Fall of the Supreme Authority [IC]

5/9/2069
This day, a spear of light would pierce the darkness shrouding the outside world from the oppressed subjects of the Supreme Authority. The day began as normal, in most places with piercing sirens at 0600 hours. At 1218 hours, a hacktivist group calling themselves the "Nightingales" succeeded in penetrating the ultra-secure SA intranet and accessing the emergency public address subsystem. Although the Unconventional Division would quickly shut down the connection, nearly 57 seconds of their initial message was beamed to nearly every civilian hologram projector and info display in the entire SA, in the SA's own civilian language.
Despite the SA's infamous stranglehold on information and free speech, at least some SA subjects had previous experience with 'enemy' propaganda. Especially those near the border, who would occasionally hear a snippet of a Radio Free SA, TRB, or some other propaganda broadcast before it was quickly squelched by Morale Monitor jammers. Or stumble on the occasional leaflet airdropped by drone, balloon, or even rocket, promising 'fr**d*m', 'l*b*rty', 'd*m*cr*cy', or some combination of the above. Or a fragment of foreign literature smuggled into the SA by the suicidally brave (nearly always with no living relatives subject to retribution). But such 'discoveries' were quickly suppressed. Exposed subjects knew in no uncertain terms to keep the messages to themselves. If such information was particularly well-known or seditious (such as a Bible), local police or Morale Monitors may even conduct a localized purge.
But today's revelations were of an entire new order. In an instant, over 80% of the Supreme Authority civilian population became aware of some of the nation's deepest, darkest secrets. Everything from the brutal realities of SA pediatric military training to the inhuman treatment of SA's lowest slaves. But even this paled in comparison to the revelation of the Council. The faceless, all-knowing, all-powerful Overseer was unmasked as a cartel of twelve tyrants, too cowardly to leave their underground bunker.
Of the Nightingales, little was known. Outside researchers believed that the group was linked to Skyhooked, possibly even based in the semi-anarchic commonwealth. Volkmacht and Arctica-Aleutia were also suspected of providing covert assistance to the Nightingales, though no such link could be proven. But infosec researchers within and without the Supreme Authority agreed on one fact: the hack would have not have been possible without exploiting a backdoor, most likely set up from the inside.

5/10/2069
Industrial production was at its lowest level in fifteen years, even when compared to the Mitteleuropean invasion of 2061. That morning, some subjects simply refused to report to their assignments. The Overseer, the object of their tireless loyalty, service and worship, had been revealed as a fraud. A much higher than usual number of summary executions quickly remedied the sudden truancy, yet many subjects now lacked any motivation beyond fear. Doubts even began to grow in many of the guards. If they were not serving the Overseer, who did they serve? This man named 'O-1', the Supreme Authority, or themselves?

8/16/2069
The past three months had been trying for the Supreme Authority. Though the Council had been able to largely restore order and productivity was trending up, the entire nation remained on edge. Without the Overseer persona, O-1 through O-12 were forced to rule openly. Knowing that the SA system of government depended on a central governing figure, SA's propaganda machine and Morale Monitors had scrambled to instill unconditional obedience to O-1. Needless to say, the rest of the Council were less than pleased with this arrangement.
But today would be a landmark in the history of the Supreme Authority. On this day, Factory Master F017F74D, head of Production Complex Beta-D-21, declared her independence from the Council, beginning by personally shooting and killing her Council-appointed minder. She was in as good a position as feasible for such a move; her factory was one of the SA's main Food production centers. Despite the unpalatable product, F01 had earned a reputation as a relatively even-handed official and an adept administrator, able to maintain consistently high production with far fewer torture sessions and executions than most of her peers. Given Beta-D-21's location near the SA border, the necessity of Food, and her sterling reputation, she had been entrusted with a larger-than-usual defense contingent. In addition, the complex spanned hundreds of square kilometers of megafactories, farms, and smaller structures. It was also heavily fortified against outside attack.
Her declaration was largely welcomed throughout the complex. Especially by the slaves, whom she freed at once. Most of her military personnel pledged their support, with those few who remained loyal to the Council expediently dealt with. After ordering Beta-D-21's anti-missile and anti-air defenses to high alert, she sent a public message to the Council, demanding concessions to civil rights in exchange for continued Food supply. The remainder of the SA reacted with substantial concern.

8/17/2069-8/25/2069
Despite O-3's pleading with O-1 to be allowed diplomacy, O-1 chose to place O-5 in charge of the operation to retake Beta-D-21. As expected, he reacted with considerable force. After all, Supreme Authority had several years’ worth of Food in its reserves, plenty of time to ramp up capacity in other Food factories. Airstrikes pounded the outskirts of Beta-D-21, although the factory's anti-air defenses were able to keep them at bay from the main facilities. Meanwhile, several armored divisions were ordered to Beta-D-21, along with substantial artillery, several regiments of infantry, and four Slayer squads. When F017F74D learned of this, she attempted to request outside assistance from any foreign power she could contact. But the SA had anticipated this, with precision airstrikes against Beta-D-21's communications facilities and broad-spectrum jamming of any radios that remained, along with its complete disconnection from the SA's computer networks and satellites.
After two days, the loyalist contingent had massed near Beta-D-21. Artillery rained down day and night for days, until most of Beta-D-21's static defenses and anti-air batteries were reduced to rubble. O-5 then ordered an invasion in force. Despite the valiant efforts of Beta-D-21's security and defense forces, the factory would fall in under two hours. Making matters even worse, the loyalists had taken higher than expected casualties. The rebels had also managed to sabotage what was left of Beta-D-21's major infrastructure and production equipment, rendering the entire complex virtually impossible to repair. In addition, the Council was forced to withdraw many of its forces from foreign bases around the world, to be available for pacification of the homeland.
As for F017F74D, when the Slayers broke into her office (now transformed into an ersatz bunker), they discovered her dead from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, most likely to avoid the Abyss. They immediately threw her remains into one of the few intact Food production vats to be digested, and abducted the next female subject they encountered, who would be passed off as F01 in the Abyss.

