It was late at night, when Ronald Sepsis and his supporters arrived at Relo, the capital city of the State of Cardin. Back in November, the United States of Natan had a Presidential election. Ronald Sepsis, a prominent, controversial businessman, TV personality, and the Republican Party candidate, had lost to now-President Nicole Gross. Shortly thereafter, it was revealed that a prominent fascist-nationalist group in Natan, which had ties to the foreign terrorist government of Shemiki, was funding Sepsis's campaign, who was actively colluding with this foreign power to discredit Gross, seize control of the United States of Natan, and turn it into a fascist-run puppet state of shemiki. After this was revealed, Sepsis quickly fled the nation, and had been secretly harbored by foreign governments and groups, while Shemiki attempted to retain plausible deniability. Sepsis, after jumping around for several months, had returned, and backed by several more conservative states in the nation, was planning to take over the nation.

Sepsis, although himself not particularly intelligent, loved the attention he got, so he jumped at the opportunity to be the figurehead of the fascist-national movement. He arrived in Cardin, greeted by the State's governor, Felix Harsto. The State legislature had just voted to secede from the United States of Natan, and back Sepsis. FInally, Harsto thought, these states would have a strong leader, instead of Gross, who he believed to be weak and too compromising.

Along with Sepsis, several ships and troops from the Shemikian Military had arrived, to help defend Cardin, and presumably the states that followed, from the military might of the rest of the nation.

30 km west of Vesper, Northern Pales, The Novemics; Commonwealth Defense Forces Early Warning Station "Ghost 2"

5 am

Air Captain Ahked Higurashi was woken up by his executive officer, Air Lieutenant Grade 1 Yav Motoko. "Sir, we are getting strange radar and satellite pings from the Sea of Natan. We are picking up 15 ships, 12 of which are likely destroyers or frigates judging by the sat images. We also think there are 3 other larger vessels, aircraft carriers or battleships." said Lt. Motoko. "Hmm..." groaned the Captain. "It must be a Natanian battle group coming from some training exercise with Frankish Provence. Also, some of our ships are coming home to Kayem Point later today, as I heard." replied Captain Higurashi. "Sir, there is encrypted chatter, and their formations are not in standard Natanian naval postures. We intercepted some messages, but are having trouble diciphering them." said the Lieutenant. "Send them over to MIS, and I 'll be ready in 10 minutes. Send out an observation drone too." said the Captain.

A few minutes later, Captain Higurashi was looking at several screens; radar, satellite, and the first feed from the drone. He saw several ship silhouettes, but couldn't make out much detail because of the storm in the Sea of Natan. "The drone should be able to get close and get more details." said the Lieutenant. The drone got into its altitude for its observation. The remote pilot flying the drone zoomed in on the top deck and what would be the bridge of the largest vessel, what appears to be an aircraft carrier. Then everyone stood in shock when they saw the naval jack of the aircraft carrier: Royal Shemienese Navy. Shemiki was sailing up into the Sea of Natan. "Get me UDC and MOD." ordered the Captain.

5:30 am
Iyagure, the Novemics, Daietto House

Cabinet President Jessica Zoidberg was woken up by Zayn Shinya, the principal private secretary of the CP that rushed to Daietto House when he received a call from the Ministry of Defense. "Yes, Zayn? What's going on?" asked Zoidberg sleepily. "Ma'am, one of the EWS's in the north reported a Shemienese fleet sailing up the Sea of Natan. We didn't pick it up earlier because of the storm preventing better data. We assumed it was a Natanian battle group returning from an exercise earlier in the week. "Shemiki is sailing to Natan?" asked Zoidberg confused. "What is going on?" "Also, Ma'am, we intercepted messages from the fleet, and they were de-crypted by MIS Cipher Office. Those messages were orders for occupying a port and USN Naval Stations in the State of Cardin. "Get the UDC and the Cabinet Committee on National Security to Daietto immediately. Also, inform the Natanian Ambassador and send messages to the Natanian Department of Defense." ordered CP Zoidberg. "Yes, ma'am". Zayn rushed out the door to his office one level below. His assistants came in just as he walked in the door and he told them the situation.

It was now early morning. In a very short amount of time, Sepsis and Harsto would hold a joint press conference in front of the State Capitol to announce to the world that the Cardin General Assembly had just voted to declare independence, and would be operating as an independent nation until other Sepsis-supporting states had decided to join in and form a new nation.

