JSA Embassies, Ambassadorial Council [FT,closed]

On Embassy level B of the Presidium of Delta Capita station lies The Ambassadorial Council chambers. Heavily guarded by Delta Capita Security, these chambers are a place of meeting and congregation for the ambassadors to the JSA. Here ambassadors interact to discuss matters of importance between themselves or to discuss anything which must be brought to the Head Joint Council. Once a dicision has been made to bring forth an issue to the JSA, the leading ambassador of that movement would then make a request for an audience at the JSA Joint Council. A JSA moderator will objectively moderate all hearings.

Pythagoras had an air about him, how he walked, his charm, but his handsomeness caught every woman's attention, he liked this attention, he loved women, everything about them made him happy, even on Delta Capita he made heads turn, although he couldn't finish the job, he had been chosen by the Pharaoh herself to be the moderator for ambassadorial meetings, a lengthy and boring title, but he made more Phoenicians that his old job so he decided to take them up on the offer, and now he resides on Delta Capita, to carry out his boring job as moderator.

Later...

Pythagoras entered the ambassadorial meetings chamber, it light up rather extravegently, the room was large, but it had to be, in the future this room would be a hub of confusion and arguements, compliments and codemnations, a wonderous location, right next to the water, a place of serene beauty, or to Pythagoras, a chore and just another workplace. The tall moderator left the chamber and headed back towards the Nubian embassy, he didn't want to linger in an empty room for long, against his beliefs, if the meeting chambers were needed, and if Pythagoras had to be there than the commlink in his room would blink red and he would dash as fast as he could to tickle the fancies of the ambassadors on the station and to hear their needs and act on them accordingly.

To Pythagoras, it was just another job, in yet another exotic enviorment.

Blastrock Fistgroin finished his breakfast of human skulls filled with fire, and set off to explore the JSA station. While it was most certainly a far cry from a true human nation, such as Talyth, it was pretty enough. As far as he was aware, there was no reason for him to talk to the JSA ambassadors of yet, but that wasn't necessarily going to continue..

The quarters given over to the Remnant were sparse and empty, the only features hidden behind walls and doors. The Mouth scanned the area outside of their quarters, his presence a mere shimmer. It was difficult being in three places at once, but with the power of the Collect behind him, he could just about control and sift through the vast amount of signals which focused themselves to his actual self on board the Paradise Void. As the servitors continued to work behind him, the Mouth ventured forth, exploring the station and archiving everything he saw and heard as he walked. Finally, he came upon the Ambassadorial Council chambers and walked in, his tall silver frame moving without noise, and his black cloak billowing out behind him. His faceless head turned slightly towards Blastrock Fistgroin before he straightened himself and explored this room too...

The Longhaul arrived in the system following the pre-arranged coordinates. The Embassy ship appeared to be a simple freighter which had been overhauled for service as an Embassy and assigned with Ambassador Stark aboard a Diplomatic Station long ago but that one fell due to enemies of the host nation. The ship had been recalled along with the staff and placed within reserve for when it was needed again. This time it was sent to serve Ambassador MilAmber.

The ship was a simple design with an upper bridge section and crew’s quarters and a lower cargo bays in the main body of the vessel. The ship had been reconfigured to serve as the actual Embassy when used in prior missions and it was still in that arrangement. The cargo areas were turned into reception areas and also served as other function areas, a wide open multiple story space has so many uses. Currently, it was partitioned into a makeshift cargo area storing the baggage needed to properly set up the new Embassy in the JSA station. The supplies was packed into embassy-grade shipping containers that prevented scanning to protect the interior items from being scanned, much the same way Diplomatic Pouches in the days of old were lead lined to prevent the contents from being x-rayed. If anyone needed to know the contents, they would have to file the necessary paperwork and the Ambassador would make the decision if the property of the Ta’Nar was under search and seizure laws. The cargo haulers were properly marked so as to be official embassy vehicles to haul the equipment through the service corridors. They and the personal shuttle possessed by MilAmber were considered to be Ta’Nar soil as well as The Longhaul and its shuttle which would be used to bring the gear aboard the station itself. Once loaded, the ship would withdraw to an assigned holding pattern until needed.