12/4/2069
Factory Master D74653DA, commanding official of the weapons factory Epsilon-A-57, was pacing nervously in his study. He had just received news that his friend and fellow Factory Master A2F4AD94 had been killed in the most recent purge. Ever since F01's abortive attempt at rebellion, all of Supreme Authority's Factory Masters found themselves under substantial scrutiny, even more so than the usual surveillance endemic to the totalitarian dictatorship. D74 knew that with A2F's death, he would find himself on an even tighter leash and under a more powerful microscope than ever. And he knew that somebody, be it the Morale Monitors, the Unconventional Division, or even the Castigators, would undoubtedly find something or other that would seal his fate. He had to act. Reaching through the various secret, unofficial channels known only to high Supreme Authority officials, D74 notified as many Factory Masters as he could trust (a number countable on one hand) to "prepare for trouble, possible tr**s*n or r*b*ll**n."
Many Factory Masters indeed began to marshal their forces during the months to come. Ostensibly to "crush fr**d*m" and "root out s*d*t**n and tr**s*n", but also to save their own skins should the grip of SA's iron fist further slip. As for D74, he was found dead two weeks later, crushed by a bookcase in a freak accident.

2/12/2070
O-1 and O-8 knew that they could not continue purging high Supreme Authority individuals indefinitely. It was a well-known fact among the Council that the most skilled and productive subjects often tended to be the most independent. Up until now, loyalty and fear had served to maintain the regime's hold on even those citizens most endowed with initiative. But the Council's revelation had severely shaken the first of those two pillars. The purges of the last several months had kept the rest in line by fear thus far, and none had attempted treason even remotely comparable to F017F74D. Unfortunately, the purges were beginning to unacceptably impair the available qualified manpower for high-level official positions. After much thought, O-1 decided to send O-12 to tour the most vital SA factories and meet with several Factory Masters. He hoped that a Council member's appearance in the flesh would serve as a living reminder of the Council's rightful rule over all of Supreme Authority and its subjects.
But this was to possibly prove the worst decision of O-1's career.

2/20/2070
O-12 began his tour at Epsilon-A-57. During the past two months, the new Factory Master, AE951C7E, had transformed Epsilon-A-57 into a model of Supreme Authority efficiency and oppression, which would have rivaled even the crown jewels of yesteryear. O-1 had chosen this site deliberately, in hopes that O-12 would have a positive example to share with the other Factory Masters he would meet with during the next two weeks. He was also most confident of O-12's safety in Epsilon-A-57, especially after last December's purge at that facility.
Later that afternoon, after his meeting with AE951C7E, O-12 stepped out wearing his pristine blue jumpsuit onto a balcony overlooking Epsilon-A-57's largest parade ground, to the cheers of the assembled subjects. He was flanked by four Slayers from the Alpha-1/Overseer's Shadow Chapter. But soon after he began his speech, the event took on an entirely different character.
A loud bang echoed throughout the parade ground, from stolen explosives concealed under the balcony. O-12 and his guards fell nearly twenty meters. O-12 was knocked unconscious. However, the unfazed Slayers stood up and unloaded their Impalers into the crowd on full auto, mercilessly cutting down hundreds of men, women, and children in the space of seconds. But this was not the only portion of the conspirators' plan. From nowhere, a makeshift-armored mixing truck plowed onto the parade ground at top speed, spewing quick-dry concrete at the Slayers. It was quickly destroyed, but not before the Slayers were covered in thick layers of rapidly setting industrial concrete. Even their gene-enhanced strength and power armor proved insufficient, and the Slayers were rendered completely helpless.
By now, the survivors of the Slayers' massacre had been joined by hordes of angry subjects. The rampaging mob quickly turned on the immobilized Slayers, prying off their armor with power tools and improvised weapons, and beating to death the superhumans inside. O-12 was soon pulled out the wreckage and immediately dismembered. His head and torso were then dragged through the streets.
As for the guards, police, Morale Monitors, and other law enforcement, many of them had already begun to seriously question the Council's rule for some time. O-12's death was the last straw; indisputable proof, right before their eyes, that the O's could bleed and die like any other mortal man or woman. Many of the guards even joined the mob. Those few who attempted to uphold the Council's rule fared quite poorly in the rapidly spreading riot.

2/21/2070
O-1 was simultaneously crushed and indescribably angered at the news of O-12's ignominious death. After screaming invectives and profanities for a rather undignified period of time, he ordered the latest rebellion crushed with maximum force. But after the napalm-bearing bombers were in the air, he began to receive reports of other rebellions breaking out throughout the SA. After briefly conferring with the remainder of the Council, he came to the conclusion that he could only hope to restore SA to its former tyrannical glory with a clear, graphic and vulgar act of absolute power.
O-1 ordered a tactical nuclear strike.
But during the few minutes between the missile's launch and imminent impact, he realized that the strike would also force those civilian officials and military officers on the fence of loyalty to pick a side. Though he suspected and hoped that most would choose to remain loyal (for survival if no other cause), he knew that the nuclear blast could reveal traitors within the SA military as well. Therefore, he reluctantly ordered O-2 to send a telegram to the Iron Alliance.

Honored Alliance,

I salute your many contributions to multiversal oppression and tyranny during the past years, and am always heartened that there are other noble dictators who stand firm against the darkness of fr**d*m and d*m*cr*cy. But of late, I find myself in need of assistance. An*rch*c rebels have unfortunately grown in number and threat. Due to foreign meddling by the filthy d*m*cr*cies, I am unable to place my full trust in my armed forces. Therefore, I am hereby requesting any governmental or military assistance you may be willing to provide, to fortify the Supreme Authority until such time as our full power may be restored.

We are unyielding! We are unbreakable! We are IRON!

In tyranny,
O-1

General Plato-012
MID Facility Delta-7
Erebos System, Universal Union

The Main Intelligence Directorate had been keeping an eye on the situation developing within the Supreme Authority for some time, its agents observing the descent of the once-mighty regime into anarchy and chaos. In hindsight, such a dramatic failure was more or less inevitable, reflected Plato. The system upon which the Supreme Authority was based was metastable at best, and only required a small push in the right place to send it over the edge into outright collapse.

Now that such a collapse had occurred, swift action must be taken. It was highly likely that enemies of the Overseer Council would attempt to capitalise on this weakness, spreading their plague of so-called freedom and democracy to the populace. The Universal Union had no intention of allowing its enemies to take root in a former ally, and thus an intervention had been deemed necessary. Current projections indicated that it was highly unlikely that the current government of the Supreme Authority would be able to survive this conflict, and even if they did, they would be greatly weakened and unable to effectively stand against powers such as Skyhooked or the UNASAA.

So it was decided that a different approach was required: rather than merely propping up a failing regime, a strategy which history had debunked countless times, they would carefully work to create a new one, one that would serve Union interests. This collapse provided a rare opportunity for the spread of socialist ideas to an unenlightened populace, and allow for the growth of Union influence within the multiverse. Of course, this could not be done openly. The other members of the Iron Alliance would be unlikely to accept such internal intrigue, and it was predicted that they would instead choose to assist the Overseers. So, the Union must at least appear to join its fellow member-states in this endeavour, even as their agents moved to subvert the old order and bring about a new red era.