"Ladies and gentleman, Governor Harsto!" the Press Secretary announced. "Hello, people of Cardin! Today I would like to announce the return home of the great patriot, Ronald Sepsis! This great Natanian hero has returned home to lead us away from the corrupt government of Nicole Gross! No more shall we have to suffer under her tyranny of single payer and liberal policies! As of today, the General Assembly has voted to secede from the United States of Natan! It is regrettable that we had to take such extreme measures, but we must not remain under the thrall of that bitch. Should the Natanian Military attempt to stop us, the Sheminese Royal Forces are here to defend us."

The phones were ringing off the hook in the office section of the Daietto. Aides, permanent secretaries, and other staff were all running around with papers, talking on phones, and searching for files. The upper level of Daietto, the residential level for the Cabinet President and her family, was quiet. Jessica's children were on their way to school, and her husband Akira was in Wittgenstein for a three-day public function.

The Cabinet Committee on National Security just adjourned and gave the CP two pieces of advice: it is possible to make Shemiki to pull out their forces with both sanctions and with military pressure fairly quickly. Also, civil unrest in Natan could be prevented if diplomacy and coordination between our security forces (Nonus and Natanian intelligence services) on information gathered the last few months of calamity. The CCNC just received word from Natanian intelligence about the secession of Cardin from the USN an hour before the Sepsis Cardin press conference.

Minister Gloria Viscount, in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met up with the CP in a small conference room near the CP's office. "We will get international support easily, and Shemiki will pull out within a few days, I can guarantee it." said the Minister. "It's likely. Shemiki is not in an ideal position to wage a war against a nuclear-state and a good military." replied Zoidberg. "Of course, Natan will need some help from us as we can provide something to tip the scales quickly and this secession issue may add complications for their government." said Viscount. "Our WA Ambassador and our Regional Assembly delegation will have to have a vote on any resolutions that will come in those bodies. We need a plan." stated Zoidberg. "Yes ma'am." said Viscount. Viscount left and Zoidberg lingered for a minute more, thinking about international support.

Zoidberg then went up to her office to relax for a few minutes. "We are still dealing with the terrorist attacks four months ago and now this." she sighed and said to herself. "I need to ask what President Gross will do. We'll need her input on this." She got on the "Hotline", the direct communications link between Daietto House and Clinton House in Rodham.

"Yes ma'am." said the AG, "I already have a plan to give to Minister Viscount".

Zoidberg went up to her office to relax for a few minutes. "We are still dealing with the terrorist attacks four months ago and now this." she sighed and said to herself. "I need to ask what President Gross will do. We'll need her input on this." She got on the "Hotline", the direct communications link between Daietto House and Clinton House in Rodham.

Back in Rodham, President Gross had just watched the press conference, and assistants were scurrying about the offices, trying to mitigate this. The President herself had just gotten off the phone, after attempting to reach Governor Harsto. In an hour, her Cabinet was to meet to discuss the matter, which Congress was no doubt debating as well. The United States of Natan Intelligence Community had been monitoring the situation for months, and had just found Sheminese ships headed for Cardin, but didn't want to create an international incident by immediately attacking in the dead of night.

Suddenly, the Natanian-Novemics hotline rang. "Hello, this is President Gross."

"Good morning, President Gross. I imagine you are having a terrific time right now. What's Cardin's status?"

"They've just seceded. I currently have the military surrounding the State, but I'm still waiting for my cabinet to arrive and for Congress to make a decision regarding the matter as well. So what brings you to call me?"

"Well, Madam President, I am calling to ask on your opinion on international support for Natan, as well as Nonus help, diplomatically and possibly militarily. Foreign Minister Viscount is working with the Commonwealth WA Ambassador and the Nonus delegation to the Regional Assembly on the inevitable resolutions coming from those organizations. We should coordinate diplomatically on this, as we all want a peaceful resolution to this. But if military force is to be used, how should that happen? Of course, Cardin and all internal matters are your jurisdiction, but Shemiki is the external factor. This civil insurrection could end in a matter of days with enough international pressure on Shemiki to withdraw. Plus, The Commonwealth Defense Forces can also send a strong message to Shemienese forces.

With our intelligence cooperation, we will send the info we got from Carver Jones, the Nonus terrorist who helped Sepsis, and now is sitting in jail waiting for his trial. There is one piece of information that is strange that we got from Jones, and it is cryptic: he said that Shemiki has already won. We should both watch our backs. We are still recovering from the bomb attacks in Iyagure and Wittgenstein. You do have a strong right wing element in your nation?"

