A lot of the larger slaver nations have extensive civil rights legislation in place to make sure slaves are healthy and taken care of. The Chair of The Rich Port, however, is their treatment of slaves; disturbingly, they are regarded as "sub-human".

They are slaves because they are Sub-Humans not the other way around. They were Sub-Human before they were slaves and they will be Sub-Humans long after.

In what way are they inferior to regular humans?

They are not regular humans they are of the Genus Homo but not of the species sapien

Now, do you see anything measuring GDP? No, you see 3 descriptive categories (themselves simplifications, but easily manipulated) and a series of percents. Now, what does "Frightening" mean?

Does it mean my people automatically all get 40,000$ a year? And how does that work with a 44% income tax? Or a 0% income tax? Or a 100% income tax, which is a very real possibility if you're clever enough I believe.

In fact, what part of the NS calculators is /remotely/ empirical? I understand there's a vague connection to the HDI in the original estimates, but that's vague enough and a /very/ imprecise tool.

Long story short, the calculators are great for giving n00bs an idea of what they can't do (launch 10,000 Apollo missions with 5 million people) They're frankly rubbish for freeform RP.

After all, the SunsetRPG DOES grant you greater GDP, and you seem to respect it more than most. So... they're more than capable of our own capabilities, DESPITE their physiological and anatomical differences.

Actually the Sub-Human Neko made several attempts to kill indiscriminatley, including the death of the Floor Kippers Delegate for trying to reason with the creature. It also seems your logic is that they should be kept under strict control by their owners.

Varies by species. The Neko are quite adept at housework and find an excellent market as servants or concubines whereas the Naga often find use in industrial labor there are many varieties and all have their specialties.

Tal'nagga'heid(octupus-thingy) serves as a fisherman and fish-merchant

Tabitha de Sadev(felinoid) serves as the Empress of New Amerik

Most non-humans are adept in particular fields depending on skills and interest. A few species seem inclined to certain areas, like goblins to mechanics and car 'modification', but they are remarkably similar to humans.