This would certainly not be easy, but Plato had faith that they would triumph. The Supreme Authority would be restored to its status as a bulwark against the tides of anarchism and societal decay, this time under the red banner, and the Union would be stronger than ever. To accomplish this task, the Supreme Soviet itself had assigned him command of Operation Syzygy, and five divisions of the People's Armed Police. Thankfully, O-1 himself had requested that the Alliance provide military aid, thus allowing the Union to justify the deployment of the armed forces. Said deployment was scheduled to occur within a few hours, and then the game would truly begin.

Corrupt Dictatorship

Postby Kyoki Chudoku » Fri Sep 15, 2017 6:55 pm

Her clothes were still stained with blood by the time she sat down at her computer. She'd made a token effort to clean them off, but honestly couldn't be bothered these days unless there was a diplomatic event or something. "Stress relief", as she called it, seemed to grow less and less relieving, and the world just got ever more stressful.

The situation in the Supreme Authority was perhaps the most stressing. Aozora admired how well they had established tyranny, how much control they had over their population, how powerful they were. Yet it seemed like their greatest enemy had arrived, to bring chaos and destruction. Freedom, that most persistent and hated of foes, had struck.

She'd just gotten word of the death of O-12. Time zones being what they were, she'd been occupied at the time of the event, and only after awaking had she discovered the horrific spectacle. A body, torn apart and dragged across the streets by an anarchic rabble of dissenters. It made her feel such anger and frustration. Now, she was going to examine the situation in-depth.

She noticed she'd received a message, and took a look at it. It was from O-1, who had sent the telegram to the entire Iron Alliance. The message was very patriotic, as always. Praising the dictators for their commitment to tyranny. Requesting assistance due to being "unable to place my full trust in my armed forces". That was very concerning. The Supreme Authority had such devotion to tyranny and control. If they couldn't trust their own soldiers...

She read those last words.

"We are unyielding! We are unbrekaable! We are IRON!"

But...no. We will not break. We shall not yield. We are iron, and we shall not allow these pathetic filthy freedom-loving democracies to interfere any longer. These rebels must be crushed! Order and tyranny restored!

She got up from the computer, and called a meeting of what Densetsu she could. Kurushimk was available, as were Sawagi and Naosu. The rest were all occupied at the time. It was fairly early.

After a few minutes, the meeting began.

"O-1 has requested the assistance of the Iron Alliance. They're...dealing with a mass of traitors. It's getting out of hand. Of course we're going to support our allies, but...we need to determine what to send." said the Supreme Overlady of All Reality.

"We have our specialised divisions available. However, I see little that they'd be good for. Gomon Hito, Iruka and Kawase are all very specialised units, too small in number to be effective here. There's no exotic hostile environments for the Hostile Environment Brigade, I don't think flamethrower will be of much help, and our other groups aren't meant for direct combat. That just leaves our standard forces and Sasayaki no Chikara, our largest and least specialised special forces group." said Kurushimi. She was looking over few reports as she spoke.

"Biological warfare is not useful here. Far too much collateral damage." commented Naosu, the resident medical expert. "The same would apply to most of our projects. That includes Project
Shihai."

Project Shihai....Project Lotus. Our collaborations with the SA. I wonder if they've tried Bookkeepers...I don't think there's many of those though.

It was now Sawagi's turn to speak.

"I'm with Kurushumi. Send a detachment of our special forces, and some standard units. Maybe an armoured division. And include some tenshi."

"The risk," began Naosu once more, "is a psychological one. If our forces include tenshi, they are more likely to be effective. However, should our enemies defeat them, they will no longer fear our arcane capabilities. In this situation, that is a disadvantage. When they do not fear us, they will become a violent mob, recklessly and fanatically attacking regardless of the cost of them. Many of them most likely have little to lose should they themselves die for their cause."

Aozora thought. It was hard. She had to protect the Supreme Authority as best as she could. Help put an end to this rebellion. Restore tyranny and order and justice and authority. Otherwise...she didn't want to think about it.

"Alright. I'll prepare a message. Thank you. Dismissed for now."

She wrote. When she was done, she grabbed her scythe and went straight back to the torture chambers. She needed more stress relief.

O-1,

I've heard your request for assistance. Of course I'll be supplying as much aid as I can. I plan to dispatch some special forces units, some standard Chudokuren troops, and some armoured forces. In addition, there will be some military tenshi dispatched as well. Hopefully this proves enough to aid in the subjugation of the rebel threat.

I'm going to be honest. I'm extremely worried. We have to restore tyranny and defeat this insurrection as soon as possible. Sadly, none of our secret weapons really fit this situation. I have to ask about the pain projectors, because they might be useful, but I don't know if they're practical for military use at the moment.

We shall make these traitors pay.

In tyranny,
Love, Aozora

Preparations to Medieval fair were at their full swing, when the news about serious internal problems in Supreme Authority finally reached Skyhooked. Those news spreaded like a wildfire on all territories, from main island to colonies in faraway lands, and sparked intense discussions on all levels. Reasons, opportunities, risks and possible consequences, together with all kinds of theories were debated everywhere. From bars and garages to governmental establishments and the ruling council itself. There were ideas to celebrate this too.

However despite obvious failing of their arch nemesis, it was a bit too early for additional celebration. Many agreed, that this was just a part of something larger, but what parties are involved, and what will happen was yet to be discovered. But whether this was good or bad, all media sources wrote almost only about two things. Pending Medieval fair, and Sureme authority.

Meanwhile in capitol.

-"Okay, partners. We need more souvenir swords for the following regions: New Sodom, Vulpesia county, especially Foxstone city, and El Baldio desert. Last case is worse, since they need scimitars. Also, we need to clear Molenta castle from vermin. It was supposed to be a five star hotel from thousands of rich tourists. It has to have medieval vibe, but rats, roaches and bedbugs make it a bit TOO medieval. Also, we need more experts in Korean culture. Gotta make the scripts for fair in annexed North Korea less far-fetched."- Stan Dixon

-"Yeah, man. Also there is a shortage of beer in four colonies in Africa. Enogh for regular life, but hardly can satisfy even small festival. At least, we recieved a message from our sources, that Supreme Authority screwed up totally. Those "Nightingales" hackers did a damn fine job, which exceeded even our boldest expectations. Let's drink for that, and reward the hacker group "Bison", which was ordered to aid "Nightingales" with our advanced hacking software. From now, they recieve triple payment and free drinks for their entire lives. And Agent Blackbird, since it was his initiative to contact them." -Casey James

-"But I suspect, that it's not all simple. One hack couldn't crumble such totalitarian system..."-Stan Dixon

-"It's possible, since it was probably all bureaucracy chocked and weakened with thought of it's total safety. Yet, the reports of our field agents and scouts clearly indicate, that possibly there are other sides. Maybe even such, which can make SA look like an innocent sheep in comparisson to them."-Casey James

-"But let's not give up a pleasure to sack this tyrant, due to suspicions. We need to prepare Capital Minutemen, Los Escorpiones, Kabanarian rangers, and others for the fight, we wanted for all our life."- Stan Dixon

Back in entire Skyhooked.