"Thank you, Jessica." With that, President Gross hung up. "Madam President, the cabinet members have arrived." "Thank you, Sarah," the President said as she went to cabinet conference room. Everyone in the room immediately stood as she entered. "Sit down, everyone," she said as she walked to her seat. She turned to the Secretary of Defense. "Esther, do we have any military troops in the state?" "Yes, ma'am, primarily at Fort Isaacs." "I want them withdrawn, along with all the equipment. Should they decide to attack, I don't want them, or the equipment, falling into sheminese hands. How are we doing on the order to Federalize the Cardin National Guard?" "General Seymour has refused the order, ma'am," the Secretary said. "They've aligned themselves with the Governor." "Very well, then," The President said.

By now, word had spread of Cardin's secession. Sheminese forces guarded the border, making a suppression of the insurrection nearly impossible. However, USN Forces had also surrounded the area, resulting in a stalemate, that would likely only be broken when shooting began. By now, several other States in the conservative south, bolstered by Cardin, also began seceding, with varying success. In some states, the governors opposed secession, and were deposed by the legislature as a result. In others, the USN government was able to stop secession through various means. Ultimately, however, the nation became divided. The several seceding states also formed a convention to form a new nation and constitution, which they intended to call the "United States of Sepsis", after their founder and glorious leader, Ronald Sepsis. Backed by the Sheminese forces, the new nation was able to ward off attackers, but knew they must organize quickly, for the USN forces would surely not stand for this much longer.

"The Senate will come to order. The clerk will read a communication to the Senate," Democratic Senator Lewis Foley declared, as the murmuring in and whispers in chamber died down. "Rodham, DN, July 28, 2017. To the Senate: Under the provisions of Rule 1, Paragraph 7, of the Standing Rules of the Senate, I hereby appoint the honorable Lewis Foley, a Senator from the State of Yalgros, to perform the duties of the chair. "Mr. President," Senator Opal Davis, one of the Senators from Sholoma, and Democratic Majority Leader of the Senate, said as she stood. "The Majority Leader," The presiding officer said. "Mr. President, I stand before you today to address the dire issue of the secession of many States from the Southern portion of our country. Something must be done about this, before our nation is torn apart, especially considering these secessionists have the backing of a traitor as well as a terrorist government. That is why we must pass this bill, to authorize the President the full use of force if she needs it, to suppress this insurrection. I motion to proceed to a vote on this bill."

With that, Senator Foley said, "any seconds?" "I second the motion," Senator Josh Garrison said. "All in favor?" "Yea!" The majority of the room shouted. "All opposed?" "Nay!" a smaller number shouted. "In the opinion of the chair, the yeas have it." "The vote shall be recorded. Senators shall have 15 minutes to cast their votes," Senator Foley declared, banging the gavel.

15 minutes later, the vote ended. "The yeas are 220, the nays are 10." "The measure passes." Now it would be up to the House of Representatives to vote on the bill as well.

Cabinet President Jessica Zoidberg took to the podium in front of a room full of reporters and journalists from major newspapers and cable news networks. Cameras flashed and several reporters stood and raised their hands and asked for a statement from the CP. "Thank you everyone." She told the press pool. "You will be live in two minutes, ma'am." said the Chief Press Officer of the Cabinet Support Office Presidential Section. Jessica looked at the crowd while the Press Officer counted down to zero.

"Good evening, my fellow Nonus. Today was a tumultuous day for everyone in the Novemics and in Natan. On July 11, around 5 am Central Standard Time, the Defense Forces detected a fleet in the Sea of Natan that was not of any Regional nation, nor any other nation with diplomatic relations with the Region. It was the fleet of a nation that is not on good terms with the Region: the Royal Shemienese Fleet. In cooperation with the Natanian government and security services, we have discovered that the presence of Shemiki in the Region is to support a secessionist government in several southern Natanian states. These secessionists are in league with Ronald Sepsis, who was also discovered to have returned to Natan. Given that Shemiki has aided several international criminals and is now taking unlawful action in the Region, the Commonwealth Cabinet has decided to enact sanctions against Shemiki per Section 4 Subsection B of the General Economic Sanctions Act of 2007, with the Councils' approval of new sanctions against certain Shemienese individuals and companies, and other individuals and entities supporting Sepsis, which shall come to the floor of the 600 and of the Provinces tomorrow morning. Furthermore, forces in the western coast of the Novemics shall be reinforced with troops, ships, and aircraft and these forces shall maintain general alert and battle-ready status. The international community shall not stand for this terrible act of aggression against our Regional partners and against peace in general. The Commonwealth Cabinet requests resolutions and other actions in accordance with international law and Regional laws to further put pressure on Shemiki to withdraw."

