And honestly, I've never even seen those in a lab (not to say they aren't hidden somewhere). An Xacto Knife or something closer to a paint knife is much more likely. Those are all still pointy pieces of metal, but they aren't exactly daggers or even kitchen knives

Weren't all the test animals running around outside? I know a lab knife is pretty useless, but if might be able to momentarily distract a person or animal if used effectively. It would be better than nothing. But yea, its probably time to get out of the room.

I'm a bit lost - I thought we were supposed to leave the rooms we were in, and that's it (as far as that guy was concerned). I think I didn't get exactly where the gas will be released...