Military was preparing for an assault on the Supreme Authority. From elite professionals, to militia, soldiers thought about sacking the place, killing slavers, and avenging many victims. They imagined themselves celebrating their victory together with freed slaves, being rewarded, and then celebrating, like never before. Such thoughts made them extremely motivated, and their morale skyrocketed. They waited for the order to attack.
Skyhooked is MT/PMT with a few FT elements. Military is factbook only. NS stats are mostly non canon.

"The state of Supreme Authority, henceforth referred to as the State, pose a series of unique challenges (...) Should it fall, it would change the world as we know it; Wether through a biological armageddon (See appendix 1A) or a total war with UNSAA (...) To avoid this, this council strongly recommended that a special unit should be set aside to deal with eventualities (See contingency plan Axiom)"
Excerpt from [REDACTED] regarding the entity known as Supreme Authority, whose conclusions lead to the formation of Task Force Axiom

"The message uses the same encryption key, same level of encryption, was sent through the proper channels and from the regular network; The message is confirmed to be authentic" Most of the men that made up the King's War Council listened in stunned silence as the head of Royal Intelligence read up the information confirming what they already knew to be true; That they day they had all both feared and seen as too far-fetched to really consider had come. The mighty Supreme Authority was shaking in its jackboots, the ultimate proof that people could rise up no matter what, and turning to increasingly violent meassures that would probably just encourage an already angry population that the time to strike was now... Something had to be done, and fast, before UNSAA pounced at the opportunity to take down their sworn enemy.

The room was filled with high-ranking generals of the army, air marshals from the airforce and admirals from the navy, as well as various representatives from the intelligence agencies and the special forces community, all assembled to give the King advice regarding war and how to make his decree come true. The room they were in was old, with heavy oak furniture everywhere, old swords hanging from the walls and an old map of the country almost covering one of the walls. It helped with making the seriousness of the situation sink in further, but it also made the high-tech monitor on the wall opposed to the table look positively alien.

"Gentlemen." The king's voice was as calm and even as always, but everyone felt the determination radiating off of him, and the debates that had fired up arround the table quieted down all but immediatly. "There is nothing left to discuss here. The one piece that was missing during the last session have now come; An official call for help. And Sardova shall answer, with fire and iron, until there are no-one left to oppose us. Assemble the task force and begin preparations for a war economy. The time has come." The High King sat back in his chair, looking at the emotions written on the faces of those present. Shock from the new information, fear about what was to come, some even thrilled about what was to come. The King nodded solemnly to himself. He could understand them to some degree, for declaring a war was never easy, but he had to act as was expected of his station.. And the enemies of the alliance shall burn.

Awithan space
N'eviars Hydra

An Awithan was sitting in the communications room awaiting the emperor.
N'eviar walked with some guards.

"I have urgent news emperor" the Awithan said

"What is it?" N'eviar said

"Our Iron Alliance friends need help Emperor"
"The iron alliance still exist? Which nation needs help?" N'eviar questioned him awaiting the answer

"Supreme authority I assume is asking for help"

"Well," he thought for a second "send a Commando platoon and a Bio-corps compan and the cryo-corps and a platoon of scouts to accompany them" N'eviar ordered him.
The Awithan would write everything down

"Yes emperor, I will began the preparations now" the Awithan would walk out of the room.

N'eviar couldn't believe it. The Iron Alliance still alive after of these years it felt like he was in stasis for years...
N'eviar sighed.

The Awithan officer would gather the soldiers to deploy. They would all walk to the transports to get ready for the voyage. A small fleet would accompany them to the Supreme authority.
One of the soldiers sighed "hopefully this is easy I don't feel like staying there long"
"I agree" another soldier piped up.

The light reflected off a white uniform with a golden trim, the Awithan commissar was here and he walked down to the barracks followed by a group of engineers who would inspect the inspect the weapons and armor to make sure that there wasn't any defects on the armor or weapons.

Feet first into hell

Slaurvik Military Airport
The engines of the transport planes roared to life once all the shoulders from the first batch of troops had boarded, and now that all their equipment securely stored away and they were securely strapped into their seats, there was nothing to do but wait for the landing. Everyone had long ago found their own way to deal with boredom when they were on the ground, which was the only way they got through hours after hours sitting on a mountain top and counting trucks or while they were waiting for the plane to ready up. Some brewed their own coffee, some played baseball, but neither of those were really availible on a plane, so most simply followed the age-old infantry rule: Sleep while you can

The men and women currently on their way to Supreme Authority were all of Sardova' Special Services 1st batallion, in addition to the ready-company from 3rd batallion as the rest were on exercise. All the batallions had been kept at ready-to-deploy readiness the moment Supreme Authority showed signs of cracking, but extended durations without leave and constant preparedness had an adverse affect on the units long-term, and so it was lifted when it was assumed that the SA would hold it together - Sadly that was no longer guaranteed.

As they neared their destination, a message was sent out asking for a safe place to land.

Slaurvik Military Airport
Sardova High Command had, as was to be expected, decided to stick to the plan that had been outlined in the warplan. After all, things were not as dire as they had feared, and outright clashes has not been reported to any significant degree.

The 2nd and 8th armoured divisions were currently mustered and sent to the harbour the sealift group was assembling in, preparing to meet up with the 3rd carrier battlegroup for protection. The 43rd Airborne Guards Batallion was placed on high readiness, to prepare for the eventual need for a QRF.

Meanwhile the 2nd carrier group sat sail towards SA, to support the ongoing operations from the sea.
Aditionally, assault submarines started lurking nearby, to look for anything hostile.

Megatron grinned to himself while relaxing on his golden Cybertonium throne. As much as he was an ally of O-1, even he would admit that this was a prime opportunity to annex some more territory. Convert the citizens to Technoism and unify them as long as they were allowed to put in a puppet government. Who knows? Maybe the Supreme Authority would become even more brutal and authoritarian somehow? He knew that he was the epitome of justice; only mechanoid lifeforms deserved life, after all - at least that was display in the edicts of the Grand Cybertronian Jurisprudence. His best and brightest advisors - High Lords Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave, General Onslaught and the Phase-Sixer Heretech - stood at his side, ready to advise his next decision.

