In a surpise skirmish, a large fleet of nearly 400 thousand Fins ships, returning from a successful, massive attack on interstellar pirates, caught the fleet over the capital by surprise. The Fins fleet took heavy losses, but reinforcements from the capital, turned the tables. The Fanian Armada was forced to assist, having been fired on by Techoligian ships. With the advantage on the Fins' side, the void fleet was forced to retreat. The Fins fleet took heavy casualties, being reduced to a force of 200 thousand. They kept their guard up around the Fanian fleet, which remained over the capital for some reason. They hope that they are waiting for orders to return.

The New Fanian Armada is positioned in central Sunrisland. Meanwhile, 6 Space Lasers bombard the artillery bases in Techoligia.

The Armada is also assisted by the 'Asteroid' Fleet.

In response to recent hostilities, Prime Minister Jonathan Benia addressed Parliament and the War Office in a Top Secret meeting as such:

"Our glorious republic is in no position to intevene in the rising conflict, seeing as our military forces were disbanded after almost going to war with Techologia. It will take some time to rebuild our forces. Conscription won't be needed in the foreseeable future but we will be diverting funds to your ministry for recruiting, Tabitha. That being said, our economy is among the most powerful in the 10KI region, and our industrial output is considered a powerhouse.

This brings us to our course of action: we will not intervene... yet. But, as we believe in the ideology of highly regulated capitalism over syndicalism, and believe it is more beneficial for our security,we will offer support to the secessionist country through diverting billions of dollar's worth of supplies in secret shipments to them, using a convoluted route through New Fania, whom are supporting the rebellion. Utmost secrecy is required, lest our participation is discovered. When the time is right... Techologia may well burn in nuclear fire."

New Fanian IT Companies are rapidly expanding in Pax Athena, this has resulted in enormous economic growth for both New Fania, and Pax Athena. Meanwhile the Ministry of Defense asks the government of Pax Athena, if they need defense equipment.

The Techoligian ships began their descent at the crack of dawn; metal birds swooping down to their prey.
"They're attacking!"
"Shots confirmed!"
"Get the AA guns up, keep your eyes in the air!"
It was an otherwise slow day for the Chotyo Defence Force. Having seen defeat time and time again, the Fins government made sure the defence was well-funded, and highly intelligent. Three generals generals stationed there, just so they can plan as many defence scenarios as possible. Techoligia, as predictably as ice melting, attacked from the air. Not long after the first shots were fired, the orders to take to the air were recieved.

A young, foreign conscript, James O'Brian, excitedly boarded the ship. The Mary-Anne. An odd English, name apparently told in ancient stories from before the cold war. He was hungry for battle, and the Fins, far too happy to deliver. As the Mary-Anne began to rise from the ground, James approached the captain. "Uh, sir?"
"Yes, private?" He responded absent-mindedly, still flying the ship.
"Wh-what're our orders again?"
"Shoot the bastards!" He laughed, "now get back to your post!"
"Yessir,"
James approached his seat in the air gun. "Only the finest leather for the finest army in the world!" He remembered his PT sergeants reciting every week.

The Mary-Anne, a large ship with nearly 20 crewmen, approached the attacking fleet. Small Techoligian ships challenged the might of the Fins defence. James looked through the gun's targeting systems. He fires at some smaller ships, probably one or two crewmen, while his gun-mate lined up the shots. They're too fast for him. He swings the guns around, to see something terrifying. His gun-mate lets out a cry of fear, being a veteran of the swarm war, a ship of that size was very familiar to him. Across the city, the largest Techoligian ship one could hope to ever see was hovering over the palace. Before James could react, a single blast took the shields down and severely damaged the boosters of the Mary-Anne. In his earpiece, The Mary-Anne's captian gave the order.
"We're going to feign a crash, keep your guns online!"
you're crazy James thought to himself.
"Yes sir!" He and his gun-mate responded.

The ship began to rotate towards the ground, leaving James with a perfect shot of the enemy ship's cooling systems. The entire ship recoiled, as they hit the ground, just outside the city... The dust settled, and James was still alive, somehow. The large Techoligian ship turned to the Chotyo palace. James's gun-mate aimed the gun directly on to ship's cooling cells, as it was forced to enter cooldown mode after a hit from an allied ship.

"Fire, dammit!," his gun-mate shouted. James blanked out, the battle was too much for him. The shout brought him back to the moment. He looked back out to the battle. He saw his shot, charged his gun fully and fired.
The ship's cooling cell burst in flames. Soon, the whole ship overheated, and began to fall to the ground. The ship landed directly on the city walls and many apartments. Thank the stars we evacuated the citizens James thought.

"That was incredible! Did you see that captain?"

With the largest ship on the ground, the rest soon fled or were shot down.
The Mary-Anne was still on the ground. The ship's engine seemed to have exploded upon impact. James was lucky to be alive.

We must note that if their ally, the UNpoopburg, join them, as their industry is 10000, it may be enough to close the difference. We cannot risk an extremely close cyberattack, so we must strike with utmost speed and secrecy, lest those UNpoopbergians come to assist. Military analysts believe we must press home our advantage as quickly as possible, before the attack is repelled by the UNpoopberg. Possibly with a lightning attack using combined arms? We have paratroopers, tanks, and void legion standing by (courtesy of New Fania) ready for bombardment and hit & run attacks. Military assistance is requested to other coalition members.

OOC; The Espionage Act was passed 100 years and 3 days ago in America in response to it's joining of WWI. It was received negatively, with many viewing it as a curtailing of liberty.

The Techoligian Military stands at the gates of Foretrukk city, and the Techoligian navy, numbering almost 30 super heavy Battleships, 10 Missle cruisers, 100 destroyers and an unknown amount of submarines begin an assault on the New Fanian fleet, losing about 30% of their strength but forcing a retreat by the New Fanians.

Speaking of Democracy, It's election time!

Yes, like an independence referendum perhaps? Lets hope Sunrisland doesn't turn to Northern Ireland 2.0 with decades of political instability and terrorism.

On the bright side, the IT cooperation between the coalition members could signal the start of an era of prosperous economic cooperation which would hopefully aid our countries in retooling our economies after an uneventful war.

*These tanks are designed to quietly infiltrate enemy lines and distract them, opening up a flank for a larger force to exploit.
