OPERATION TAQWA COMMENCED
Supreme Leader Sadat has ordered Asad Massum to commence with Operation Taqwa, the military takeover of Syrian Arab Republic and the Republic of Iraq.
At exactly 01:30, 4,600 paratroopers were dropped from aircraft similarly designed to the Dakota. These paratroopers expertly cut power lines, and seized key bridges across the northern Tigris and Euphrates. Then, at 02:05, approx. 130,000 military personnel crossed the Syrian border, adjacent to the 170,000 crossing the Iraqi border. The rest of the military remains on standby in Sadatland, available to assist invading forces on short notice. Upton 350 T-34/85 tanks are being included in the invasion, as well as hundreds of towed D-20 gun Howitzers which are capable of obliterating enemy positions from up to 18 km away. Mobilisation is key across the deserts, so cheap, but highly effective armoured tracked troop carriers will carry Sadatlands gallivanting soldiers across the plains, towards cities and enemy targets. Petlyakov Pe-8 bombers, accompanied by Yakovlev Yak-3 fighters enemy garrisons and artillery pieces near the border. Further raids near the cities of Mosul and Aleppo are expected this afternoon. Already enemy border forces have been overcome, and advanced several miles since the start of the invasion.

Troops target all towns and cities, but there are three spearhead attacks towards Aleppo, Mosul and Erbil, the largest cities in the north of the countries. Civilians are to be treated with respect under all circumstances, unless they assault military personnel, under which case they will be detained by military police. All enemy military targets are to be neutralised on sight.

President Asad Massum has appealed to Kurdish militias to support the invading forces, and fight the Iraqi and Syrian governments. The Kurds have been a persecuted minority for far too long, and Kemal has promised them equal rights and priveledges under a Sadatlandian government, and as such they should support us against the governments of Iraq and Syria.

URBAN FIGHTING IN RAQQA AND IDLIB ENSUES

Street fighting has broken out in the Syrian cities of Raqqa and Idlib, as military forces push through the outer suburbs. Artillery shells from both sides are falling en masse, and heavy casualties are being reported on the Syrian front. Petlyakov Pe-8 bombers flatten Syrian military positions in the cities. A Syrian army convoy east of Aleppo was destroyed yesterday by multiple attacks from Sadatlands Yakovlev Yak-3 fighters.
Civilians hide in the houses from the fighting in Raqqa and Idlib, although some have greeted our glorious soldiers with cheers and praise, offering gifts of food or shelter to our fighters of Allah. However, in the dense and bloody urban battlefield, everyone fears gas attacks, which are becoming even more likely as the battles rage on. The use of such weapons could cause death on an incalculable scale, and our soldiers have been commissioned gas masks in the event of such an attack in the cities.

Meanwhile, forces are bearing down on the major city of Aleppo, and fighting on its outskirts are expected to start in the next few days. Military leader, Asad Massum has suggested besieging the city if Aleppo and cutting of its supply line from the south.

In Iraq, T-34/85 tanks frolick through the desert with troops just behind. They have met little resistance so far, in the Sunni Orthodox north of the country, however, as they reach the city of Mosul, where Iraqi military presence is high, they are expected to get bogged down in bloody fighting.

President Asad Massum has contacted Kurdish Peshmerga forces in Erbil, and appealed for them to join the invasion, and fight the Iraqi government, as Sadatland will promise them more rights and privileges, in a Sunni ruled nation.

SUPREME LEADER SADAT THREATENS WESTERN INTERVENTION

Following threats of retaliation from numerous nations including Great Britain, Supreme Leader Sadat has threatened to use the powers which Allah invested in him, and to crush them if they dare step foot in the holy land.
He has also expressed his support for the Islamic League of Quintipoli, and recommended that Muslims in Quintipoli support the Islamic league and fight against their Christian government, to become free from their shackles. He said that the Muslims in Quintipoli are being oppressed and exploited by Quintipolis government and they should rebel as soon as they can.