Megatron stopped grinning, stood up and walked to the centre of the hall. Banners bearing the Decepticon insignia adorned the gargantuan room that towered above even the Cybertronians. They were a testament to Megatron's victory over the Autobots; a testament to the murder of Guardian Prime, and a testament to their undying rule over Cybertron... at least, as long as the Autobots don't retake it. Eradicon guards stood as silent as mice, though they secretly bore a deep-seated fear of both him and the High Lords. Each and every one of the High Lords could easily murder an Eradicon out of anger or even just for a laugh if they wanted to; they were very, very much capable of that strength-wise. Their guest from Segatopia - who was intended to accompany them on their quest to annex the Supreme Authority, or what remains of it - was to arrive soon.

Megatron looked at two Eradicons to his right and started to walk towards them. “You two,” Megatron ordered. “Find Majin Sonic.”

The two Eradicons nodded, but just as they were about to travel through the space bridge to Neo-Tokyo, Segatopia – where the God-Emperor of Segatopia’s palace is located – Majin Sonic teleported into the High Pavilions, frightening the two guards. In many ways, Majin Sonic was similar to Sonic the Hedgehog: dark blue fur, and he adorns white gloves. However, his face was heavily distorted, resembling Dali, and a black and dark red aura always seemed to radiate from his corporeal form. He walked over to the High Lords, who towered over him. Suddenly, Majin Sonic seemed to grow in size, until he eventually rivalled Starscream in height, so roughly half a head smaller than Megatron.

"Megatron..." Majin Sonic began. He spoke with a dark, fierce, menacing baritone unlike that of Sonic the Hedgehog, which had long "evolved". "When are we to depart for this "Supreme Authority"?"

"Soon, Majin Sonic..." Megatron responded.

Soundwave typed a message into one of the Pavilions' many supercomputers, requesting access to the now-devastated Supreme Authority, and specifically, a safe place to arrive, away from the civil war.

Code: Select all
From: Soundwave, Communications Officer; High Lord
To: O-1, Overseer of the Supreme Authority
Encryption: High

To whom this may concern,

My name is Soundwave: Communications Officer of the Cybertronian Empire; writing this from the High Pavilions in Iacon, a country on the planet Cybertron. We request access to the Supreme Authority, specifically a safe place to arrive, away from the chaos of the ongoing civil war. We are interested in travelling to your nation in regards to the civil war, as it would be in our best interests to do so. You may respond either by sending a message back or via hologram.

We are awaiting your response.

We are unyielding! We are unbreakable! We are IRON!
Soundwave

Soundwave stood up and bowed to Megatron and Majin Sonic, the Condor Laserbeak perched on his shoulder, like how a parrot would sit on a pirate. "Lord Megatron, Lord Majin Sonic, I have sent a message to the Council to request access to arrive at the Supreme Authority. Upon O-1's response, I shall activate the space bridge for your departure. I've pandered to their beliefs to elicit a positive response."

"Good work, Soundwave. It's good to know that there's still useful, non-complacent Decepticons here, unlike some..." Megatron complimented, shifting his optics darkly at Legonis, Octus and Seizer, who cackled to themselves, devouring popcorn and guzzling insane quantities Engex and Nightmare Fuel while watching the newest gladiatorial combat in Helex between the Decepticon Quake and the Autobot Tap-Out. Up next would be a bunch of Protoformers fighting to the death. Apparently, the group of Maximal gladiators would be led by Optimus Minor of Protohex and the group of Predacon gladiators would be led by Queen Rage of Triax. It would be vital for the Decepticons to have the Supreme Authority fall apart even further, so that they could put in place a Technoist government. Hell, O-1 could even rule over it if he was compliant with them.

Now, all they had to do was to await the Council's response and then enact their plans for conquest, whether by coercion or by force...

Skyhookedian troops prepared for the massive assault and departed to the Supreme Authority as soon as government finally gave them a signal. Lots of soldiers and militiamen departed to Supreme Authority, together with all other factions and clans. But not only military personell went there. Many scientists accompanied them, so they could study all the technologies they could find. It took many resources and half of the Squids fleet to transport them to the ending point. Few large commercial vessels also transported needed food, building materials and other necessary things for long operation.

Especially hard was to transport the Giant scorpion. It was dismantled in large parts, which will be assembled on arrival. That was alomost like colonization.

Attacking forces had extremely high morale, due to oncoming fighting one of the worst enemies not only of Skyhooked, but also of all free world. Casey James and Stan Dixon went to the operation themselves too, so they would settle this close and personally.

A large fleet of all kinds of ships, supported with massive amount of aircraft was moving towards the hostile lands, carefully checking for all kinds of threats.

Lucky Wells' Office
Paul Kitimbaya,de facto Vice President of Atkemri bust though the doors of Lucky Wells' office "LUCKY THE SA IS ON FIRE!" Lucky would be woken up with a start as he was sleeping calmly. Lucky would look up jaw dropped in awe and wonder as the ultimate chance to spread freedom was dropped in front of him. "Paul we have the chance of a lifetime here this is a prime opportunity. Now we must assist the dissenters covertly. We will send our military without any indication of them being Atkemrian. No flags,no well known generals, and most importantly no connection to the UNASAA you understand? We can not have a war between the UNASAA and the IA. I want you to contact Skyhooked and tell them that we will help them in their assault except they will look like members of their army or mercenaries or something. " Paul would shake his head in agreement and prepare the army making contact with Skyhooked as well.

Damn right. We accept your help, just come in. The more people there are, the better is the party. You will get your share of loot if you perform well. Just be sure, that our troops arrived to their positions, we need to coordinate our attack for maximum efficiency.

Also, we need to know, what is the name of the mercenary group, you are pretending to be, so we won't confuse with some other faction.

Government House, Citadel Plaza, Citadel, Arctica-Aleutia

In a meeting room sat a long table, attended by numerous generals, advisors, governors, legislators, scientists, and guild leaders, not to mention the President himself. President Wyatt Wizzard II wore his usual military outfit, and had a cold, serious look on his face. Muttered conversation bounced around the table.

Wyatt: "Calm down and stop bickering. We need to consider this carefully. This may well be our only chance to put an end to the Supreme Authority, and perhaps even some of its more unsavory allies. The SA is weak, and if we are to strike we must strike now. And yet if we don't weigh the options we could find ourselves destroyed.

