TO: Descovia

After discussions between the Norderian and Hardenburghian governments , regarding the threat of Descovia , it has been decided that the nation is a threat to the security of both our regions , and , in line with our defensive doctrine , it has been decided to launch an attack on the rogue state to destroy what is generally seen as a terrorist threat. We urge the government of Descovia to stand down now , and enter talks with Noders and Hardenburgh , otherwise the will be subject to a destructive and damaging war. The threat of smaller states , to larger ones is something that must not be underestimated and , hence dealt with using forces. Hardenburgh announces its state of war with Descovia and will commit the following forces to overrunning this terrorist state;

If the Descovian government cannot accept the proposal of negotiations , then they have sealed their fate. The joint security force will overrun their nation. We give Descovia one last chance to stand down now , as war is a tragic occurrence , and Hardenburgh does not want to harm the people of Descovia , however , if their government fails to respond positively to this final offer , Hardenburgh will have no choice but to begin operations against the Descovian state. We hope this war will be short , and that a conclusion will be reached , however , we would like to remind Descovia , that no matter what their strategy is , they stand no chance against the might and power of the Hardenburghian -Norderian security force.

The preliminary operations against Descovia had already started. Out in the Gulf of Descovia , Hardenburghian Submarines launched cruise missiles on positions inside the nation. Meanwhile in A4-13 , the Hardenburghian airbase inside East Descovia , B52 bombers , and Tornado fighters started performing precision airstrikes on strategic positions such as communications systems as well as industrial areas. There was generally a high sense of Moral. The commander of the Hardenburghian forces stood on a hill top , as a squadron of Harriers roared above his head. He squinted into his binoculars , sweat trickling down his forehead in the hot , beating sun. Through the lenses of his binoculars he glanced at the dry , barren and hilly landscape , and then turned to his assistant. "Howard , its time to commence the advance , order the field guns to open fire on their preset positions".

The first part of Operation Descovian Liberation was underway. Throughout the night field guns pounded positions near the front line , as the Hardenburghian armored Cores and Infantry prepared for their advance the next day. Meanwhile , off Farstenia , supported by Naval Gunfire from the cruiser GDHS Persephone and the Frigates GDHS Battle axe and GDHS Broadsword , the two landing ships GDHS Albion and GDHS devastation begin the process of landing an 850 man strong force of Marines to capture the Island and place it under Hardenburghian control
