Draceus' office
the screen crackled to life showing General Vladimir
Draceus: Gen.Vladimir I assume you have landed.

Vladimir: yes Premier, we have set up our office in the Citadel.

Draceus: Good, also how are our "allies" doing?

Vladimir: Not good Premier, from what I've heard the Augmented have just broke the Cyberiad's front line.

Draceus: This could be a problem, for now keep an open ear for any updates, i'll check again later.

and with that the screen shut off

18°44'28.4"S 118°50'58.0"E, understood reinforcements will be arriving by air at 0400 hours local time tomorrow, artillery, armor and aircraft primary transport, infantry secondary... any data streams on Augment capabilities requested but not necessary. Weakness to heat, electromagnetic weaponry, and common weaponry requested. We will see you on the ground and in the air.

I Apologise for not being able to contact you directly earlier. I am Commander-In-Cheif James T. Orwell of the Cyberiad Armed forces. I greatly appreciate your aid in this situation; it has quickly evolved beyond our control. I have ordered the Panopticon to transmit a real-time copy of all data processed related to the Augment. We will send it on the same frequency that we are sending this message with. It's several thousand Gigs of data, but I'm sure you can handle it. We have found that EMP weaponry works well to shut down "free nanites", but leaves the soldiers relatively unharmed. They have normal strength, it appears, and can't 'repair'. Conventional weapons are much less viable than when used on regular persons. We found that with extensive damage, the augmented soldiers are beyond repair. The incident where this was discovered involved a 120 mm cannon. The nanites should melt easily with exposure to flame, however, this has not been tested in the field.

I am currently at the rendezvous point. Our inland front line has broken and the Augment are marching on Armast. I am waiting a few more hours for others to arrive, but I will open artillery fire on the Augment's unguarded western territory. We will have a beachhead invasion and force them to fight on two fronts. A clear resolution has not yet been discovered, so this the best plan we have. Pruzah Faraan ko Krif: Godspeed.

Orwell stood on the bridge of the ODIN which waited a few klicks off the coast which was bathed in orange light as the sun began to dip below the horizon. Captain John Barrow of the Ergasger radioed from the nearby ship, "What's the plan, Orwell?"

"At daybreak we give them hell."

"I always loved that plan..."

"The Cyberiad ships are going to begin the assault soon."

"Thank you." Agnew didn't even look at the communications officer, but pulled out his phone and ran a cord from a port on the side to an auxiliary data port on one of the consoles that covered the command room. "Okay, let's get started then." Agnew put his hands together and cracked his knuckles. The Phone created a holographic projection from its screen that showed a real-time feed from his forces.

Agnew called to Orwell over comms, "Orwell I would be so honored if you allowed me to lead this charge. Most of my force is autonomous; there's no point in Cyberit soldiers dying if they don't have to."

As the massive cannons of the Cyberit battleships roared, IOTA landing craft zipped to the beach. Robotic soldiers quickly deployed and began to secure an area for the other nations to land troops.

Your data has been received and investigated, we understand this situation is dire and have dispatched some of our most highly advanced units to deal with the threat as well as a a Scorched Earth Division. Furthermore the moment we're in range to lost we will dispatch four of our Experimental Fighter bombers, their weapons are high energy and should prove to have a negative effect on the Augument... once they're in the air direct them at the largest breach concentration, we'll do our best to distrupt their attack... a squadron of fighters and bombers are also enroute and will be landing in a few hours... We will defeat them, this we promise, we have not lost yet.

-Black Hand Stealth Fleet 3-
A strange factor of the Black Hand navy is that their best ships barely looked the part of a naval ship at all, with limited ship building purposes the vast majority of their ships tended to be older retired ship classes that, in most cases, were saved from the scrapyard, being a non-state actor, their ship building abilities were limited so in order to make a fully custom modern warship, it needed to look like anything but a warship, which is the sight of two civilian freighters, a super tanker, and a normal tanker approaching Cyberiad waters signified the arrival of the first of the Black Hand presence. On board the largest of these ships four extremely odd looking aircraft were quickly being fueled up.... These four would be the opening blow by the Black Hand, and it's crews were excited, for the first time in ages they were finally going to be deployed for battle, years of simulation may have made sure they were ready, but the real thing was still something never beyond compare. Still Vector worried, as agile as these craft were the status of Augment air defense were uncertain, he may need to combine it with a probe strike ahead of time to make certain of the safety, or simply direct the majority of their attack run to occur over friendly territory. Decisions must be made.... but he wasn't too worried if need be they'd scour the entire occupied region until it was an ashfield plain where nothing grew... for that is what they did best.