Jessica stayed on for a few minutes to answer some questions. "Madam Cabinet President, what is the Natanian reaction to the Shemienese support of Sepsis and the secessionists?" asked Foreign Affairs Correspondent Veronica Kawakami of the Iyagure Journal. "Natanian reaction is of shock and disbelief in that Sepsis is pursuing criminal action in achieving his political goals, and that Shemiki has decided to support such a criminal. The Commonwealth does not recognize this secessionist government and condemns Shemiki's role in it." A few more questions later, and the CP leaves the podium to return upstairs.

Ronald Sepsis was just sworn in as President of the Sepsis Republic, formerly the United States of Sepsis. Already, the first state to recognize the Republic was Shemiki, but few others have done so, and the World Assembly had condemned the secession effort as an "illicit, hostile takeover performed by a foreign nation in an attempt to spread their dangerous ideology." Sepsis wanted to make a stand, and show that nasty Nicole Gross that he meant business. So, he immediately went Congress to ask permission to launch a war, with the aid of Sheminese forces. It was really just a formality though, a rubber stamp. Sepsis's administration was virtually in complete control of the nation. The Congress and State Governments existed only in formality; he held the real power, while not realizing that the King of Shemiki himself held the power behind him. After receiving permission, Sepsis, in the dead of night, ordered sheminese bombers to attack the USN forces at their weak point, hoping to create an opening for attack, and hopefully bring more states under his control soon enough.

[Frankish Provence]

While it is known that Provence has a "cold" relationship with the USN. Mainly stemming from the Frankish communist ideology. And the Government has been known to back successionist movements in the past. Provence will stand with the Nonus and USN governments. While having a much more liberal left wing USN government will certainly improve relations between the two nations, as the conservative or right wing portion of the USN succeeded. It was agreed having a strong united USN is in the end more beneficial than a having a divided nation that could spill into war any second. However Provence cannot openly offer support, as the nation is aligned with Shemeki. The two nation have strong economic ties with each other. With Shemeki being Provence's second largest trading partner (first being UKA).

President De Gaulle has sent the following telegrams to the USN and Nonus governments.

You have a friend in Provence. While we cannot openly condemn Shemeki in this whole affair (for reasons you know). And while  I will also have to condemn the use of sanctions against Shemeki.  We are willing to offer what support we can, which can be supplied discreetly.

President De Gaulle press statement

" We condemn the use of sanctions against Shemeki, such things should be done after diplomatic solutions have been exhausted. Not before they was even considered. And if the Nonus USN governments think this will force Shemeki to come to the table and work out a peace deal. They are wrong, The Shemeese nation is not depdent on Nonus or Natanian trade and the sanctions leveled against them will have little economic impact as a result. Instead what the Nonus USN governments have done is create a reason for the Shemeese to not go to the table to talk things out."

With that President De Gaulle left the podium. Getting Shemeki to come to peace talks will be difficult. As such things will be viewed as "caving in". The Shemeese like strong leaders and now coming to the talks with nothing will make the current Shemeese leader look weak. Something he cannot afford.

When asked about President De gaulle's recent statements regarding the conflict, The Clinton House Press Secretary replied, "Shemiki has violated our sovereignty and is providing aid to traitors. They'll either come to the table now, under sanctions, or later, with guns pointed at their backs. President Gross has one demand: withdraw your forces from the rebelling states, or risk your refuse at your own peril. Such terrorists cannot be negotiated with, and must either withdraw their forces, or be expelled by force."

"The Commonwealth Government desires a peaceful solution to this crisis, as do all other nations in the Region. But this brazen attack on one of our regional partners must have some element of pressure on the aggressor nation to withdraw. Sanctions, and the possible use of military force, is well within that." stated the General Chief Press Officer of the Cabinet Support Office.

"Last boarding call for Nonus Airways Flight 1904 from Wittgenstein to Steelixton," announced the boarding gate attendant at Gate 7 of the International Terminal. "Uitogenshutain kara Sutirikkusuton e no Nonusu Kōkū Furaito 1904 no saishū tōjō," repeated the gate attendant in Nonus. The last of the 204 passengers and crew boarded the Skytrain B321LR commercial airliner.