PRIME MINISTER ABRAMOVICH SENDS 1000 TROOPS TO DEFEND DAMASCUS, PROCLAIMS DAMASCUS "SAFE PLACE FOR REFUGEES"

In a surprise move today, Abramovich declared that Zioniam would support the Syrian government after Sadatland invaded the country a week ago. A 1000 troop battalion of Mazi Infantry and Armour Forces has reportedly moved to the city of Damascus, swearing to defend it from any hostile forces and has invited any Syrian refugees to come to the city for safety. The move has been treated with gratefulness by some Syrians, while others have been angered and chosen to side with the Sadatians instead. The Zionian Air Force and Navy have also been put on standby, ready to attack any Sadatian units moving towards Damascus, although no declaration of war or orders to attack have been given yet.

KURDS TO SUPPORT SADATLAND
After several tough days of talks with Iraqi Kurdish leaders, Mustafa Kemal confirmed today that Peshmerga forces, who are in control of North Eastern Iraq shall support Sadatlands gallant military the the offensive against Iraq. Sadat and Kemal have promised the Kurds equal rights to other Sunni Muslims, which they don't receive under the oppressive Iraqi leaders. We also promise them a small level of autonomy if we win the war against Iraq, although they would still be under the rule of Sadatland, and under the benevolent care of Supreme Leader Sadat.

This has allowed our military to divert some forces from Norhtern Iraq to the Syrian Front, where major fighting is occurring. The cities of Raqqa and Idlib have been almost completely captured, in battles that have costed thousands of lives on both sides. However scenes of joy and elation were seen amongst Syrian civilians, when Sadatlands soldiers liberated their communities from the oppressive western influence governments. "

Meanwhile the cities of Mosul and Aleppo have been reached and already fighting is beginning on their outskirts. The Peshmerga forces, who began fighting this morning, will support an assault on Mosul, as they have just fought of any Iraqi military personnel present in the Kurdish cities of Kirkuk and Erbil, which are now fully under Sadatland-Peshmerga occupation. The battles for Mosul in Iraq, and Aleppo in Syria will be some of the bloodiest in this war, but the valiant soldiers of Sadatland shall glide through them mercilessly.

Supreme Leader Sadat, in an exclusive press conference in Istanbul told Zionism to withdraw their troops from Damascus immediately, or face inconceivable repercussions. Zioniam ruthlessly and unjustly sent 1,000 troops across the Syrian border, to "defend" the Syrian people. Sadat requested that Syrians in Damascus should fight the Jews and their governments, and recommended that they give their life to Allah by carrying out merciless suicide bombings to kill the Jewish invaders.

MOSUL AND ALLEPO FINALLY SURROUNDED
I'm two major simultaneous assaults, the cities of Mosul in Iraq, and Aleppo in Syria have been surrounded, and under siege. No reinforcements or supplies shall be delivered to forces in the cities, and if any planes attempt to fly over the blockade, they will be shot down immediately. All the while, Sadatlands brave and powerful soldiers shall continue to push on into the cities, and finally liberate the desperate and oppressed citizens.
In other news the Peshmerga and Sadatland soldiers have finally liberated the region of Iraqi Kurdistan, from the Iraqi government. That whole region, as well as swathes of Northern Iraq and Syria are now under Sadatland control.
Also, up to a hundred midget submarines, and several light cruisers have been deployed into the eastern Mediterranean Sea, around Cyprus, and have sunk any naval vessels which approach or leave the Syrian or Lebanese coasts. This is in an attempt to prevent any support or goods getting to Syria and Lebanon by sea.

Following recent offensive slurs from Israels leaders, President Asad Massum has replied by saying
"as much as the Zionists would love another man to suck on their phallus, no Sadatlandian intends to participate in their sodomous activities. SUPREME LEADER SADAT COMENDS QUINTIPOLESE MUSLIMS - ARMS SOLD ACROSS THE BORDER
Supreme Leader Sadat has commended the Quintipolese Islamic League, for they're defiant actions against the government of Lazar Sorner. He specifically congratulated Mohammed Ilesen, who rallied the Muslims in Ghifez. However Sadat said that they are not taking enough action against the government, in the form of military resistance. After this, over fifty lorries carrying arms and explosives, crossed tepee Quintipolese border and into the Muslim regions of the south, where the weapons shall be given to Islamist fighters and rallyers to fight the government and federal troops.

