Executing Order 78

Postby Austria Hungary II » Wed Sep 13, 2017 3:01 pm

4:30am in Katowice, Silesia
On September 13, 2017, a total of 774,000 Austro-Hungarian troops stormed Silesia, including Sgt. Maxim Bueller. Over Katowice, paratroopers jumped out of AC130s into the city, which was being bombarded by tanks. Everything was either on fire or collapsed. When one squad landed, there were Silesian rebels (which only had Gewehr 88s) hiding in buildings and firing shots of towards other soldiers. One of them proceeded to fire his RPG into the balcony, and surprisingly, blowing up the entire building. As other paratroopers landed, cavalry units walked the streets, shooting rebels out of buildings and trampling those on the ground. Tanks pushed into the city, shooting all Silesians in their way, even if they were civilians. Gasmen walked the streets spraying chlorine gas into the buildings. BTRs flooded into the city, destroying what was left of any buildings. The troops left the city, pushing farther into Silesia, leaving Katowice a large pile of rubble and dead bodies.

Gas began spreading through Warsaw Street, and Austrian forces opened fire on the German paratroopers, thinking that they had gone rogue. A friendly fire battle ensued between the to companies, and Austrian planes began to bomb the streets. After 7 hours, 234 tons of bombs had been dropped on Warsaw Street, leaving it a long line of rubble. The day was recognized as a military disaster, killing 14,000 Austrian troops, and 12,300 German troops. General Novak contacted General Ludendorff, and a meeting was arranged on what was legal in future warfare in Germania.
