The Schneller's continued rolling up towards the city, they managed to get close to their top speeds now that the sun had finally gone down. Arpke smiled beneath his mask. He picked up his radio, and patched over to all allied forces.

"Arpke here, we're getting close to the city. Lock and load, get your packs tight and your magazines ready. We're going to try to make this as quiet as possible. I don't think the terrorists are going to come out, so we're going to go in to "talk to them." Don't fire until they fire on us first, but when they do, light them the hell up. Arpke out."

The first trucks arrived on the outskirts of the city, Arpke's truck rolled to a halt and he got out. He picked up his HLA-3 assault rifle, and motioned for the Ersatzgruppen to exit their trucks. Only the drivers, shotgunners, and machine gunners were still mounted. Arpke had roughly fifty men at his disposal until the allies arrived. The men quickly slinked up to the edge of the city.

"Arpke here, we're in position."

[Gnobar]

"This is Cackett. ETA 5 minutes, over and out."

The man on the gunner position of the chopper looked back at Cackett. Cackett smiled and the gunner smiled and laughed for a second. He then shouted

"HOOOOORAAH! Lock and load boys! Time to bring the pain!

Arpke watched the helicopters set down outside of the city, he hoped that they weren't loud enough to alert the terrorists but he assumed they were. They hadn't landed far enough away from the city, the noise was very noticeable.

"Schnellers, cover our rear with the .50's, we're gonna wait for the Gnobarians. They send their finest soldiers and we get noise pollution..."

[Gnobar]

Cackett hit the back of the head of the man who had shouted Hoorah.

"Come on man, act professional.

The three squads departed the Hawks, while the pilots remained close by if air support was needed later.

"Sorry General for the noise. Time is really of the essence now, no doubt they heard that"

The three squads piled into the Lorarans transports and waited to move out.

Arpke sighed and shook his head.

"Yeah, they probably heard that. I doubt they're coming out, let's move in on the city."

Arpke stood on the side step of his Schneller, and they began to move forward into the city. He held his gun at his side, waiting for the inevitability of the shots ringing out towards them and the scream of men who had taken fire from the weapons of the terrorists. They moved slowly into the city, the entire place was silent.

"Eyes open."

[Gnobar]

"Watch the windows guys...We're in the perfect place for an ambush"

The street was scarcely quiet for a city street. Cackett checked his clip and proceeded to ready his weapon. He joined Arpke who was viewing the city street from the side of the transport.

"At least we know they haven't left with the weapons. It's going to be one hell of a fight"

A few more moments passed and the transports halted in an open square beside a fountain just around the block from the target. Things were quiet for a few seconds, but this was quickly interrupted by the hiss and snap of a bullet hitting the transports armour.

"CONTACT!"

Meanwhile The terrorist group called The crimson blades claim they stole the warheads and intend to use them to destroy the capital-city of shlipi if they not turn the nations full control to the blades.

No offense but i believe that the good guys have to much force compared to the terrorists, its way to predictable who is going to win nothing bad seems to happen its like gi joe from the 80,s.

Bullets "clanked" onto the armor of the Schneller-H, one hit the window, cracking its armored plating.

"WE HAVE CONTACT, RETURN FIRE."

Arpke jumped off of the side of the Schneller, and went to cover behind a building. Bullets whizzed past, some of them kicking up in the dirt nearby while others hit the trucks nearby.

Arpke racked the bolt on his rifle, and peered around the corner. They were taking fire from multiple buildings, as well as out of alleyways. The trucks weren't in sight from where they were positioned, and Arpke figured that they'd most likely be trying to get them out of the city. He motioned towards one of his Lieuentants and screamed at him in Lonarische,

"Eta aus schnell den Granatenwerfer! Jetzt!"
(Get the mortars out, now!)

The lieutenant scrambled to relay the command to the other men in the platoon, before too long they were setting up mortars.

"I want the mortars zeroed in on the south and western buildings, when I give the go ahead, lob shells right onto their damned heads."

Arpke squeezed off a couple of shots towards the insurgents, and took cover behind the building again. The roar of one of the .50 Cal's on a Schneller echoed through the city.

"Bombarde los!"
(Begin bombardment!)

The "thump" of mortars began sounding off at periodic intervals, followed by the shrill cry of the shells as they fell back to earth and exploded on their targets.