Journalists and TV crews from Europe and America stand by, waiting eagerly for Supreme Leader Sadat to make his first appearance on international TV. This is the first time in 11 years western journalists have entered the country, and they pay intimate attention to the delegates of Sadatland government stood outside of the Grand Mosque. The blue dome and towering minarets are dimly lit by the going down of the sun, but the approaching dark did not put off the massive crowd from attending the address, which comes after the German declaration of war.
The 62 year old Supreme Leader steps out, strong and passionate, he stares into the cameras of German, British, Russian and so many more western media outlets. A deafening moment of silence grips the journalists in avid anticipation. And then, he speaks.

Praise be to Allah who created the creation for his worship and commanded them to be just and permitted the wronged one to retaliate against the oppressor in kind. To proceed:

The seas to the south teem with German vessels, which hide, cowardly under the water. The skies above us will soon be filled with the lightning of their aircraft. If the Empire of Germany was to reunite the Germanic lands, and annex Austria, do you think that the Muslims would have a gripe? No, we wouldn't, because we are not interested in the affairs of the Germans, infact we commend the unification of a people.
So why, when we attempt to live side by side with our brothers, do they have to condemn and intervene? The only thing of the west that we want to destroy are the border of Sykes-Picot that they themselves set up that divides us and our brothers.
But assuming the position of global police, the west believe that they must prevent the citizens of Thrace uniting with the citizens of Kurdistan, or the citizens of Damascus from uniting with the citizens of Antioch, all of whom want to live, pray and die together, equally.

And so, the government of Sadatland has decided that proportionate force is required in such extreme cases as these. I call upon my brothers who await in the west to begin your attacks of terror on the people of Europe, the Americas and anyone else who attempts to undermine the will of Allah. Prime Minister Watson Offers Support to Germany

On hearing of Germany's declaration of war against Sadatland, Prime Minister Watson announcement during PMQs, and a subsequent press conference, that he will offer support to Germany during their conflict with Sadatland. This involves offering Cyprus, which is situated extremely close to Sadatland, to Germany as a base, from which to launch air, land and naval assaults. The Prime Minister said that we ought to support our ally [Germany], in they're fight for the freedom of the Arab people, against the tyranny of Sadatland, and using Cyprus would be highly advantageous for them. However, Britain will not participate in any conflicts with Sadatland, unless our forces are assaulted, abroad or at home, in which case our neutrality may have to be reviewed. The Prime Minister also stressed that any military action that Sadatland takes against Zioniam, or Iran, another of Britains close ally, may result in British intervention. The aircraft carrier, GBS Albion, which has just come out of repairs in Portsmouth, is headed for Cyprus, as well as three County class destroyers, and two Tiger class destroyers. These have been sent to augment the protect of the civilian populace of Cyprus, after threats from Sadatland, to "exterminate the population of Cyprus".

Mosul and Aleppo Liberated!
After weeks of urban fighting, besieging of Iraqi and Syrian forces, Mosul and Aleppo have finally been liberated, after the remaining enemy forces surrendered. Those who surrendered have been arrested and sent to reeducation in north east Sadatland. Now, with the capture of these two major cities, northern Syria and Iraq are now under Sadatlands control, and the second assault is being prepared for, towards Damascus, and Baghdad. The average citizens rejoice in the streets as Sadatlands tanks parade through city centres. Banners, welcoming our glorious troops adorn buildings, besides Syrian and Iraqi government officials, who have been strung up from lamp posts, by angry Arab mobs. Asda Massum, military chief, said the haste of our advances has been unprecedented, and commended the gallant effort of troops on the front line. He described the enemy forces as "poorly managed, under funded, and crumbling in the wake of battle", and praised the support of Peshmerga forces is Kurdistan. Troops have halted their advance, in preparation for the final push against the two capital cities, which will be heavily defended, and expectedly bring on mass casualties, especially with the addition of Israeli and German troops. The full military of Sadatland has been mobilised now, with reserves joining the active personnel, to amass a grand force of up to one million men, to defend the homeland, as well as the Muslims of Sadatland, who will join our soldiers in crushing the enemy. Reinforcements are being sent to the Arab front, in preparation for the assault south.

