Brief Descriptions
Brief Description of your nation's military: The Venezuelan military is greatly a mixed bag, partially composed of guerrillas-turned proper soldiers, and partially composed of soldiers who turned on the old regime. There is an intense rivalry between the conservative Venezuelan Immortal Guard and radical Venezuelan Freedom Army. The Airforce is mostly conservative, while the Navy is allied with the revolutionaries.
Brief Description of your nation's history: Venezuela won independence after a protracted war with Spain. Afterward, the Venezuelan Republic was declared. However, the Republic proved to be largely in name only, as it proved to be oligarchic and authoritarian. Presidents often used their position to enrich themselves and the military took temporary control at several different points. The current Junta was formed in 1996; after an eleven year Civil War the military turned on the President and formed a Junta with the previous guerrillas. Few were optimistic when Generalissimo Rodriguez promised free elections within the year, and history proved him to be a liar.
Brief Description of your nation's economy: Venezuela's economy runs on oil. The Junta nationalized the oil fields shortly after taking power, which greatly upset the western powers. Venezuela is currently in the tail end of the Junta's five year plan to industrialize Venezuela, which has been successful in industrializing, but not so much when it comes to human rights. Venezuela also has a large amount of raw materials that it exports, but such exports are decreasing as they are increasingly consumed by Venezuelan industry.
Brief Description of your nation's government: The current Junta committee is called the "General's Command." However this name isn't entirely accurate, though the Junta began as a board solely of Generals, it has expanded to include 7 different individuals. These include the Ultra Supreme High General of Venezuela (Neutral), Supreme High General of the Venezuelan Immortal Guard (Conservative), the Grand Subcomandante of the Venezuelan Freedom Army (Radical), Supreme Grand Admiral-Subcomandante of the Free Venezuelan Navy (Radical), Supreme High General of the Venezuelan National Airforce (Conservative), as well as the Chief of the National Industrial Committee (Conservative), and Chief of the Venezuelan National Police Force (Neutral). While the Ultra Supreme High General is nominally the leader of the Junta, he was chosen as a compromise, and the Supreme High General of the Venezuelan Immortal Guard, Jesus Duterte, is largely the most influential member of the government.
Brief Description of your nation's populace: The Venezuelan people have suffered under instability and tyranny for generations, this is nothing new. While older generations tend to be more cynical, conservative, and accepting of the regime, younger generations tend to be more optimistic, radical, and opposed to the current regime.

Part of the EACPU is allowing citizens and businesses of member states the freedom to invest in other member states' businesses and governments so long as the investors obey the member state's laws.

