Anyways, to answer ze q not posed to me: rifle grens can by thicker around than underbarrel launchy ones. Meaning as long as you don't mind getting stupidly close to a tank, you can leave the AT4CS at home, thus saving mass dat way albeit at a slight loss when dealing with muh infantruh.
-But that's what machine-guns are for.

Plus with the savings of ditching the AT-4, you can have better AT-team equipment like a Karl or a Kornet at platoon level's weapons-squad.

Well as the strict rule follower I am, I remember reading something in the rules about the posters reserving the right to post for you if you drop out. Gonna look for it.

They have seen combat all over the planet from attacking ISIS troop emplacements in Syria to espionage in the United Osean States. Him and I did talk some, we worked it out outside of the forum so I'm just gonna truncate the mission to the crew search-and-rescue and then have the second part be a TFA op if more people come back on.

Hello everybody - before I work on an application, I'd like to know what the limits on PMT-FT technology are:

• What's the consensus on body augmentation? Stuff like Halo's SPARTAN projects where they purposefully introduce chemical augmentation to make the faster, stronger, and the like? Is there also anything wrong with having cybernetic implants and prosthesis?
• On the scale of exoskeleton to space marine armour, how far would I be allowed to go on powered armour? I'm not planning on having massive mecha suits, but I'd like to have a firm answer before I start getting the equipment list together.
• Last question; in terms of weapon technology, how far can I push in terms of laser weaponry?

Each Pathfinder is kitted with Gorka-7 "Granit" All Weather, NBC kitted, Environment suits and a M57 APR Gas Mask allowing recon on all battlefields even radioactive ones.
All other members wear standard Livonian Defense Forces M08 Standard Battle Dress Uniforms (SBDU) in the standard Livonian Geometric pattern in Temperate or Arid/Desert Patterns
Personnel Head dress includes Boonie or Utility caps and all members carry their pale blue berets with the "Głowa Wilka"
All pathfinders and flight crews come with their standard kit plus those with extra skill carry the required equipment in M05 "Carryall" Rucksacks or M07 Assault Backpacks. Each Operator on the ground will have their unique kit associated with their designation.

MH-14R "Korsarz" Stealth Medium Utility Helicopter (x2). The Korsarz, or Corsair in English, is a five-bladed, twin-engine, rotary-wing stealth helicopter designed for sling loading cargo and to transport troops into battle. It is armed by default with twin miniguns fitted to side doors located just behind the cockpit. Both miniguns are individually fed with a single linked belt with 2,000 rounds of 6.5 mm ammunition (with a combined total of 4,000 rounds). This had been upgraded in advance to also allow carrying two Fuel tanks and two weapons slots. Which the First Korsarz was loaded with 8 HE/HEAT LA-114 "Mace" Joint Strike Missiles while the other was without. The helicopter had also been upgraded with an in-air refuelling extension, and an Infrared Search and Track camera and laser designation device. Making the MH-14R "Korsarz" the perfect clandestine insertion and exfiltration airframe. It goes without saying that other nations of the world would have such a craft however the MH-14R "Korsarz" is so different than its parent army current equipment especially as the LDF is focused on Mechanized warfare so much to a falt. Most nations would be less inclined to even remotely believe that the Livonians developed it by themselves. Which for the missions it had to do if it did get caught unaware and shot down. Those that found its remains would not be able to link it to Livonia.

Huh. Never been asked this before.

1. I'd say no Spartan shit. There's been exceptions in the past for when things get wild, but as an OP, I generally only pass out the "rule of cool batshit insane" cards to certain people for certain reasons and situations. So as far as prosthesis goes, I'd go with a general rule that it should be a flavor more than anything, as in the prosthetic should only be as good as a flesh-and-blood arm. I'd say that would be about my line for someone whom I don't know and can't trust.

2. Nothing close to space marine armor. We've had in TFA in the past some situations where there was stuff approaching the kind of powered armor that you'd see in Call of Duty, but again, those are far and few in between and generally reserved for the over-the-top situations, and definitely not a standard. As a general rule of thumb, I'd go with the kind of powered armor available in real life; which is, not really much of anything. I'm sure there's people in TFA that have slipped powered armor as a standard piece of equipment by me, but I'd frown upon its use, especially if it's someone I'm not familiar with.

3. You better be using that laser to designate targets, dazzle sensors, and blind pilots. I, and many others here and others that I can call in would love to write a book about how laser weapons aren't realistic and likely won't be for the next few decades at minimum. So if you're thinking you're going to be carrying around a Fallout laser rifle, I'm gonna have to bonk you with a bat and send you to horny jail. Even though laser rifles would be fucking cool.

While I like to try and stick harder to realistic scenarios and only sometimes go into Tom Clancy level tangents, this group has had its history of bullshit that would make Michael Bay visibly erect. I, and a lot of us here, tend to be pretty laid back about it, and I really just delegate the "seriousness" of the tactics and equipment to whoever is running a RP. Some guys, for example, would likely skull fuck you if try to do anything even approaching unrealistic in their RPs, meanwhile if someone on Hurty's level ever came back and ran an RP, I'd be surprised if there weren't Gundams and mutants involved.

It may sound a little like favoritism, but I'll honestly get increasingly laid back the more I'm familiar with a person here, as they've likely generated a level of trust in how they'll responsibly utilize and display the more unrealistic aspects of things they may want to employ in an RP. So, please, don't be offended if my responses to you are a little more conservative than if, say, Anowa or Donner Land were to post and ask about doing something in TFA that involves some more sci-fi elements.

Why did I have to make an ABM system; now I have to make a radar, which I know nothing about, so I have to go and research radars, which will inevitably take about 2 hours of reading Wikipedia trying to figure out whether to sell it battery-based or individually, and what the average prices are for both, then I have to make aircraft, which I like, but it is gonna be about 14 days before I get a single jet on the market, then I have to make about 7 more, including a series of jets that are multi-role, so I have to research how to make A VTOL TRANSPORT FEASIBLE then I have to go

TO EVERY SINGLE WEAPON I MADE

AND FIND THE AMMO IT USES

AND RESEARCH ITS COSTS, EFFECTIVENESS, AND GUIDANCE

AND WRITE IT UP

Mind you, my nation doesn't use any other nation's stuff, so I can't just say "F-16s for everyone" and call it a day. I think finally making my storefront will be worth it though.