Sadatland Prepares for Possible Invasion

Thousands of sea mines are being planted across the eastern Mediterranean and Aegean Sea, in anticipation for German naval forces. The beaches of Sadatland are undergoing fortifications, with sand bags, Belgian gates, miles of barbed wire, and artillery being lined up on the beaches, in case of any attempt of enemy amphibious landings. Civilians joined the military in digging trenches and constructing bunkers along the shore. Barrage balloons fill the skies of major cities, in the expectation of enemy bombing raids, and Shilka anti aircraft vehicles are situated in some Istanbul streets. Sadatland is preparing for the worst and our people are taking no risks, reinforcing they're cellars with sandbags, which the government are distributing. BRITAIN DECLARES WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST

Following two terrorist atrocities, a submarine attack and threats to Cyprus, Britain is to join Germany in its war against Sadatland

Over 260 dead in simultaneous terror attacks. 2 merchant ships sunk and a naval vessel crippled. And Britain declares war in the Mediterranean. After twenty four tumultuous hours, British troops are preparing to head east, after PM Jeremy Watson declared that "20 years of peace in Europe have come to an abrupt end, as a major threat appears on its doorstep"

It was 7:00 in Hong Kong, the rush hour in the underground, when chlorine gas attack in Hong Kong's main station killed over 60, and injured hundreds, temporarily blinding many commuters. The gas appears to have been made at home, and the attack was well planned, with the the gas being realeased at the busiest time, in the busiest place in the city. All trains have been cancelled, and two men have been apprehended by police. This is expected to be Sadatlandian state sponsored terrorism. At the same time, in London, five gunmen armed with AKM assault rifles, stormed the Lyceum theatre in Westminster, opening fire in a performance of Arthur Millers' Death of a Salesman (a completely overrated play). Up to two hundred people were killed in the ensuing carnage and gunfight with policemen. The terrorists blew themselves up with what appear to be homemade suicide vests. It was reported that the terrorists shouted 'for Supreme Leader Sadat', affirming their support for Sadatland. Armed police have been put on the streets of all major cities across the commonwealth, and it has been recommended that people return to their homes and lock all doors for the rest of the night.
In a separate incident in Glasgow, a suicide bomber entered a pub and attempted to blow himself up, but the jacket failed to explode, and he was subsequently beaten up by a mob of drunk Scotsmen, who then preceded to try to behead him, for "a bit of banta".

This all comes after a Sadatlandian midget submarine torpedoed two merchant vessels heading for Lebanon and a cruiser escort two hours before, after Sadatland ordered the sinking of any vessels in the area. The two merchant ships were sunk, although all the sailors escaped onto life rafts. The cruiser was hit in the rudder, and managed to return to Cyprus, despite being seriously crippled.

Following the terrorist attacks, Prime Minister James Watson delivered a TV broadcast on the steps of 10 Downing Street, declaring war on Sadatland, for its provocative actions in the Mediterranean and its evident financial support for the terrorist attacks in London and Hong Kong. British troops have been mobilised and a task force will head to Cyprus in the morning, to join naval and air forces already present on the island. From there, joint German and British plans will be drawn up and actions will be taken against Sadatland. He has also recommended that other nations join the fight against the brutal dictatorships actions.

For the past several months Sadatland has been attempting to disrupt the long lasting peace in Europe. They have threatened its neighbours. They have incited and supported terrorism. They have distorted the ideas of a moral religion and used it to justify their brutal annexation of Syria and Iraq. It is obvious that appeasement will not satisfy them, and so the full might of a British-German military coalition is the only solution to their threatening jingoism.

War declared on Sadatland

On a special broadcast on Radio Göttenborg and Radio Sweden, the Prime Minister, Vilhelm Foresberg, announced that Sweden was now at war with Sadatland. This week, both Britain and Germany, two of Sweden's strong allies have declared war, and it was rumoured that Sweden would be soon to follow. Yesterday, the Prime Minister called an emergency vote in the Hall of Commons on the war situation. The votes have not been publicised for security reasons, but it is known that the majority voted 'Aye'. An emergency cabinet meeting lasted until 8pm, when the Prime Minister signed the declaration of war, and it was taken to the King to be officially signed and verified, and at 8:53pm, we were at war with Sadatland. The Defence Ministry has announced that Sweden will use Land, Air and Sea operations, and that the Royal Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Army have set for Cyprus, a British island in the Eastern Mediterranean.