The vessel was only armed with navigational defenses to stop meteors from striking the ship. It certainly would not be considered military in any way and was a true diplomatic vessel. It relied upon shield enhancements for protection as well as its drives but mostly its status as a mobile embassy was the only real weapon it carried.

After assigning a landing berth, the cargo shuttle moved the shipping crates to the station, the first trip consisting of the three Childer and the ten Kythons used to move the gear into the suite of rooms assigned to them on the upper platform. All ten Kythons boarded the shuttle after the gear was completely transferred from The Longhaul to the suite, carefully watched and every move completely accounted for by the nervous security forces. They verified none remained aboard the station, apparently the Ta’Nar did not need security or they were not permitted to keep their own.

After The Longhaul was moved to its assigned area, a signal was sent home informing them of the completion of the set up in the Embassy Suite. About ten minutes later a wormhole was artificially enlarged and a single shuttle emerged. The immediate scans which the station defense would logically take showed it was unarmed. The shuttle changed heading and started toward the station. Moments later the craft contacted Command and requested a vector to land. After getting permission and a destination, the ship soon found itself sliding into its berth on the station. The Stiletto shuttle settled three centimeters from the deck, hovering soundlessly. After the all clear was sounded, the side of the small craft seemed to liquefy and melt, running down the ship as if it was quicksilver. As the metal flowed downward, it revealed an airlock in the side of the ship. The material formed three independently floating steps. The door slid open and from the interior of the ship stepped a humanoid dressed in grey robes. The figure stood two meters tall and was not human, not completely. There were definitely human characteristics in its visage but also something else. It was hard to place the “otherness” but it set him apart from others marking him as one who should be listened to. One of the Childer stood to the side waiting for the Ambassador to arrive. After a silent exchange between the two, the pair began to walk to the waiting transport to the embassy level.

A short time later, Ambassador MilAmber entered the Ta’Nar Embassy, its familiar black metal surfaces marking it as alien. The Space Minus Powertap had been installed and the replicators turning out the plates used to cover every square millimeter, forming an obsidian cocoon within the suite given to the Ta’Nar. The Embassy used their own power source and there was no outside connection into the compound other than communication lines, it was fully self-sufficient, the way the Ta’Nar wished it to be. The entrance hall itself lit by floating orbs of light accenting the radiant illumination that seemed to be emitted from the walls themselves but without a visible source. A single Childer sat at the reception desk waiting for people to enter while the last of the three entered from one of the back rooms through a rear hallway. They stood as soon as MilAmber arrived and bowed deeply, the third reporting to him using their Link.

Greetings Adviser MilAmber

Do not call me by that title here, the fleshlings are not to know my true status, they are to think I am only an Ambassador, not one of the Warlord’s Advisors.

Yes…Ambassador MilAmber. The place is ready for your inspection.

Thank you. He looked around. You three have done good work in the short time you have had.

We try.

I will be in my office. Open the front doors in case someone wishes to stop by.

I will.

MilAmber walked by the receptionist while the other two Childer hurried away to see to the remaining projects needed for the Embassy. They disappeared into one of the back rooms where the public could not venture.

MilAmber entered his Office, the door shutting behind him. He walked around the large room, all arranged to provide the most psychological impact to a visitor. Everything was calculated from the lighting to the furniture types and placement. Even the automated bar/food dispenser was positioned so any using it would be in a position of disadvantage to the Ambassador based upon several different locations throughout the room. This was based on position of the mirrors; the way the person would have his back to the rest of the room, and even the ceiling lights causing it to be more difficult to see clearly the actions of someone in different strategic locations around the room. One wall was covered by a large viewscreen which was subdivided into several views. The entrance hall was shown, as well as a view of the station as seen from The Longhaul. There were other locations depicted including a massive station in near orbit around an ancient red giant, powerful energy beams drawing something from the core into the vessel. It was likely the beings who built this diplomatic station would never see the starlight from where The Fist was but seeing the Battlefortress while it was mining Neutronium from the core of the star reminded MilAmber of the reason why he was here.