"Welcome aboard ladies and gentlemen. This is Flight Captain Frank Amano, and I am the chief flight officer and commander of the plane. Today we are flying from Wittgenstein/Himitsu Yosai International to Steelixton International. The flight will take approximately 4 hours and 12 minutes. "Copy, Natanian ATC Central..." Suddenly there was an explosion. "Report!" ordered Captain Amano. "Right engine has suddenly exploded and is offline. I am not sure of the cause. Malfunction? Looks like some sort of USN Air Force plane, maybe a recon plane." replied a secessionist operator of the SAM vehicle that was captured by secessionist forces during the USN military evacuation from Cardin. It was a tight race to the office, however it was secured by a good hundred thousand votes. Jonathon beat Emergency President Thorne's campaign fair in square with ease. However there still was a sense of lost to him, as he nearly lost it. One hundred thousand votes secured him the seat. One hundred thousand can remove him from it. Especially since Thorne's running mate has begun an all out smear campaign. However it does not matter. Jon must get on with business of making Canibis known on the world stage. And this report is just what it needs. However it's unlikely it's new president will grant it what it needs.

"Civil War in Natan?" Jon questioned

"Yes sir, a distant country indeed, but just close enough that our forces can get there quickly in order to provide support for the true government of Natan." His adviser and close friend Olly Andrews stated.

Jon stared at the report

"Fascists are funny business aren't they. Why should I provide our men to die for another nation's benefit? We need our men more than others do. I'm sure that they will survive on their own without our support. After all it is just a state that seceded, not half the country." Jon spoke calmly.

However Andrews didn't want to listen. He was annoyed at his President and friend's nearly pacifist nature. His claims to reduce the military into a smaller more manageable state of elite troops. The military's across the continent already outnumber them nearly ten to one. And now it is under threat. This only furthered his thoughts on joining Slynt and Thorne in their plans of their own coup of the President. He may be a old friend of Jon, but this was the final straw.

Alliser wasn't listening, He knew what he was focused on. He may hate him, but for one thing he knew Jon wouldn't do the wrong thing.

"Give him his due Janos. Give the man his due. He is the most powerful person currently in the country, and now my president. That doesn't make him any less your just because we lost. Give him his due and perhaps we will get what we want."

Janos nodded angrily and left the room leaving Alisser to do his work

Jon stared at this newest report. The situation is escalating drastically. Anywhere from nations mobilizing to ships moving. It was all happening. Countries moving their dignitaries and troops like pieces on a game board. Is it all just a game to them? Is it? These are lives. men with families and aspirations, and yet they are just pieces on another person's game board. Countries rise and fall, and lately it is often caused by those men on the board. Who is he playing with? Who is playing with him? It does not matter. The situation in Natan is escalating. And right now waht Canibis needs is to see war. That way it knows that it does not need it. He sighed and clicked on his computer. HE typed out a message to the Secretary of the Military, and sent it. He then began typing out a statement to the people and the senate.

'My fellow people of Canibis. The growing tension on the national stage has caused me to act within the best interest of our nation. They say a threat is best to be kept as eliminated as possible...'

"No they don't say that you idiot."

'My fellow Canibisers I speak to you as...'

"No that is to corny every. Every President says that."

'People of Canibis, the world is ever changing. Constantly progressing like a unstoppable black hole shooting through the universe. This means that our great nation is within that universe that is ever changing. Witch means that we can either stand idly as things fall apart, or we can make a stand and do something about it. That is why I have decided to mobilize our armed forces within the best interest of our nation. We must defend the national sovereignty of the true government of Natan. They may not be within our neighborhood of this universe, but that does not mean we should not act to secure the freedom and prosperity of the true sovereign government of Natan. Thus I hereby ask permission of the senate to declare war upon all current enemies of the nation of Natan, and order to Lord Commander of our armed forces to mobilize immediately. Jon finished the statement. He sent it to his secretary to handle printing it for his address tomorrow. He got up from his chair and walked as fast as he could towards the exit. He needs to get home as soon as possible and get as much sleep as he can. Tomorrow is going to be a long and frantic day. He greeted his security guards at the door. And was off. Who knows how the other nations will react to his words tomorrow. Did he choose the right words? He doesn't know how the world will react. "Ma'am, the Joint International Investigative Team for the Nonus Airways Flight 1904 Disaster has submitted its report to the governments of the victims' nationalities; the Novemics, Natan, and Frankish Provence. It has been confirmed that Flight 1904 was shot down by a SAM SA-45 mobile unit, a common anti-air vehicle used by the USN Army. This particular unit was captured by secessionist forces in early July when the Natanian government ordered a full evacuation of its forces in Cardin. This unit was still in maintenance, so it was abandoned while all other functioning units were pulled within 24 hours. When secessionist militias went through the abandoned fort, they discovered the unit and managed to get it to functioning condition. There were some SAM ordinance warheads that were abandoned when the truck carrying them ran off the road a few miles north of the fort. The secessionists also managed to load them into their missile fuselages and prepare the missiles for firing." stated the invited chief investigator for the Nonus in the Investigative Team, Yosuke Smith.