ADVANCE INTO ARABIA HALTED
From Homs near Lebanon to Tikrit in Iraq, Sadatlandian and Kurdish forces have liberated all areas to the north, and have halted their advance as they prepare for western counter attack. Occupied cities are being fortified, and locals being trained to fight, with equipment that Sadatland factories are churning out. Trenches and recounts are being constructed in certain areas of the deserts. All oil fields are under the control of the military and shall supply our omnipotent forces. Reinforcements have been sent to the frontline, with forces amassing 400,000 in Syria and Iraq, with locals being trained in military combat too. Elsewhere, all reserves have been called up, with more troops across the nation, and 300,000 stationed at the border of Quintipoli waiting further military orders. All cities are preparing for enemy attacks, and Russian built shilka air defences are being deployed in major urban and military areas in anticipation of bombing raids.
Mines now fill the Black, Eastern Mediterranean and Aegean seas, after the western infidels began sending naval forces towards the Kuffar island of Cyprus , and the oppressors of Islam, Quintipoli, began sending their measly vessels towards the glorious city of Istanbul. Following the declaration of war by Quintipoli on our glorious homeland, military action has been taken against their unnecessary aggressions. General W. Hartley had been appointed commander of military operations in the Eastern Mediterranean and Arabia, following the declaration of war. From Akriotiri, he observed his two aircraft carriers, Hermes and Albion, which had just moored in Limassol port. Four more Vulcan bombers, having just arrived from Gibraltar, were being fitted with up to 21,000 lb of conventional explosives. Later that night he was expecting the remainder of the British Eastern Mediterranean Taskforce, which consists of 90,000 personnel, to arrive, by ship and air.

Accommodation for up to 250,000 German and Swedish forces has been made on the island, and new camps have been erected, to house the coalition troops whilst they are on the island. The airfield at Akriotiri has had new hangars built, to contain more aircraft, and the port of Limassol has been closed to civilian vessels, and is only open to coalition naval vessels.

A veteran air pilot, General Hartley hated to miss out on the action, and was eager to get away from the command desk and join his men on the front line during battle. Or in this case, above the front line. The next day, he was going to 'supervise' a bombing strike in Syria, and personally fly one of the bombers himself, much to other commanders disapproval. Grand Admiral Diorgo Zargatin gazed out at his fleet from the bridge of the Attaland. Off the port bow, he saw the Quintipolese Black Sea Fleet's only aircraft carrier, the Goran Radanovik. 10 of the 14 fighters it carried were on deck and ready to launch, and a reconnaissance aircraft was preparing to make a landing. The fleet was less than a day out from the Bosporous, the narrow strait that lay between the Black Sea and the major Turkish industrial center of Constantinople.

Overhead, six Pluida-class bombers flew in the same direction as the fleet, while off to starboard, the submarine Robel surfaced.

In the past few days, over 80,000 Quintipolese troops had arrived in Firiesti County, along with numerous pieces of artillery and tanks. The area had been torn apart by Turkish shelling, with the few towns that remained being largely empty. The Quintipolese had had to retreat to Firiesti after the towns of Zautone and Markorika (IRL Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda) to the West had fallen to the outnumbering Turkish forces. Now, the Quintipolese army had the mountains of the South Caucasus range to its advantage, despite the 300,000 infidels in the valley below. The Turks had made even less of an advance in the area around Belmon (Batumi) due to the even more mountainous terrain, though much of downtown Belmon had been shelled into oblivion. Belmon could not be allowed to fall, as it posed a major danger to Quintipoli's second largest city of Swarzaga (loc: Poti).

Military Offensive in Caucasus Commences!!
Sadatland s glorious military forces are marching through the nation of Armenia, in order to attack Quintipoli from the south, and liberate the Muslims of Austoland, who are being oppressed by their unlawful Christian rulers. Already, the Muslims in Quintipoli are rebelling against their Christian rule, and with the weapons we have armed them with, they will likely support our glorious liberation as we approach the Caspian Sea. 150,000 men and women entered Armenia this morning, and are marching towards their capital, Yerevan, at a hastily pace, following a massive artillery bombardment which softened up enemy positions. Once Armenia has been captured, which shouldn't be too difficult, the offensive into Quintipoli will begin, which will include over 300,000 soldiers. Tanks and armaments which aren't deployed in Iraq and Syria, or aren't part of the Home Guard, have been sent to the border with Quintipoli. President, Mustafa Kemal, who is in eastern Sadatland, have said that Quintipoli shall burn in the fires of Sadatlands military, and the Muslims in Quitnipoli.
Meanwhile, the Bosphorus has been fortified, and the Sadatlandian naval and aerial forces ha prepared for the arrival of the Quintipoli navy, which approaches across the Black Sea. Mines pepper the sea, and if they manage to get through those mines, they shall face dreadful naval and aerial bombardment from our forces, and not one of their shells shall land on the glorious city of Istanbul.