“Shipmind?”

“Yes Ambassador?”

“Are you fully integrated into the Embassy yet?”

“I am.”

“Good, monitor the local broadcasts and alert me if there is anything suspicious. Also, have Karl contact the Assembly and request for me to be seen. I have something to discuss with them about the actions of some of their members.”

Sometime later, MilAmber sat at this desk completing the reports he was personally responsible. He checked the chronometer and noted it had been over an hour since he had requested Karl contact the Council and make a request for them to hear him. Standing up, he walked out of his office and entered the grand hallway overlooking the entrance chamber below. The floor to ceiling fountain was now working filling the room with the tinkling of water. The lighting effects caused the falling droplets to literally glow like they were falling jewels.

Taking the winding stairs down, he arrived behind the security doors leading into the reception hall. They were still open, upon his request as were the entrance doors to the Embassy itself. He hoped the locals would try to get a glimpse of the interior so they would spread rumors about the Embassy around, creating a mystery but still allowing most everyone to know of their presence. Word of mouth tends to travel faster than any other form of communication and is more believable.

Walking into the entrance hall, he saw Karl making some final adjustments to the lighting scheme of the fountain. He was levitating near the ceiling as he manipulated the variables of color and timing in the unit. He looked down and saw MilAmber standing near the reception desk and descended to the floor.

“What can I do for you?”

“I was just wondering about the request I asked you to send, have you heard back from the JSA yet?”

“No, I have not. I sent the request right away but no reply.”

“What did you tell them?”

“You were interested in meeting with the Assembly to address them regarding a serious situation. I also asked them to confirm right away but so far there has been no reply.”

“I see, thank you Karl. By the way, the fountain appears to be perfect. You have my compliments.”

MilAmber turned and re-entered the compound through the security doors and went to see how Amanda and Crystal were with their own projects.

I am quite sorry for the delayed message my transmitter was done, regarding your asking for an assembly I will allow it, although I see it as only myself and your ambassador inside the council chamber? If so then follow the directions to said chambers and I will then be there waiting.

OOC:

It was not specifically worded in a post, more like a reference to sending one at the end of my first post and in my second one I had Karl paraphrase what he sent.

Music could be heard as the GBA Ambassador, Sebastian Sev'ranscki walked towards the Embassy B-level with a wireless headphone on.
''Hmm... there should be a elevator near here...''

He began turning his mechanic eye setting it from Viewing Mode to Map Mode.
''Map Mode initiated.'' The eye declared.
''Left here and then right. Alrighty then.''

Sebastian followed the instructions, entered the elevator and turned his eye back to Viewing Mode.
His Goal? To get the embassy enlarged. The embassy already was filled at it's capacity and with the influx of new aides, the GBA had just doubled it's size in the Galaxy, it wouldn't be humanly, or in this case Ghatlian, possible. So, he was going to the Ambassorial Council to request that the Embassy got enlarged, triple the size was the goal he was aiming for but twice the size was what was really needed.

The elevator reached the B-Level and Sebastian got out.
''Pompiedomdom. If I love you and you love me, then baby how can we go wrong?''

He continued his way towards the chambers.
''Chic freak sista fierce work those bitchy gams!''

He then realised he had reached the entrance of the chambers and the guards were looking at him funny (OOC: It's not a godmod, wouldn't you look funny at a 2.50 meter long green 'giant' with blue hair and a mechanic eye who said that sentence?).
He turned his eye to Comm Mode, for he didn't know if his request had been accepted to meet whomever he would be meeting.
''Comm Mode initiated.''
He saw that no reply had come in on his message.