Tank commander Townsend, veteran of the ongoing Eurasian War and one of Wyatt's key advisors, spoke up in his usual Scottish accent. "We've gone over this mess more times than can be counted, even if the exchange's been heated. Normally we'd have the resources to commit to a land and aerial invasion with the help of our allies, but this Eurasia business is straining us as it is."

Fleet Admiral Joseph Blackguard interjected. "You said it yourself, Townsend, we have the help of our allies."

Townsend: "They're caught up with Eurasia too."

Blackguard: "They barely have any of their forces there and you know it. They can win a war against SA with us. For crying out loud, that nation's such a menace I'm willing to bet that some of our sworn enemies will want to lend a hand.

Townsend: "I was in the Arctic campaign! I led a tank through freezing marshland hundreds of miles to Murmansk! I saw half the world burn! I'm not sending any more men to die like that!"

Blackguard: "Why, you old - "

"Enough," Wyatt snapped. "I have the authority to make this decision without any of your input. Now, either look me in the eye and lay out your arguments one by one or get out of my sight." There was an unusual fire in his eyes.

Before anyone could respond, a man in an orange parka kicked open the door, two guards struggling to hold him back. "Townsend!"

"Let him in," Townsend sighed, and they released him. "What do you want, McManus?" he hissed.

McManus: "The people are about to riot out there, sir! It's like they were born for war!" He spoke with an Irish accent.

Wyatt: "Well, I guess that settles it. Given our enemy here I think it would be hypocritical to ignore the will of the people."

Blackguard: "Hold it! You don't even know this man! I'm all for war here, but are you really making a decision based on what he says?!"

Townsend: "The man's name is McManus, and he served as one of my gunners in Murmansk. He's more irritable than the Devil himself, but I'd trust him with my life."

Blackguard: "If he's more irritable than you, I'll eat my hat, you - "

Wyatt: "ENOUGH!" He pounded his fist on the table and everyone fell silent. "I've made my personal decision. I am in favor of war."

A grin crossed both Blackguard and Townsend's faces, as if they had forgotten they were just arguing. But then Blackguard's faltered.

Blackguard: "I thought you were going to consult our allied leaders before you committed to - "

Wyatt: "Already done. America, Canada, and South Korea have all honored my call. Russia's even extended an offer of support."

Townsend: "Russia?!?!" His face went pale.

Wyatt: "Something wrong, Commander?"

Townsend: "No, just... surprised, that's all..."

Wyatt: "I can understand. They've been our enemy for quite sometime. But the SA is a threat to us all. The whole globe would probably join if they didn't fear retaliation."

Blackguard: "Hold on, hold on, you sound like you've been gearing up for war all along!"

Wyatt: "I like to prepare for all possible outcomes."

An official declaration of war was sent to The Twelve.

High Earth Orbit

The Dreadnought Murderer's Dogma hovered in High Earth ORbit over the former Territory of the Supreme Authority, looking down upon a once powerful nation which dominated the minds of so many, turning them into simple pawns unable to rebel. All of that had changed when a series of rebellions had struck the nation, then came the day the government fell, and so came the Rykilians. The Plan was simple, take all technology that interested them, take a slice of Supreme Authority territory and create a Puppet state to act as an Embassy unto the Earth, then who knows what would happen next. They prepared Drop-Guns to set up a base of operations on the planet below while using the Dreadnought as the true Operations base. Kultaris himself was to oversee this, as other nations held up their atrophied hands and were greedily scrabbling at what remained of the once mighty Regime.

Initiating Drop Pod Launch, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

A grout roar was heard as fifteen Drop Pods made their way down to the remains of the Supreme Authority, singing a banshee scream as they fell from the Heavens.

Leonard Raxus's Private Residence

Leonard Raxus, a frail old man, sat cross legged in a large empty room. A giant window overlooked the vast moutain range, and the dense fog blocked any light from entering. Raxus was reading about how the Intergalactic Fruit Corporation genocided an entire native species, just to harvest the planets fruit peacefully. Of course this information was top secret and only Raxus and the Federal Board were able to read it. A man walked into the room, and stood in front of the couch. The Chairman put down the holopad and looked up. The man spoke nervously and on edge.

"Mr. Chairman, we have just received word from our informants that Supreme Authority, a notable IA member state, is in a civil war. The civilian populace and some of the army have risen up against the Government. Orders, sir? Or do you wish to hold an emergency Board Meeting?"

Raxus sipped his water and shook his head.

"That won't be necessary. Take my words as a direct command from the Office of the Supreme Chairman. I want a fleet to jump to Earth immediately, and set up the shield gate. Do not let any other intergalactic force deploy forces onto Earth. That is all."

The man bowed and scuttled out of the room. Raxus slowly got up, and walked to the large window. He looked out at the mountains, and put his hands behind his back.

"This is the beginning of the end of the Iron Alliance. Soon all who oppose me will be gone, and total Commercian supremacy will be achieved."

Commercian Fleet Command

A battle droid typed the words 'ready for jump' onto a monitor. A fleet of two Assertor class Star Dreadnoughts and 4 Providence class Destroyers, and a few frigates carrying strange construction parts were assembled and prepared to jump to hyperspace. Before any of them did, a message was sent to Higher Japan, an ally.

Postby Supreme Authority » Sun Sep 17, 2017 12:45 pm

2/22/2070
As the ashes continued to dissipate from what was once Weapons Factory Epsilon-A-57, the Council was flooded with messages from various military commanders. Many pledged their continued allegiance, vowing to eradicate fr**d*m by any means necessary. Others decided that continued allegiance with the Supreme Authority would lead to their own destruction. And some military groups were never heard from at all. By all appearances, the once mighty Supreme Authority military was breaking into factions, as various traitor officers banded together for mutual protection. Some were even beginning to impose their rule on civilian facilities and the remaining Factory Masters.
Meanwhile, somewhere deep under the earth, the heated discussion continued at the Council bunker's main conference table. O-12's seat remained conspicuously absent.
"We need to press our momentum! Keep nuking all who dare to oppose us!" thundered O-5, pounding the table.
"Absolutely not!" roared O-3. "If we continue nuclear strikes on our own territory, we'll have nothing left! The d*m*cr*cies will finish us."
"The murder of O-12 cannot go unpunished!" screamed O-4. "We can't let our subjects kill us! O-5, keep launching the missiles, put them in their place for good!"
"SILENCE!" shouted O-1. At once, the arguments died down. "Here is what we shall do. O-5, the Citadel remains most loyal, correct?"
"Yes, O-1. Over 90% of our military assets within 100 kilometers of the Citadel have sworn loyalty to you."
"We shall regroup our loyal forces around the Citadel. The Supreme Authority must survive. When the Citadel remains strong, then we, with the help of the Iron Alliance, shall break the back of the rebels once and for all! O-5, stop nuclear launches immediately. However, you may continue strategic and saturation bombardments, against rebel civilian and military targets."

