Something real simple, a bit cliche, but hopefully it'll be interesting

I don't know about experiencing death, as in our soldiers won't be dying in a training exercise... I don't play with soldier deaths.. Old ghosts are one thing.. But they'll just be there to scare.

As they try to find their way out of the jungle, they find themselves pursued by a giant smoke monster in the shape of a cobra. They can only find refuge from said monster in large clearings and in various abandoned research labs scattered throughout the jungle...

True, non-canon... But still.. It's not about the characters going away, but about not enjoying writing on death... I wrote some for that DW post and I took it solemnly, because it happens and it's not something I wrote about lightly. Maybe as a reminder of the costs of such a force and those in RL.

I just see this mission with more like scary boo ghosts as opposed to Freddy versus Jason versus Special Forces... Because SF would win in an outstanding manner...

Creepy stuff can happen without loss of life. Death is a crutch.

Donner Land, welcome to the Baptism of Fire! The prequel to the World Cup Qualifiers on the sports page. RP helps a bunch, especially in that early tourney. If you can, you want to try to advance there because the ranking curve is steep. And RP doesn't have to be on topic, so you could take an old story and break it up for extra credit into an arc that you release in sets. I still haven't done that, but I should.

I'd say enjoy writing match reports too, it'd just be a big post. And I say that not by what I've done in the WC, but from others... Like Bonesea. He went all out starting at the BoF and is now a top World Team while I got my soccer puppet up to the Top 50, still way down...

It'd be fun to get more Atlas nations in. You'd miss the BoF though. Basketball is still starting. So is lacrosse. We could do a side war RP on the lacrosse thread and probably max the bonus points... Meet in the playoffs, maybe? Not impossible. LAX actually needs numbers.

hate to say it, but I actually don't think I have the time to participate in trying out NS Sports what with School, regional business, etc. I think once I get a break and/or graduate I'll have the time for it. It seems like a very interesting place, for sure, it looks extremely time-consuming though, time I really don't have for anything else.

Yeah, I know you were looking forward to it Forest, but between school and the Regional RP I'm OPing, now that I see what is expected, its best to pull out than be stressed any further, some people like Anowa can do multiple things at once on here, but I can hardly do Two, especially when one of the things is hosting an RP.

And you could post stories from the regional RP as a story arc, especially if you summarize what the other writer says... You don't have to, I'm not pushing it to you or getting a bonus. The ranking points are the toughest mountain. It's time consuming, but not impossible with the story arc thing. Either way, enjoy what posting you do find time for..