Pythagoras sat inside the council chambers, bored out of his mind, "Sir, you have a message." Pythagoras nodded and took the message, "Hmm..."

From:Ambassadorial Court Moderator Pythagoras

I would love to see something going on around here, for I am deathly bored, meet me at the Ambassadorial Council Chambers whenever possible[/i]

Pythagoras then decided to go to the local bazaar, although he didn't understand why people around here called it a 'market', Pythagoras always looked stupid when he asked where the bazaar was, so today he would go and try to find it himself.

The Communicator of the Embassy wrote a message back that the Ambassador would be there within some minutes and then forwarded the sent message to the Ambassador. He didn't get the actual messages as his knowledge of Humana (English) came mostly out of movies and songs and that has had lead to previous problems.
''Message recieved. Beep beep. Encrypted, switching over to Ghattian language.''
The eye began saying that the audience was accepted and that the Ambassador could go in at anytime.

Sebastian repeated the sentence ''Chic freak sista fierce work those bitchy gams'' as he liked that part of the song and repeated that bit before he stood up and walked towards the entrance. Showing his pass to the guards, Sebastian caught one of the guard's thoughts. Ghat's were on a higher 'level' with their mental abilities than the normal human and while they could only get to the lower levels of reading minds and such and their training was longer than other races with the same possibilities as them, all higher persons got training to catch thoughts who were about them.

Sebastian said to one of the guards, while laughing: ''Yes, it is in proportion. What did you think? That we had those small things that you humans reproduce with? If you want the ratio, for every inch y'all have, we have one and a half. Now, let me pass.''

Sebastian wore tight pants together with a ''wifebeater'' and a leather jacket, looking quite casual. While in other cultures, atleast the human ones it was normal that people on higher positions always wore a suit and such while the lower people wore casual wear. In the Ghat culture, it was exactly the opposite, with the higher people earning the right to wear casual wear even on their work.
He was quite a handsome Ghat and that was what got him this position. With his long blue hair and buffed green body, he was the wet dream of every Ghat woman or man for that matter. After a incident, he got this position.

Sebastian walked through the entrance of the Chambers and waited for someone to guide him. It wasn't that he hadn't recieved maps of almost the entire station via all possible legal ways, but he felt more comfy to just wait and let someone guide him.

MilAmber sat at his desk finishing up some of the reports from earlier when a soft chiming sounded.

“Enter!”

The door sphinctered open and Karl entered.

“Ambassador, we have received a message from the Council.”

“Excellent, what did they say?”

“I am unsure, I haven’t opened it yet.” Karl handed MilAmber the still sealed message. “It was delivered a couple minutes ago by courier.”

MilAmber took the envelope and broke the seals. Taking the message out, he unfolded the message and read it quietly.

“Good, good. Things can finally proceed. I will leave at once to meet with this Moderator Pythagorus. Let me know if anything happens that needs my attention while I am away.”

“Yes Ambassador.”

After Karl left his office MilAmber finished the report he was working on and then sent a short message to Nhur-Galladu using the Space Minus Transmitter.

TO: Warlord Nhur-Galladu
FROM: Advisor MilAmber
RE: Meeting with JSA Council

Greetings Sire,

I have obtained an appointment to speak with Moderator Pythagorus, and afterwards the JSA Council, to address the issues we have had with their members. I will follow the plan you have given me and hopefully they will see logic and reason. If they try to use intimidation I will not tip our hand. I certainly hope direct intervention is not necessary but if that is the only option left to us it will be regrettable.

The Embassy has been completed and all systems are fully operational. The Shipmind running the compound is busy monitoring the communications systems as well as any others he has been able to access.

I will follow this message with a report on our meeting as well as any perceptions I have been able to discern.