2/23/2070
The Iron Alliance was responding to O-1's call. Already, the Universal Union of Panhumanity, and Kyoki Chudoku had promised their support. The UUoP was deploying five divisions of military police. O-3 asked that they land near the Capital, to assist in maintaining order and free up military personnel for the shifting frontlines. The Chudokuren force was supplemented by Supreme Authority fast-attack units, and would be used as a rapid-reaction force to crush any resistance holdouts near the Capital and quickly respond to rebel incursions. Per Aozora's suggestion, O-6 authorized the immediate deployment of the experimental Banshee units. Although they were too fragile for frontline combat, they were extremely effective as tools of repression.

3/2/2070
The so-called Enclave was rapidly taking shape. Spanning a few hundred kilometers in width, it represented the single largest concentration of loyal Supreme Authority might, under the sole command of the Council. The vast majority of Supreme Authority had fallen into lawlessness, but the various traitor factions were beginning to consolidate their gains. It was only their warring among each other that allowed the Enclave to coalesce and dig in for the hard years to come.
By now, reinforcements from Sardova and Awitha had arrived. Sardova was beginning to challenge the rebel remnants of the SA navy, keeping them from coastal bombardment of the Enclave. Given their clear naval prowess, O-5 requested their deployment near Port Gamma-D-6, the largest port facility within the Enclave. It was far too close to the front for comfort, and its loss would significantly cripple the SA's remaining ability to project power. Awitha's contribution was interesting as well; several different types of commandos. O-5 chose to distribute some of the loyalist Slayers among them, to form joint task forces capable of accomplishing critical missions in rebel territory.
Thankfully, the majority of the Slayers had remained loyal, thanks to their inhuman conditioning. The Heart Controller override codes were activated for all known rebel Slayers. Many died as their twin hearts were ruined from overvoltage. But the Fifth Column had long since discovered a means to disable this override, and had made it publicly available. Therefore, there were still quite a few surviving rebel Slayers. Although some of them would pledge themselves to one rebel faction or another, most of the rebel Slayers were rumored to be selling their services to the highest bidder as soldiers of fortune.

3/3/2070
O-2 received a telegram from Soundwave of Pax Cybertronian. O-1 authorized them to land deep within the Capital, where they should be safe. Unfortunately, none present knew of the rebel Slayer team that had staked out this particular landing strip...

3/6/2070
O-1 swore in frustration. Just when he believed the situation could have not become worse, it did. Their arch-rival Skyh**k*d declared war on the Supreme Authority, followed shortly by Arct*ca-Al*utia. Both nations were deploying large hostile forces. And another nation, Rykil, was deploying troops as well. None of the Council had any idea what they wanted.
But O-1 saw an opportunity. Paging O-2, he composed an open video message.
Code: Select all
The d*m*cr*tic evils of Skyh**ked and Arct*ca-Al*utia have declared war on us. They are but vermin, who feast on the decay of other nations! Your r*b*ll*on is a disgrace to the Supreme Authority, and all of humanity. You would sooner permit the human race to suffer for eternity under the yoke of fr**d*m and l*b*rty, than serve my righteous authority! I have made the Supreme Authority strong, and your tr**s*n has made it weak! But even still, you have an opportunity to stand against the vile forces of d*m*cr*cy, who dare to l*b*r*te our valued subjects. Put aside your differences, and exterminate the d*m*cr*tic invaders from the face of the planet!
And I announce this to the entire multiverse. Know that if this last remnant, this last Enclave of the true Supreme Authority is to fall, we shall unleash Dust upon the world. I would sooner grant humanity the mercy of extinction than permit it to suffer the evils of fr**d*m. This is a promise.

Large Skyhookedian fleet, accompanied with massive amount of aircraft was getting closer, and so far met only little resistance.

Meanwhile, Freeloaders agents, who arrived already, since they were sent individually, and didn't have to lover speed for the slower units, and could go at full speed, started to scout the areas, which were planned to be the starting points for assault. They infiltrated various factions in the settlements, and learned about local situation, potential presence of other powers, and their possible attitude to Skyhookedian force. Situation is chaotic, so the Agency and command had to process tones of updates.

Most of the officers and captains were confused, so they just kept togehter in a few bigger groups in case of possible encounter of large pockets of hostile forces, rather than splitting in many smaller for surgical strikes.

Meanwhile, the "Galactic lady" spaceship was partially renovated, so it could fly right now. However it's use was limited to transportation and deployment of elite squads for surgical strikes, since it's orbital bombardment cannons were out of order due to severe failure. So they were dismantled. Ship captain and the governemnt decided not to use them in this war, realizing all possible consequences of using unstable equipment.

General Plato-012
USV Ashes to Ashes
High Orbit, Supreme Authority Aerospace

The modified Redeemer-pattern Medium Siege Vessel dropped into 3-space high above the Supreme Authority, carrying within it General Plato-012 and his forces. Unlike most MSVs, the Ashes to Ashes was designed for providing ground support to friendly worlds, and had thus replaced its usual complement of thirty Stalingrad-pattern Superheavy Orbital Insertion Vehicles with more conventional transports. Following the escalation of the situation, the Supreme Soviet Militant had decided that a couple of divisions of Armed Police, who were primarily suited to dealing with rioting civilians, would be insufficient, and had thus provided Operation Syzygy with an entire field corps of twenty thousand soldiers of the People's Red Army, along with armoured and air support. The Operation had however retained the original contingent of military police, it would still be necessary to pacify the populace.

This was certainly more than Plato had expected, the situation on the surface must be more dire than anticipated. He watched in silent contemplation as the SSTO transport departed from the main hangar, bound for the Citadel, carrying within it a displacer targeting beacon. It was inconvenient to land an entire army via dropship, so instead a single ship was sent, carrying a device that would allow for the accurate targeting of the vessel's displacer, a device that normally had an inaccuracy of roughly a hundred kilometres. The beacon would allow for the portal to be opened at a precise point, preventing them from disembarking in a random, strategically unsound location.

