As of 1934...
The Vanavoian 4th Reich just lost the Second Rhine War to the Republic of Noxtrem, losing a large amount of land in a humiliating defeat. Now the Vanavoian 4th Reich is falling apart and losing control of its nation and borders. Communist rebels continue to go on strike and destroy imperial property in the western European nation, creating a large schism within the populace and setting the stage for a civil war. Whether or not their colonies will stay loyal to the Reich is uncertain as well.
Meanwhile, the Noxtremian Republic is enjoying the spoils of their newly annexed territories. The Rhineland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg all wave the banner of Noxtrem above their cities. However, with an unstable neighbor to their southwest, the Noxtremians might enjoy another indulgence...
Right north of Noxtrem is the Kingdom of Zealmark. Internally, Zealmark is flourishing. Their economy has never been larger. Thousands of men that grew up in poverty now have jobs and homes. They are under the rule of Christofer VI von Gregersen, age 39. Their border with Noxtrem however, has become increasingly intense. Christofer VI hopes to find a powerful ally to protect against Noxtrem.
South of Vanavoy is the Kingdom of Pistoiastan, a large kingdom in the Iberian peninsula ruled by a freshly placed fascist government. The new fascists seek nationalistic and imperialistic expansion of their borders, and wish for the reclaiming of lands that they claim were stolen from them. Most intensely hated is the Gold Union of Socialist Republics, which controls Gibraltar. The fascists wish to reconquer that stolen piece of land from their ideological enemies but whether or not they are well-equipped enough to do so is uncertain.
Across the pond in America lays a sticky situation. The Gold Union, previously a monarchy led by König-Kaiser Hans IV von Großer, has now been a socialist nation for 14 years. In 1920, the Socialist Party took over the union and quickly sent the young Emperor into exile abroad. The Socialists established the "Gold Union of Socialist Republics" and quickly began forming a socialist state. However, in the late 1920s, party member Conall Corcoran, who subscribed to a maximalist, totalist form of socialism, started a schism in the Socialist Party. However, after the father of the revolution Robert Smith died in 1933, his Vice Overseer John Davidson took the reigns of the GUSR. To mend the factional divide, Overseer John Davidson invited the Totalist Party leader Conall Corcoran into the government as Vice Overseer of the GUSR. However, Corcoran has plans of his own...
To the south of the GUSR is the State of Worris, which is governed by dictator Josef Boncour-Black. Josef's father, Gerard, overthrew the republican government and established a dictatorship in 1905. This new regime was authoritarian, sentencing enemies to labor camps and invading the Gold Union to steal the Marquette Peninsula (which was done successfully.) The new dictator, Josef Boncour-Black, rules perhaps the most powerful American nation with a fist of steel. Whether or not that fist of steel is used to build or destroy is unknown yet.
South of Worris is the United States of the Miltonia, an agricultural hotbed which has yet to give up liberty and democracy. The Latin American nation continues to contest the Worrisian State for the biggest American superpower, but the authoritarian Worrisians might beat them to the finish line through strict policies. Time will tell.
South of the Miltonia, all the way at the tip of South America, is the United Socialist Confederation of Standevia. Socialist rebels overthrew the old monarchy of Standevia and sent them into exile in the Falkland Islands. However, the small socialist nation is struggling to develop on its own, and might seek help from other socialists to succeed in the world.
Over in Asia is Panjal. The country was formed by 'God is Guilty,' a self proclaimed anti-democracy, anti-religion activist group who fled to the mountains after being denounced by nearly every capitalist nation. Soon after their disappearance in 1915, the group of about was assumed to be dead, their bodies lost in the mountains. But in 1936, a radio signal was received from the country, in which it officially declared its independence. Soon after, many like-minded individuals immigrated to the nation, which had now grown to a population of over 1 million.
Far north of Panjal were the Malikays, two arctic-Russian nations divided by political struggle. In the Eastern half was an authoritarian regime, held up by corrupt politicians and restless laborers. In the Western half was a small cradle of democracy, struggling to keep up with the rest of the world. The two underdeveloped nations receive little international attention, but with a few political tricks that could change at any time.
The nations of the world continue to fight, unite, make enemies of or befriend each other. The golden century has begun.

- Wars must be brief. No world wars. The maximum amount of nations fighting any other nation at one time is 2, unless it's a certain circumstance.

- The events of this RP are canon in the APSIA timeline. Please don't do anything so ridiculous that it wouldn't reflect into the modern day RPs.
