded the area, air cover above them. 2 frigates had also jumped into orbit and began to open fire on the 4 attacking frigates, supporting the 2 already under fire.

The engines of the ICS Liberty could be heard and felt throughout the entire station, some pieces of the ceiling collapsed and the ground was shaking.
"Seems like our High Japanese allies are saving us, focus fire on one of the frigates!"
The two AIC ships fired at one of the ships, inflicting heavy damage on its shields.

"Sir, it appears we are being under attack from orbit by Higher Japan, suggest we finish off the AIC ship and order two of the frigates to get into orbit and fight Higher Japan."
Two ships broke formation and started to engage the Japanese ships, while under heavy fire from them.

The AA guns aimed and fired at the 20 Cybercollective's dropships, directly hitting 10 of them. Some were destroyed along with the infantry in it, others were damaged and crashed in the city.
The surviving dropships landed at a plaza near the contested Ares Energy HQ, where the Normandian troops are assaulting the AIC.
"Good to see we're getting some reinforcements!" sergeant Fred Jason said to the surviving soldiers while taking cover behind a destroyed Scorpion tank. "We're trying to push trough this line but it just doesn't work. Maybe you can help us in taking this sector!"

"Where's the damn Liberty with their reinforcements?! I need the Mantis operational, now! Jenkins! Mendoza! Get the machineguns and suppress the goddamn tyrants already!" the firefight intensified on the plaza, and it appeared the Normandians were losing this fight, not even the tanks were able to break trough all obstacles in the street. The three Mantises the AIC had were just stronger and heavier armored than the Normandians expected.
"If we can take out those mantises, we can push trough the defenses and advance to the HQ. The only way to destroy them is with RPG's and Spartan Lazers, which we obviously don't have. But if you climb on the back of it and plant a grenade in it... You know what I mean, I've got an EMP rifle here, when I shoot the EMP at it one of you guys run as fast as possible at it and plant a grenade in its back. The EMP is only temporary..."

[Omega Cyber-collective]

The Heavy infantry disembarked, the leader saying "We'll have the tides turned in no time." before commanding the other infantry to get in front of the normandian infantry and activate shields. They did so, marching forward as one. "get behind them, those shields will block anything short of a nuclear warhead." the commander yelled.

Orbit

The Athena was repairing her fighters, the instant they were refueled and fixed they launched out into the atmosphere to launch missiles at the AA. On the bridge, the OCD commander said "The HDN is ready for another burst, we could take out a Higher Japanese ship with it". The HDN poured out of the Athena, moving before reshaping into a net before impacting a frigate, dissolving and causing explosions as turrets were killed and the hull started weakening.

''Quickly activate bomb detonators! Throw them only at last seconds! In this way, we might actually have a chance to destroy them.'' Xing commanded his soldiers, and ordered to attack.

After a few seconds, battlefield turned into a loud place, where almost nothing could be heard. Although at first Ma storm troopers had an advantage, because of surprise, soon there were victims in both sides. One from the soldiers threw a bombs, that had their detonators turned on, and were only left a few seconds before explosion. When bombs exploded near AA gun, it was destroyed.
''Ha! One from those guns down!'' General said. ''Throw more bombs, so we can destroy their remaining AA guns!''
He took one from explosives, and prepared to threw them, when was injured from gunfire. Lying down, he took his remaining energy, and threw bomb at another AA gun, then collapsing to ground. After a moment, another explosion occurred, reducing AA gun numbers to 4. Meanwhile, AIC soldiers were recovered from surprise, and Ma storm troopers started to lose more soldiers. There still were groups , which had not arrived yet, but those groups, who were fighting against AIC soldiers, struggled hard.

[Higher Japan]

"Bombs!" One of the soldiers shouted as an AA gun was destroyed, sending 5 more flying about as they began to return fire towards the location of the bombs while some manned the guns and took things into their own hands as they leveled it down before attempting to use it as a land based cannon. Meanwhile, in the air the fighter began to dive down and gun down the attacking Ma troops while gun ships flew overhead to pick up the wounded. "Fire in the hole!" One of the soldiers shouted, pulling out a rocket launcher as it returned fire back to the attacking troops. "That was unneeded but ok." A copy of AI commander Aurora said, appearing in a hologram as a drone projected her.

"Prepare for another attack, get the troops healed and dig in. We'll be here for a while" She commanded, the soldiers running off to make makeshift barricades while the gunships began to move lower and lower to patrol the area.
