At Approximately 0000 Hours, President Jim Stone launched an all-out war against his old enemy, Karl. Today, Sierra Apathia will Deploy 3 Million Troops To The Eastern Border Of Kaledo, and conduct an invasion. Bombers will attack Kaledo's Capital, Norfolk, and attempt to raze the city. Paramilitaries will Land Close to The Main cities, and blockade the evacuating refugees. Hence, The operation will be called:

Kaledo Has Initiated a Defensive blockade in Norfolk City, and has evacuated the civilians to train stations. All Forces in the country has been alerted, and have drawn attention to its eastern borders. Despite the lack of troops, Kaledo will maintain a defensive position until a ceasefire can be called upon.

Kaledo Has responded by sending a peace delegate to Greenwich, and has already left Norfolk. All VIPs have been evacuated to Other countries, and has initiated a state of emergency.

Sierra Apathian Forces have started Invading Kaledo From The East, and A Border clash between Heavily armed Apathian Forces, and ill-trained Kaledo Forces is currently being fought. The battle is fought in the desert which, the border crosses. Heavy casualties are expected.

Several Bombers On-route To Norfolk City have been shot down, and Apathian fighters have retreated to help the Apathian forces attacking the east. Sierra Apathia engages in a no-nuke policy, which was agreed by the two nations earlier this Month. But now, it seems the non-aggression pack has been broken.

Kaledo Has responded with heavy artillery on the eastern side, and have started bombing West Apathian Cities. Conscription has been used, an more than 43,000 have already been conscripted.

The government of Sierra Apathia has the support of the Democratic Islamic Republic in its war against Kaledo. As long as the Apathian government allows refugees to escape the war-zone and does not intentionally target civilians, they can count on our support. Since Apathia already greatly outnumbers Kaledo we will not be providing any direct assistance at the moment as we feel that the Apathian forces will be more than capable of conquering Kaledo.

However, we want to reassure the Apathian government that we will intervene militarily on Apathia's behalf if other foreign powers move to attack it. We do not object to foreign funding and material support for the forces of Kaledo, but we view any direct military intervention as an unnecessary escalation of the war and an attack on a nation that is friendly to us.

We wish the Apathian forces luck as they continue their military campaign.

Several Hours ago, The state of Suave has declared itself militarized, and have succumbed to Kaledo Forces. It seems that Sierra Apathia is losing the propaganda war, and the war on attrition too. Earlier today, Apathian forces suffered a heavy blow to insurgents in the outlying towns, and have retreated back to the borders, with some still retreating further east. Hence, the government of Sierra Apathia has declared a strategic plan, which involves the Naval Bombing of Norfolk City. Now, the first naval battle of the war is to be fought in Kaledoian waters, and it won't be long before we either see Apathians running away, or Norfolk being occupied. The 13th Naval Group, alongside 1/3 of Apathia's air force will cover operation Death's Teardrops. The battle will be called, The Battle of the Kaledoian Gulf.

After acheiving a very spectacular win, the war is now mostly concentrated in the Kaledoian Gulf, where they believe is a battle for naval superiority in the war. Most of the naval fleet of Kaledo have been dispatched to counter the threat of a naval invasion.

As the U.S.C. fleet arrived in the Kaledonian gulf before most of the others. The troops landed on the shore and awaited orders from a Kaledonian officer whom they were ordered to differ to. The leet meanwhile took up defensive positions and fighters and bombers were launched from the carrier. 70 aircraft patrolled the skies.

ooc: 3 million troops for aiding another nation is pretty high. i mean if your invading a well defended coast or defending your home then 3,000,000 is alright.
