Name of Captain: Abbadon Munso
Nationality: Eh, Wankan? He doesn't know
Background: Born to some couple in a fishing village, well, he doesn't know much of those days, he was put into slavery quite early in his life, as in during his really early childhood, where he was first groomed to be a slave. Anyway, fishing village, now, insert pirates into the picture, slavers to be exact, and imagine him being taken away as a baby. Now, he was dumped somewhere, again, he has forgotten truly where, he doesn't want to remember, to be groomed as a slave to the same pirates that dropped him off. Time flies by, and he is a rather strong seven year old. The pirates come back for him, now they are in worse authority, being ruled by some imbecile of a captain that calls his sloop the "Floop", truly an odd name.

Now he's on the ship, slaving away at the hands of the captain. A drunk man calls him Munso, and it stuck, as nobody wanted to tire their tongues by saying "Hey, slave boy!" over and over again. The incompetent captain screws his crew over, many many times, and this made the old crew livid. He tossed them off before mutiny happened, except Munso. A fatal mistake on his part, as Munso still hated him. And when a new crew was recruited, he spreads discontent, and this adds up to the increasingly stupid captain that makes foolish decisions left and right. Needless to say, everyone was livid yet again, and before they got tossed off, Munso plunged the boat in bloody mutiny during a storm, the captain died quickly, as it was the whole crew against one. Munso was made captain, and he took upon the name of Abbadon, and renamed the ship to "The Slaughterhouse".

Japan, I don't know who you're firing at or whose firing back at you as we're not carrying guns, but I'll say one of the Marines was hit. Its Schultz and Marcus moving on Abbadon at the Inn though with all the smoke it will be difficult to see.

Fair enough, and it makes sense for you. You couldn't know the strength of the garrison or navy ships in the region I suppose. Should I send a merchant your way or what?

I hope Athrax posts, he's the only one with a frigate now, though if things get spicy I'll just say he stays out.

Christo, could you scale your fleet down to at most one frigate and three smaller ships. I did say we'd all be limited. Don't worry in that I won't force any character into a losing position. I suggest they arrive later than the Chen junks for what I plan.

What I have in mind to end this is that the Chen junks occupy St Thomas and proceed to blockade and attempt invasion of Prince's. The three factions will be forced to confront the Chen invasion together or face barbaric slaughter.

I still want to keep the appearance of a desperate inferiority; three sloops and a brig and infighting groups against the Chen fleet and ~2,000 troops.

Maybe Schreiner's dad can come in later to help clean up the mess. What's in it for him is maybe recognition from Wanka for Christoslavia.

What will you do next? If you want your men at the Governor's House catching some rearguard pirates and wounding/killing them that works; I'd assume they still thought the deal was on that they were supposed to help the Governor against the pirates.

I guess we're relying on Schreiner to attempt to alert both Governor and the Captain to the impending attack by the Chen and somehow bring a ceasefire.

The Chen will first attempt to enter the harbour/inlet under cover of shelling but two ships will run aground due to it being shallow and bad maneuvering by the Chen crew. Buys them a bit of time but there will be an amphibious invasion shortly and the harbour will be under fire.

I might just settle for charging back in just to pick something up, it's important in a sense. Quick question by this point in time is it still too early to have a larger ship.

Oh hey, welcome back. Well, considering Athrax and Ruskland-Preuben aren't around anymore, I figured Christo and I would bring this RP to an end with a large battle of the Chen fleet attempting to capture Prince's Island to rid it of pirates and to retaliate against Wanka.

I think this will end with a decisive Chen defeat. The Wankan Far-West Squadron will arrive to find everything in order courtesy of a brave stand of *Christoslavians*, a pirate and a corrupt Governor. Wanka will recognize and start doing business with this new nation as thanks for their help. The Far-West Squadron will also travel to Chen to retaliate for its acts of war. Everyone should be happy and forget about Prince's which leads to it becoming a true pirate haven once again.

I was hoping this would go on for a bit longer but with Athrax and Ruskland-Preuben gone its better to end before it dies of inactivity.

But what do you guys think of a continuation/part reboot? What I'd get into would be Mullawath leading a true democracy of sorts- with pirates leading it. Of course, I'd hope Schreiner would stop discriminating and attack ships regardless of nationality, especially in light of all the betrayal. And his dad's overbearing insistence on him being a good boy.

Would you return on the pirates' side and attack the Chen?

I would like to keep the balance in favour of Chen to make our victory seem *heroic*. What if you attacked St Thomas, which has been overrun and is occupied by 200 Chen troops. They'll have a battery of cannons but that's about it.

Well I don't know. If there are enough people interested we could even keep this going. I was initially planning to wrap this RP up.

Under the "links" section of this OP you can find the resources I used to research this era and its tech. Not difficult- a ship with ten cannons on each side, muzzle-loaded, range of perhaps 50-100 meters effective, fire until boarding action or a ship sinks.

Well, what size is your large ship and how many cannons? It needs to be officially Wankan- but if you occupy it, well, a deal could easily be arranged for you to be effectively in control of the island. Especially that your removal of Chen troops and occupation give you a good bargaining position.

Also, would you be interested in continuing this storyline? Including bigger ships and fleets.

Well it'd be about the size of a frigate now with 40 cannons. And i'd be interested in both, it'd be fun since i did use her in another rp and it'd be nice to eventually see the man of war be hers.