"Alright, maintain fire on those buildings. I want Delta Squad to flank to the northeast, go!"

He was interrupted by the "swoosh" of an RPG firing. The rocket flew out from around him and hit the lead Schneller. The explosion knocked Arpke off of his feet, a burning body slumped out of the driver door.

"Fuck, find out where that RPG came from and light the fucker up!"

We have watched your attempts to capture the terrorists that stole your nuclear warheads. If you were unable to protect them, then you do not deserve them. We are issueing a warning to you: We will attempt multiple attacks on your people and troops until you give up your futile attempts. A nation cannot be trusted with nuclear warheads if they cannot hold them within their 'butterfinger' defenses. That is all.

Leaders of Ketrily, be warned. The Aldamer are truly brutal and genocidal. They are hidden and based within our borders. They are extremely fanatical. They seem to believe if you recapture your warheads, you will lose them again and that time the thieves will be able to use them. The Aldamer are most likely going to attempt to kill the involved terrorists and capture the warheads for themselves. They will then probably fire them on your nation. We have closed our borders. Listen, your faction is not responsible, please can you not throw ideas that are against my plot, but you are welcome to send in whatever troops you want.

The terrorists that had decided to defend were not relenting, even though they were overwhelmed. There were men, women and children fleeing the battlefield, mortars were raining down on their home, and they were helpless.

The trucks and some other terrorists were slowly driving east, hoping to get out onto the Trans-island highway 10 miles outside of the town.

But they needed to get out of the town first...

Our anti-insurgent operations are going well in our nation, however more help is always appreciated.

With intelligence we have currently amassed, we only think a small portion of of the weapons stolen are near the current operation. These terrorists we are currently fighting seem to be the only ones in the nation.

We believe the majority of the weapons are now outside of Ketrily, it is vital the current mission succeeds if we are to discover who our enemy is.

Aid groups are not required, we are one of the most economically developed nations in the Region, and our people's self-sufficiency in a state of emergency is far better than other nations.

Arpke dialed in to the Ersatzgruppen helmet radio system.

"Avoid firing upon the non-combatant civilians, but keep an eye out because they could still be hiding an IED or weapon."

A few more shots hit the ground near him, he cursed and retracted back behind the building.

"Move up, we're going to do this building to building!"

The Ersatzgruppen forces and their trucks moved forward, past the burning Schneller and it's immolated driver. They were out for blood, and they would have it by the end of the night.

Cackett trained his eye onto a building in the east of the square. He squeezed the trigger taking down a man who just popped up with a fresh RPG.

"Second story, white building to the east, RPGs! Private get those Black-Hawks on the radio!"

A young private fumbled with a radio unit, twisted some dials until he had gotten through to the Black-Hawks. He handed the transmitter to Cackett.

"Things have hit the shit. They may be trying to move the missiles out of the town. Get into the air and find them! Take the wheels out or the drivers, I don't care but don't let them get out of here!"

Cackett indicated for the GSOSF squads to enter a side street. He wasn't letting those missiles get out of here, and the barrage of fire had taken its toil on the Lonaran transports. Cackett and the three squads quickly moved across the square under the cover fire from the Lonarans in one building. General Arpke was behind the building reloading his rifle when the GSOSF squads came by.

"We've got the Hawks in the air searching for those missiles. We can't afford to be bogged down here, these guys are just to hold us up. We'll be quicker moving on foot. We'll keep you updated"

Arpke put a finger to his ear mic to strain over the gunfire in order to hear.

"Confirmed, we'll deal with the insurgents in the town. Don't let them get out of your sight, we need those nukes under our custody."

Arpke kicked in the back door of the building he had been using as cover, the place was dusty and full of desert sand. He looked around quickly, getting his bearings. He decided to run up stairs and see if their was roof access, when he turned the corner at the top of the stairs...he found himself staring face to face with an insurgent. Arpke's eyes widened, and by reflex he dropped his rifle. The insurgent attempted to draw a bead on Arpke with his AK, but Arpke was was too fast. He grabbed the AK by the barrel and twisted it out of the man's hand, the man grunted and attempted to knee Arpke in the stomach. Arpke jumped back, avoiding it, and then dove forward.

He released the switch on his gauntlet wrist-dagger, and plunged it into the man's throat, the man fell down gurgling blood.

"Damn...that was way too close."

Arpke picked his gun back off of the floor, and climbed the second set of stairs to the roof. He had a birds eye view of the battlefield.

