West Troptopia was once a great nation , free of colonial rule with self determination , and with a powerful economy. Then , in fear and stupidity , the conservative government signed a protectorate treaty with the Hardenburghian government. Troptopia was crippled , Hardenburghian industry stripped Troptopia of what was once rightfully its wealth , then handed us over , free of charge to Churchilland , who provided ineffective , useless leadership. Although weak , poor and powerless now Troptopia has one thing , one bit of identity left to itself. That being its sense of National identity ; and here today , we issue the declaration of Troptopia. No longer shall we be ruled by the Federation , no longer shall we be oppressed by the evil of Hardenburgh and Churchilland. We hereby claim , once more , the establishment of an independent Troptopia state , and we ask the international community , to pull together in an attempt to withstand the evil of the Grand Hardenburghan Federation and the CoNS who will try and strip us of our right to self determination

France must insist on calm and cool-heads in this case. It is obvious we have a conflict of ideas. Troptopians feel they can and should be an independent state, whereas some others feel they have not somehow earned or come to deserve determination.

For the time being, to prevent conflict, France is willing to dispatch a peacekeeping force to West Troptopian soil. This force would be a full neutral element with no ties to any side in this conflict of interests.

Apartment Block - East Francian Capital

An intricate network of glass tubes, linking chemical mixtures stood on the pine wood table. A man dressed in a grey sweatshirt made final adjustments to it , tapping a tube with his middle finger. Then he straightened up , and pushing his glasses up his nose , he yawned and stretched. He reached into his brown leather satchel , and took out a series of explosive charges. Laying them on the table , he connected the wires together , his skilled hands worked quickly. Quietly and quickly, he stopped once more ,looked around , and then into his satchel , he scrutinized the dark interior of the bag, put his hand in , and pulled out a timer. He attached this to the yellow explosive , sinking the connectors into it, then he twisted the dial. Ten Minutes. He walked around the small grubby apartment , water dripped from the tap in the Kitchen , in ten minutes Troptopia would rise again , he walked into the bathroom , the toilet seat had fallen off some long time ago , and the bath was full of filth , in nine minutes Troptopia would rise again , He walked into the living room. Wallpaper pealed off the walls , and there was a worn couch and a small portable television balanced on a pile of phone directories on the dirty wooden floor and in the middle of the table stood the table , on it the chemical weapon , it would in seven minutes spread anthrax around the East Francian Capital. Seven minutes to Troptopian independence, the thought excited him, it made his stomach turn. He smiled , a great nation would be born again. He walked through the hallway of the flat , plaster dropped off the walls into the bedroom , Six minutes and Troptopia would rise again. A mattress covered with a blanket stood next to a chest of draws. He walked to the chest of draws ; on it stood a picture of his family , a wife , a daughter , a son who all would see a new Great independent Troptopian state , free of imperialism. He opened the draw and in it , among the socks , and underpants lay a gun , cold , smooth and hard. He lifted it , flicked back the safety catch. Three minutes and Troptopia would rise again. He placed it to his head. Two minutes and Troptopia would rise again. A hollow echo was heared ringing through the near empty apartment.

A bang was heared outside the apartment , people stopped startled in the street , inside the apartment , a pale gas started to fill up the living room ...