-Black Hand Stealth Fleet 3-
"Vulture 1, all checks are green."
"Vulture 2, all systems nominal."
"Vulture 3, good to go."
"Vulture 4, Let's get this started."

The normally flat surface of the tanker vessel opened revealing a large circular opening leading down to the concealed hangers within, a small elevator system revealing the four oddly shaped aircraft concealed within, these craft the rarest and most irreplaceable of strike aircraft in the Black Hand arsenal, to use them in combat required only the most dire of situations... a situation such as this.
"This is Commander Vector, Vulture Flight you are clear for lift off, advance towards landfall and head for the indicated breaches, we will be giving our allies forewarning of your arrival, Vultures 1 and 2, you're to head for the breaches, three strafing runs should be enough to suppress their advance, Vulture 3 and 4, you're to head for the beachhead and provide fire support if requested, we know little of the Augment AA defenses so use your stealth capabilities to your best of ability, don't pass over occupied territory unless you can help it."

The four alien looking aircraft swiftly activated their primary jets, the VTOL engines directing the fires downwards as the alien looking aircraft arose over the ship, their colors painted a glossy black as the banshees took flight and directed themselves southwards towards the mainland, Vector observing them silently on screen before turning back to the captain.
"Prepare the marines, ready the choppers, with the landings begun we're going in too."

-Black Hand Air Armada-
"Raven Flight checking in, nothing to report."
"Scorpion Squadron maintaining escorts."
"Hauler you hanging in there?"
"Hauler flight we're steady as usual."

The air mobile reinforcements had come together rather quickly, a flight of C-130s with F-22 escort had been a simple enough measure, but the addition of a bomber wing soon proved necessary addition, especially for the specialized arsenal that the Black Hand was willing to bring to bear against an enemy like this... and it was this that a flight of 4 Backfire bombers for extra muscle that took a bit of extra work... the biggest problem with using a mixed air force was when your east and west mixed, such as now... but they'd make it work, the situation was too dire to do anything else.

The soldier's from the IOTA Corporation were leading the charge and granting a buffer for the living soldiers. Orwell viewed the battle from the starboard windows of the bridge. The Six Cyberiad warships were arranged in a slight horseshoe ship, with the troop transport ships rapidly approaching the beaches. Each Transport held 5 Battallions totaling 5,000 troops. The ships had a flat bottom design that allowed them to beach themselves and drop a front exit ramp. A Legionnaire Tank Division exited the center transport followed by Vanguard APCs and troops from all three. The Cyberit Legionnaire tanks quickly outpaced the EE Dragonslayers on the rough terrain, but succumbed more often to enemy fire.

The Cyberiad forces stormed the Northern Beach with IOTA attacking the south and the EE focussing on the middle ground.

"The RS rocket battery landed a few dozen meters in front of us. The shockwave nearly knocked me off my feet. 'High Command be advised, RS is hitting a little close to home'. " Roger that, proceed with caution. High Command out.". The Tanks opened fire on the few Augment that survived the blast. The cannons left too little for the nanites to repair. One Tank on our left flank strayed too far and the Augment descended on it like vultures. Nanites ripped the tank to shreds. 'Fire!' A Golem clad soldier opened fire with a heavy machine gun. The Augmented fell, and luckily didn't get back up. 'Come on!' I urged my team forward. We started taking heavy fire from the wood line so we took cover behind a boulder. "Kinda wished we had another rocket strike." 'Can-it Michaels.' A Vanguard gave us the chance to return fire and advance. This was going to be a long day."

Captain Barrow stood on the bridge of the ODIN next to Orwell. "Haha, it seems our friends are eager."

"I just hope it's enough. Radio the Dreadnoughts, let's have a missile strike of our own."

The Maelstrom and Phoenix retracted the guards to their missile launchers and let loose a full volly. The ships were nearly hidden in the smoke left over. The barrage touched down at the edge of the Forrest. Fire broke out and the trees fell like match sticks.

Onboard a Destroyer

The transports are flooding out of the ship, with about 100 in all.
The soldiers that each one can carry combined is equal to 1000 soldiers in total.
The battleship moves closer to the coast, and scans for any sign of them.
They spot something. They see some ships of the enemy.
"Let the missile strike begin." says the commander, the colonel.
A barrage of 10 mini missiles go towards the enemy ships, destroying a couple.
lol hi just an rp'er