So too were the aerial forces deployed, the brilliant glare of fusion engines filling the black void as the arrowhead shapes of Mk-35 Multirole Fighters emerged from the Ashes to Ashes, their sights set on the surface. The General predicted that their assistance would prove vital for the success of the operation, it was a well-known fact that whoever controlled the skies controlled the battlefield, and whoever controlled the battlefield was the victor. Other aspects of the air force unsuited for exoatmospheric flight would be deployed via portal, the Mk-60 Ground Attack Aircraft would likely play an equally important role in the coming conflict to drive the invading vultures from the Supreme Authority.

A message was relayed to the Overseers, help had arrived. Now it simply remained to be seen if it was enough.

"Lord Megatron, Lord Sonic, they have responded positively," Soundwave reported. "We will arrive inside deep inside of the capital."

"Excellent work, Soundwave!" Megatron complimented. "Now then! Start up the Space Bridge; we'll move to their capital at once! The Supreme Authority will fall to us soon enough!"

Soundwave nodded and walked over to the controls of the supercomputer. He quickly typed in a code and a purple circular vortex appeared in the centre of a bridge. Megatron then proceeded to order Starscream, Sixshot, Overlord, Lugnut, Heretech, Soundwave, Knock Out, Caimano and several of his Inquisition Officers (Ravage, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Rumble, Frenzy and Squawkbox) and Scorponok to accompany him.

Majin Sonic folded his arms and glared at the portal calmly. "Mortals are meant to be lesser to the divine... Let us see if they don't possess delusions of grandeur. That'll merely worsen their chances of survival... and for our benefit," Majin Sonic mused. "Will we, if possible, outright invade the Supreme Authority?"

"Yes, but not now. Not while we're trying to curry favour with the SA and manipulate them into seceding control to us," Megatron confirmed.

"Also, would it not be sufficient to bring ourselves a bounty hunter along with our initial party?"

"No, no, Majin Sonic," Megatron responded. "There's no need. I'll probably bring in Lockdown and Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus if it gets rough. You can send someone from Segatopia whenever." Majin Sonic then nodded affirmatively and looked towards the portal.

"Let's go, Decepticons... and Majin Sonic," Megatron shouted valiantly, and off they all went to the capital. Soundwave had chosen as close a spot to the palace where the Council resided, but also as safe and secluded as possible.

The 3,000 marines would separate from the Skyhooked forces. They would give the Skyhooked commanders radios to contact them if needed later. They would go looking for a point for a larger invasion where they would reunite with Skyhooked forces.

At President Inguo Hayo's orders, two thousand soldiers of the Civil Defense Forces were immediately scrambled and placed on high alert. The air force was rapidly given enough fuel and weapons for the journey to Supreme Authority.

President Inguo Hayo addressed the nation on live TV.

"People of Volkmacht, the time has come to rid the world of a evil threat. The evil spectre of slavery and dictatorship shall be destroyed by the will of the free world. As I speak, Terraen military forces are beginning military operations against the Supreme Authority, which has suffered a catastrophic loss of government due to the people hearing the call of freedom and wishing to heed that call. Our enemy is dying of a terminal illness and we will drop the anvil"

As President Hayo spoke, military aircraft was leaving Terraen airspace and entering the restricted airspace of Supreme Authority. Several bombs, some loaded with napalm and some loaded with a electromagnetic pulse, was dropped on The Citadel, the Supreme Authority's capital.

At the same time, wearing HAZMAT suits, CDF ground forces made landfall on the highly-polluted and toxic beaches of Supreme Authority, preparing for some intense fighting. They, too, were armed with EMP rifles to destroy the mechanical Slayers. Their mission: liberate any slaves they find, destroy chemical weapons facilities and detain the leadership for trial in Freiheit for crimes against humanity.

Northwest of Resinburg, Arctica-Aleutia

Wyatt had left the capital for his own mountain home, accompanied by Townsend, Blackguard, and McManus. Townsend was at a computer console.

Townsend: "Sir! You better take a look at this." It was the video message from the SA.

It was certainly concerning. Arctica-Aleutian intelligence had little data on Dust, but it was clear that it was the ultimate superweapon. Arctica-Aleutia was in another universe, so it might be unaffected. On the other hand, it would wipe out any nations sharing SA's planet. Given the SA's goal of multiversial tyranny, it was possible that it would somehow reach Arctica-Aleutia.

Wyatt: *sigh*... "Hypocrites as always. They claim to be trying to preserve humanity, but would destroy it if they were to fall. Someone get the government of Skyhooked on the line. We need to coordinate our attack here. And I want someone to find out everything they can about Dust!"

A message was sent to Skyhooked:
To the Skyhookedian government:

As you know, we have found ourselves on the same side in this war against the Supreme Authority. So far my military has begun trying to take one of their outlying agricultural complexes, one known to have rebelled in the past. We would like to know what actions you are taking, so that we can better coordinate our efforts.

- President Wyatt Wizzard II of Arctica-Aleutia

A first cluster of Skyhookedian forces finally arrived to the Supreme Authority territories. South if to be percise. They arrived near small port town, and started to deploy their first base. They formed a large camp near the town, and built basic barricades around it. Kabanarian rangers took their hidden positions around, watching for any activity near, Los Escorpiones and El Baldio nomads checked their tanks and vehicles, and fixed malfunctions they could find, and Capital Minutemen patrolled the camp, and nearby areas.

That base looked more like some rogue camp, that military point. Militiamen and soldiers, who were not on their shifts, as usual, got drunk, played games of cards or dice, or just discussed their plans for the loot they planned to take. Some checked and cleaned their guns again, just to be sure, that they won't jam on an important moment and put them to shame.

One of the leaders of the assault, Stan Dixon, was discussing his plans with other commanders.

-"So, partners, our other groups are yet to arrive. We plan to strike from three sides, west, east and south. Mah' group will spearhead the assaut, while other two parts will divert some of hostile forces. As you see, I am takin' this one, while Casey James gonna lead western group, and John Walker AI will lead eastern group."-Stan Dixon

-"Nice. Attack from three sides may give us greater strategical and tactical versatility. We will wait for a bit, until our intel gives us more accurate data, on the port town, before we go there."- Responds general John "Four fingers".

- "Yep. Perhaps it's ain't hostile at all... ya' know, that place may be not SA anymore, but proclaim independence or join some rebels, so we would promise them help in exchange of lettin' our boys to settle in there for a while. They let us in some empty houses, and maybe offer rooms in their's, and we watch their backs and aid wounded and hungry. And if it's a hostile place... we just barge in without askin'"- Stan Dixon

Meanwhile, Nighthawks waited for their time on the air carriers, and were eager to deploy their bombers and fighters in minute's notice, and demonstrate their skill in combat.