Mass Production of Armaments and Soldiers Continues, whilst Foregin Jihadists Arrive
All citizens of Sadatland are now supporting the war effort of its glorious Fatherland, in some way or another. All materials from our mines and quarries shall go to factories, where armaments are being mass produced. Tanks, artillery, armoured vehicles, aircraft are all being hastily assmebled, and sent to the front lines, in the East and the South. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has announced that all young, and fit adults shall be trained into soldiers, to fight in the Great Jihad. Up to 1,000,000 adults who aren't in the army have been conscripted and are being trained right now to spread the glorious ideals of Islam. More are expected to be forcibly conscripted in the future.

Conscription Begins

The Senate of the Federal Republic of Quintipoli has officially begun to conscript men into the army. Already, the total number of troops has swelled from 190,000 to 240,000 as reserves are called up, but new conscripts will increase this even further.

Defense of Armenia Begins

Nearly 100,000 troops have been rushed to Armenia in order to aid their army against the Turkish invaders. Currently, the Quintipolese and Armenians are defending Gymury, Talin, and Armavir against a slightly outnumbering Turkish force. The towns have been massively damaged by artillery barrages and both sides are beginning to dig trenches.

Armenia Crumbles - Sadatland Prepares for Quintipoli Assualt
Yerevan has been surrounded by Sadatlandian soldiers, who magnificently broke through the Armenian defences in a Blitzkrieg fashion. Artillery shells are falling gracefully onto the Armenian capital, which is suspected to be containing Quintipolian troops, who are digging trenches around Armenian towns and cities. Once captured, a magnificent soldiers shall continue through Armenia. Although they will be slowed by the mountains at Armenias borders, our soldiers shall eventually pass through the mountains, and enter the Muslims lands of Azerbaijan, which is in dire need of liberation.
Meanwhile, at the border with Quintipoli, Sadatland awaits orders to take action, and carries on defending the border, and bombarding the enemy positions, with huge numbers of artillery pieces and planes, which the hard working citizens of our glorious motherland has been mass producing. Reinforcements are amassing around the border with Quintipoli, and, with thousands of new troops being trained every day and up to a million more young Sadatlandians to be conscripted, there could be 300,000 soldiers participating in the invasion of Quintipoli. Syria and Iraq have become Fortresses of Sadatland

After several weeks of anticipation, deep, reins forced trenches and bunkers have been constructed, with the aid of wonderful locals. Recounts have been manned, and every town and city in Iraq and Syria has become its own fortress, with 550,000 Sadatlandian soldiers fighting alongside the great locals who are willing to help, and jihadists who have gallantly arrived from abroad. Mines hide amongst the dunes, waiting for enemy tanks to roll over them. Bridges across he Tigris and Euphrates have been rigged with explosives. Anti Aircraft weapons are camouflaged beneath shrubbery, waiting for enemy bombers to fly over them.

50,000 Feet Above Syria and Iraq

April 1962

A squadron of bombers left Cyprus last night, for the first bombing raid of the war against Sadatland. Each loaded with 21,000 lb of explosives, 35 Avro Vulcan and 15 Handley Page Victor strategic bombers soared out of range of Sadatlands outdated air defence weaponry. Each bomber had been given its own targets; including airfields, railroads, highly fortified military positions or Sadatlands naval bases.

At 23:30, the first bombs dropped, with precision targeting, lighting up the deserts of Arabia with power that Sadatland is incapable of matching.

