A drop pod suddenly crashed into the ground as the soldier's helmet's visors all suddenly went red. They then began screaming and charging at full force. Out came what the empire called 'The Goddess of science and war." Empress Akichi Hachirou had arrived, with the prism in her hand. "Nemesis Eight, evacuate the Vanguard, i foresee a large danger approaching the Vanguard." She said through the radio on her suit. Soon, she started charging in, protecting her soldiers from control while also shooting some down.

The ships soon evaded all the missiles, as the Vanguard soon turned and jumped into Hyperspace, evacuating to an unknown location. The other ships press on with their attack, aiming to disable their methods of teleportation.

The Emperor would be in his usual mood pondering his thoughts of future military conquests and the daily problems dealing with rivalry between the weak minded Sith Lords, that'll be quickly executed when the Special Assassination OPs gets called in to end it.As infighting in the New Sith Imperium wasn't to be tolerated at all for the insurance of the Imperium's survival when it was created after the death of the traitorous Darth Sidious and the Galactic empire built on the ideals of Darth Bane's rule of two.That had almost made the Sith Tradition extinction with it killing force sensitives of great promise to serve under the Sith Banner but had been killed by that so-called 'Darklord of the Sith', nonetheless though sickening days of betrayal and foolish are over with Darth Vex's rebellion against the Galactic Empire in 4ABY that has brought the return of the Sith with the restoration of the Sith Academy on Korriban and the return of the Clone Army to fight for his regime of infinite power to spread his will across the universe destroying all resistance in his path for the Greater Sith Imperium to known that have returned with wars of thousands and neverending for complete dominations over everything and everyone without stop, thanks to many clone factories and slave districts to construct the war machines it needs to continue the long campaigns to reach it goals.

The Emperor in his mind of thought would be interrupted by a royal advisor with urgent news of a breakout of a galactic war between the Venomizans and a group of nations known as The Resistance clashing with one another in a heated battle that seems to be similar to the Sith's goals for control over the many systems and universes from the reports by the Imperial Intelligent Agency.The Advisor would be asking if he should alert the Military to prepare for war against this wardogs as none of them were really of specialties to the Imperium to side with one of the side, though the Emperor himself would find interests in partnering with the Venomizians."This Valence, fellow seems to be a fascinating little character with the killing of that fool" Said the Emperor, which was followed by him detailing orders to send a message to the Venomizian Leader.As his mind was clear from other information that was given to him, that the Empire will be joining the war with the Venomizians though with high suspicion of Valence's unknown plans.

"Lord Valence!" Said a Terririte at the door to Valence's meditation chamber.

"Yes Apprentice Kyristana?" He said opening the door.

"We have revieved a messege from an empire known as 'The Xeric Imperium."

"I shall go have a look" A few minutes of slithering to his study later he reads the messege.

"Ah. Them. Allow their kind gesture. For now, we can tolerate them, but keep in mind Apprentice, we must bring the gift of communism and our biology to all whether they like it or not."

Initiate Adolph walkes into the room, seemingly fearful.

"Erm, Lord Valence... The Vanguard has moved out of the weapon's range... Might I suggest aiming at a fortified complex on the planet?"

"Shame, but it is ready so I must utilize it." Valence said as he slithered off to the weapon.

"Let me guess officer... Our means of teleportation are down?"

"Yes Initiate Ormas."

Ormas looked to the fleet taking down his fleet. The control tower in one of the many dropships now on the planet.

"We achieved what we came here for. Our troops and the control tower is now on the planet. All crew stay on the ship. I will be heading for an escape pod. If Valence hears about the destruction of the control ship and relays... Hopefully I will find a peaceful empire who will take me in and hide me from him."

The ships then stop their attack as they realize that they immobilized them. They then turn to picking up stragglers, before a small detachment of 1 star destroyer and 20 viceroy class cruisers soon enter the atmosphere to support the land forces.

Scarif, Citadel

"Come on! Unload it." Nemesis Eight shouted as the equipment for the new weapon was being unloaded to be equipped onto the satellite laser on the citadel tower. It had been under construction for a few months, but now it was finally here. The satellite could reach another system, perfect for the weapon's usage. Soon, the equipment got unloaded and was soon prepared for a shot.

"Admiral says we're cleared for translation." Lieutenant Keassi grinned, "Heading into the contested system over at Reach Alpha."