"The trucks are trying to leave the city East, intercept them."

OOC-Aldamer wasn't the cause. It just made the threat because it wanted the warheads for themselves.

The 5,000 Aldarminian Black Ops Special Forces had already been equipped and armed. They had boarded the C-130s before even given orders by the totalitarian. A third were armed with Wolverine Semi-Automatic KR71 Assault Rifles. The other two thirds were either armed with Eagle Bolt-Action .50 Cal. TR41 Sniper Rifles or Mountable Scythe Double-Barreled Fully-Automatic .50 Cal. R141 Machine Guns. They were equipped with parachutes and Kevlar Dragon Personal Combat Body Armor Gear. The C-130s passed over a town that was 80 miles away from the deisgnated drop site. Their sensors picked up heavy combat on the ground in the town.

"This is Stork Commander to Stork Drop Squadrons, heavy combat below us. Stork 49-50 and Stork 50-51, drop all men on combat area. All other Storks continue to designated drop sites." said the commanding C-130 pilot over the comm-link.

Colonel Edanik, commander of the 200 men in the C-130s designated Storks 49-50 and 50-51, cursed himself. "Aldarminia's first real combat situation has already been f'ed up because we were late to the fight. I hope the Ketrilyans are fine with us coming in like this."

As Storks 49-50 and 50-51 passed over the combat area, the men within them, including the Colonel, parachuted down into the gunfire. Many men were killed in the drop, most likely 53. The few that landed in streets suddenly realized they were in the crossfire and took cover in alleyways or broke into the buildings. The others had landed on roofs, and the snipers began picking off targets while the machine gunners kept the enemy's heads down as best as they could. The men armed with assault rifles went down to the ground level floors and entered the deadly firefight.


As that battle went on, the rest of the Aldarminian force landed at the original drop site and waited for their comrades' return.

General Yezkonich comm-linked the Ketrilyans, "Sorry if we went against procedure. This is Aldarminia's first time, and we're kind of impolite."

General Prant was getting sick of having to monitor this situation, but he picked up the phone politely.

"General Yezkonich, I have not had the pleasure. I assume you know the situation? This is an easy fight, around 60 hostiles in the area, but they have a good defensive advantage, it's an urban area. If the battle goes on like this, the trucks are going to be able to escape with the weapons... Once their on the Transisland highway, the situation will be grim. If you can, try sending some of your forces to the eastern side of the town; Commander Arpke thinks the trucks are trying to leave that way."

[Gnobar]

"Rodger were on it. Over. Right lets move boys! Double time it but stay sharp"

An converted pickup truck with a mounted heavy machine gun was sitting down the street. One man had the bonnet open with an AK-47 slung over his shoulder while two other men leaned against the side smoking. Two GSOSF men drew their knives while another spun a silencer onto the top of his barrel. A silent count to 3 and the three men lay on the ground. It looked like they were on their way to the square but the engine had run into difficulties. A voice began to speak in Cackett's ear.

"Sergeant Cackett, we've got a confirmed ID on those transports. They are on the corner of a block three streets north of you. We have a confirmed hit on the two men in the front cabin of the leading truck. Over"

"Rodger. What is the ground forces like? Anything we need to worry about? Over"

"Our gunner has gotten a few that have tried to make a run for cover. The convoy is being escorted by a lightly armoured vehicle, and two troop transports. Shouldn't be a problem for you guys. Over"

"Maintain a safe distance from RPG fire but have the gunner keep them from moving forward. Over and out. Right lets pick up the pace, they are three blocks north. We should be ok but prepare for heavy resistance."

[Lonara]

Arpke looked around the rooftop, looking for something, anything that could help him. He found it in the form of an abandoned Dragunov marksman rifle on the roof. He pulled the magazine out and checked it, it had three shots left in it. Good enough. He edged up to the parapet of the roof and laid down, he only had one shot to disable the lead covered truck. He would have to make it count for the Gnobarians. He took in a deep breath, and squeezed the trigger. The rifle kicked back in his arms as the bullet left the barrel, it sliced through the engine compartment of the truck. He quickly lined up another shot, and took out the front left wheel, and then finally the back left wheel. He then tossed the Dragunov off of the roof, so that it wouldn't be utilized ever again.

"I disabled the truck, you'll have to do the rest Sergeant."