"Thank you, Mr. Smith." replied Cabinet President Jessica Zoidberg. Yosuke Smith left the room while the rest of the CCNS had a discussion for only a few, privileged ears.

"Our intelligence observation team in the secessionist state of Cardin also discovered that there were some USN Army defectors. Particularly, four heavy vehicle technicians, who all defected in the early days of the secessionist wave in Natan. Natanian intelligence knew about these defectors but were having a hard time finding them, like us." replied Director-General Ursula Aki of the Overseas Intelligence Service.

"Secessionists have claimed responsibility for shooting down a 'USN Air Force recon aircraft' in the early hours of the downing of Flight 1904, but some small secessionist units later retracted that claim after 3 hours when they discovered that the downed aircraft was a commercial airliner. Shemiki and the secessionist forces still claim it to be a USN recon plane; Ronald Sepsis also believes that the aircraft was military and not civilian." stated the UDC Chair, Air Marshal Yukiko Dover.

"The downing of the flight has also caused some nations outside of the Natan Region to consider giving military aid to Natan, including deployment of armed units. So far, the Natanian government has not stated anything on this matter. The Canibis Republic of the North Pacific, and the Pan-Asian Empire of Japan and Pacific States of the Commonwealth Federation have both declared intention of assisting Natan. OIS Cipher Office has intercepted these encrypted overtures to Natan and decoded them." replied Foreign Minister Gloria Viscount.

"Ma'am, we have to think of contingency plans of other nations getting involved that are not from the Region, and that this disaster may require action beyond sanctions and diplomatic haggling at the WA and the Regional Assembly. We should consider asking a joint operation with Natan: Natanian forces retaliate against the secessionists in Cardin while we retaliate against Shemiki naval forces. That would send a message to Shemiki, Sepsis, and the secessionists to stop. Shemiki would be dealing with another nation attacking them, and there would be diminishing support for Sepsis and his secessionist allies. We need to put the squeeze on Shemiki. It was no secret since Japan had won the Asia-Pacific war in 1946 it had become universally hated and envied as a military powerhouse and economical powerhouse, the country was undermined numerous times by foreign countries seeking to take over from Japan, one thing the Shogun herself had become accustomed to dealing with, this time would be no different. She would seek to gain the support of the four other regent houses of Japan as they, the Emperor and herself were the true power in Japan, not the national diet or any other imperial ministry. Stepping into a somewhat dimly lit room she was greeted by the heads of the four regent houses of Japan. First was Lady Takatsukasa Kyoko of regent house Takatsukasa, a member of the royal guard herself and Japan's ambassador to the United States of America, second, & thirdly, after her were the heads of the houses of Kujou, Ikaruga, and Saionji.

"Gentlemen and lady. I assume everyone is here because they've also heard the news?" Shogun Meiya had said walking to her seat at the head of the table. To which all present responded with "Yes" in unison. "So I assume you all know what actions should be taken and what I consider to be acceptable margins for risk, as you all know we cannot stand idly by as a potential for leadership in a country no matter how insignificant to us to flourish and become an adversary to us. So I suggest we deal with the threat in the one way I consider to be best for our empire, we deploy a small contingent of Imperial Guard to work with the current fascist government and offer whatever support we can to them." Shogun Meiya sat back in her seat while she spoke a holographic projector on the table had turned on running multiple simulations showing favourable results for the Royal guard should they be sent in but a slight degree of others showing a least favourable outcome to which she weighed in her mind... What if Japan were to also send equipment for the Sepsis military? To which she input into the simulations from the console at her position on the table leaning forward she watched as more simulations ran, as did the others in the room.

At one point in Japan's history they had relied on an ally of whom was fascist... Sepsis's status as a traitor is not undue, as he plotted with this foreign terrorist enemy to overthrow the government and turn the USN from a democracy to a fascist puppet state of our enemy.