"Oh, great." The second member of the two-person crew, Ensign Vesset replied with a flick her antennae, "You're certain we've got the correct transponders up?"

"Of course we do." Keassi replied, "Why? Afraid of a bit of real combat?"

"It's not like we're on a Battleship anymore." Vesset growled, "If we get into combat, we're the ones getting screwed over."

"Oh, don't you want to test out the h-space drive?" Keassi asked, his mandibles clicking in anticipation, "Fifteen c. Not bad, right?"

"Bad when you're using it to dodge missiles."

"Actually, these people don't tend to use missiles. Mostly kinetics."

"Spin-up time on the drive?"

"Just under half a second." Keassi grinned, "Now how good do you think our sensors are?"

"Shall we just not find-"

Kesset's sentence was cut off as the ship's systems architecture shifted out of dormancy, reality distorting around them for a moment before they disappeared from realspace without anything more than their bow wave to give away their position. Tearing into the distance between them and the edge of the primary's gravity well, Keassi glanced at the system-wide readout. The gravity well was forty light-minutes from edge to centre: traditionally, getting out of it would take upwards of two hours of constant acceleration.

They were going to make it out in less than three minutes.

"Sheesh." Keassi clicked, "It actually pulls fifteen c. I was expecting eight at best."

"It was supposed to reach a hundred at the initial testing phase." Vesset pointed out, "But fifteen percent of our expectations isn't too bad, I suppose."

"You're going to be the most confusing thing ever to local astronomers." Keassi sighed, "Can you not be impressed?"

"Not until we're back over Umbara." Keassi snapped back, before reality distorted once more and disgorged the scoutship back into realspace, a wave-front of gamma rays spilling out in front of them as the universe attempted to balance out the sudden loss of energy it had inexplicably experienced. Even as the gamma boiled away from them, the b-space drive was already working itself up, reality buckling once more as it was twisted around to fit the new framework the ship was trying to impose on itself and the surrounding volume of spacetime.

And then, just like that, it disappeared, tearing through space at speeds which would once more confuse any pre-translation civilisation.

The three Legionnaires waiting on the station-side of the umbilical were not expecting anything to be loaded or unloaded quite yet: they were certainly not expecting a seven-foot cybernetic Dracoian to walk up to them. When the first footfalls ran through the deck, all three of them half-raised nearly-identical weapons, spreading out instinctively as they prepared for whatever was headed towards them. When the Paladin rounded the corner, they half-lowered the weapons again, relaxing a little as the Dracoian spoke. For a moment they glanced amongst themselves, something passing from one to the next before the left-most one stepped forwards, oversuit retracting from her face as she spoke:

"We have a rough overview." She replied with a slow circle of her antennae, "Is there a location you would like us to deploy to?"

Surface of Fincastle

The battle of the surface was now razing as NEF troops fought on, as the Vemonizians marched towards them, the NEF troops continued to fired as they engaged in trench warfare. It was brutal as NEF Troopers both human and Dracoian used their combat swords, butts of their guns, and fists. While NEF human soldiers weren't naturally strong like Vemonizian troops, they are quite agile, good swordsman, and martial artists, also their cybernetic augmentions and power armor enhanced their strength.

The NEF ships bore down on the remaining Vemonizian ships, brutally broadsiding any remaining ships. A NEF frigate moved in close to a nearby gunship and broadsided it before launching two reinforced boarding pods onto the gunship.

"Mm...interesting" said the Paladin turning away then turned back to the Spindlean Marines ".....anyway, your division has been assigned to serve with the mine the 157th Trooper Legion. Right now we are stationed on New Earth until further notice we are to stay put. However with the situation in Reach Alpha we might be deployed. Any questions?"

Keassi clicked his mandibles together as he surveyed the system they'd arrived in. Beyond the obvious indications of life - developed life, that was - there was nothing particularly significant about it. If it weren't a matter of location, and habitation, it would even be irrelevant. It had none of the spectacular phenomenon or broad-boundary dangers which so often characterised such keystone systems. Of course, that was a good thing for both Keassi and the streams of traffic he could see flitting back and forth through the planet's orbitals.

