Despite the embargo, Techoligian Foreign Aid cargo vessels are entering Finswedeway waters, along with a Techoligian Research vessel.
The Dock that Techoligian trade ships would normally enter receives a video message:
There is a skinny, black haired man with glasses sitting in a chair in front of the screen. He looks down at a small machine on a necklaces in his hands, marked 'Translator', and puts it on, pressing a button to activate it.
"Good day! This is the Techoligian Science Vessel TNS Narilland. We are accompanying a Techoligian foreign aid fleet which is carrying construction materials, food, water, and a few special items." He smiles wide. "As a motion of good faith and of concern for your citizens on the dangers of Nuclear Fission, we are bringing 3 Techoligian Mark 5 fusion reactors. Feel free to reverse-engineer the technology. Consider this a gift to the new government, and to the people of Finswedeway."
He turns off the translator. "Auf Wiedersehen!" The transmission cuts off.
In response to the gratitude, The Empress has decided to repeal the embargo. Especially with her people leaning more towards the left, The Empress would not an enemy without a reason.
Copies of the technology sent were almost immediately made, as the science department had been given a boost in funds.
Pax Athena has also decided to send schematics of it's most advanced Fifth Generation Reactors, which are incapable of meltdown, and have achieved extremely high efficiency rates. The Fins should combine their understanding of this with the Techoligian's tech to achieve an optimal design.
In a private meeting, Hassan al-Dimaq questioned the Fins in a cryptic tone, "I do wonder, why is it that some of your regions are still using Third Generation Reactors. They have design flaws that lead them to meltdown in rare cases, while Fourth Gen ones are cheap and much safer, and introduced worldwide about 4 decades ago, in the 2020s. Anyways, the schematics have been uploaded, good day."