General Hartley, head of military operations, is accompanying the bombing operation, and is personanly flying his own Vulcan bomber. Looking at the monitors in front of him, he sees he's over his target: an airfield west of Idlib that had been taken over by the Sadatlandian military.
The bomber, behind Hartley, drops the whole load of explosives, targeting the runway, and hangars. Two more Vulcan bombers on either side of them target that same airfield.
After about a minute, they see the ground in the distance below them light up, allowing them to make out the nkw crippled runway and hangars.

Across Syria and Iraq other targets are being destroyed by other strategic bombers. Further bombing raids are expected to take place frequently, especially in Sadatland, targeting munitions factories, and military targets in Arabia, and the Caucasus.

Strategic Retreat from Armenia, Belmon Front Remains Static

Following the Sadatian breakthrough in Armenia, Quintipolese forces have retreated across Lake Sevan towards the natural defenses of the South Caucasus Range. Sadatland now controls most of the country, including the capitol of Yerevan, and is planning an offensive into Nagorno-Karbakh and Austoland. Meanwhile, further west, the city of Belmon is still under heavy artillery fire, and the mountain front remains largely unchanged. The army has begun to push back in the mountains west of Wereo (Tbilisi) and into the valley where Zautone and Markorika (IRL Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda) lie.

Bosporous, Treizbond Blockaded, Constantinople Bombed

The Black Sea Fleet has successfully blockaded the northern entrance of the Bosporous and is preventing any shipping from nations bordering the black sea from reaching Constantinople. The same fate has also befallen Treizbond, although there was a minor skirmish with two Sadatian crusiers, one of which was sunk by the submarine Robel and the other of which suffered damage to its forward main armament.

Meanwhile, eight Pludia-class bombers managed to damage munitions factories and railroads in Constantinople and Uskudar. It is unknown how many civilians were killed.

Muslim Paramilitary Gangs Battle Domestic Legion in Austoland and Nagorno-Karbakh

Muslim paramilitaries such as the Quintian Islamic Guard, and the Muslim Brigade of Nagorno, are engaging in urban fighting with the Quintipolese Army in southern cities such as Curgill, Ghífez, Merotesan, Kartiae, Relpil, and Pladin. Despite their smuggled arms from Sadatland, the gangs have found themselves drastically outnumbered even in the Muslim countyside, where they are being defeated quickly. Brutal, town by town fighting is taking place across the province, and much infrastructure is being destroyed, even by retreating Muslims. However, Nagorno-Karbakh remains the site of much bloodshed as the recently freed Armenian paramilitary Defenders of Karbakh and the regular Quintipolese army struggle to free the capital, Iago, and several other towns from the grasp of the Muslim Brigade. The province is a crucial route for supplies going to the troops in the South Caucasus front.

Armenia Annexed Following Quintipolitan Withdrawal
Quintipolitan forces recently 'strategically withdrew' from Armenia, allowing our forces to annex the whole country. Their withdrawal was obviously not strategic, merely out of cowardice, in the face of our strong and overwhelming force of brave jihadis. Their cowardly retreat has allowed Armenia to be engulfed, with the capital, Yerevan, succumbing quickly to out might. The Armenian military crumbled, and all captured members of the Armenian military and government are currently being beheaded in public executions across the country.
The 150,000 soldiers in Armenia await for reinforcements and supplies to arrive, before they make their offensive through the Caucasus mountains, into Quintipoli. Soliders are making use of any captured Armenian weaponry, as well as stockpiling on food and water from the Armenian countryside.

Sadatlandian Troops Enter Quintipoli and Besiege Town
30,000 soldiers have crossed the border with Quintipoli and besieged the Black Sea town of Belmon, which has faced massive artillery bombardments from our artillery battalions. They are cutting off supply routes to the town, and will eventually push through the town and overwhelm resistance there. Any Quintipolitan soldiers, government members, or uncooperative citizens will be beheaded in public executions as well. Meanwhile the rest of the border with Quintipoli remains static, but no advances have been made by either side, except huge barrages of artillery are towns on both sides.

Following the declaration of war against Sadatland, the High Command of the Imperial Armed Forces and Great General Staff convened with Chancellor Adenauer, Defence Minister Strauss, and out of formality, Kaiser Ferdinand. Grossadmiral Doenitz, current head of the Imperial High Command, briefed the three men on the overall operation plan and makeup. Vorschlaghammer, or sledgehammer, was the name coined for the military operation. The operation calls upon 205,000 German troops of all branches to repel and counter-attack Sadat's forces currently entrenched in Syria and Northern Iraq. The majority of forces will be based out of the British territory of Cyprus, where 90,000 British and 18,000 Swedish troops are also stationed.