It was odd to see such a peaceful chaos taking place, even though Keassi knew that there was a battle being waged over it as he watched. It was bizarre, the oddities of light's speed and the information it displayed. Of course, he noted with a grin, there was a cheap trick which could get them around that: it was older than translation, older than gravitics. And, as the six Recon Drones detached from the ship's docking ring, Keassi's antennae flicked with anticipation. He couldn't wait to see what was happening in-system.

With a rippling bow-wave of spacetime, the six Drones disappeared and began to head in-system. They would translate back into realspace within a few moments of each other, spaced out by a handful of light-seconds from one to the next. Watching and waiting as they tore in-system from the edge of the primary's gravity well, Keassi clicked his mandibles slowly, anticipation building in his thorax. Turning for a moment he flicked his antennae at Vesset and tilted his head, an unspoken question passing between them. For a moment she held his gaze before turning to the central holo of the system as it suddenly lit up with real-time data, a maelstrom of ships and weapon discharges. Within moments, the Scoutship had relayed the data back to FleetCom, had it processed, and received it back.

"Three fleets." Vesset said flatly, "I thought this was a two-way dispute."

"Evidently not." Keassi replied, as evenly as he could, "Transponders are up?"

"Transponders are up." Vesset acknowledged, "We're confirmed as neutrals."

"Good." Keassi nodded simply, "Five light-seconds?"

"At the closest." Vesset agreed, "We're not moving any further in."

"I know." Keassi replied, holding his hands up, "No we just watch. And wait."

"Wait for someone to slip up?"

"But of course." Keassi replied, mandibles clicking madly, "As ever."

Jeserria's antennae stiffened at the news of their reassignment. It wasn't what they'd been expecting...but then again, it also made sense in a way. Deploying military units - even a technically neutral one - into the middle of a combat zone was provocative, and provocation seemed to be the name of this particular game. For a moment, she considered it before relaxing a little and glancing back up at the Dracoian, mandibles clicking again as she shifted her weapon onto her back, the gun melding into the suit and melting away into nothing. At her lead, the two others followed suit.

"Then I guess we're going to need to talk." She acknowledged, gesturing to the umbilical, "Please, come inside. What kind of deployment is expected of us?"

An escape pod escaped from the control ship, fitted with many odd-looking psionic range extenders. Right after the escape pod jettisoned the ship exploded, leaving nearly nothing left.

"Lord Valence is going to kill me, if not psychically, mentally." Initiate Ormas said to himself, hoping whomever saw his pod would not shoot it and pick him up, giving him mercy.

The Venomizian troops, though being gunned down by the hundreds, kept moving forward unflinchingly, they were mindless, psychically programmed to do nothing but kill all designated enemies. The war dinosaurs that were dropped off beside them had more freedom of thought, as they kept smashing through NEF defenses. An especially large drop ship landed, instead of dropping off more troops, it started to transform, it started forming a tower. Hundreds of Venomizian troops stood by the tower is protection of it, among other things like engineers who oversaw it's set up and anti-projectile shied generators, which encompassed the tower.

Valence headed towards the machine, to which he strapped his head into it.

"Fire this weapon at the planet by the tower, I must ensure no enemies are in the immediate area in order to take control of the entire planet."

Initiate Adolph pushed buttons and tapped screens, before signalling the machine was ready.

The skies around the soon-to-be Control tower turned red, visions of Valence's face flooded all sentient beings around the tower in a 50 kilometer radius. The last words they would hear in their heads until they were mindless grunts of the Venomizian war machine was the sound of Valence's voice, chanting in Venomizian.

"Je N'Ove eibp Valence"

"I sense that something's wrong." The empress said, before seeing the tower and the sky. Soon, she started to raise a psionic barrier around the troops as they were ordered to stop and hold their ground, making them safe from any mind control."

Soon, the weapon was prepared as it aimed at the planet under siege. Soon, it fired a blue beam. As it hit the planet, a blue wave swept through the land, freeing those under control.

An escape pod had been detected, and was soon brought in by a tractor beam.

Valence shouted out in pain while holding his head.

"No... That is not possible... Millions of minds... Gone from my control... Fincastle is a failure..."

Suddenly, millions of Venomizian soldiers regained their free will, under heavy fire many almost immediately surrendered. However the tower continued to construct.

"Oh thank goodness, they're taking me in. I hope they will be merciful when I am on their ship."

