See, those are small-baby-person numbers.
Kratna at least had the decency to erradicate entire cities of their children to make a viable battalion of super-soldier gals to pilot their mecha-army.

We’ll have it destroy evidence after the fact. Then the Vannish can say there were dangerous insurgents there. Oh we certainly didn’t mean to wreck the bank. I mean, we didn’t even know it was a bank.
Intel told us it was a weapons storage facility. Bad intel. Very bad, bad intel. So I guess we just won’t be held responsible and will bury the story in the news cycle ASAP. Conspiracy? Vangaziland? Nooo.
There’s room for Hurti soldiers to also move to the bank and help with the grab.

Personally, I was just counting on calling in a single MLRS on the bank and raiding the ruins while team pulls perimeter-security.
Everything after that is just exfil.
... I just suggested a very Hurti thing and it actually made sense again, didn't I?

That sounds like a very payday thing to say

It is something that'll be longer term. I wanna set up some stuff with the first mission profile (it'll come about a third of the way into my first idea) that'll set up stuff that comes later. But I wanna be a super sekrit boye for that stuff for now.

Mortars could have adverse effects, like burying the vault in rubble or something like that. But it’s still an idea.
Taking out ADA/anti air assets is a good idea. We plan to call for fire. We could get fun and use different assets for different ADA pieces. For example, maybe we call a rocket on a more armored missile truck. But maybe our team will call to yours to set up a mortar strike on more of an AAA gun pit.

Vangaziland wrote:I could do the breakroom if people wanted.
As far as teams, I visualized 4. RPers can pick which role fits best. -One team lands on the roof by stealth helicopter. Vangaziland has these in country because of the ongoing conflict.
-Another team will basically assault the bank and take the funds. There may be a lot of assets, so it might take a lot of people to physically remove the cash.
-A weapons team will be on the ridge. Since hostilities have died down in Yanjin, they have become somewhat lax. Most soldiers will be in a barracks building down the road. The weapons team will ambush any units heading to respond at the generals HQ residence. They’ll basically be in bed. There will be some resistance here, but probably mostly on the first floor.
-Another team will be on the tallest hillside, acting as observers for indirect fire and/or air support. I’ll probably have at least one person here, since that was once my job. We’re going to be risky and land the first helos at the HQ before the fire mission takes out the air defense artillery. We’re assuming we can bring those helos in at the right route where it won’t be visually seen and is stealthy enough to ingress.
The strikes will take out the one or two major systems we see. Yet, there’s always the threat of MANPADS from a barracks soldier or nearby guard. So risk is there. We will excel by helicopter, so we’ll likely move to several different egress points (which I probably should have specified... rusty)
-There is also room for a QRF team flying above in helicopter. They can respond in case one team runs into trouble, or even simply help loading cash assets. The QRF slot is also good for someone who wants to be in the op, but might only have time for an intro post only, or maybe a few short posts without getting fully involved.
I’ll write OPFOR, but I want people to have some freedom in possibly adding on a few enemies acting in response. If anything, use the Yanjin Factbooks to see what they use... Basically Chinese vehicles and weapons. There may be a few surprises or plot twists I’m not mentioning yet, so have forces prepared.
Oh, and Vangaziland has established air superiority by this point in the conflict.