Another question was brought up; the use of tactical nuclear warheads with the digression of commanders on the front. Chancellor Adenauer did not authorize the utilization of tactical nuclear arms quite yet, but did allude to the possibility of their use of conventional armaments don't succeed. But, the High Command of the Imperial Armed Forces believe the superior mobility, training and technology of the German forces will result in a victory for the Coaltion against Sadatland. Let us hope so.

Following Minister Molotov visit to Istanbul and fearing the excessive response and unnecessary escalation of a regional conflict, the Soviet High Command decided to send 5 fully loaded Antonovs An-12 to Sadatland in order to help their war effort. It's approximately 100,000 tons of light weaponry and military rations alongwith a team composed mechanical technicians and mountain warfare advisors already made available to Sadatlandian forces.

GOVERNMENT SENDS A FIRM WARNING TO THE RUSSIANS

Foreign Secretary David Cohen warns against any Russian intervention in the Middle East and said that Britain use necessary force in the event of Soviet military involvment

The Soviet Union has sent military supplies and advisors to Sadatland, and has also threatened repercussions if the European Coalition on Cyprus attack Sadatland. This Russian rhetoric, which is beginning to worry military experts, has been described as unnecessary and provocative. Foreign Secretary David Cohen, who has been visiting Cyprus, Greece, Israel and several Arab countries, spoke today from Amman, stressing the need for a cohesive alliance against the violent intentions of Sadatland. He said that the support that The Soviet Union is expressing for Sadatland is intensely worrying, and if they take any military action against Britain, Quintipoli, or one of our allies, they should expect an appropriate military reaction from the British Armed Forces.
The Prime Minister added that the Soviets will be deemed an enemy if they become involved, and despite the governments opposition to most war, we would be willing to make use of all military assets against the Soviet Union of they dare to make a move in the Middle East and Caucasus.

60,000 SOLDIERS LAND IN LEBANON

60,000 British soldiers have been left Cyprus and are beginning to arrive in Lebanon, whilst the other 35,000 remain stationed on Cyprus with German and Swedish forces. The troops are set to join Israeli forces in southern Syria, and are also being sent to unoccupied Iraq. 160 Centurion Main Battle Tanks have joined them, as well as APCs and Vulcan Avro bombers, which will carry out bombing strikes from Lebanon. Britain has promised Lebanon the upmost protection, as Sadatlandian troops can be seen from the Lebanese-Syrian border in the north. Some soldiers will move to cities such as Baghdad and Damascus which remain unoccupied by Sadatland, whilst others will remain in Lebanon, until they are joined by coalition forces, and are able to attack Sadatlandian positions in northern Syria and Iraq. The seas in the Eastern Mediterranean have been mostly cleared of Sadatlandian submarines, although there is still a chance that more may be present, especially with Sadatland's production of military and naval equipment at a terrifyingly high rate.
Military advisors, and up to 400 military personnel have landed in Quintipoli's capital, Ignary, to advise and support their war against Sadatland in the Caucasus and Armenia.
It is also believed that Blue Streaked missiles, with nuclear war heads are being moved to the Middle East, as a deterrent to the USSR, however this hasn't been confirmed.

Air Strikes on Military Bases in Southern Sadatland

The Prime Minister has commanded that the SRAA (Swedish Royal Air Army) begin air strikes on Sadat Military Bases in the country's south. Air Strikes have begun on bases near the Sadat Cities of Adana, Antalya and Konya. Many naval ships in Antalya Harbour have been destroyed after an air strike at 5AM yesterday. All air strikes shall be carried out by JAS 20 Aircraft.

More soldiers deployed on Russo-Swedish Border

300 soldiers have been deployed on the militarised border between Russia and Sweden. Russia has recently given weapons and equipment to Sadatland, and it is thought that skirmishes may happen on the border. The town of Kirkenes, which is currently half in Swedish territory, half in Soviet has been evacuated of civilian life, and the population has been taken to the nearby, but safer town of Vadso.