The Troopers quickly moved out of their trenches and surrounded the Vemonizian soldiers taking hundreds possibly thousands prisoners. They where forced to surrender all of their weapons and equipment save their camping gear then they where marched into the nearby field and placed this was to be a temporary POW camp. The Knight Captain of the 198th Trooper legion looked around at the battlefield as he walked to the camp, thousands lay dead, staining the green fields with blood and body parts. While it was a victory he didn't understand how, he looked to a nearby Trooper.

"What caused the tower to fail."

"Unknown sir but I think the Higher Japan Forces had something to do with it."

"Mm....maybe we should thank them....when we find them"

"Yes sir"

He continued to head to the temporary camp where he was to interrogate several officers about the device and its function. As well as how this pisonic ability works....

"Right now, hot drop....we are to assist with any evacuation or aid that is needed.....we are act as a reserve unit only engage when need to be." Repiled the Dracoian as he slightly dipped down to enter the tube. "But I think Reach Alpha might be calming down soon"

While being interrogated, they would find the officers had almost no idea on the device.

"We are free... Finally..." one of the officers mutters.

"That tower? I-I don't know about it, sorry."

"All I know about right now is the battlefield tactics my mind was programmed with, I don't know anything else. However, I bet one of the engineers who were supposed to oversee the tower constuction might know about it. You better hurry though, by the looks of it the tower is still building by itself." One of the officers said.

"Initiate Adolph! Do not speak to me, I need a device! A device that counters that weapon! All of my soldiers have been lost, not dead, but their minds free! I need you to create a sort of psychic shield that would prevent a disaster like this!"

"Yes master, I vill get right on it!" Adolph said rushing over to his workshopm

The Paladin looked st the officers and sighed he then turned to a nearby Trooper and spoke with him in private. The Trooper nodded and moved the Vemonizian officers out of the tent, they where placed by into gen pop where they could mingle with the rest of their soldiers. After a few moments the Knight Captain ordered an air strike against the tower, the Anubis bombers soon roared into the sky and dropped their plasma and conventional payload onto the tower. Soon serval drop ships and gunships full of Troopers headed towards the tower where they infiltrated the shield and ensured its destruction via plastic explosives.

Aurora and Nemesis Eight escort the empress as she approaches the leader of the group defending the planet. "You must be the knight captain i heard of, i am greatly honored to meet you." She said as her escorts bowed as well. Then, a Venomizian admiral was soon pulled to them by two of Aurora's troops, before being held up. "This is the admiral leading the fleet earlier, i believe you have some questions to ask him. Although the people here are liberated, i don't think that they will stop here. The tower is used to amplify psionic attacks, this tech has already been researched by us. We can help you with dealing with them, but i have some demands. One, we wish to anchor some ships here since they can't be too far from here. Two, we wish to build a large satellite installation, this will be essential to defeating them. Three, we wish to raise a psionic shield around the planet. Do you accept?"

Valence was coiled up in his study, thinking of his next moves. Then, he quickly realizes his folly. He slithers over to an intercom to which he called in another one of his initiates.

"Initiate Zeonix, I request your presence at my study at once." Valence said, and not too long after the large, hunky Drakuvon towers before Valence. The initiate kneels before his master.

"You requested me, master?" He said.

"The battle of Fincastle was an abysmal failure, however, that was because I attacked an empire to which I underestimated their strength. Therefore, I demand that you see to the invasion of a civilziation, one which only has primitive means of space travel... I am asking you to bring a fleet to the civilization of the Auquos Union. There, you will claim me the water planet, and with their planet's rich resources and advanced underwater shipyards, we can use it as a base for my expanding empire."

"I will bring my own personal fleet, and their race will lie in shambles beneath our bio-weapons." He said, before leaving out the door to the balcony, and flying off.

"Your free will is on the line." Valence telepathically told the beginner psychic.

"Yes I am the Knight Captain that leads the legions in this sector of the planet. However I can not fully accept your requests.....as I'm not the commander over all NEF forces here." He said as he looked toward the map of the planet on his wrist pad "You would have to talk to the Knight-Marshal Vagabond" he then looks at the Vemonizian Admiral, the Paladin removed his helmet and stared at him "Yes we do have some questions for him......and if he doesn't answer them.....well let's just say he might not live. Order up the 13th Death Legion's interrogators"

A yes sir come from behind the Paladin and soon three seven foot tall Paladins walked up, their armor was different, all black and covered in red streaks, they also had skulls on their shoulder pads. Something seemed evil about them....almost too evil, the lead Paladin had a skull hanging from his belt. He looked down at the Vemonizian and chuckled "We are going to have some fun....." he picked him up and carried him away.