Brief Descriptions
Brief Description of your nation's military: The URS Military is a conscript force inheriting the traditions and tactics of the old Soviet military. It is not a state institution, but a party one, with all officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces swearing loyalty to the Communist Party Despite the loss of the vast majority of Soviet territory by the 1950s along with most of the nation's military resources, reforms in the succeeding decades (along with a significant portion of the government checkbook) managed to restore discipline and to forge a relatively effective and well-equipped force.
Brief Description of your nation's history: After the end of the USSR and the establishment of Sonacist New Rusia, stirrings of discontent quickly began to spread in what remained of Russian-controlled Siberia. These areas, denied the civil and economic support extended by the new government to the more essential territories of Rusia, were quickly reclaimed by communist politicians. In 1952, regional towns and cities, including the capital of Omsk, expelled Sonacist politicians and sympathizers and formed local soviets (like those established in Russian cities during the February Revolution and the Revolution of 1905). Representatives of these Soviets gathered in Omsk, and on April 15th they established the Union of Russian Soviets. After a brief conflict with Vologda known as the Second Russian Civil War, the URS was recognized by the still unstable Sonacist government in exchange for a renouncement of all legal claims on New Rusian territory.
Though socialist rule seemed secure in the URS, conflicts within the Communist Party between Marxist-Leninist hardliners and a rising faction known as the "Marxist-Bolsheviks", supported by war veterans and led by a combination of recently-returned emigres and disillusioned Party officials, soon began to tear it apart. The Marxist-Bolshevists rejected Marxism-Leninism as "a Stalinist invention" which had lost Russia the last war, and declared their intention to fuse Marxism with elements of the ideology of the National Bolsheviks, an emigre school of thought which considered Bolshevism as a part of Russia's path to national greatness. Differences between the two factions eventually resulted in the Soviet Civil War. The Marxist-Bolshevists emerged victorious, and have ruled the URS ever since.
Brief Description of your nation's economy: The economic system of the URS is modeled upon Lenin's New Economic Policy, with an aim to achieve the prerequisites (a developed capitalist economy) necessary for progression towards socialism. Under the NEP, the brutal nationalization undertaken during Stalin's time, with the agrarian and consumer sections of the economy privatized and the operators of such businesses given constitutional protection against seizure by state officials. The only bank in the URS, the National Bank, is controlled by the Soviet government. However, credit unions are allowed to operate independent of government control. Industry, mineral extraction, and foreign trade still remain under total government control, though they are run competitively and positions within management are awarded and sustained on the basis of merit.
GDP: $366,112,980,050.00
GDP per capita: 24,407.53
The URS has large reserves of natural gas, petroleum, copper, and iron. While industry and services are the economy's largest sectors, mechanized agricultural plays a major role in the economy of the South, producing enough foodstuffs to make the URS a net exporter of produce.
Brief Description of your nation's government: The URS is a single-party state ruled by the Communist Party according to the principles of Marxism-Bolshevism. In structure, the Union government is a unitary state, divided onto the most basic level into Soviets. Each Soviet is established within the borders of a municipal area, with at least one voting delegate to the All-Russian Congress of Soviets and another delegate for every 12,000 inhabitants. The Congress of Soviets meets biannually, with the sole authority to make constitutional amendments and to elect the Supreme Soviet, which operates when it is in between sessions, and the Supreme Soviet then elects the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet, which operates when it is between sessions and the Chairman of which is the head of state of the URS.
Brief Description of your nation's populace: The people of the Union are primarily of Russian stock, however significant indigenous minorities exist in the north of URS. Many of these peoples have been partially or fully Russified, and their languages and traditions receive no recognition from Omsk. Soviet citizens have been shaped in their habits by decades of Communist dominance and suppression, leaving suspicion and introversion as a common reaction towards unknown individuals and even neighbors. Soviet citizens benefit from a free and socialist education, consequently literacy and basic subject proficiency being universal.

Leaders: Stratzvyusef Ryeganov (Organizer for underground militant forces), Thomas Barkeley (The People's Voice, the face of the rebellion), Chris Johnston (Sympathetic general in the Congolese Armed Forces)
Style of Warfare: Organized Protest, Outright Warfare
Number of members: 170000
Countries and/or locations of operations: Congo, Francia, Songhay, West Bornu, East Bornu, Equatoria
Equipment: Civilian volunteers are distributed AK-47 assault rifles, Anti-government soldiers underneath Chris Johnston will consist of mechanized infantry divisions with limited armour and SAM support.
Goals of organization: End the perpetual military-industrial complex of the Congo, the wealth inequality of Francia's African territories, and end first-world exploitation of Africa by establishing a pan-African syndicalist regime through initially peaceful means, though the leadership of the UASR is garnering support and material in the case of a military struggle. The PMC lead by Stratzvyusef Ryeganov is currently engaged in operations aimed at halting the conflict by installing pro-Syndicalist, humanist leadership
History of Organization: Syndicalism was founded in Francia during the First World War, eventually expanding to have a not-insignificant following in other European countries up until they faded away in the latter half of the twentieth century. However, while in its hayday the ideology spread through Francia to its colony Algeria, where followers banded together against Francian exploitative economic policy in peaceful protest. This slowly but surely spread south to the Congo, where inequal pay was exacerbated by workers seeing their tax dollars going to not only oil magnates, but a burgeoning military-industrial complex as well. Now, the Syndicalist movements have had enough of the constant exploitation and waste upon weapons- under radical new leadership, the Syndicalists have united into a unified, pan-national group to argue for not only equal rights for workers, but equal rights for all Africans and self-sufficiency as a continent.