Your Servant Always,
Advisor MilAmber

Soon after sending his message, MilAmber walked out the front door of the Ta’Nar Embassy and strolled at a leisurely pace to where he was to meet with Moderator Pythagorus. The walk was not far and it gave him a chance to see what everyone was like under JSA Rule. Of course MilAmber thought the people here would be on their best behavior, this was the seat of Power for the JSA and they would take great care to make sure everything looked proper. Fortunately one cannot hide much from a Ta’Nar and they never took things at face value, not when the Psions could easily drag whatever they wished from the minds of their guests. Of course MilAmber would not resort to outright attacks upon the people here on the station but listening into their surface thoughts passively was acceptable behavior. It would turn out mostly he would “hear” the same words the people were speaking for they unconsciously shouted their conversations into the environment around them, the reason so many Psions had to learn to block out “the voices” when they first became active. To hear the people in range of his talents, he only had to let his shield slip a tiny bit. Everything he “overheard” was just the day to day stuff and nothing important or worth notice (See Note Below).

Minutes later MilAmber was at the entrance to the Chambers to meet Moderator Pythagorus.

The small Pokosian diplomatic shuttle lurched out of warp around delta capita station. It glided gracefully towards the station until it came to a stop at a docking port. Once latched and a seal was made the doors opened to reveal the interior of the station. Eruresto and Laivine stepped off of the shuttle and walked into the station. There they waited for a bit as the rest of the embassy staff exited the shuttle and stood as a group. For a moment Eruresto thought that he had landed a very easy job. Not much different than formalizing the Commonwealth’s barony into the Galactic Empire. Here though, he was to represent the Commonwealth in an group of other alien diplomats in a greater scheme of things. It posed a challenge, but nothing he couldn’t handle if he put his beak to the grindstone. Finally, everyone was out, bags and crates on hover gurneys waiting near the hatch.

Once everyone was in a group he addressed them, resting his feathered hand on his mate’s shoulder.

“This is the plan, we shall go to the office given to us. We will show the utmost respect to everyone. We represent our people here, so do the other diplomats, they represent their people” Eruresto stated.

There was a consensus in the group and they set off for their new home for a while. They traveled to level B and the group fifteen avians reached the office and facilities that they were given. The rooms were spacious, and comfortable, more plush than any Pokosian was used to but pleasant enough. The staff began to unpack the crates and bags. One of the staff took out of a crate a massive golden Commonwealth emblem and hung it on the wall near the entrance.

Things were going well. Eruresto sat in the back office while the offices were being put together, reading his reports on the other diplomats that inhabited this station. He couldn’t help but think that it was going to be a long night.

The quiet foe is the one you need to pay heed, not the loudmouth attracting all the attention.

Adala Kylila Al Arrasiid, the Morningstar Coalition Ambassador to the Joint System's Alliance, frowned as he read the latest report on her slate. While normally non-JSA personnel were not allowed in the Council during official, internal sessions, those meetings were nonetheless recorded and the recordings eventually made public record aboard the station; minus any sensitive security issues. In this case, the report contained the mention of the nation of Sagittarius having withdrawn from the alliance. Adala swore in her native tongue and pressed the comm button to summon her aide. When the Khyrolii officer arrived, Adala handed him the slate with the report and sighed, "The Sagittarians left the JSA. Go to the Council secretary and postpone that audience. We need to get some more information from the Intelligence Corps before moving on this."

My sigged quotes got too long for Nationstates' signature limits, so now I'm collecting all future sig quotes HERE.

Now what? I have MilAmber there.

OOC: I, in a sense, relinquished the OP position of this thread to Hornopolis, Centuria, Protoss, or whatever the hell his name is now so sorry for the wait. Basically you talk about any issues that you have that may involve our council's attention. You may bring it up with the council and we will then deal with it accordingly.

Granted, but you stay in gerbil form for too long and can't change back. You are then put in your father's rectum during one of your parent's "kinky nights"

You can all remember me for my lack of dyingness.