The Knight Captain looked towards the Empress and sighed "Thise guys give me the creeps....and they technically don't exist"

"What a shame, please relay my message to him thank you. I believe my visions show a new planet." The empress said as the prism showed a blurred screen, full of water. Soon, the prims had closed before she was whispered something by Aurora. "We must make haste, the visions show the next planet which may be under attack. We need the satellite immediately. I'll leave to the Auquos union, their shipyards make for a tempting target." She said as she left to board the cruiser on standby. Soon, it had left the atmosphere.

The cruiser had docked into the Vanguard as it reappeared, before the fleet jumped into hyperspace to the Auquos union.

The Union was doing about it's daily business, citizens working and making the economy work, soldiers keeping the peace. Then one of the Union's space stations picked up an odd disturbance , the scientists on board looked at the disturbance. They studied it, but one correlated it to the recent nearby attack on Fincastle. The station contacted their homeworld, and there, the Union went on it's highest alert level in decades. The shipyards of the Union were sent into a frenzy, building up vehcles as fast as they could and all able-bodied males who were not factory workers were conscripted and mobilized.

Chancellor Thrash Ladon went on to address the entire planet.

"Auquis of the Union! Very recently, the Venomizian empire attacked Fincastle, and their failure was broadcast live to every empire they knew of. However, let us not take this lightly and underestimate their strength. Their forces have grown much more advanced than ours. Faster-than-light travel, Interdimensional travel, you name it. But, we will not let them take this planet until every single one of us is dead! We won't let them take our homeworld until every vehicle, gun and soul had been crushed! When they come, and they will come, let's make sure they know that our most dangerous weapons aren't our singularity missiles, rail guns or the Ion Collider. But the fires of liberty in our hearts!"

The Auquis of the entire planet cheered for him, and armies chanted his name. Though he was young at shy, he was a beacon of hope for all of the Union, and Thrash felt they needed that hope if they were to survive.

" Empress, we have now reach the orbit above the union, inside agents tell us that they are mobilizing, we should send a message." Aurora said as she stood by the empress's side on the bridge of the Vanguard, overlooking the blue planet as the new Resurgent class star destroyers jumped in. A message was promptly sent to the leader of the union.

Hundreds of ships leave from Venomizia, along with the biggest ship in the Venomizian fleet: Valence's Revenge. 30 kilomteres long and 3 wide, sporting on board control relays, 500 rail cannons on each side, room for millions of soldiers, a teleporter, and several bombers and fighters. It heads for the Auquos Union lead by Initiate Zeonix, They will not fail here, not while Zeonix was still alive anyway.

"To the Union boys! Shark fin soup's on the menu!"

More ships soon appear as the new resurgent class star destroyers warp into view, fighting along side the older class as starburst destroyers are finally called in. The Vanguard soon appears as more ships come in. Orders are given back to the base on Scarif to prepare for another shot as ships soon flow in, prepared to fight for four days to prevent full control.

"Today and to forever , they shall never feast on shark fin!"

"Initiate Zeonix, must I go over the plan with you ocne more?" Valence asked.

"No need master, I can do it on my own. None will survive, none without their free will anyways."

"Excellent, you may begin the invasion, but no doubt they have an ally of sorts protecting them. Do not underestimate their rail weapons either."

The ships fell out of their light speed travel in the system, Valence's Revenge looking to do just as the ship's name suggests.

"So... What are you going to do to me anyways?" asked Initiate Ormas.

The ships all raised their wave energy shield as the psionic shield was cast, before the Vanguard soon turned it's guns and opened fire on the supporting ships instead of directly at the large ship. The others soon follow along, lighting the scene up with beams of red and blue. B wing anti ship craft and Tie defenders soon flooded out.

Soldiers everywhere on the planet prepare for an invasion, one which hasn't been seen on the planet for decades. Auqui vehicles are being pumped out from the shipyards. The Union's Ion Collider ready to fire upon the enemy fleet in the skies.

Thrash recieves the message from the empress and responds accordingly
